Can you become rich by selling nothing but electricity in Cities: Skylines 2?

In this experiment, I set out to answer one simple question: what happens if you cover an entire map with solar panels and turn your city into a giant power-exporting machine?

The plan sounded simple. Build the largest solar energy operation possible, export every spare megawatt, and watch the money roll in. But as the project grows, so do the challenges. Massive infrastructure costs, power distribution problems, and the sheer scale of the operation push the game to its limits.

What starts as a small renewable energy project quickly turns into an attempt to create infinite money using nothing but the sun.

Can a city survive entirely on solar power exports? How much money can one giant solar farm actually make? And is this one of the most broken money-making methods in Cities: Skylines 2?

By the end, the results are far more ridiculous than I expected.
