Her remains, which were partially buried, covered with dirt, and wrapped in clothing and bedding, were found by a cleaner in the lower level of the complex in December 2022.
Police were initially unable to determine who the remains belonged to, or how she ended up in the void, which was behind a storage area with rubbish bins and a bike rack.
Months later, forensic teams matched DNA found at the scene to Glover’s relatives, who were traumatised by the news.
It was later revealed she moved to Brisbane after falling out with her family, who never knew she was missing, and mistakenly believed she was somewhere else in Australia.
“The detectives have been in contact with the family. They’re obviously grateful for today’s events … I could well imagine that they’ve got a lot of emotions,” Mison said on Friday.
He said her alleged killer was living in the same complex, and their association was based on a friendship.
Police earlier said Glover had led a quiet life, which had made her death harder to investigate.

Mison described the complexities of the case, in which detectives needed to also collect information from interstate.
“We’ve had to go back in time and piece together. It’s almost like starting a cold case from the start,” he said.
While he had no information in relation to further arrests, he said detectives believed there were “other people out there who may have information” about Glover’s death. He urged them to come forward no matter how minor the information.
He said the arrested woman had been living in Townsville for years. When asked about her response to being arrested, Mison said: “There was a reaction today, [but] what they’re actually thinking, I’m unable to speculate.”
The woman was scheduled to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.
