» Chelsea 2-1 Man City (23 Mar, 2025) Game Analysis

A stoppage-time header from Erin Cuthbert helped Chelsea come from behind to seal a 2-1 victory over Manchester City in the Women’s Super League on Sunday.

City’s Kerolin opened the scoring at the Etihad Stadium, and the hosts thought they had doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time when Jess Park struck home from outside the box, only for the referee to blow up for a free-kick.

Chelsea fought back and dominated the second half. Sonia Bompastor’s side levelled through Aggie Beever-Jones before Cuthbert’s header in the game’s final moments sealed a memorable win.

The result means Chelsea restored their eight-point lead atop the WSL, while City stay in fourth place.
