MANILA, Philippines—Schonny Winston, once again, served as the driving force on offense for Converge in the PBA Philippine Cup.
Winston led the way as the FiberXers continued their winning ways at the expense of Rain or Shine, 107-97, on Wednesday.
Much like Converge’s previous games, Winston starred to push the squad to a 4-2 record in the young season.

However, this time, Winston gave much of the credit to the FiberXers’ twin towers of Justine Baltazar and Justin Arana for his scoring opportunities.
“They still dominated really well with both of them having double-doubles,” said Winston.
“Because they were so dominant, it opened up a lot for me so we just stuck to our game plan of bringing the ball into the post and capitalizing with our strengths.”
