  5. I have to disagree with the standing barbell curl only getting a C. IF you are getting a bad lower back you are using bad posture, and if the weight is completely pulling you forward then you are clearly repping too heavy for your abilities.remember LEAVE YOUR EGOS AT THE DOOR . its not rocket science, been lifting weights for 37 years so know a thing or 2 .and you cant buy experience . I totally agree with Greg on this one a definate A.

  12. I live and stand by lying front facing incline barbell curls. Destroys your biceps. In a good way 😂

  13. i'm not sure thay had Cables in the 18th Century thay probably did did pull ups Yes you can go slow on the lowering part 😉 just go fast on the way up to contracted then slowly on the Negative part e.g 4seconds down i cant get more than 6 reps that way🙄

  16. Reverse grip pull ups are the goat of bicep exercises! That and throw in a couple sets of dumbbell curls “ palms up “ and bingo that’s it !

  17. Interesting point of view at beginning, that delta are the most important muscle to exercise for men.

    I had always thought biceps and chest were for show, but actually correct that delts is the big difference between boy and male physique

  18. What about reverse grip pullup or lat pull down? That's better than all the exercises listed

  19. prolly shouldn't rate an exercise poorly based on it's worst expression in bad form. that would mean all exercises are bad because all exercise can be performed poorly

  21. Barbell curl is an F for me, coz it permanently f'd up my right wrist. There's too much torque on the wrist. My wrist now keeps clicking, subluxing…painful lifetime injury. Do easy curl or single-arm cable curls instead – much less torque on wrist.

  22. Agree! The debts always give you that "fit " look.. then chest and arms. Don't forget legs days though…

  23. I'm not a pro bodybuilder, or even a personal trainer. I'm a fat ass currently eating Crumbl cookies. But there's no way a barbell curl is a C.

  24. It’s also not a natural anatomical movement for most peoples joints. There’s a lot of potential sheering motion when you lock your wrists and elbows into that supinated position.

    Anyone who has an education in anatomy, kinesiology or biomechanics should be able to understand why it can be a bad exercise for at least some people.

  27. I love the coffin curl, it is the best bicep workout for me, I do coffin curl, then tri pull down right after each bi set, huge arm pump. Then I go to straight barbell curl and French press 💪🏻

  29. Negatives are alot of what the HIT method used by Dorian yates, no one can say he trained all wrong the guy was a tank and changed bodybuilding.

  30. Great advice, guys! Judging an exercise should come down to does it work the muscle your trying to work, properly and can you get a good contraction and stretch. Those smaller muscle groups especially where lightening the weight allows you to do that properly.

  31. I think dumbbell hammer curls are underrated.
