‘Stranger Things’ Easter Egg May Have Just Revealed the Future of Netflix’s New Stellar Sci-Fi Series
[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers for The Boroughs Season 1]
Summary
After the massive success of Stranger Things put Netflix at the forefront of sci-fi television, the Duffer Brothers return to the streamer with Upside Down Pictures’ The Boroughs, created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance). From the get, the eight-episode series establishes a familiar Steven Spielberg-inspired whimsy, and immediately confronts viewers with a lurking danger, a threat that won’t let its Season 1 finale end on too much of a high. To break down that telling final shot, Collider’s Steve Weintraub sat down with stars Geena Davis, Denis O’Hare, and Clarke Peters for clues to future seasons.
In the show, retiree Sam Cooper (Alfred Molina) reluctantly moves to a quaint retirement facility, The Boroughs, in the solitary desert of New Mexico. From the outside, the community is a picture-perfect escape, but this little patch of heaven, run by Blaine (Seth Numrich) and Anneliese Shaw (Alice Kremelberg), hides a deadly mystery that Sam and his new friends, Renee (Davis), Judy (Alfre Woodard), Art (Peters), and Wally (O’Hare) are determined to get to the bottom of.
Don’t miss the full conversation in the video above or the transcript below, where Davis, O’Hare, and Peters discuss the meaning of that final Stranger Things Easter egg shot, what they know about The Boroughs’ future, and what goes on between takes on set. The trio also reflects on their careers, recommending next watches for new fans, and sharing their preparation process for ambitious emotional scenes.
‘The Boroughs’ Stars on What to Watch Next
Geena Davis also denies that the Thelma & Louise callback hides any sinister secrets…
COLLIDER: So you read the script for Episode 5, and you see that you’re going to be in the front seat of a car overlooking a crevasse. Did you think, “Am I making another Thelma & Louise?”
GEENA DAVIS: Really? Is that what you thought? I’m so surprised. It didn’t occur to me. [Laughs] I don’t go over the cliff! That’s all we know.
When I saw it, though, I was like, “What?” There’s going to be a whole generation of people watching this that are younger, that actually will not have seen your work before. For each of you, after someone who hasn’t seen your work sees this, what’s the first thing you’d like them watching from your resume after this?
DAVIS: That’s an interesting question.
DENIS O’HARE: I definitely have a different fandom because of True Blood and [American] Horror Story. True Blood tends to skew, now, a little older, but Horror Story, some of these fars are, like, 17, 18, 16. The other day in LA, this kid said to me, “I was raised on you,” and I was like, “What?” “Yeah, I started watching you at 13.” And I was like, “Oh my god, how old are you now?” He’s 25. So, I definitely have that. But I would tell them definitely to go back and watch True Blood for me.
CLARKE PETERS: I would say go look at Treme. Yeah, I would say look at Treme because of the mysticism in Treme and the mysticism in this. There is a connection, and if they’re watching them both and they make the connection, then I will have done my job.
DAVIS: The Long Kiss Goodnight, I think, is the most important one to see. I mean, if they haven’t seen Thelma & Louise, I would say that movie. It holds up. It’s 35 years later, but it really does.
When you guys signed on for this, how much were you told about, “If the show’s a hit and we do more than one season, this is what we have planned,” and how much is it sort of like, “We’re just going to tell you nothing?”
PETERS: I got, “They’re going to tell you nothing.”
DAVIS: They tell you nothing. I don’t know anything about next season.
PETERS: Nothing. Notta, notta, notta. The business has changed so much that nowadays you get sides that have nothing. You have no context. Have you experienced this? No one wants to reveal anything, even to the people that they want to hire. So, they’re not going to tell us what’s going to happen in Season 5 — are you?
What Does Episode 8’s Final Shot Really Mean for ‘The Boroughs’?
All we’re saying is this didn’t bode well for Will in Stranger Things…
The ending of Episode 8 has Sam, Alfred [Molina]’s character, glitching with the mirror? When you read that in the script, or if you saw the episode, were you asking, “Okay, so, what does this mean?”
O’HARE: Well, the ending is too nice. It’s too jovial. It’s too normal. You know what I mean? You’re looking at it, and you’re going, “What? Where’s the underbelly here?” So when you see that glitch, you’re like, “Ah, right. Things are not solved. Things are not back to normal. Things are still dangerous,” which I love.
DAVIS: Yes. The characters think it’s all over, “We won,” but yeah.
PETERS: But even Sam doesn’t see it.
O’HARE: Exactly. He has his head down, which is great. I love that.
There’s also a part two to this because I studied the ending of the episode, and the last frame is this collapsing thing that almost goes into, like, a black hole, and I’m like, “What the hell is this?” Did you ask about that, or am I alone wondering what that last shot was?
O’HARE: Well, the visual style of the show, I think, is really another character. The very first shot of the very first episode is that the huge drone shot coming in. You’re coming in, coming in, coming in, and you go into the house to see Dee Wallace. That’s an amazing visual statement of someone. Who is that POV? Who is looking into Dee Wallace’s house? And at the end, who is that? You know what I mean?
100%. The Duffers have joked that this show is Stranger Things but with golf carts instead of bicycles. Did you hear that? What was your reaction?
DAVIS: [Laughs] I did hear that. I thought that was pretty clever.
What’s cool about the show is that it has this ‘80s, Amblin-esque kind of thing. It’s a cool tone. Can you sort of talk about what it’s like to make one of those shows that has that magic realism, if you will?
O’HARE: Well, part of it is that the set was awesome.
DAVIS: Unbelievable.
O’HARE: The houses that we were living in, some of those houses were completely done. They were complete. You walk in, and it’s an actual house. Some were less complete. But all the visuals, the way the TV looks, even the logo of the Boroughs, it’s sort of ‘40s, ‘50s. Blaine and his wife, they definitely feel like June and Ward. We have a June and Ward line at one point. “Hi! Welcome home, Ward!” “Hi, June!” There are so many references to classic TV, like The Golden Girls are on TV, old movies, and it creates that world where you’re like, “Where are we?” We’re in a world of seeming perfection, which is hiding something else.

‘The Boroughs’ Cast Share Advice for Younger Generations
The trio also discuss how they prep for big emotional scenes.
The showrunners have mentioned that, according to some napkin math, the cast is like 350 years worth of acting experience. It’s a big number.
DAVIS: That’s a big number!
It is. So when the cameras stopped rolling in between takes, who’s the absolute troublemaker, or did you all have a very similar kind of work ethic/play ethic?
DAVIS: We fooled around a lot. Nobody was like, “Don’t bother me, I’m in my character.”
PETERS: No, it wasn’t like that. “Don’t take me out of my zone.” No, it was fun. Something we discovered last night, it was observed last night, is that in between our takes, we’d talk. In between the takes of younger generations, they go to the phone.
[Laughs] Sure.
PETERS: There’s a big difference in that and how that affects the individual and their performance as an ensemble. This is very much like that. So, what happens in between takes can be anything besides a phone.
I’m always curious how actors get ready for a really big emotional scene, so for all three of you, if you have a really big scene on a Monday, do you like to rehearse the full scene and get into all of it before you get to set, or how much do you sort of go halfway and want to save the the emotion, if you will, for when you’re actually on camera?
O’HARE: I think the weird thing for me to know is what is the shot sequence? What shot are you going to use? You know what I mean? Not that I’m saving it for the close-up, but if this is going to live in the close-up, let me know that so I can pace myself so I’m not blowing my wad on the two-shot. You know what I mean? So, you kind of want to know what they’re thinking about the architecture of how they’re going to build the scene. Because, I’ll speak for me, I’ve only got, like, four or five good takes in me for a big emotional thing. After that, I mean, maybe I’ll come back to something, but always, the first one’s not going to be my best, maybe not the second — I aim for three. Number three.
PETERS: That’s something I learned from him because last year, you were having that same conversation about a particular scene. I thought, “I’ve never thought about that.” Because coming from theater, you just do it, you just do it. I’m not worried about pacing. But that is something I learned from you. Thank you. Because recently, I had a big scene, and I was thinking, “I really want to mine that, but I don’t want to blow my wad, so to speak, to begin with,” and that conversation came back, so thank you. What he said. Definitely.
DAVIS: If it’s a big scene, I don’t like to rehearse it too much. I don’t want to just say the words without acting in a rehearsal, but I don’t want to go there, also. So, the less practice, the better for an important scene like that.

Inside Adam Driver’s Net Worth
Actor Adam Driver may have gotten his start on the HBO comedy “Girls,” but it’s really his work on “Star Wars” that made him a household name. The actor first appeared as Kylo Ren/Ben Solo in 2015’s “The Force Awakens,” 2017’s “The Last Jedi,” and 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.” Although he pitched another film to Disney, top execs shut the project down, as they apparently didn’t see how Ben Solo could still be alive. Throughout his career, the U.S. Marine Corps veteran has earned three Emmy nominations, two Academy Award nominations, and even a Tony nomination. Earlier this year, he appeared in James Gray’s critically acclaimed “Paper Tiger,” which may earn him yet another Oscar nom.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the “Megalopolis” actor is worth $23 million, which puts him ahead of his “Star Wars” costars. According to the website, Oscar Isaac is worth $12 million, Daisy Ridley is worth $9 million, and John Boyega is worth $8 million. Shockingly, Anthony Daniels, who has appeared in every “Star Wars” movie to date – mostly as C-3PO, is also only worth $8 million.
Of course, his net worth is nothing compared to his on-screen father, Harrison Ford, who has an impressive net worth of $350 million thanks to his long career and his work in the “Indiana Jones” franchise. Mark Hamill, who famously portrayed Luke Skywalker, is actually worth less than Adam Driver – his net worth comes in at only $20 million.
How Adam Driver Got His Start

The actor was born in San Diego, California, in November 1983, but later relocated to Mishawaka, Indiana. He graduated from high school in 2001 and worked as a door-to-door salesman selling vacuum cleaners until 9/11, which prompted him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. After serving for three years, his unit was deployed to Iraq.
Unfortunately, he broke his sternum while mountain biking and was medically discharged before he left the country. He then studied at the University of Indianapolis for a year before transferring to Juilliard, where he studied drama. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009.
Driver Got His Start On The HBO Comedy Girls

While studying at Juilliard, he met his now-wife, Joanne Tucker, who is also an actress. Upon graduating, the couple decided to stay in New York City. He appeared in several Broadway and Off-Broadway productions and worked as a waiter to pay the bills. He made his first feature film appearance in Clint Eastwood’s “J. Edgar” and his first TV appearance in an episode of “The Unusuals,” before he was cast on Lena Dunham’s HBO comedy “Girls.”
Driver played the role from 2012 to 2017 and was nominated for three Emmys for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his work. He worked with major A-listers, like Daniel Day-Lewis and Tommy Lee Jones, in the 2012 film “Lincoln” before appearing in other movies like “Hungry Hearts” and “Inside Llewyn Davis,” which starred his future “Star Wars” co-star, Oscar Isaac.
‘Star Wars’ The Actor’s Big Break

In 2015, Driver became a household name for portraying the main villain in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy. He played the role of Ben Solo, the son of Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo, who fell to the dark side. After reprising the role in 2017’s “The Last Jedi,” his character was redeemed – and ultimately died – in 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker,” seemingly putting an end to the Skywalker bloodline.
Although the film was met with controversy, many praised Driver’s acting. After appearing in Martin Scorsese’s “Silence” and Jim Jarmusch’s “Paterson,” he began to face more recognition for his roles. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2018’s “BlacKkKlansman” and a nomination for an Oscar for Best Actor for his role in 2019’s “Marriage Story” opposite Scarlett Johansson.
Driver Has 7 Projects Currently In Development

Earlier this year, Driver’s acting was praised in James Gray’s “Paper Tiger” when it made its debut at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. He is rumored to be starring in the sequel to “Heat,” and will also be reuniting with Kenneth Longergan on “Tomorrow Is A Drag.” Lonergan previously worked with Driver on the off-Broadway play “Hold On to Me Darling.”
As The Blast previously reported, he has also been tapped to star in a new Netflix series called “Rabbit, Rabbit.” Driver will also be an executive producer on the series, which will be directed by Emmy winner Philip Barantini of “Adolescence” fame.
He has also been tapped to star in the art-world drama “The Dealer” at Apple TV, opposite “Scenes From A Marriage” actress Jessica Chastain. Among his many projects, Driver will also appear in “Alone at Dawn,” opposite Anne Hathaway.
The film, directed by Ron Howard, is based on the book of the same name by Dan Schilling and Lori Chapman Longfritz and is inspired by a true story. The novel tells the story of Air Force Combat Controller John Chapman’s fight to the death to save his fellow soldiers, and the subsequent investigation that ultimately earned him a Medal of Honor.
Will Adam Driver Ever Return To ‘Star Wars’?

Many fans are also hoping that he will return as Ben Solo in some way, potentially as a Force Ghost, in a future “Star Wars” project.
The next Lucasfilm film to revisit the timeline after the events of “The Rise of Skywalker” is “Star Wars: Starfighter,” which will hit theaters on May 28, 2027. Although it is a standalone film, fans are still crossing their fingers!

Karmelo Anthony’s New Booking Photo Released After Prison Transfer
Following his conviction and sentencing, Karmelo Anthony was transferred from county jail into the Texas state prison system, where he will begin serving his 35-year sentence in connection with the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf. Officials processed the 19-year-old into state custody on Wednesday morning and released a new booking photo taken after his arrival. The updated image shows Anthony with a shaved head and wearing a sleeveless prison-issued tunic. According to reports, he spent Tuesday night in county jail following the jury’s verdict before authorities transferred him to the Wallace Pack Unit near Houston the next day.
Anthony’s move to state prison comes shortly after a jury convicted him of murder in the death of Metcalf, who was fatally stabbed during an altercation at a track meet in Frisco, Texas. The transfer marks the beginning of Anthony’s prison sentence as the case continues to generate discussion and as post-conviction legal proceedings, including his previously reported notice of appeal, move forward.
Commenters Weigh In On Anthony’s Latest Update
Roommates quickly filled up The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section after news of Karmelo Anthony’s transfer to state prison began circulating. While some users felt the legal process moved unusually fast and shared concerns about how quickly events unfolded following the verdict, others emphasized the importance of understanding state laws and procedures. Meanwhile, many commenters focused on Anthony’s well-being, offering prayers and expressing hopes for his safety as he begins serving his sentence.
One Instagram user @tay_stevie shared, “All of this is just seem to be happening too fast. The jurors was Just finalized last week. The verdict read this week in a matter of 3 hours. Now we’re seeing his mugshot 24hrs later. This is a lot for us.“
And, Instagram user @__itsher__ added, “This pic don’t seem right bc it’s giving off slave and it’s upsetting me“
This Instagram user @zenokeylan claimed, “…it is what it is gotta kno ya laws“
Meanwhile, Instagram user @imqueendiamond wrote, “Sending a baby to prison for defending himself is so sad 💔”
While Instagram user @1frankjordon said, “Dis sh*t moving faster than Mexican music“
Lastly, Instagram user @_renerenee added, “How tf he go to TDCJ already ?????? They usually take forever to catch chain wtf“
Wait, Didn’t We Just See His Mugshot?
If it feels like Karmelo Anthony’s mugshot was just making headlines, that’s because it was. Shortly after a jury convicted Anthony and a judge sentenced him to 35 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf, a new booking photo taken at the Collin County Jail began circulating online. The image showed Anthony with a noticeably shorter haircut than the one seen throughout trial proceedings, as he posed with a neutral expression while wearing black clothing before his subsequent transfer into the Texas prison system.

Young and Restless Early Spoilers June 15-19: Nikki Shocked by Betrayal & Adam Paranoid
Young and the Restless weekly spoilers for June 15th through the 19th, including Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) getting a triple blindside on matters of health, family, and business.
Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is particularly paranoid about a certain villain’s redemption. So, as we do on early edition day, we’ll begin with what’s going on the rest of this week and then get into what is going on next week.
Y&R: Wednesday & Thursday – Shadow Room Launch and Family Updates
So, on Wednesday, June 10th, we have got Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) meeting Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) over at the Shadow Room and she’s happy to remind him she’s her date and he’s very pleased. Then Lily asks about Cane’s chat with Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and he says that he told him that he loves Lily and he says Malcolm wasn’t thrilled about that.
And Lily reveals she also told Malcolm that she is appointing Cane as CEO of Chancellor. She talks to Cane about wanting to announce it tonight, but Cane says, “Don’t prod Victoria.” And then we’ve got Cane reminding Lily that a bunch of other people are going to be bothered by him being her CEO. But Lily doesn’t care. She figures he’s talking about Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). And she’s like, “Don’t care what they think.”
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Danny Romalotti Retires
Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) show up to the launch. Daniel’s worried that Danny was snatched by Patty since he seemed to fall off the radar. And then Daniel brings up Patty trying to kill Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), but it turns out Danny just missed a flight. And then he tells Daniel and Christine he’s done touring. He’s done with the rockstar life. He’s going to stick around Genoa City.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) tells Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) that she likes him with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). And we’ve got Noah smooth talking around the club while Sienna is tending bar, but she’s overwhelmed because some of the staff didn’t show up. Danny talks about what he’s going to do with his free time. And Christine and Daniel tease him he won’t last two months retired. And then Danny notices that Sienna is working alone and seems overwhelmed. So he actually goes to help behind the bar and she’s thrilled to have a rockstar back there.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily & Cane Heat Up
Daniel and Christine talk about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And Daniel is a little let down that his mom didn’t wind up facing any consequences. But interestingly, Christine thinks Phyllis did learn something from all this. And she actually encourages Daniel to check in on his mom.
Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) says that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) seems hung up about what happened at the old Shadow Room in LA. And then Claire and Holden join Lily and Cane. And Holden thanks Cane again for saving Malcolm. Then we’ve got Holden and Claire dancing and getting romantic. And then Cane and Lily go dance as well. And Cane kisses her and it’s all fireworks. Danny goes to dance with Christine and Noah drops back behind the bar to check on Sienna and help her. And she decides she’s really excited about the new Shadow Room.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nate Reconsiders Medicine
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) finds Nate in Crimson Lights and he asks if she was at the club opening, judging by her fancy dress. Audra says it’s not her scene. Nate wonders if somebody annoyed her and Audra says the bartender was really bad. Obviously, that’s Sienna. They talk about Malcolm’s recovery and Audra asks if Nate misses being a doctor and he says it has been on his mind lately. Audra asks if surgery could fix Nate’s hand, would he himself return to being a surgeon?
But he says he likes working with his family and Audra tells him she’s sorry about conspiring with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and hurting him. Nate says Audra seems to have changed for the better and he hopes it sticks. She tells Nate that he sounded more excited talking about medicine versus a corporate meeting at Winters. He takes off, but then he’s thinking about Devon assaulting him and injuring his hand.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) finds Audra after that chat with Nate and talks about encouraging him to go back to medicine. And Sally likes the idea of Audra with Nate instead of her chasing Noah. But Audra insists it’s not like that. She just thinks Noah could do better.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam Feeling Low
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) finds Adam brooding and he says he tried to talk to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but it blew up. Adam finds all the hate tiring and he also doesn’t like Chelsea taking Billy’s side on some things. Adam is worried it is going to affect his and Chelsea’s relationship.
And Adam compares it to Nikki being friends with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and how that messed up things with her and Victor. Chelsea’s proud that Adam’s trying to make peace and he said he brought up Delilah and that got really complicated. Chelsea reminds Adam that he should just walk away if anything ever gets heated between him and Billy.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Nikki join Chelsea and Adam. And then we have Nikki saying that she can’t reach Victor. She’s worried because a tornado hit the club where he was speaking in Maryland. And then bam, Victor walks in and says he left right after his speech when he heard there was a tornado coming. I don’t know how you take off when there’s bad storms like that, but okay, it’s a soap opera.
And Nikki asks about the other people at the event. Victor says he sent some of his people to help with rescue efforts and he’s sure everyone, including Jack, will be fine. And then Victor says that’s who he thinks Nikki was really worried about. Then he walks off and leaves Chelsea, Adam, Nick, and Nikki with their jaws dropped.
Y&R: Friday – Victor’s Cryptic Comments and Nikki’s Health Concerns
Thursday, June 11th, Victor’s latest business move stuns the family. So, this may be with word spreading about him giving Chancellor to Lily, unless he’s going to make a big Newman CEO announcement. Even though Nikki didn’t think she’d be back to run Chancellor because of their split, she’ll still be stunned. Nick and Adam already know, but Victoria just found out and didn’t find out from her dad, so she’s super ticked.
Nikki is with Nick as he struggles to stay clean. So Nikki is going with him. Looks like it might be an NA meeting, a narcotics anonymous meeting with Nick and she’s right there with him. She’s been there, you know, she’s been to plenty of AA meetings on her own. So we also have Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) opening up to Nate and sharing a secret.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Blasts Nikki
Then on Friday, June 12th, Victor puts Nikki on the spot about her health. Victoria may have told Victor about Nikki’s really bad headaches, or Victor may see Nikki struggling with a debilitating headache. But after his Jack snark, I don’t think Nikki is going to want to open up to him.
Adam’s keeping a very close eye on Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who is asking Victor when they’re going to get started on this Cane plan, and Victor says they will begin soon.
Phyllis reaches out to Summer. Hopefully, this means we’re going to get her back to Genoa City. Also this week, Phyllis brings Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) up to speed on the fact that she gave Newman back to Victor.

Y&R: June 15th-19th – Victor’s Plans and Nikki’s Diagnosis
Then the week of June 15th through the 19th, Victor’s plan for Matt to spy on Cane kicks into high gear, but Victor’s tactics may change once he finds out Lily appointed Cane as CEO of Chancellor. Obviously, that’s going to infuriate Victor. Also, quick note, if you watch the Beyond the Gates crossover, the timing on the two shows is off with one story line.
So on Beyond the Gates, Diane is there with Jack and Kyle and Diane and Jack seem happy and reconciled. But over in Genoa City, Diane is still missing and a private eye is searching for her. But then Victor is on the right timeline. So I don’t know why Y&R didn’t do a better job with aligning the timelines and resolving the Diane stuff on Young and the Restless since she’s over on Beyond the Gates doing just fine.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Rough Road Ahead for Nick
Nick’s going to face some stumbling blocks during recovery. It’s not going to be a simple, oh, he’s at meetings, he’s going to rehab, and he stays clean. Bold and Beautiful Early Spoilers June 15-19: Steffy Grows Suspicious as Wyatt Investigates
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for June 15th through the 19th where we will see Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) suspicions grow and she is grilling Katie Logan (Heather Tom) for answers. Plus, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) owes an answer to his dad and has to do some more digging to find a diamond.
Let’s get into what is coming the week of June 15th. And as we always do on early edition day, we start with what is going on the rest of this week and then we will dive into all the good stuff coming up next week.
Bold and the Beautiful: Wednesday & Thursday – Behind the Curtains and Design Previews
So, on Wednesday, June 10th, during the mini preview for the Hope Logan collection, we’re going to see Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) kind of off to the sides behind the curtains, backstage, peeking onto the runway, watching the models walk and Hope take notes on Deke’s designs. So, it looks like they may be intentionally staying out of sight, or maybe that’s just where they want to be. But I kind of feel like it’s intentional. Katie, on the other hand, is in the middle of the action, loving the designs.
She’s standing right at the end of the runway watching the strut and she is all smiles about everything she is seeing. And from the outfits I’ve seen, they’re really youthful. They’re really cute. And I guess it’s pretty fortunate for Katie and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that even after Steffy made Hope fire him, Deke never stopped designing. Even while he was working for his dad at Il Giardino, Deke was still sketching, designing, and dreaming. So, he had a portfolio ready to go.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Hope & Katie Headed for Trouble
We also know that Hope and Katie are going to be in so much trouble. Because Hope is lying to her mom, Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) face, and for Katie making that intentionally dodgy deal about not hiring Forrester when she has hired a Spencer at Logan. But, you know, she is definitely not a Forrester. Hope’s not. Also, Dylan is worried that her job at Forrester Creations could be at risk.
You know, maybe it’s about dating R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) and knowing how much he loves to get people fired like he did. Will. I also bet Dylan would think twice about going out with R.J. if she found out that R.J. demanded that she be fired. If you don’t recall, Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) and R.J. They went together to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and demanded that he fire both Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Dylan. Because their presence at Forrester Creations as platonic roommates might stress Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) out. The only other issue could be if there’s a problem with the perfume line since Dylan now works for Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire).
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Hope Let Down
On Thursday, June 11th, Hope is disappointed by some news that she gets. It could be feedback on her and Deke’s designs. Or maybe Brooke tells Hope that Katie called her a dirty little secret. Or it could be that Steffy’s pushing back on her leave of absence because they never finished that conversation. Bold and the Beautiful just kind of abandoned it midway through.
Singer Fanny Grayson (Elsa Esnoult) is back on Bold and the Beautiful as a French fashion enthusiast this week. She’s been around for a lot of big Forrester Creations fashion events before. She was at the Eric versus Ridge fashion showdown when we had that not that long ago. So, I’m curious to see if she’s a friend of Daphne since they’re both from France. I’m wondering if Fanny gets an invite from Katie to preview the new collection with no name attached or if she’s supposed to be over at Forrester looking at Eric’s new couture designs.
B&B Spoilers: RJ Sparks Ridge’s Curiosity
Ridge thinks R.J. might be seeing somebody else now that Electra is completely with Will. It looked to me like R.J. and Dylan were hanging out. Because they’re both single and can’t mingle with the person they want. I didn’t necessarily feel any romance or sparks. I saw no fireworks and no real chemistry between R.J. and Dylan.
Just a lot of sadness. Also, even if R.J. does end up dating Dylan romantically, I don’t think he’ll stop being fixated on Electra. Because I um I thought R.J. initially was being more respectful about Will and Electra on the recent episode. But that could change. However, there’s also a chance that Brad Bell could just wimp out and the rivalry is already dead and over and the four of them, Will, Electra, R.J. and Dylan may wind up chill and just double dating.
Bold and the Beautiful: Friday – Steffy’s Interrogation and Remy’s Discovery
Friday, June 12th, Katie’s in the hot seat when Steffy demands answers. So, I am wondering if she might have followed Hope and saw her over at the Spencer Tower, which isn’t that big of a deal since her husband Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) works there. But Steffy may doubt the flimsy excuse that Hope gave about her reasons to take a leave of absence.
Or if Fanny was over at Logan, Steffy might rant at Katie about that. Steffy may be on fire about Katie poaching some of the influencers who forced her invites to their events. However, if that is what Steffy is on about, Katie may tell her that wasn’t part of the deal she made with Brooke. And that is literally true. It was only a ban on Forrester Spencer hirings across companies.
Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) is shocked to discover something. So, he’s visiting Deke over at his little apartment above Il Giardino. And Remy is wowed with Deacon’s latest design. So Remy’s flipping through Deacon’s sketches and then we’ve got Remy gushing about how he can’t believe Deke is Logan’s new designer. And Remy says Deke has leveled up in the fashion world.
I wonder if Remy’s flattery works and Deke is going to consider taking Remy back. I also wonder if we find out that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is the one sharing living space with Remy and he’s her new roommate or maybe Li Finnegan. And I also really hope that Remy doesn’t mention that to Dylan, that Deke is the new designer. Because that’s a line from him, right to Hope, right to problems.

Bold and the Beautiful: June 15th-19th – The Diamond Hunt and Collection Launch
The week of June 15th through the 19th, Wyatt owes Liam and Bill an answer about coming to Logan and an update on getting his hands on the real gem. Last I recall, Wyatt was the legal owner of the Hope for the Future diamond. But then he gifted it to Hope when they got married. But then that marriage didn’t last that long. Wyatt and Hope broke up. And I remember there was some back and forth on you keep it, no, you keep it. So, it should be in Wyatt or Hope’s hands if they’re sticking to actual known Bold and the Beautiful history.
Bill’s upset about Brooke slapping Katie and I think he’s going to double down on his big blue hope diamond plot to make sure that the next Logan launch is an epic smash that is just right in Forrester’s face. Team Logan with Bill, Katie, Hope, Liam, and Deacon are busy rushing out the launch, hoping to blindside Forrester Creations with Hope being their next big thing. I’m also really curious to see what showstopper that Deke designs to go with that big blue diamond.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Hope & Deke Thrilled
Deke and Hope are enjoying working together. They’re excited to see their work on the runway in front of buyers. I will say that she was annoyed when Steffy fired Deke. And replaced him with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz). Then those two didn’t deliver what Hope wanted for her line. Now these designs are very different. So I do like them. We’ll see if R.J. and Dylan have an official date soon and if R.J. really is backing off and respecting Electra and Will’s relationship. We’ll see about that.
Remy’s going to keep worming his way closer to Deke desperate to win his ex-boyfriend back. There may be some legal recourse coming over Katie poaching Hope from Forrester Creations and this whole leave of absence thing. Brooke and Ridge continue to smack talk Logan. Certain that Katie’s fashion house is circling the drain and that Katie and Bill are going to be eating crow before too long.
Hopefully, we’ll see more of Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Because Deke and Hope need to tell their dad that they are both working together over at Logan. We are also way overdue on an update on Daphne and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) baby making project and on what Sheila Carter been up to.

‘The Acolyte’s Manny Jacinto Officially Breaks Silence on The Stranger’s Return Under Dave Filoni
Star Wars fans have been treated to a few exciting projects this year, starting with the latest animated Disney+ series, Maul — Shadow Lord. The show was a hit with critics and audiences, earning near-perfect review scores and a Season 2 renewal on its way to dominating streaming charts for weeks on end as new episodes came out two at a time. Star Wars fans have since been heading back to the theater to watch the franchise’s first movie on the big screen since 2019 with The Mandalorian and Grogu. Unfortunately, despite mostly positive reviews from audiences, the film is well on its way to being the lowest-grossing Star Wars movie in history, possibly even less than Solo. Plenty of Star Wars fans around the world have their theories about why The Mandalorian and Grogu is struggling to make the jump to hyperspace at the box office, but one of the most popular theories is the over-saturation of content from the franchise in recent years.
There have been plenty of Star Wars shows on Disney+ that have made the franchise more accessible to fans around the world, but one of the most unique entries came back in 2024 with The Acolyte. The show was the first live-action Star Wars project set outside the confines of the Skywalker Saga, even taking place hundreds of years before The Phantom Menace. The Acolyte received strong reviews, and it performed well on streaming, but it was tragically canceled after one season. This hasn’t stopped fans from continuing to demand a revival, though.
One of The Acolyte’s brightest stars was Manny Jacinto, who played the mysterious Dark Side Force user, Qimir aka The Stranger, the apprentice of Darth Plagueis. Collider’s Maggie Lovitt recently attended a panel for Jacinto at the Indiana Comic Convention, where he was asked what he would say if new LucasFilm CEO Dave Filoni asked him to return. “Oh, yeah,” Jacinto responded immediately, before swiftly crediting The Acolyte writer and creator Leslye Headland, “I mean, there is no Stranger without Leslye Headland. Again, it’s the people that helped build this character — it’s not just me. It’s the costume designers, our writers, all that stuff. It took a team to build Qimir, to build the Stranger. I’d love to work with them again as well,” he said, referring to the entire Acolyte team.
What Is ‘The Acolyte’ About?
The Acolyte is set during the golden age of the Jedi during the High Republic, and it follows Osha (played by Amandla Stenberg), a former Jedi padawan who is roped back into her former life when a series of murders tie her back to her twin sister. Part of what made The Acolyte’s cancellation so painful was that there was a clear plan for more seasons. The show briefly introduced the Stranger’s master, Darth Plagueis, who was also the master of Darth Sidious, aka Emperor Palpatine. Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae also had a key role in The Acolyte as Master Sol.
Check out the first season of The Acolyte and stay tuned to Collider for more Star Wars updates and coverage.

So it was small.”
Crockett Weighs In On Anthony Sentencing Debate
Crockett also raised broader reflections on how different observers interpreted the confrontation. At points in the episode, the conversation also explored how individuals assess threat, intent, and proportional response during physical altercations. Court records and prior reporting state that Anthony used a 5-inch semi-serrated pocket knife during an altercation at a track meet that resulted in fatal injuries to Metcalf.
She further added, “Well, I would argue the size of it alone, you wouldn’t even think it’s a deadly weapon.” Crockett later broadened the conversation to general self-defense scenarios, stating, “If a 300-pound man is beating me, like on top of me and beating me down, I’m not limited to fists.” Furthermore, the discussion continued around how individuals interpret threat and response during physical confrontations.
