Keir Starmer sends congratulations to Liverpool on title win before taking swipe at Arsenal’s rivals
Sir Keir Stamer has congratulated Liverpool FC after the Reds secured their 20th league title.
Speaking to GB News Political Editor Christopher Hope on Monday, the lifelong Gooner sent his best wishes to Liverpool “even as an Arsenal fan”.
Responding to Chris, Starmer said: “I will congratulate Liverpool. Even as an Arsenal fan, I have to say Liverpool had a fantastic season.
“Congratulations to Liverpool – it was really good as last time they won they were not able to celebrate because of Covid.”
