Luke Littler continues to dominate the Premier League Darts in 2025, sitting atop the standings after seven weeks of competition.
The teenage sensation has maintained his frightening form from last year, when he burst onto the scene as a 16-year-old in December 2023.
Now ranked No.2 on the PDC Order of Merit, ‘The Nuke’ has already claimed three night wins in this year’s Premier League campaign.
What sets Littler apart from his competitors is his remarkably minimal practice routine, which has left fellow players astounded.

Premier League contender Chris Dobey revealed on talkSPORT Drive: “The fact that he doesn’t practice, that impresses everybody.”
“He just sits there and is so relaxed. Then he goes up there and blows you off the board,” Dobey added.
“He comes backstage then just stays so relaxed. He barely practices.”
Littler’s impressive performances include hitting a nine-dart finish in his most recent win over Michael van Gerwen in Cardiff.
He has also added to his trophy cabinet, winning the 2025 UK Open.
Dobey believes Littler is currently the best player in the world, saying: “He is probably the best player on the planet at the minute.”
“You have to give him credit where it is due. All these academies and young people in the sport are down to him so.”
Littler’s primary goal remains securing a place in the O2 Playoffs, but his ambitions have grown with his success.
“I just want to get to The O2 as quickly as possible, and I have put myself in a really good position,” Littler admitted.
“I said last year I didn’t care about finishing top, but as I am there now I may as well stay here!”
The 18-year-old has now set his sights on breaking the Premier League points record while maintaining his top position.

Littler will face Bunting in Newcastle, who is still seeking his first points of the season.
‘The Nuke’ revealed he hadn’t picked up his darts between Premier League weeks after skipping the weekend event in Gottingen.
“The nine-darter was an amazing moment last week, but then it was all about staying focused and getting over the line,” Littler said.
His confidence remains sky-high as he continues his campaign without intensive practice sessions.

Despite his young age, Littler has already been tipped by many in the darting fraternity to reach the heights of legend Phil Taylor.
“There are still nine weeks to go and every player is capable of picking up nightly wins, but it would be great to beat the record points and break records for myself,” Littler said.
His impact on the sport has been transformative in a remarkably short time.
As Dobey noted: “Just in the short space of since Littler came on the scene, how much he has brought to the sport. Its unbelievable.”
