» X-Press Legal Services raised £40k for charities in 2024

X-Press Legal Services and its UK offices organised various fundraising activities throughout 2024 for more than 30 charities, including food banks, hospices, sports clubs, and animal rescue centres.

The Lancashire and Bolton office donated to The Beeches Care Home under the Parkhaven Trust, Farnworth Foodbank, and families affected by the Southport incident.

Sandy Hennessey, owner of X-Press Legal Services in Lancashire and Bolton, said: “We’re incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made during X-Press’ milestone 25th anniversary year.

“Charities and grassroots organisations are often hit hardest during difficult economic times, so knowing we’ve been able to make a real difference to these causes is something we truly value.

“As a company, we’re passionate about supporting our communities, and this donation is just one example of how we strive to give back wherever possible.

“For us, helping others is at the heart of what we do—whether it’s supporting local charities or our conveyancing clients in delivering accurate and efficient property transactions.”

After celebrating raising more than £40,000 for charity, X-Press Legal Services has “started 2025 strong”, supporting conveyancing professionals across the Lancashire and Bolton area with property search services.

Many property owners are ‘eager’ to complete transactions before the anticipated stamp duty hike in April, meaning business has been “particularly brisk”.

Ms Hennessey said: “January and February are always a busy period, but this year has seen even more market activity with the upcoming stamp duty hike.

“Conveyancers are under more pressure than ever to meet the deadline of April 1, and we’re here to ensure that property searches and transactions are handled smoothly and efficiently.

“We are fully prepared to support our clients through this busy time.”
