Eric Dickerson Slams Bad Bunny And NFL Over Halftime Show
Bad Bunny is not catching any breaks ahead of the Super Bowl halftime show.
The Puerto Rican hitmaker’s upcoming performance is definitely rattling some quarters, including Donald Trump and MAGA, and now, NFL legend Eric Dickerson is in the chat.
Bad Bunny was announced as the headliner for the 2026 halftime show last September by the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation.

Eric Dickerson Is Not Backing Down On Bad Bunny Stance

The former pro footballer expressed his displeasure over the choice of the Puerto Rican rapper to headline the big stage on February 8. According to him, Bunny is doing just fine in Puerto Rico, where he belongs, and he would have loved anyone else except him.
He reiterated this in a recent interview at the San Jose airport on his way to settle in for the most significant event in football, where he questioned why the organizers could not get a home-based artist to do the gig.
“How about someone from right here in San Francisco? All these artists right here in the area to play at the Super Bowl,” the former athlete noted. He also asked if a performance in Spanish would be easy for the American audience to grasp.

Dickerson continued that he was unsure if Bunny would perform in English or his native language. The former footballer emphasized to TMZ that he does not view Puerto Rico as part of the USA, although he had nothing against them.

The Former Footballer Slammed The NFL’s Ongoing Diversity Trend

Dickerson then moved his criticism to the top shots at the NFL, who, according to him, are making efforts to implement diversity in their policy. He referred to the Rooney Rule as a joke, focusing on the wrong things while ignoring the concerns of poorly paid Black coaches in the league.
He continued that at the end of the day, hiring a Black coach has little to do with coercion and more to do with choice. Dickerson stressed that sometimes, people from the same race feel comfortable doing business with each other.
He concluded his session by accusing the NFL of constantly chasing after the money while letting corruption take over their image.

The NFL Pledged Full Support For Bad Bunny Ahead Of His Performance

On February 3, The Blast shared that the NFL addressed Bunny’s Grammy speech during a press conference to give an update on preparation for the event. NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, was asked to speak on his expectations for the rapper’s performance, given that he went a bit political at the Grammys.
Goodell clarified that the league had no bone to pick with his speech and, if anything, it made him stand out as a generational artist who absolutely deserved to grace the stage on February 8.
The commissioner continued that Bunny fully understands how influential the Super Bowl platform is, and so he will give a worthy performance. He described the halftime show as more than just a music performance, as it is also an opportunity for cultures to marry through creativity and talent.

Lady Gaga Applauded The Grammy ‘Album Of The Year’ Winner

The pop powerhouse was in the audience when Bunny stepped onto the stage to receive his coveted Grammy award, and she would not stop cheering, even after the ceremony. Gaga, in her interview with PEOPLE, revealed that she had endless admiration for Bunny due to his brilliance and kind nature.
She praised him for taking such a bold stance on the treatment of immigrants in America and for how he preached more love than hate, and added that more artists should learn from him.
The musician added that despite her lengthy years in the industry, she would not bother to give Bunny any advice because he knows exactly what he is doing.
“He knows who he is, and that’s the only thing that matters when you step onto that stage. All he has to do is be the beautiful person he already is, and the world will feel his heart,” the star expressed.

Here Is The Only Thing Bad Bunny Wants From His Audience

The Puerto Rican rapper kept mum during the Apple Music press conference yesterday, February 5, about what fans should expect from his performance.
The Blast stated that he refused to give any details as to whether anyone would be joining him on stage, as he did during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira’s set. However, the rapper was sure about his audience dancing the night away to his sonorous tunes despite the fact that most of them would be in Spanish.
Bunny assured his fans that his previous advice about them learning Spanish in under 4 months was no longer a prerequisite to enjoying his performance. They must, however, not forget to dance from the heart as they watch the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks battle it out for the Vince Lombardi Cup.
Will Bad Bunny’s performance convince Eric Dickerson that the NFL made a good choice after all?

Disney+ Let the Muppets Cook and It’s Paying Off Big Time
The ratings for Disney+’s revival of The Muppet Show are in, and the news is good for long-suffering Muppet fans. The latest project from the venerable troupe of puppets is currently at #1 on Disney+’s streaming charts, which could lead to a new ongoing series spinning out of the special. It doesn’t hurt that the reviews have been so overwhelmingly positive that even Statler and Waldorf couldn’t complain about them, with a 100% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes; Collider’s Ross Bonaime called it “delightful.”
The revival of The Muppet Show, the five-season 1976-1981 variety show that launched the Muppets into the public’s consciousness, is the brainchild of Seth Rogen, who is on a producing hot streak. His new Hollywood satire, The Studio, has become an awards darling, while his adaptations of the comics series The Boys and Invincible have been major successes for Prime Video. The success of The Muppet Show revival comes as a relief to fans of the long-running franchise, which has had limited success with a number of projects over the past decade, including the mockumentary-style series The Muppets and the musical limited series The Muppets Mayhem. The special, which was launched as a one-off special, has been mooted as a backdoor pilot for a possible ongoing series should the special prove popular.
What Happens on ‘The Muppet Show’?
The revival of The Muppet Show is also a meta-fictional revival of The Muppet Show on-screen, as Rogen spearheads the return of the Muppets in the familiar confines of their theater. However, unfortunately for the perpetually harried Kermit the Frog (Matt Vogel), everyone wants to perform, leaving the show terribly overbooked. Meanwhile, special guest star Sabrina Carpenter ignites jealousy in Miss Piggy (Eric Jacobson), who’s already fuming over her allegedly stolen image when she sees the Muppet-sized chanteuse flirting with Kermit. However, she manages to steal the show, with appearances in “Pigs in Wigs,” a Bridgerton spoof that sees her paired with Pepe the Prawn (Bill Barretta), and an unplanned invasion of Kermit and Sabrina’s “Islands in the Stream” duet. Also: Gonzo the Great (Dave Goelz) has his latest stunt go terribly awry, Beaker becomes Dr. Bunsen Honeydew’s unwitting test subject, and Maya Rudolph confronts the grim specter of death.
A new Muppet Show isn’t the only Muppet project in the works. Oh, Mary! mastermind Cole Escola is penning a solo feature for Miss Piggy; Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence have been tapped for supporting roles.
The Muppet Show is now streaming on Disney+. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.

Netflix’s Giant Shark Movie That Rivaled Jason Statham’s ‘The Meg’ Gets a Major Sequel Update
Giant sharks aren’t leaving our screens anytime soon. Back in 2024, Netflix took its own stab at the sharksploitation genre with Under Paris, a French horror thriller that saw Paris beset by a mutated variant of the predator big enough to rival The Meg lurking within the Seine River as the city prepared to hold the World Triathlon Championships. Despite debuting to mixed reviews, it exploded on the platform, becoming its second-most-watched non-English film ever, behind only Troll. All the success, unsurprisingly, earned Xavier Gens‘ film a sequel, and now, nearly two years later, a new report has confirmed who will continue the shark-infested carnage.
Another prominent French director, Alexandre Aja, is set to take the reins in Gens’ place for Under Paris 2. At this time, it’s unknown why Gens stepped away, but his replacement is a strong fit nonetheless, having become a known commodity when it comes to water-based creature features, including the campy Piranha 3D and the crocodile disaster flick Crawl. He also helmed the widely-praised and much darker 2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes and, most recently, took on the under-the-radar Halle Berry supernatural mystery Never Let Go for Lionsgate. Netflix has yet to announce who is writing the script or if Gens will be back in any other capacity for the follow-up. When the sequel was first announced, he was said to be developing with hopes of filming beginning in the fall of 2025.
Plot details for the Under Paris sequel have yet to be shared, but it’s expected to bring back star Bérénice Bejo to reprise her role as marine biologist Sophia Assalas. Producer Vincent Roget is also back in the fold. The first film followed Sophia as she raced to save Paris from a certain bloodbath courtesy of the giant shark named Lilith in the Seine. In the process, she had to face her past and reckon with the violent death of her husband and colleague at the jaws of said shark. The result is a thrilling Jaws-like tale that goes off the rails, as she joins forces with police diver Adil (Nassim Lyes) to hunt down and kill the monstrosity as Paris’s mayor tries to rush the Triathlon along despite the danger. Presumably, Aja will pick up from the bleak ending Gens left viewers on, which saw the duo’s plans fail and all hell break loose as the city’s center is plunged underwater and Lilith’s offspring flood the rest of the world.
‘Under Paris 2’ Follows a Long String of Beloved Shark Horrors
While Aja may have experience with terrors in the water, it’ll be a tall task to replicate the success of Under Paris and create a shark flick that can stand with the best. The genre is flooded with films of varying quality, but it’s also delivered some truly classic films like Steven Spielberg‘s aforementioned Jaws or the quiet low-budget horror Open Water. Last year even saw a new addition to the sharksploitation oeuvre that earned widespread acclaim — the Jai Courtney-led Dangerous Animals, following a surfer who gets dragged to the ocean by a shark-obsessed serial killer to be ritualistically fed to the sea creatures. Expectations remain high that Aja can create another fun, chaotic, and bloody ride that’ll draw audiences back to the infested waters of Paris, though.
Under Paris is now streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned here at Collider for more on the sequel now that Aja is on board.

Camilla Araujo Breaks Silence On Messy Launch Of ‘Becoming Her’
Camilla Araujo is owning the bumps in the road and making it clear she’s not letting the internet’s noise derail her next chapter. In a new episode of her podcast featuring Julia Filippo, Araujo opened up about the rollout of her social media mentorship program, “Becoming Her,” admitting the launch didn’t unfold the way she imagined. Still, Camilla Araujo insisted the mess didn’t break her momentum and claimed she’s already seeing real wins inside the community.

Camilla Araujo Admits ‘Becoming Her’ Launch ‘Did Not Go As Expected’ After Months of Anxiety
While reflecting on the months leading up to her big release, Araujo confessed she was dealing with intense anxiety behind the scenes, even as she tried to stay excited about what she was building. “The months leading up to me dropping ‘Becoming Her’, I was like really ill,” she said. “Like I was so anxious the whole time because I was so excited about it.”
But even with all the prep work, Araujo admitted the launch itself didn’t hit the way she hoped. “Obviously, launch did not go as expected,” she said, before adding, “but we keep going. We keep pursuing. We keep pushing through.”

Araujo Opens Up About The Mental Toll Of Online Criticism
As she and Filippo talked through internet culture and backlash, Araujo suggested that once the internet decides to “pound in,” it can mess with your head and motivation. “I feel like with anything when the internet just is just… pounding in on you, like it’s just so demotivating,” Araujo said. “Like it makes you… I don’t know.”
Filippo agreed, noting that online blowback can hit hard in the moment, even if you know you’re doing what’s best for you.

Camilla Araujo Says Watching Women Succeed Has Made ‘Becoming Her’ Worth It
Even while acknowledging the rocky start, Araujo gushed that the program has become one of the most rewarding projects she’s ever done, especially as she watches women in her community gain momentum. “I want to preface like it has been the most fun, rewarding thing I’ve ever done,” she said.
Araujo also pointed to the types of success stories she says she’s seeing inside the mentorship, including one example involving a young woman who allegedly started earning quickly. “We had this one girl, she’s like 19 years old,” Araujo said. “She made her first like three grand in a week or something like that… as a college girl.”

She said those stories are the reason she’s staying locked in, regardless of what anyone online has to say. “Watching these women win has been so f-cking incredible,” she said.

Araujo Says She’s Found New Purpose With ‘Becoming Her’
Despite the early chaos, Araujo told listeners she’s in a completely different headspace now and feels like she’s found a new purpose. “What matters is if I’m happy and I’ve just been literally thriving,” she said. “Like I’ve just had… I’ve been having so much fun with it.”
She also described the program as more than a business, saying it’s turned into a support system where members hype each other up and show up for one another. “It’s like a community, and they all text each other, and they’re like, ‘Hey guys, I posted a TikTok. You should come support me,’” she said.
Araujo added that the live calls have been especially emotional, and even had her close to tears. “I just did a live call today, and I was literally like on the verge of tears,” she said, explaining it’s been powerful “just hearing their stories.”

Camilla Araujo Pushes Back On Claims She Turned Against OnlyFans Creators
Araujo also hinted that the drama around the launch may have gotten tangled with another narrative she’s been trying to correct… the idea that she’s turned against creators on OnlyFans. “I think the one thing that got misconstrued in all of this was that I hate OnlyFans girls now,” she said. “That’s not it at all.”
Instead, she framed her pivot as a personal decision and said she’s simply on a different path now. “It wasn’t my passion,” she said. “It was just comfortability.”
Araujo Says Happiness Matters More Than A Perfect Launch
Camilla Araujo may be admitting the “Becoming Her” launch got messy, but she’s not treating that as a failure. Instead, she’s treating it as part of the process. And if her latest comments are any indication, she’s determined to keep building, with or without the internet’s approval.
“Your happiness is what matters, and you need to do what you feel is best,” she said.

Quinton Aaron’s Family Shares Positive Update After His Spinal Stroke
Quinton Aaron’s family have shared a positive update on The Blind Side actor after he was hospitalized after suffering a “spinal stroke.”
Quinton, 41, is feeling optimistic amid his recovery and looking forward to watching the Super Bowl this Sunday, the Aaron family said via a statement shared with Us Weekly on Friday, February 6.
“Quinton is in a jovial mood, now laughing and smiling and is communicating to the best of his ability while he continues to recover,” the statement read. “He’s watching TV and getting ready to root for his favorite team this weekend.”
Previously, the Aaron family confirmed on January 29 that Quinton had been admitted to an Atlanta hospital after suffering a “spinal stroke.” Quinton’s legs had stopped functioning as he was walking up stairs in his apartment, and he had collapsed as a result.
The family said at the time, “We acknowledge that you’ve heard about Quinton Aaron’s condition. We appreciate the overwhelming love, support and prayers that Quinton has received over the past few days from his fans, the public and our concerned community.”
In the statement, the family shared details on the status of the actor’s health at the time.
“He is alert, aware and recovering. The Aaron family has a lot to deal with for the betterment of their loved one, but will be sure to keep everyone posted regarding Quinton’s health as we see fit,” it continued.

The family also noted that factual information regarding Quinton’s health will only be delivered by a “blood relative” via the family’s spokesperson and “lifelong friend” Liana Mendoza, urging the public to ignore misinformation from other sources.
News broke on January 25 that Quinton had been hospitalized. Days later, Quinton’s wife, Margarita Aaron, confirmed to TMZ that the actor was on life support but showing signs of improvement.
A GoFundMe page was set up by the Veterans Aids Network — an organization that Quinton has previously worked with. The page aimed to raise money to help support his family as he recovered from his health woes.
“Quinton is one of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever meet,” the GoFundMe page stated. “He shows up for others. He encourages, uplifts and gives freely of himself, often without asking for anything in return. Today, he needs us to show up for him.”
The page added, “Quinton has spent his life inspiring others, reminding us that compassion and humanity still matter in this world. Now, as he faces one of the hardest battles of his life, let’s surround him and his loved ones with that same compassion, strength and care.”
Quinton is best known for his portrayal of former NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher in The Blind Side. Tim McGraw, Lily Collins and Sandra Bullock also starred in the 2009 film.
The actor also suffered a previous health scare in the last 12 months. In March 2025, he was admitted to a hospital with a fever and a bloody cough.
Quinton suspected he was experiencing Type A flu in addition to pneumonia before his release.

Valentine’s Day Just Got a Lot More Romantic for Jane Austen Fans
The season of love —Valentine’s Day — is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with the queen of romance herself, Jane Austen. Austen is widely regarded for her enduring, witty, and genre-defining love stories, such as Pride and Prejudice, which has been adapted multiple times for bothsmall and large screens over the years. While that may be her most popular work, thanks to Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy’s compelling romance, several others also deserve as much attention, including her unfinished 1817 novel that was adapted into a three-part series.
Titled Sanditon, the British series ran from August 25, 2019, to April 24, 2023, on ITV in the U.K. In the U.S., on the other hand, it premiered on January 12, 2020, on PBS, followed by Season 2 on March 20, 2022, and Season 3 on March 19, 2023. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the Austen favorite is getting some extra love thanks to PBS, as it has been confirmed that it will be way easier to stream in the U.S.
Starting on Valentine’s Day, all three seasons of Sanditon will be available to stream free on PBS.org and the PBS app for a full month, ending on March 14, 2026. The historical drama joins a boatload of Austen adaptations that have become easier to stream this season of love. Sanditon was adapted by Emmy and BAFTA award-winning screenwriter Andrew Davies from Austen’s novel, originally called The Brothers, written only months before her death. It follows Charlotte Heywood as she moves to the quiet fishing village of Sanditon for a fresh start, only to meet Sidney Parker, a charming man who has ambitions to turn the tranquil seaside residence into a luxury resort.
Who Stars in ‘Sanditon’?
Rose Williams and Theo James lead the beautiful tale of Sanditon as Charlotte Heywood and Sidney Parker. They are joined by Kate Ashfield as Mary Parker, Crystal Clarke as Georgiana Lambe, Turlough Convery as Arthur Parker, Jack Fox as Sir Edward Denham, Kris Marshall as Tom Parker, and Anne Reid as Lady Denham. James left the series after Season 1, along with Mark Stanley and Leo Suter, who hadmoved on to new projects.
Sanditon begins streaming for free on PBS.org and the PBS app on February 14. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.

Rep. Tim Burchett Says the Only Bad Bunny He Knows Was His Horny Pet Rabbit
Congressman Tim Burchett
Only Bad Bunny I Know Is My Late Horny Pet
Published
TMZ.com
Congressman Tim Burchett says he wouldn’t know Bad Bunny if the rapper walked up to him and asked to borrow his cell phone … and the only bad bunny he knows is his pet rabbit, who had sex on Christmas morning in front of his nephew.
We got the Republican representative from Tennessee at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C., and our photog asked about the Super Bowl LX halftime show performer.
Instead of wading into the BB conversation — which some folks are pissed the NFL went with him for the Big Game — Burchett shares a funny story about his late pet rabbit, who was seriously horny.
Burchett says he had a Flemish Giant Rabbit named Floppy and one Christmas morning, a friend with another Flemish Giant Rabbit brought their pet, Caramel, over to breed … the rabbits got locked in a cage together and started doing the deed.
As Burchett tells it, his nephew asked him what the rabbits were doing … and he balked in on talking about the birds and the bees.
Sadly, Floppy had a heart attack a short while later … though Burchett says the rabbit died doing what he loved.
RIP Floppy.

Meghan McCain Slams Recently Canceled Talk Shows as ‘Sublimely Boring’
Meghan McCain is not holding back when it comes to sharing her opinion on why she thinks the axe fell on several daytime talk shows this week.
Taking to social media on Friday, February 6, McCain, 41, claimed the canceled shows weren’t interesting enough to remain on air.
“The reason all these daytime talk shows are being canceled is because they are sublimely boring and all the hosts want to be loved,” McCain, who previouslu cohosted talk shows The View and Outnumbered, wrote via X.
McCain said Wendy Williams, who hosted The Wendy Williams Show, which aired from 2011 until 2022, as well as appearing on The View, was a much more interesting option in the past because of her willingness to be outspoken.
“Wendy Williams was the GOAT because she said the quiet things we all were thinking out loud. She was messy, raw, real and wildly entertaining,” McCain continued.
While McCain did not namecheck a specific show or host in her post, Kelly Clarkson and Sherri Shepard both announced this week that their respective talk shows would not be continuing past the current season.
Clarkson, 43, shared on Monday, February 2, that her eponymous show will come to an end after its seventh season which is currently on air.
“I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at The Kelly Clarkson Show, both in Los Angeles and New York,” Clarkson said in a statement to Us Weekly. “There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”

Kelly Clarkson. (Photo by Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images)
She continued, “Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show. Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”
Despite the show’s axing, Clarkson insisted that “this isn’t goodbye” and shared that she will be still making music and making appearances on The Voice.
“You never know where I might show up next. But for now, I want to thank y’all so much for allowing our show to be a part of your lives, and for believing in us and hanging with us for seven incredible years,” she said.
The same day, Lionsgate-owned syndicated TV production company Debmar-Mercury confirmed that Sherri Shepherd‘s daytime talk show, Sherri, will conclude after four seasons.
“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production — which has found strong creative momentum this season — or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus told Us. “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”
