  1. Hey doc do you think the Vaccine accelerates weight gain and put people to pre menopausal

  2. Intermittent fasting helped me a lot. Also low impact exercise like walking, lifting heavy weights and staying away from processed food and simple carbs.
But you don’t have to consume animal products to get protein. I eat a whole food plant based diet and eat lots of plant based protein. Beans tofu tempeh seitan… 😋
I’ve been vegan for a decade now and people say I look 10 years younger than I am.
I love animals and don’t want to harm them. So no animal products for me. 💚 🌱 ❤🙏😇

  3. Great video. Right to the point. From researching on the internet all the doctors and nutritionist say the same things. It seems to make sense. I think your diet is the most important and I would add drink water and walk.

  4. I enjoy your information but your before and after pictures aren’t realistic. A menopausal woman who looks like that is unattainable without hours of weightlifting, hormones , strict carb restriction and vigilante protein intake

  5. I'm saving this thank you

  6. Work out, grow muscles and you will NOT gain weight!

  7. Interminent fasting
    Wt training
    Eating more protein
    Do not starve
    Eat Ashwagandha supplement

My addition: Sleep well most important

  8. A pull up bar?!?! Not sure how many of us can do a pull up!! Or maybe its just me 🤔🤣 But def strength over cardio. Top video. ❤

  9. HIIT is not better for fat loss than LISS cardio. HIIT also increases cortisol

  10. Dr Have you even done tummy tucks? I know ppl that have had this done and then they gain more weight in a few years aferward.

  11. I am 51 . Loosing belly fat works .

  12. Dr. Anil Rajani I'm in perimenopause. I have Hashimoto's and find if I fast I gain weight, also seem to get really bad blood sugar crashes if I fast and then eat again hours later. What do you advice to the millions of women out there with menopause + thyroid issues and weight gain?

  13. I've lost another 4 lbs. on the high protein – low carb diet with the 14/10 intermittent fasting. So, that's a total of 9 lbs in 12 days. I thought this diet was going to be a lot more challenging for me, as I was a sweets and potato chip junkie.

  14. Doc, you are the best! ❤❤❤❤

  15. Gained 6 kg after breast cancer chemo therapy and further estrogen reduction medicines like aromatase inhibitors they reducexit by 70%, as long as estrogen is reduced, is there a hope of loosing belly fat?

  16. Very informative and still not too long of a video. Thankyou for info.

  17. I’ve learned so much from this channel! Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge. ❤

  18. Laughing at your analogies! Love it 😂😅😂😅

  19. My sister has stage 4 Breast cancer as diagnosis with mets to lymph nodes, diabetes and later developed a rare form call Medullary thyroid cancer, she have just 2 years to live and she never been this scared to die, she just 37, i cry everyday wishing for a miracle to happen. i don't know why I'm saying this here. put me in your prayers.

  20. Thanks Dr Rajani—could you please make a video on how to approach this for vegetarians and vegans? So hard to find this information as we age

  21. I am doing some of these things but haven't seen a great change, it's depressing. Or I am being unrealistic of how long changes could take to show. I haven't got new stretch marks so maybe that is the blessing in disguise for losing real slow. I wonder if the HRT can makes us put on weight. I have been deep into reddit threads to get more ideas. Today, I ordered a combined supplement of DIM and Calcium D-Glucarate because peri gives a sluggish liver that needs more help in processing. I started back on aqua aerobics/swimming 1 month ago but now need to add at home kettlebell to build more muscle mass to lose more weight. I already on IF and a meat eater, giving up carbs is tough, you all make it sound like it's no big deal 🤣. I also heard a few people saying once they took an advanced thyroid test, the menau symptoms improved a lot because they started treating the right way. I have found a clinic and need to book. Are these green tea gummies on Amazon UK? I dread shipping from the US sorry. Thank you for making this video. This phase of life is so lonely because so few people understand what we go through. Even my own female doctor wasn't phased by my stress and depression.

  22. Fabulous! The best vid on this!!! My internal medical Dr. Put me on pregnolone and dhea and it has changed my life!

  23. This is exactly what I'm through 😢. And I gained 20 lbs . It's been such a difficult few years

  24. I'm living it! 51 post menopause, strength train 3x a week and do 150min of cardio a week, walk every night with weighted vest 1hr, do 2x Pilates a week for deep core & flexibility. 133 lbs, I eat 130gs protein a day, have a protein shake with Greens, Spinach, Moringa leaf, Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, and Creatinine every day!

Eat high protein, high fat and low carbs! Alternate daily with a heated red light radio fervency wand and mask. I alternate with Retinoids & Vit C serums on my skin and use a good moisturizer and eye cream. I use Castor oil 3x a week. Microneedle every 4 weeks! I use a steam sauna to help with anti-aging and muscle recovery, I look and feel amazing! No HRT! These are all the secrets I've learned watching Dr. Rajani. He has changed my life!

Mental Health- Do things you like to do, reduce cortisol (Meditation, Therapy, Journal), take Creatine & Magnesium for clarity & brain health

Exercise- Strength Train (build muscles) & 150 min Cardio a week (Endurance), Flexibility & Balance training

Hydrate- Drink water and Hydrate skin

    Walk- 10,000 steps a day

    Sleep- At least 6hrs

Protein- aprox 1gm per 1lbl of your body weight

Creatine- Important! We lose muscle as we age

Topicals- Retinoids, red light therapy, micro needling, night masking

Nutrition- Healthy foods, Super foods & Intermittent fasting

Seems like a lot but it all becomes part of your routine! I feel like I'm getting younger!

  25. I’ve always said that my weight gain in my 40s came from me eating less. However as a black women this doesn’t apply to us. That’s why I’m 55 and still look around 35 to all who say so. There just has not been enough study on us because there is a known scientific fact that blacks have more muscle weight than whites, which is why we don’t age as quickly as y’all do. I was told by a white doctor when I was trying to figure out why I was gaining weight because I have no health issues and he said it’s because of the muscle mass that we have is to why we don’t age 20 years like y’all.

  26. Weightlifting/sprint. Increase protein to 1.5 gm per pound. Need to create the changes estrogen used to by lifting heavy and sprinting hard. Eat within 30 mins after waking. Never exercise fasting, fuel it and after exercise within 30 mins eat 40 gm protein

  27. I went into full on menopause and I started to gain weight. I got on the estrogen patch to stop the hot flashes and the weight gain stopped but recently I’ve started gaining a lot quickly. I’ve actually gotten more healthy with my eating, I have always naturally done intermittent fasting and I am active all day. My husband and I own a coffee roaster so between that and all my housework, I’m doing heavy lifting and getting my steps in. My biggest issue with working out is that I have an autoimmune condition that causes painful spasms and every time I try to actually work out then I go into spasms. What else can I do?

  28. I was told that menopause is the time after a female has gone 12 consecutive months without her cycle. That being said, wouldn't that make "post menopause " death? All the changes and that 12 month time frame is peri-menopause.

  29. New studies show fasting is not as good for women as it is for men, you actually lose more muscle. Check out Rhonda Patrick for the studies

  30. And if you are a type 2 and have to eat. Then what?

  31. Intermittent fasting is great, I've done a lot. It might encourage people to know that wolves go hunting when they get hungry, because it sharpens the senses (seriously). And for us humans, we often eat "because it is time" – so IF is only a question of surfing that time, knowing that the hunger will recede in 10 to 15 minutes. Sip some lukewarm water, and I tap tap my tummy and tell my body: "go on, eat this!"

  32. Very interesting video. Please, I have a couple of questions!
    Please,
you said 5 solutions, and you got through. numbers one, two, three, four – but no number five.

  33. Grandma’s Tupperware collection 😂

  34. Rebounding and stretching help remind me of who I am (just movement in the morning opens up lymphatic drainage)
Wearing nice underwear for “ME “ keeps me in touch with my Goddess.
Don’t look for outside validation…we are the creators of our reality which is alway moving and changing 💫🥳

    Living my best life 🦋

  35. Just a word on Magnesium. It is an anabolic supplement. Meaning it is a DAY TIME supplement. If you take it before bed in the beginning it will relax your muscles and you will sleep well…for awhile. Eventually it will do the opposite and you will find yourself waking up in the middle of the night unable to fall back asleep. Magnesium is best in MICRO doses early in the day.

  36. Where is other video link?

  37. What to do:
1- Intermittent fasting minimum 14 hours, 10 hour eating window. Ideally, go into autophagy at 16h but no by starving/chronic dieting for 12 weeks
2-lower carbs and increase proteins. Swap pasta, bread and rice for meat, fish. Starchy veggies, pasture cottage cheese, full fat milk, sardines, etc.
    3- isolated protein supplement
4- Weight training 2-3x week "heavy" and not cardio. Squats, deadlift, resistance training
    5- Tongkat ali
6- Lower cortisol: Aschwaganda, 5k steps a day
    7- Hiit instead of cardio
    8- magnesium

Check out the videos linked additionally.

  38. Been doing IF for 4 years (16:8), follow pescetarian diet, with active life style… not working for me anymore, probably because my body got used to it

  39. Yes its been a battle. Gone carnivore / keto for now. 65 finally dropping the weight. Its all about not letting the insulin raise. Using weights and walking and stopped the high cardio.

  40. Over a year and a half of fasting I lost 23 lbs. went on BHRT progesterone and gained 12 lbs in 2 months and my sugars got very unstable and hypoglycemic. So now all that hard work is out the door.

  41. I do the IF, weight and resistance exercises, sprint style exercises, jumping exercises 10 min 3 x week and keto style eating. I add fat too women need cholesterol! Yoga is good too to bring cortisol down and breathwork.

  42. Coconut oil balances hormones too!

  43. Stacked sealed and never leaving 😂

  44. Wow – great video and so many helpful tips and stories and experiences in the comments. I’m starting my fasting today, walking today, and will start a plan to lift. In my experience, I was forced into menopause because I had 3 emergency surgeries at once, including total hysterectomy due to an ovarian abscess, at 42. I wasn’t ready for any of it and didn’t take anything hormone-related to help, before or after. Even just seeing that 5000 steps will help, motivates me. Because I couldn’t do the 10,000 everyone talks about. All of the info, even doing 14 hours (instead of the 16) fast makes it feel doable. And I’m starting today. Thank you ❤❤❤🌻🌻🌻

  45. Wow, I am from Malaysia and Tongkat Ali is a popular traditional herbs used among men but idk it benefits women in muscles gains too. Will study more on this. Thank you Dr Rajani
