Whether it’s binging your favourite series from start to finish in record time or sitting down for the weekly episode of an ongoing soap, there’s a show out there for everyone.
Many will agree that one of the saddest times is when a popular show ends.
It could be a fictional show that has simply finished its beloved story or a popular gameshow axed.
With the recent successful return of shows like Gladiators and the rumoured return of Hole in the Wall, TV fans have been discussing what shows they would like to see back on our screens.
Taking to the r/AskReddit, someone asked just that, ‘Which TV show would you love to see make a comeback?’
Here’s some of the suggestions.
TV shows Brits would love to make a comeback
One user suggested the American fantasy comedy drama series Wonderfalls.
It told the story of Jaye Tyler, played by Caroline Dhavernas, who lives in a trailer park and sells souvenirs at a gift shop in Niagara Falls.
Animal figurines and dolls then spoke to her and force her to interact with people and try to help those in need.
Premiering in 2004, only four episodes were aired before it was cancelled due to low ratings.
Another suggestion was the beloved kids’ show Raven.
James Mackenzie and Aisha Toussaint both starred in the Raven series (Image: BBC) The CBBC adventure game show ran for 10 series from 2002 to 2010, with three spin-offs also taking place,
Originally hosted by James Mackenzie, who played the shapeshifting Scottish warlord Raven, it was rebooted in 2017 and hosted by Aisha Toussaint for another two series.
Each series saw Raven guiding six children, or warriors, through various challenges over five days.
Two eventually made it to the final week and competed for the title of Ultimate Warrior.
Mackenzie tweeted in January about rebooting the series during the airing of BBC’s The Traitors.
Come on @bbcpress if there was ever a time for Raven 3.0 it’s now!! Letthechallengebegin

Another game show mentioned that people want back was ITV’s Fun House.
The popular show aired on the channel over 11 seasons from 1989 to 1999.
Each episode featured two teams with a boy and girl representing schools from across the UK.
There were a total of three rounds in each episode, the Messy Games, the Fun Kart Grand Prix and the Fun House.
Another show someone said they wanted to see return was The Muppet Show.

“With new celebrity guests, but same old format.”
The original Muppet Show aired in the 70s across five series, and featured sketches, musical numbers and other running gags.
As its popularity grew, celebrities started getting involved with the characters.
