London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan has been urged to implement a “cap” on the number of private hire taxi drivers in London after a stark report predicted a complete eradication of black cab drivers by 2045.
A new report from Centre for London concluded that if the number of taxis in London continues to fall at its current rate, there will be no black cabs on the roads within the next 20 years.
