A man is accused of a mishmash of criminal charges across the city including ramming a trio of police vehicles.

Toronto Police detailed various alleged incidents spanning from last fall to this week with the suspect sought for 27 offences in all.
Police alleged that on Oct. 23 around 3 a.m., the accused went to a business in the Dundas St. W.-Parkway Ave. area and allegedly picked the lock of a business, gained entry, filled a garbage bag full of merchandise and fled.

It’s further alleged that on Jan. 29 around 11 a.m., the accused went to a motel in the Kingston-Galloway Rds. area of Scarborough, where he approached a parked vehicle with three occupants inside, allegedly pulled out a weapon and assaulted two of the occupants before fleeing.

Cops said that on Feb. 17 around 4:20 a.m., the suspect went to a residence in the Yonge St.-Hwy. 401 area, where he approached a parked vehicle and allegedly gained entry before taking the owner’s wallet and credit cards.

On March 2 around 2:20 a.m., police said the suspect went to a residence in the Yonge-Malborough Ave. area and allegedly broke into a parked vehicle and stole personal items belonging to the owner.
Additionally, police said officers saw the suspect parked Tuesday in a parking lot in the Huntley-Isabella Sts. area. Officers tried to approach the suspect for “further investigation” when he allegedly rammed three police vehicles and fled in a white Nissan Sentra.
There were no reported injuries.

Carl Chateauvert, who turns 34 on Thursday, is wanted for theft under $5,000, mischief, possession of a credit card obtained by crime, fraud under $5,000, theft of a credit card, break and enter, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, two counts each of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and carrying a concealed weapon, nine counts of failure to comply with a release order and four counts of using a credit card obtained by crime.
He is 6-foot and about 200 pounds with a receding hairline. He was last seen wearing dark clothing with a black puffer-style winter jacket and a dark satchel worn on the centre of his body. He also has a tattoo on his left arm.
Police urge people not to not approach him if located and contact police immediately.
