Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey launched his party’s local election campaign this morning with a theatrical stunt.
Davey was seen ‘riding’ a hobby horse around a miniature showjumping course.
In his campaign message, Davey framed the upcoming local elections as a direct contest with the Conservatives.
“It’s a two horse race. Are you ready to beat the Conservatives and get lots of Liberal Democrats elected this May?” he asked supporters.
