The 20-year-old died of ‘multiple traumatic injuries’
A young man died after falling from a communications tower, an inquest has heard. An inquest was opened into the death of Oskar Bialon, who died aged 20 on May 10 in Newton-in-the-Isle.
Coroner Elizabeth Gray opened the inquest on Thursday (September 17) at Vantage House in Huntingdon. Coroner Gray told the court that Oskar “climbed a network communication tower”.
He then fell and “sustained fatal injuries”. A post mortem confirmed that Oskar died of “multiple traumatic injuries”, due to “intoxication and ecstasy” being in his system.
Cambridgeshire Police were called to reports of a “sudden death” at around 11pm on May 10. At the time, police said they weren’t treating the death as suspicious.
The inquest has been adjourned to a later date.
