He was reported missing nearly two months ago
A body has been found in the search for a man who was missing for months. Police have confirmed a body was found on Friday in fields near Peterborough.
Lewis Winter, from Eye, near Peterborough was reported missing on July 16 but he had not been seen for some time prior to this date. CCTV previously released by Cambridgeshire Police showed Lewis leaving the Tasman Caravan Park in Eye at around 7pm on July 5.
The force has now confirmed a body was found in the fields off Eyebury Road in Eye on Friday (September 4). A spokesperson for the force said: “The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.”
