For XRP to function as a bridge currency settling $50 million+ transactions between banks, the market needs deep enough liquidity to absorb that volume without slippage. At $1.35, XRP’s $83 billion market cap can’t handle it. A higher price means deeper order books, tighter spreads, and greater stability — exactly what institutions require. The price doesn’t rise because of hype; it rises because the system NEEDS it to function.

The three catalysts he identifies: First, ADOPTION — Ripple Prime handles $3 trillion, 300+ institutions, Hidden Road on DTCC/NSCC, Goldman Sachs integrated. Second, REGULATION — the CLARITY Act classifying XRP as a digital commodity, CFTC Chair says “landmark legislation to the President’s desk soon.” Third, LIQUIDITY — XRP ETFs locking supply, 401(k) crypto rule proposed, institutional inflows compressing circulating tokens.

When all three hit simultaneously with fixed supply and a deflationary burn mechanism, four-digit valuations become “within the realm of possibility.”
Conservative models target $8 by year-end. Standard Chartered says $8-$10. But Claver and others argue the utility math for full institutional settlement demands far higher. The $150 trillion cross-border market requires an asset large enough to move billions without friction.
