How to watch Wood vs Warrington 2: TV channel and live stream for boxing today
The pair go head to head in the super-featherweight division after Wood’s controversial victory in their first meeting back in October 2023.
Wood, the Nottingham native, stopped the ‘Leeds Warrior’ Warrington in Sheffield, with a right hook in the seventh round enough for the referee to wave the contest off.
Warrington was furious, having beaten the referee’s count, but he saw his challenge for the WBC featherweight title ended early.
This fight, however, will not be for a belt, with Wood vacating that championship to chase the IBO super-featherweight crown.
He lost out to Anthony Cacace, who had already defeated Warrington in his third successful defence.
Now, the two Britons renew their rivalry in Wood’s backyard, at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, with bragging rights, rather than a belt, on the line.
Warrington is coming into this match-up with a win, having beaten Asad Asif Khan in Sheffield by unanimous decision in May last year.
Wood, meanwhile, has not fought since that defeat by Cacace in the same month.
