Liam Lawson’s girlfriend has showed her support for the F1 star after he was ruthlessly axed by Red Bull on Thursday.
The team confirmed that the 23-year-old would be replaced by Yuki Tsunoda, having struggled during races in Australia and China so far.
Red Bull chief Christian Horner explained the decision by saying: “It has been difficult to see Liam struggle with the RB21 at the first two races and as a result we have collectively taken the decision to make an early switch.
“We came into the 2025 season, with two ambitions, to retain the World Drivers’ Championship and to reclaim the World Constructors’ title and this is a purely sporting decision.

“We acknowledge there is a lot of work to be done with the RB21 and Yuki’s experience will prove highly beneficial in helping to develop the current car.
“We welcome him to the team and are looking forward to seeing him behind the wheel of the RB21.
“We have a duty of care to protect and develop Liam and together, we see that after such a difficult start, it makes sense to act quickly so Liam can gain experience, as he continues his F1 career with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, an environment and a team he knows very well.”
Lawson’s demotion has come just days after he failed to secure a single point at the Chinese Grand Prix.
The F1 star’s girlfriend Hannah St John is, however, firmly behind her other half.
Hannah took to social media to share an image of herself holding hands with the New Zealander, with a love heart emoji attached.
The couple first started dating back in 2022 and is frequently seen at races.
Hannah usually splits her time before her home city of California and London, while she also studies at Arizona State University.

Lawson will be replaced by Tsunoda for the Japanese Grand Prix, which will take place on April 6.
The 24-year-old has more experience than his rival, having enjoyed four seasons at Racing Bulls.
Helmut Marko, when asked why Lawson was Red Bull’s first pick, has told OE24: “Yuki was too inconsistent.
“That’s why we unanimously decided in favour of Lawson.

“But he wasn’t able to perform under the greater pressure, right from the first day in Australia.”
He continued: “Then he went into a downward spiral.
“It’s like a battered boxer, it’s very difficult to get out of it.
“From that point of view, it was a mistake [to pick Lawson].”
