At 8.54am on March 19, police received a report of a man absconding from a GEOAmey vehicle that was taking prisoners from Blackpool custody to Lancaster Magistrates Court.
The incident occurred on the M55, near junction 2, close to Catforth.
Jamie Cooper, 33, was last seen in the early hours of Thursday morning in Blackpool.
On Wednesday afternoon, sightings also occurred in Preston and Bolton.
Cooper, from Blackpool, is 5ft 7in, has a medium build, and has short, cropped hair. When he left custody, he was wearing a blue coat, blue jeans, and black trainers.
As the search for Cooper continues, Lancashire Constabulary want to reassure the public that they are committed to finding Cooper and bringing him to justice.
They currently have a dedicated team of both uniformed officers and detectives searching for Cooper and running an investigation.
If see them out and about as they continue to conduct these enquiries and if you have any concerns or information, please do approach them.
