Taylor Swift Influencer Olivia Makes Up to $10K Per Post

Published

on

A Taylor Swift-obsessed influencer has claimed she makes up to $10,000 per social media post.

According to a report by the New York Post, published on Saturday, April 18, full-time influencer Olivia Levin has scored the significant sum on multiple occasions. “It ranges, sometimes it’s $1,000, but sometimes it’s like $10,000,” Levin, 26, told the outlet.

Levin’s @SwiftiesForEternity Instagram account boasts more than 630,000 followers and is even followed by Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, Swift’s soon-to-be mother-in-law. (Swift, 36, and the NFL star, also 36, announced their engagement in August 2025 after nearly two years of dating.)

Levin, based in Connecticut, shares fan sightings of Swift via her Instagram account as well as Swift-related social media content, commentary on Swift’s public outings, interactions with fellow Swifties, memes focused on Swift and updates on Levin’s own life.

It’s safe to say Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could afford to rent out (several) restaurants every day for the rest of their relationship. Swift and Kelce broke the internet in September 2023 when they confirmed their romance by the Grammy winner watching Kansas City Chiefs play the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri. […]

Her prominence as a Swiftie influencer even landed her a book deal. Levin’s debut novel, “The Story of Us: How the Taylor Swift Fandom Changed Our Lives,” was released on Tuesday, April 14.

In a social media post from September 2025 that announced the book’s release, Levin wrote, “The Story of Us is my love letter to you, the Swifties, who gave me purpose, friendship, and a kind of joy I didn’t even know was possible.”

Levin continued at the time, “If you’ve been here from the beginning, get ready to revisit the eras, the livestreams, the chaos, the inside jokes, the happiness, the fun, and the magic. If you’re newer here, welcome. I hope reading this book makes you feel like you were part of it all along.”

The influencer told the New York Post that her social media career began after she was laid off from her job in the book publishing industry in 2023. “At a certain point, I stopped looking for 9-to-5 jobs because I met my brand partnerships agent who started getting me brand deals,” she said.

Her foray into influencing coincided with the launch of Swift’s Eras Tour which kicked off in Glendale, Arizona on March 17, 2023. The timing was perfect as she quickly boosted her profile by helping other Swifties secure Eras Tour tickets without being scammed online.

“People who had extra tickets or couldn’t make it any more would message me and I would verify the tickets and post them and help them transfer it to another fan at face value,” she told the outlet.

Today, Levin’s posts draw solid engagement, including the September 2025 book deal announcement which attracted support from @kelcebrothers, another prolific Swiftie fan account. “Congratulations Olivia!!!,” the account, which boasts more than 744,000 followers of its own, commented on Levin’s exciting news.

Netflix’s Most Popular Sci-Fi Series of All Time Returns on April 23

Published

on

stranger-things-tales-from-85-poster.jpg

Over the course of five seasons across nearly a decade, Stranger Things emerged as a platform-defining hit for Netflix. It makes sense that the streamer wants to milk the intellectual property (IP) for all that it is worth, and a new chapter in the epic saga is just around the corner. The mainline series concluded its generational run in 2025, with Netflix releasing episodes in blocks. The feature-length finale debuted on December 31, but it wasn’t exactly a home run. The final season received an 82% score on Rotten Tomatoes. While this was still a very positive note to end on, it was nowhere near the 97% score of the first season, which debuted in 2016. Both Netflix and franchise creators, the Duffer Brothers, hope that the franchise returns to form with the forthcoming spin-off.

This is easier said than done, given how difficult it has been for spin-offs of landmark shows. House of the Dragon still seems to be finding its feet, even though audiences are hungry for Game of Thrones to deliver the magic of the earlier seasons. Taylor Sheridan knocked it out of the park with 1883 and 1923, but neither show captured the popular imagination quite like Yellowstone. The new Stranger Things spin-off is spearheaded by Eric Robles, with the Duffer Brothers returning as executive producers alongside Shawn Levy. A new cast will take over the roles made popular by the original show’s breakout stars, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, David Harbour, and others.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Here’s What ‘Stranger Things’ Fans Can Expect From the New Spin-Off

The show we’re talking about, of course, is Stranger Things: Tales from ’85. It’s an animated spin-off set between the events of the mainline show’s second and third seasons, which aired in 2017 and 2019, respectively. The spin-off has been modeled on popular Saturday morning cartoons from the 1980s, such as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Scooby-Doo, and The Real Ghostbusters. The show will be set in the winter of 1985 and will feature the fan-favorite characters as they tackle new supernatural sci-fi mysteries. New characters will be voiced by Odessa A’zion and Janeane Garofalo. Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 premieres on April 23 on Netflix. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Katy Perry Leaves Fans Confused With Rome Fountain Move

Published

Katy Perry at the 11th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony 2025

Katy Perry’s latest trip to Rome is getting attention for more than just sightseeing.

The pop star shared a playful video of herself at the Trevi Fountain, where she ditched tradition by dipping a credit card into the water instead of tossing coins for luck.

The moment quickly went viral, especially as it comes just days after reports confirmed she is under investigation in Australia following serious allegations made by actress Ruby Rose, which she has strongly denied.

Katy Perry Turns Trevi Fountain Tradition Into Viral Moment

Katy Perry made waves after taking to Instagram to share a playful clip of herself at Rome’s iconic Trevi Fountain, but her approach to the tradition was anything but ordinary.

Instead of tossing a coin, the singer briefly placed her credit card into the water, joking about her dislike for loose change.

The moment began with Perry standing in front of the landmark in a grey hoodie, singing “someone give me a penny,” before referencing her own lyrics.

She told fans, “Y’all, I told you in “Save as Draft” that I don’t f-ck with change,” tying the moment back to her “Witness” track.

Perry explained she still wanted to participate in the tradition “for good luck,” but her unconventional method, quickly retrieving the card before it drifted away, left viewers amused and confused.

The Trevi Fountain, completed in 1762, is one of Rome’s most visited landmarks, attracting thousands of visitors daily who toss coins in hopes of returning.

A fan account reposted the viral video on TikTok and in no time, fans flooded the comments section with reactions.

One user particularly commented on the singer’s decision to retrieve the card from the fountain.

“Kathryn it doesn’t count if you take it back! should’ve left it in the fountain for one of your katyrats to find for even more good luck,” they wrote.

Some fans also found Katy Perry’s choice of item hilarious. One person shared, “I can’t believe you used a credit card instead of a coin! I love how goofy you are my queen.”

Another commented, “I think you’re the first person to ever put a credit card into the fountain lol,” while a third shared, “Great. Now ur credit card is living its best life in the fountain.”

Perry’s Trevi Fountain moment was just one highlight from a packed trip filled with performances and sightseeing.

The “Dark Horse” singer captioned her post “Just Rome’ing around,” alongside a mix of videos and photos that showcased both her glamorous and candid moments abroad.

She performed a private concert at La Nuvola, where she took the stage in a glittering bandeau top paired with black silk pants.

With her hair styled in a sleek bun, Perry delivered a performance of her 2010 hit “The One That Got Away,” reminding fans of her enduring stage presence.

Behind-the-scenes glimpses showed her preparing for the show with her crew, offering a more intimate look at her process.

Elsewhere in Rome, Perry posed in front of St. Peter’s Basilica in a chic black-and-white dress, soaking in the historic setting.

She even added a playful moment by singing “Pope Leo, hallelujah,” nodding to the first American pontiff while exploring Vatican City.

Perry Faces Serious Allegations As Investigation Unfolds

While her Rome trip offered lighter moments, Katy Perry is also facing serious developments offstage.

The 41-year-old is currently under investigation by Australian authorities following sexual assault allegations made by actress Ruby Rose. The claims stem from an alleged incident in 2010 at a Melbourne nightclub.

As The Blast reported, a police spokesperson released a statement on April 15 noting, “Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010.”

The statement continued, “Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”

The investigation began after Rose filed a complaint, bringing renewed attention to an allegation she previously described publicly.

Perry has firmly denied the allegations through her representative, strongly pushing back against Ruby Rose’s claims.

In an official statement, her team described the accusations as “dangerous and reckless lies,” emphasizing that the singer rejects them entirely.

The statement read per the Daily Mail, “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies.”

It also addressed Rose’s history of public accusations, noting, “Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

Rose, meanwhile, has maintained that the alleged incident occurred while she was in her twenties during a night out in Melbourne.

The Best ‘Doctor Who’ Spin-Off Proves It’s Still a Masterpiece From Start to Finish After 20 Years

Published

on

torchwood

As the weekend draws near, it’s not too late for Doctor Who fans to check out—or revisit—this perfect sci-fi alternative that first launched twenty years ago. Similar to Doctor Who, it focuses on fighting extraterrestrial threats and using alien technology. Butunlike the iconic BBC series, which appeals to both adults and children, it targets adults and older teenagers, given its much darker, more mature approach that lacks the family-friendly and adventure-driven tone of Doctor Who.

Created by Russell T. Davies, who revived Doctor Who in 2005, the sci-fi series is a direct spin-off and set in the same universe. Its central character is Captain Jack Harkness, portrayed by John Barrowman, an immortal con-man from the distant future who originally appeared in 2005’s Doctor Who. Titled Torchwood, it premiered on BBC Three and on BBC HD in 2006 and ended after four seasons and 41 episodes in 2011. Years later, the sci-fi adventure is back in the spotlight amid anticipation for Disney+’s international release of The War Between the Land and the Sea.

Thanks to streaming, Torchwood is making a comeback, reminding fans of why it remains one of Doctor Who’s most compelling spin-offs. According to FlixPatrol data, the British fantasy drama has been trending on the Apple TV Store in the US for the past 48 hours, surging on the charts alongside its mothership series. Alongside Barrowman, the initial central cast of Torchwood included Gareth David-Lloyd, Burn Gorman, Naoko Mori, and Eve Myles, all portraying specialists for the titular team, who often tracked down aliens and defended the planet from alien and human threats.

Is ‘Torchwood’ Worth Watching?

When Torchwood debuted, it received largely negative reviews, but that soon changed when Season 2 came along in 2008, earning a more positive reception. Season 3, titled Children of Earth, was also a hit, receiving numerous positive reviews, while the final season, Miracle Day, which Starz aired in 2011, wasn’t as lucky. Nevertheless, with an average critics’ score of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, the Doctor Who spin-off is certainly worth binging this weekend, especially if you’re looking to join in investigating some unexplained extraterrestrial incidents on Earth. Series showrunners were creator Davies and Chris Chibnall, who also had a similar role on Doctor Who.

Torchwood is available on the Apple TV Store.

8 Upcoming Sci-Fi Shows You Cannot Miss

Published

on

Paul Bettany as White Vision in WandaVision.

Science fiction fans have been having a blast over the course of the 2020s so far. Andor, Severance, Arcane… the list of future sci-fi classics has been endless, and it’s looking like this year, that list will continue to expand greatly. Fans of the genre should mark their calendars to stay tuned for the release of what are sure to be 2026’s best new sci-fi shows.

Whether it’s a thrilling new entry into the MCU or DCEU, an animated show further expanding the world of a beloved Netflix IP, or a show based on an iconic sci-fi book, fans of the genre will be treated quite nicely by networks and streaming platforms this year. No matter how well these hugely anticipated shows actually end up working, they’re undeniably exciting, and they’ll surely be huge pop culture sensations as soon as they come out.

‘VisionQuest’

Back in 2021, WandaVision kicked off the wave of MCU shows (Netflix MCU series notwithstanding) that have defined the latest phases of the franchise. It has been a wave that’s definitely had its fair share of ups and downs, but the show that started it all has aged rather well as one of the strongest pieces of MCU content that fans have gotten since Avengers: Endgame. The show ended with White Vision, a reassembled version of the hero powered by Chaos Magic, gaining the original Vision’s memory and flying off to process his newfound identity.

That will be the subject of VisionQuest, a miniseries where Paul Bettany will once again take on the role of White Vision. If it’s anything like its predecessor, then VisionQuest will surely be one of the most perfect superhero show masterpieces in recent memory, making it essential viewing for both MCU fans and sci-fi fans. Created and showrun by Terry Matalas of Syfy’s 12 Monkeys fame, it’s a show that promises to be one of the best pieces of Marvel content we’ve gotten in a while.

‘Stranger Things: Tales from ’85’

April 23, 2026

There’s no getting around it: The final season of Stranger Things was, to say the least, disappointing. There’s also no denying, however, that this was one of the biggest pop culture sensations in the world over the course of its whole run, and as such, there are many dissatisfied fans out there who still want more of these characters and the world they inhabit. Thankfully for them, the team behind the original show will be producing this year’s animated show, Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, set between the events of the second and third seasons of the original.

Stranger Things is one of the most exciting sci-fi shows to binge-watch, and if all goes well, so will Tales from ’85. Netflix has a phenomenal track record with animated science fiction, and even after the disappointment of the original series’ final season, the Duffers have nevertheless had a track record with many more successes than they’ve had failures. Seeking to capture the feel and essence of ’80s Saturday-morning cartoons, Tales from ’85 may just be the thing needed to bring Stranger Things fans back on board the hype train.

It’s not just science fiction: 2026 is also promising several new must-watch thriller shows. Fans of both genres will be delighted to hear that The Boroughs falls into both categories. Further proof that the Duffer Brothers are likely back to delivering their A game this year, The Boroughs will be produced by them and created by The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance‘s Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews. As if that pedigree weren’t enough, the cast includes stars like Alfred Molina, Alfre Woodard, Bill Pullman, and Geena Davis.

Bringing the concept of a supernatural town from Indiana to New Mexico, The Boroughs may just be the perfect replacement for Stranger Things in 2026. No one would blame fans of the Duffers for feeling a little skeptical going into their new projects, but The Boroughs truly does seem awfully promising. It’s a fresh new start with a fresh new group of characters in a fresh new setting, and that should be all that sci-fi fans could possibly want from an upcoming series.

‘Neuromancer’

2026 (Release date TBA)

Apple TV hasn’t been nearly as prolific as most of its competitors in the streaming game, but that focus on quality over quantity has thus far felt like an entirely deliberate—and so far, rather intelligent—business decision. Over the past few years, they’ve been making some of the best science fiction shows on television, and Neuromancer will be doing something entirely different for the platform. Based on William Gibson‘s 1984 dystopian novel, a foundational work of early cyberpunk, this promises to be one of the coolest cyberpunk TV shows ever made.

Created by filmmaker J. D. Dillard and writer Graham Roland (who has been in the writers’ room of shows like Prison Break and Lost), Neuromancer could become the first-ever properly successful cyberpunk live-action show produced for a streaming service. That only feels fitting for a show based on a book that was so foundational for the genre. Fans of science fiction history should absolutely make sure not to miss this hyper-important entry into the canon.

  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Back in 2019, Apple TV released its first original sci-fi show: For All Mankind, created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi. It was an instant hit, a dramatization of an alternate history where the Soviet Union got men to the Moon before the United States, and the space race never ended. All the way until its conclusion in 2024, this modern classic remained one of those Apple TV shows that got better every season. This year, we’ll return to the world of For All Mankind, but from the perspective of the Soviet Union this time. That’s the premise of Star City.

Starring the always-amazing Rhys Ifans, Star City should have history buffs and sci-fi fans alike immensely excited. This spin-off is a passion project for its creators, who knew while making For All Mankind that there was a fascinating story to tell about the Soviet space program—a side of the space race much less famous and well-known than the American side. There will be some crazy stories in Star City that even diehard fans of For All Mankind will find surprising, and that should be enough to get anyone excited.

Back in 1982, Ridley Scott‘s Blade Runner was an instant flop. With time, though, it started garnering a cult following, one which eventually grew so large that this is now considered a sci-fi classic as mainstream as any other. 35 years later, Denis Villeneuve made Blade Runner 2049, one of the greatest legacy sequels in the history of cinema. These are two sci-fi films that live up to the genre’s full potential. Nine years after 2049, Amazon Prime Video is giving us Blade Runner 2099, a miniseries starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer.

A return to the fascinating dingy, rainy, neo-noir world of futuristic Los Angeles feels as inevitable as it does long overdue. Executive-produced by Ridley Scott, who was instrumental in the early ideas and plans for the miniseries, 2099 will likely be immensely gratifying for people who have been craving more Blade Runner content for years. Neither Blade Runner movie has been a financial success, so there’s no way that this project is being made with any motivation in mind other than passion and love for the source material.

Whether superhero shows can fall into the sci-fi category is often a hotly debated topic; but Spider-Man projects have constantly proven that it is possible, and Spider-Noir (which is labeled as sci-fi on IMDb) promises to be no different in that regard. In every other regard, however, this Prime Video production looks unlike anything else that fans of the Wall-Crawler have ever seen on either the big or small screens. Co-created by a team that includes Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (though this is not the same Spider-Noir that was seen in their Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), this is one of the upcoming Spider-Man projects to be most excited about.

Set in a noir version of 1930s New York City, Spider-Noir will follow a down-on-his-luck private investigator who, according to Lord and Miller, “already had his Chinatown disillusionment moment.” Nicolas Cage, who has been demonstrating just how awfully underrated he is over the course of the 2020s, will be approaching the character as “70 percent Bogart, and 30 percent Bugs Bunny,” which should be the basis for one of the most unique and entertaining superhero TV shows we’ve seen this decade.

‘Lanterns’

There’s some debate to be had about whether Spider-Noir will truly be a sci-fi show, but it’s far harder to label HBO’s Lanterns as anything else. Following the colossal failure that was Ryan ReynoldsGreen Lantern, fans of the ring-donning superheroes have plenty to be excited about in 2026. Indeed, Lanterns looks like one of those upcoming superhero shows that you cannot miss, following Hal Jordan and Hal Stewart investigating a murder on Earth.

With an almost neo-Western aesthetic and a detective mystery tone inspired by shows like True Detective, Lanterns should be quite a unique and creative way of incorporating the titular group into James Gunn’s DCU. There’s really no reason not to be incredibly excited about Lanterns if you’re a DC fan, and though fans are skeptical about the fact that the show doesn’t appear to be the grand cosmic space opera they were expecting, one never knows the direction that a show like this one may take before it actually comes out. Once it does release, it’ll be an instant must-see.

In TLC’s tell-all trailer released on Sunday, April 19, viewers are in for several bombshells as cast members announce splits and even a pregnancy.

“I am six months pregnant,” Trisha shares while appearing on the show virtually.

When Elise asks Rick if he is the dad, the reality star doesn’t immediately answer, leaving fans waiting for a confirmation when the special kicks off on Sunday, April 26.

90 Day Fiancé has been captivating audiences since its premiere in 2014 — and has more success stories than viewers might think. The TLC reality series follows hopeful couples who have applied for or received their K-1 visas and must get married within 90 days in order to stay in the United States. Thank You! […]

In another shocking announcement, Lisa has big news to share about her relationship status.

Daniel and I are no longer engaged. We are not engaged,” she tells host Shaun Robinson. “This priest had told us that if I leave Daniel, one of us would die. I ended up in the hospital. I am terrified for my life because I’m cursed by a Nigerian priest.”

During the season, Lisa revealed that she’s been married five times and has spent the last 21 years living as a lesbian. As a result, Daniel and his conservative family struggled to accept her past.

Romantic relationships aside, friendships are also tested during the shocking tell-all special. For starters, Lisa appears to have zero interest in being friends with Elise.

“I don’t like you. You are like this little black widow,” she says backstage. “You bring out the bully in school that went after me.”

As for Emma and Elise’s friendship, it appears to be at a breaking point as rumors surface that Elise’s boyfriend, Joshua, may have slept with another cast member.

“You’re pointing a finger at me when I did nothing wrong,” Elise shouts in a tense discussion. “I didn’t do s***.”

Before the event is over, Stig has to respond to accusations by Aviva’s friend that he’s gotten more than one girl pregnant. You could say Shaun has her hands full as the host, and that doesn’t even include a tell-all first.

“For the first time, we have a confessional cam backstage where anybody can go at any moment to speak up or fire back,” Shaun teases in the clip.

Spoiler alert: The cast is more than happy to take advantage of the new feature.

“I don’t mean to sound like a bitch,” Elise says at one point to the confessional cam, “but I do think Laura is being a little stupid.”

Watch all the drama unfold when 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days airs on TLC Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.

Meet Priscilla Delgado, Toby Wallace

Published

on

Season 3 of Euphoria is expanding by bringing back Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and more OG stars — while also bringing in newcomers including Priscilla Delgado, Darrell Britt-Gibson and Toby Wallace.

Euphoria, which premiered in 2019, originally followed troubled high school student Rue (Zendaya) as she struggled to remain sober after rehab. The hit HBO series was quickly renewed for a second season after its premiere, but it took nearly three years for the next batch of episodes to air.

Season 3 was originally set to air on HBO in 2025 before facing several obstacles, including creator Sam Levinson’s commitment to his short-lived series The Idol. The dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, which took place in late 2023, also prolonged the delay.

Since season 2 concluded, the cast went through a loss when Angus Cloud died at age 25 in July 2023 following an accidental overdose. The show is expected to address the fate of his character, Fezco, while Eric Dane‘s Cal made an appearance in the trailer one month after the actor’s death following a battle with ALS. He was 53.

“Some people ask why it took so long between seasons 2 and 3. There were obvious factors — the strikes, trying to make a schedule work with our very in-demand cast, but the real time was in trying to figure out how to find a way to pay respect to those who we lost,” Levinson said in a speech at the season 3 premiere in April 2026.

He continued: “When Angus died, it was tough. I loved him deeply, and I fought hard to keep him clean. The year he died, in 2023, he was one of 73,000 people in America who died of a fentanyl overdose. I learned a whole lot that year, but what I realized more than anything is that death is what gives life meaning. You can’t be arrogant about existence. You’re forced to reckon with the fact that life itself is a wonder, a gift, a profound blessing.”

Levinson also explained how the show will pay tribute on screen.

“There are a lot of scenes where people are either talking to him on the phone,” he told Variety about the decision for Fez to still be part of the story. “I thought that if I couldn’t keep him alive in life then maybe within this show that I can control and keep him alive there. I think the whole thing was to honor him and also I can’t wait for you to see the last few episodes. I think he would be cracking up at his story line. I think he would love it.”

Sydney Sweeney Has Topless Scene, Eric Dane Returns

Published

on

Sydney Sweeney

Euphoria‘s newest episode dove deeper into Cassie’s OnlyFans career — with a topless Sydney Sweeney scene — and a return from Eric Dane‘s Cal.

During the Sunday, April 19, episode of the hit series, a flashback showed Cassie’s evolution into creating explicit content for subscribers. That included a sequence of Cassie’s photo shoots that ranged from her topless while licking ice cream to a skin-tight shirt that had the design of the American flag to her pretending to be an adult baby.

“Cassie was exactly the kind of girl you would dream of signing. Beautiful — but directionless,” Rue (Zendaya) said in a voiceover. “So desperate for attention that she was willing to humiliate herself.”

Cassie ultimately met up with Maddie (Alexa Demie), who agreed to work with her to build up her image — without Nate’s (Jacob Elordi) knowledge. Nate, meanwhile, reunited with his dad, Cal, who was described as a “broke sexual deviant who narrowly avoided prison.” The father-son reunion featured a conversation about whether Cal was or wasn’t gay before he gave Nate advice about Cassie’s OnlyFans career.

Before Euphoria returned for season 3 earlier this month, Sweeney, 28, spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about her evolving relationship with her body — and how it inspired her lingerie brand, Syrn.

Sweeney recalled facing challenges with the line.

WWE star Brock Lesnar has seemingly hung up his boots.

On the second night of WrestleMania, staged in Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, on Sunday, April 19, Lesnar, 48, appeared to retire from the sport following his clash against Oba Femi which ended in under five minutes, per reporting by TMZ.

In a video shared by the official WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Instagram account after the match, Lesnar was seen sitting inside the ring on his own as he removed his boots and gloves before symbolically placing them in the ring’s center. (Wrestlers “often signal their retirement by leaving their shoes on the mat following their final bout,” per NBC reporting.)

The video was captioned by the WWE, “What are you doing, Brock?!”

Heyman, who shared the clip via his own social media account, then approached his client before the pair embraced and Heyman whispered audible words into Lesnar’s ear, kissed his cheek and affectionately patted his head.

Their embrace, which appeared to spring tears from Lesnar, was followed by Heyman raising Lesnar’s arm high into the air to encourage further applause before Lesnar took a bow.

Eddie Murphy Receives AFI’s Highest Honor

Published

Eddie Murphy at The Pick Up Red Carpet

Eddie Murphy has been awarded the prestigious American Film Institute Life Achievement Award, a recognition reserved for artists whose work has left a lasting mark on the world of film. From rising as a star on “Saturday Night Live” to appearing in box office hits, Murphy’s career spans decades of influence, reinvention, and lasting cultural impact.

On April 18, entertainers gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate the career of Eddie Murphy, who was honored with the AFI Life Achievement Award, which is given to artists whose “work has stood the test of time,” per the organization.

The audience, which consisted of Murphy’s friends, family, and peers, gave a standing ovation as the 65-year-old actor walked to the podium to receive his award. “Seeing all of my family, all my kids, my beautiful wife, and seeing all the different people I worked with, I’m just really filled up,” Murphy said.

Filmmaker Spike Lee presented the award to the actor, and among those in attendance were Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr, Arsenio Hall, Tracy Morgan, and Kevin Hart.

“This is a special moment. I wish y’all could feel what I’m feeling, see what I’m seeing. I almost teared up. I’m going to get backstage and cry,” said Murphy.

Mike Myers Appeared As Shrek

Mike Myers, Murphy’s longtime friend and co-star on the “Shrek” franchise, was among those who honored the comedian. Donning a black suit with a bowtie paired with swamp green makeup and Shrek ears, Myers took the stage to say a few words about his friend.

“None of ‘Shrek’s success could have happened without Eddie Murphy,” said Myers, adding that Murphy’s character in the franchise, Donkey, is a “masterpiece.” He then described the actor, saying, “Lovable, hilarious, joyous, vulnerable, and loyal. Eddie combines all of those in a tour de force, and plainly put, Eddie is one of the greatest.”

The first “Shrek” movie was released in 2001, and three more movies have come out since. Murphy and Myers will reunite once again as Shrek and Donkey in the fifth installment, which is slated for release in 2027. In 2025, Murphy also confirmed that a Donkey spinoff was in the works, per The Hollywood Reporter.

Dave Chappelle Referred To Eddie Murphy As His Hero

Comedian Dave Chappelle also honored Murphy, saying that among the people whom he looked up to, he was the only one left. “You were the hero I worried about… It was you, Michael Jackson, Rick James, and Prince. All of whom are deceased, and somehow, you survived it,” Chappelle said. He shared that as a teen, he watched Murphy’s 1987 stand-up comedy film “Raw” daily after getting home from school.

Chappelle also shared a glimpse of the depth of their relationship, revealing that he visited the actor shortly after his 65th birthday on April 3. The comedian worked with Murphy’s late brother, Charlie Murphy, on “The Chappelle Show,” and it was the first time the two discussed Charlie since he passed away from leukemia in 2017.

Murphy urged Chappelle to do “The Chappele Show” movie, and it seems the latter is open to the idea but admitted that it “would be tough” without Charlie. “So Eddie, if I do it, man, do the Charlie parts and let’s f-cking go,” the comedian said.

Stevie Wonder Made A Surprise Appearance

Music legend Stevie Wonder surprised the audience with an appearance, sharing that he first came to know about Murphy due to his impersonation of him on “SNL.” “He made fun of a blind man,” Wonder said jokingly to the crowd.

On a more serious note, Wonder said, “It’s not easy to make people smile, trying to get them to look on the brighter side, but Eddie has a way of getting in our head and hearts to create a belly laugh that eases the pain, builds the bridge, and diffuses a situation that makes a real difference.”

Murphy’s most notable impression of Wonder was in the 1982 “SNL” sketch, where he sang a duet with Joe Piscopo as Frank Sinatra. In 1983, Murphy and Wonder appeared together in a sketch in which the former played a Stevie Wonder impersonator coaching the real Stevie Wonder to impersonate himself.

Eddie Murphy’s Decades-Long Career

Murphy started in the comedy scene in his teens, and his career skyrocketed when he was cast on “SNL” in December 1980. In the years following, his stand-up comedy specials helped cement his reputation as one of the best comedians of his generation.

From there, Murphy transitioned to movies, starring in films such as “48 Hrs.,” “Beverly Hills Cop,” and “Coming to America,” “The Nutty Professor,” and the “Shrek” movies. Despite being known for his comedy chops, the actor has also taken serious roles in films, including the character of Jimmy “Thunder” Early in the movie “Dreamgirls,” which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

Murphy has a slew of projects in the works, including a fifth installment of “Beverly Hills Cop,” the Donkey spin-off film, and producing a George Clinton biopic.

“The 51st AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Eddie Murphy” will be available to stream on Netflix on May 31.

Amy Duggar Pledges to Protect 6-Year-Son ‘Fiercely’

Published

Amy Duggar King and her husband, Dillion King, are fiercely protective of their 6-year-old son, Daxton.

“We can’t shield you from the whole world, but we will protect your world fiercely,” Amy, 39, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, April 19, alongside a photo of her son. “Your safety, your steadiness and the life we’re building around you.”

She continued, “Dad and I will never be passive about who we allow near you. Not everyone deserves a place in your story.”

Without detailing the inspiration of her post, Amy made it clear that her son’s privacy was a top priority.

Amy King (née Duggar) said she is “sickened, heartbroken and deeply angry” after learning of cousin Joseph Duggar’s arrest. “My first thoughts are with the victim, a child who deserved to be safe, protected and surrounded by people she could trust,” King, 39, told Us Weekly in a statement on Friday, March 20. “The courage […]

“We are the gatekeepers of their safety, their peace and their innocence. And we shouldn’t open doors just because someone expects us to,” she captioned her upload. “Access is earned, not assumed. It should be a privilege for someone to know your child, it’s not a right! And peace at home is worth more than approval from anyone outside of it.”

Amy’s family has recently gone through strife after her cousin Joseph Duggar was arrested for unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Joseph, 31, was arrested in Arkansas on March 18, following allegations that he molested a 9-year-old child in Florida in 2020. The victim, now 14, claimed in a police statement that the Counting On alum “eventually apologized for his actions” at the time before the incidents stopped.

Two days later, Joseph and wife Kendra Duggar were each booked for four counts of child endangerment. The charges were unrelated to Joseph’s sexual misconduct claims.

Kendra, 27, was released on bail within hours of her arrest. Joseph was extradited to Florida two weeks later, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges before being released on a $600,000 bond.

Amy, who is the niece of Joseph’s father Jim Bob Duggar, broke her silence shortly after her cousin was taken into custody.

“My first thoughts are with the victim, a child who deserved to be safe, protected and surrounded by people she could trust,” she told Us Weekly in a statement last month. “The courage it took for her to come forward, especially after years of carrying something so heavy, cannot be overstated. That bravery deserves to be honored above all else.”

Amy has long been touted as the “black sheep” of the Duggar family since she wasn’t raised to follow the same strict guidelines. She had also been distant from Joseph and Kendra, who share four children, ahead of the scandal.

“I haven’t seen or heard from Jo in about 5 years,” Amy revealed in a March 23 social media post. “That doesn’t mean I didn’t still love him and want the best for him. I don’t think people understand how much time I spent with them and countless hours filming. I grew up over there [at his parents’ house].”
