Timothée Chalamet And Kylie Jenner Steal Knicks Night

Published

on

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet could barely contain their excitement as the New York Knicks punched their ticket to the NBA Finals for the first time in nearly three decades.

The celebrity couple turned Madison Square Garden into their own romantic backdrop Monday night, celebrating the historic victory with courtside kisses, embraces, and animated reactions throughout the intense matchup.

While Chalamet soaked in the emotional sports milestone, Jenner appeared just as invested in the action, cheering loudly beside her boyfriend during the unforgettable evening.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were front and center as the Knicks secured a long-awaited trip to the NBA Finals after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The pair erupted with excitement the moment the final result became official, immediately embracing courtside before sharing a passionate kiss in front of the roaring crowd.

The win marked the Knicks’ first appearance in the NBA championship series since 1999, making the atmosphere inside the arena electric.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed Jenner wrapping her arms around Chalamet as the actor celebrated his beloved team’s major milestone.

Throughout the game, the beauty mogul kept her focus firmly on the court, at times appearing even more emotionally invested in the nail-biting matchup than the “Dune” star himself.

Jenner also leaned fully into the basketball spirit for the occasion, rocking a blue Knicks T-shirt while cheering beside her boyfriend.

The reality star paired the sporty top with blue denim pants, black heels, and a black Chanel bag, blending casual style with courtside glamour.

Jenner Continues Supporting Chalamet’s Basketball Obsession

Kylie Jenner has attended several basketball games with Chalamet in recent weeks, embracing the 30-year-old’s deep love for the Knicks.

Monday’s outing was simply the latest stop in what has become a recurring courtside routine for the couple.

Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet matched the laid-back energy in a vintage-inspired black leather jacket embroidered with New York’s logo. As the game intensified, cameras repeatedly caught the pair laughing, celebrating, and whispering to each other from their premium seats.

Later in the evening, the duo’s excitement reached another level as they animatedly celebrated beside “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan.

The courtside reactions quickly circulated online, with fans obsessing over the affectionate moments between the Oscar nominee and the Kylie Cosmetics founder.

The latest outing also comes shortly after Jenner and Chalamet packed on the PDA during another Knicks game earlier this month when New York faced the Philadelphia 76ers.

During that appearance, the lovebirds shared multiple kisses while taking brief breaks from watching the action unfold on the court.

Kylie Jenner Faced Met Gala Buzz After Timothée Chalamet Stayed Away

Despite Jenner’s unwavering support at Chalamet’s basketball outings, the “Marty Supreme” actor recently faced criticism online after skipping the Met Gala while Jenner attended alone.

Rather than joining his girlfriend at fashion’s biggest night, Chalamet chose to stay focused on the NBA playoffs and watch the Knicks instead.

Jenner walked the Met Gala carpet solo in a dramatic flesh-colored Schiaparelli gown featuring a nipple-teasing bodice, while her man spent the evening courtside.

On social media, the actor made no mention of the glamorous event and instead posted a photo of his baby blue Adidas Samba sneakers from the basketball game.

The decision divided social media users. Some praised Chalamet’s choice as relatable and authentic, while others believed he should have supported Jenner during one of the fashion industry’s biggest nights.

The debate only intensified because that was not the first time Chalamet skipped the Met Gala in favor of basketball.

This year’s Met Gala marked the second consecutive year Kylie Jenner attended the event without Timothée Chalamet by her side.

Last year, the Oscar nominee also skipped the high-profile fashion event to watch the Knicks play, fueling ongoing chatter about his priorities whenever basketball season collides with celebrity obligations.

Still, Jenner has consistently shown support for Chalamet’s interests, particularly his loyalty to the New York franchise.

Their relationship has continued growing steadily over the years, with the pair now dating for more than three years.

After keeping much of their romance relatively private in the beginning, Jenner and Chalamet officially stepped into the spotlight together when they made their red carpet debut at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in May 2025.

Since then, the couple has become increasingly comfortable showing affection publicly, whether at glamorous award ceremonies or intense playoff games.

Kylie Jenner’s ‘Jealousy’ Nearly Derailed Romance With Timothée Chalamet

Although Jenner and Chalamet appear all lovey-dovey, recent reports suggest that the socialite nearly lost the actor due to jealousy and trust issues that created major tension behind the scenes of their relationship.

According to The Blast, insiders claimed Jenner initially struggled with Chalamet’s need for independence and became uncomfortable with the amount of time he spent away filming movies and maintaining friendships outside their romance.

One source alleged the reality TV star “wanted to be around him all the time,” which reportedly made Chalamet feel “claustrophobic.”

The insider added that Chalamet eventually became direct about needing more personal space, leading to serious friction between the pair during late 2025 while he filmed “Dune: Part Three” overseas and promoted “Marty Supreme.”

Reports also claimed Jenner’s insecurities intensified whenever Chalamet spent long periods away working, though the couple allegedly worked through the issues by improving communication and becoming more private about their relationship.

‘Anyone But You’ Meets ‘The Purge’ in New Image From Callum Turner’s Wild New Rom-Com

Published

on

One-Night-Only-watermark

Nearly three years ago, rom-com aficionado Will Gluck struck gold with his sizzling spin on Shakespeare, Anyone but You. Carried by the chemistry of its magnetic stars, Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney, it became an unexpected global phenomenon, earning $220 million globally and becoming the highest-grossing live-action adaptation of The Bard’s work ever to hit theaters. Now, the writer-director is looking to see if lightning can strike twice with an even wilder premise that invokes The Purge. Ahead of its arrival in August, we’re excited to feature One Night Only as part of Collider’s Exclusive Summer Preview series, and we can share a new image highlighting the central romance between Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro on the steamiest night of the year.

Our exclusive still shows the A Complete Unknown and Masters of the Air stars opposite each other in apparently matching vehicles, leaning out of their respective windows for a cute little moment as Barbaro reaches out her hand. From the looks on their faces, their chance encounter has sparked something special that viewers will get to see unfold across one chaotic evening in a slightly fictionalized New York. The duo plays Allie and Owen, love-starved strangers who are looking for something more. One is a hopeful romantic, and the other is still recovering from a break-up, yet despite the clear connection between them, everything seems to keep getting in their way. It’s fitting that they’re in separate cars, signaling how, despite being so close in the bustling city, they remain so far from each other.

The rub of One Night Only is that it takes place in a world where single people are only legally allowed one night a year to hook up with one another. That leaves Allie and Owen as outliers at a time when everyone in the city is scrambling to take advantage of the opportunity. Amid the hustle and bustle, however, one misstep and detour after another conspires to keep them separated, pulling them towards and away from each other throughout the evening. Yet, in their attempts to link up, they may discover that exactly what they’ve been looking for has been much closer than they could’ve imagined when they take a moment to reflect.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

Who Else Is Coming Out for ‘One Night Only’?

One-Night-Only-watermark

The chemistry between Turner and Barbaro will be what makes the magic for One Night Only, but the cast is also stacked with talent. Joining them in the high-concept rom-com are Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, King Princess, Ben Marshall, Ziwe, Molly Ringwald, Nicholas Braun, and LeVar Burton. Gluck penned his script based on an original screenplay by Travis Braun, whose original work topped the 2024 Black List. In an interview with Collider’s Michael Zimmerman, the two leads attested to how Gluck, with his wealth of experience in the genre, helped elevate the project to new heights. Turner recalled how the writer-director spurred the actors to get creative and experiment, making something both more organic and freeing to be a part of.

“I agree entirely, and Will Gluck, I think, is the third piece of that jigsaw where, you know, you’re getting to work with someone who is brilliant in this world, in every world. But in this world in particular, you know, Friends With Benefits and Easy A and Anyone but You. I love those movies now. And I’ve watched them over and over. So to get to be in a movie that he’s making is a gift. And to watch him work, and he’s kind of like an adrenaline junkie, man. Like you had the script and we did two weeks of rehearsals, and we like, fine-tuned things and rewrote things, and then you get to set and he would say let’s mix it up, and so we try different things and we remold a scene, and it was really exhilarating for me, I’m sure for you, too. A safe space to fall on your face and try stupid things. It was an incredibly liberating experience for me.”

One Night Only arrives in theaters on August 7. Check out our exclusive new image above and stay tuned here at Collider throughout the rest of the week for more new looks at upcoming films from our summer preview series.

Jennifer Lopez Squeezes Into Her 2001 Lace-Up Jeans For Trend

Published

on

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez showed that she’s still got her svelte figure from more than two decades ago, rocking a pair of lace-up jean pants she wore in the 2001 “Ain’t It Funny” video.

Fans couldn’t believe it as many took to social media to gush over her well-maintained shape and ageless glow.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez continues to spark relationship rumors with her “Office Romance” co-star Brett Goldstein, as he left her wowed with his near-perfect knowledge of her movies.

Lopez teamed up with actress Mika Abdalla to recreate a famous scene from Amazon Prime’s “Off Campus,” where the younger actress shows up in a green dress that looks like the one Lopez wore to the Grammy Awards in 2000.

In the video, the mother of two wears figure-hugging denim jeans with a white crop top, while Abdalla is seen wearing a baggy pair of jeans with a brown crop top.

“I don’t know her personally, but I’m pretty sure that’s Jlo,” Abdalla lip-syncs to a voiceover audio of co-star Khobe Clarke’s line from the movie.

The camera then pans to Lopez, who lip-syncs Abdalla’s character,  Allie Hayes’s line, saying, “Oh my God, this is me. Now,”

They then hugged each other before dancing to the singer’s 2011 hit “Get On The Floor.”

“It’s a new Jeneration of party people…” the “Hustlers” actress captioned the clip.

However, an eagle-eyed fan pointed out that her pants are “insane,” to which she revealed, “They’re the same ones from that video.”

Fans Praise The Pop Star For Her Stunning Physique

Aside from the fact that she has been able to maintain her banging body over the years, several fans were left stunned as to how she looked even better.

“Being able to wear the same pair of jeans from 20 years ago is such a flex. Mother behavior,” an X user wrote in the comments, while another added, “Wait whaaaaat they lasted all this time?”

“You look the same as you did when you were 20!” one fan said.

Someone else wrote, “You’re the biggest proof that age is just a number, queen.”

“Oh QueenLo, you are aging like the finest wine,” another fan gushed.

Sources Dispel Jennifer Lopez’s Dating Rumors With ‘Office Romance’ Co-Star

Lopez has been promoting her upcoming Netflix movie “Office Romance” featuring co-star Brett Goldstein, ahead of its premiere on June 5th.

The pair had sparked romance rumors after she praised him for being the best kisser she’d ever worked with, as well as going on a Broadway date night in New York City.

However, reports suggest it’s all just for show to drum up buzz for the film and push Goldstein into a “leading man status.”

“Jennifer and Brett are not dating or romantically involved at all,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

“They think it’s actually really funny that people are suggesting they are [dating], and they’re going with it because they’re both really excited for Office Romance to come out,” the source continued.

The “Ted Lasso” actor, however, seems smitten by the “Maid In Manhattan” actress as he gushed over her appearance in “Hustlers,” during a 2018 episode of his podcast, “Films to Be Buried With.”

In a recent interview shared by Netflix, he left her stunned with his near-perfect knowledge of her movies like “Maid in Manhattan,” “Selena,” and “Hustlers,” answering nearly all questions posed to him.

A second source who spoke to the Daily Mail noted that they may not be dating, but Lopez doesn’t mind playing make-believe to elevate his star power.

“Brett is a star, but he isn’t a leading man that everyone knows about and cares about,” the second insider said. “This movie he is doing with Jen, it is her job to make him, and she is taking on that position to heart. She wants him to be the next big thing.”

The Singer’s Relationship With Brett Goldstein Is ‘Nothing More Than A Showmance’

Speaking further on the romance rumors, the source noted that Lopez and Goldstein are both aware of the romance rumors and leaning into them for the sake of their movie.

They continued, “If the movie is received well and he also gets the shine from ‘being in a relationship’ with J-Lo, it shows that he is important and on his way to leading man status. As much as there is chemistry, they are also playing the game to make him into something he isn’t yet.”

“She will take the attention it brings, and she will gladly give him some shine, but it is currently nothing more than a showmance for them over a romance,” the insider added.

West Wilson Addresses Ciara’s Reaction to Amanda Romance

Published

on

Ciara Miller and. West Wilson Timeline

Summer House’s West Wilson is addressing ex Ciara Miller’s intense reaction to his newfound romance with costar Amanda Batula.

West, 31, was quizzed about how Ciara has taken the news by his “Show Me Something” cohost Sophie Cunningham on the Monday, May 25, episode of their podcast. West dated Ciara for several months in 2023 before calling it quits. They appeared to be getting close again last summer, as documented on Summer House season 10, which is currently airing on Bravo.

But the Summer House cast and viewers alike were left shocked in March when West and Amanda, 34, confirmed they were seeing one another. (Amanda announced her split from husband Kyle Cooke, 43, in January.)

“This is probably me totally being mean, but did you ever get to tell Ciara, like, ‘Dude, we were not dating?’” Sophie asked West on Monday.

West Wilson and Ciara Miller quickly caught each other’s eyes during Summer House season 8. The season was filmed during summer 2023, but fans didn’t get an inside look into their relationship until episodes hit Bravo starting in February 2024. Things between West and Ciara were hot and heavy in the beginning — but they […]

West responded, “The last two months, I’ve been in such, like, survival mode that I haven’t really taken a lot of time to process s***. I was just trying to survive and keep it moving and stay distracted. I kind of have run out of steam the last few weeks. I’ve had a lot of time to think and reflect.”

“I know a lot of people’s feelings are hurt, especially Ciara and Kyle. No s***,” he continued. “Even though there’s so much gray area up for interpretation, at least with Ciara and I … the end of summer, we were canoodling again. I told Ben [Waddell] I wasn’t trying to be a boyfriend or whatever. I think it’s still a shock to the system and people feel betrayed. I’m not trying to convince anyone that their feelings don’t matter.”

West and Amanda were confronted about their relationship by their fellow castmates during the Summer House season 10 reunion, which filmed in April and is set to begin airing Tuesday, May 26, on Bravo.

In a teaser clip from the three-part reunion, Ciara, 30, can be heard telling Amanda, “He wants to embarrass me. He wants to get his last little word. And I hope it works, because he’s with you to spite me.”

On Monday’s podcast, West denied that was the case.

“I was a deer in the headlights for a lot of it,” he said of filming the reunion. “I was just like, why is that something I would ever do? That’s the thing with this reality TV s***. So many people interpret things differently. If I tried to fight everyone’s different opinion on s*** I’ve done, I would be f***ing dead and on the floor. It’s just not worth reacting to s*** like that. But [that’s] obviously not the case.”

West also said that he attempted to clarify the timeline of his relationship with Amanda at the reunion amid speculation that they were getting close while filming season 10 last summer.

Sophie asked West if he got to “squash” any “false narratives” at the reunion, to which he responded, “I did feel like it was hard to finish most of my thoughts, but the main one was that anything was happening during the summer. Everyone watches that back now and is like, ‘They’re all over each other.’ I do think we made it clear that wasn’t happening.”

“Everything else is up for interpretation, but I mostly just tried to apologize and hope it comes across. I’m not known to be a strong reunion player, so you just kind of get through it,” West added.

The Most Intense Action Thriller of the Year Gets 10/10 First Look

Published

on

unnamed-2-1.jpg

Nobody does action quite like Hong Kong. The region has given the world some of the most influential directors and classic films, like John Woo‘s The Killer and Hard Boiled, and Jackie Chan‘s action-comedy Police Story. At the Toronto International Film Festival last year, a new film staked its claim as a modern Hong Kong masterpiece, earning a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes following its Midnight Madness premiere and finishing as a runner-up for the section’s People’s Choice Award behind Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie in a stacked field that also featured Curry Barker‘s Obsession. That title was Kenji Tanagaki‘s martial arts epic The Furious, and we’re thrilled to include it as part of Collider’s Exclusive Summer Preview series ahead of its arrival in theaters next month.

Set to be released by Lionsgate, The Furious is a violent mixing pot of bloody action film and revenge thriller DNA, most commonly earning comparisons to Gareth EvansThe Raid and the Liam Neeson favorite Taken. It centers on a resolute father named Wang Wei (Xie Miao), whose daughter is kidnapped by a human trafficking network, sending him on a path of destruction to get her back when it’s clear the police will be of no help. His only ally in his pursuit of vengeance is a journalist named Navin (Joe Taslim), whose wife has mysteriously vanished, likely at the hands of the same criminal organization. Together, they face the kidnappers head-on, raining fists and fury upon anyone in their way either to save the ones they love or, at the very least, bring justice to the men responsible for ripping them away.

As part of our preview event, we can share two new exclusive images that highlight The Furious‘ heroes as they prepare to fight. The first looks as if it belongs right alongside The Raid, with its gritty aesthetic backing a bloodied, yet determined Wei and Navin. Neither Xie nor Taslim is a stranger to martial arts action flicks, with the former cutting his teeth as the on-screen son of the legendary Jet Li in The New Legend of Shaolin and My Father Is a Hero, and the latter shining in The Raid, Fast & Furious 6, and, most recently, Mortal Kombat II. When they’re both stanced up, pure carnage is about to unfold. On the flip side, the other shot highlights the more personal angle of the film, showing Wei next to his daughter, Rainy (Yang Enyou). Judging by their looks, neither will make it out of this nightmare scenario completely unscathed, and there’s always the fear of who or what could be waiting around any corner to interrupt this rescue mission.

Who someone is when the pressure drops is who they actually are.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

‘The Furious’ Is Packed With Martial Arts Prowess

Joining Xie and Taslim in the chaotic martial arts epic is another The Raid alum, Yayan Ruhian, who’s responsible for some of the most kinetic modern action scenes ever put to screen, from Evans’ classic and its sequel to John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum. Also starring are Chocolate and Triple Threat standout Jeeja Yanin, Everything Everywhere All At Once‘s Brian Le, and Alice in Borderland‘s Joey Iwanaga. Tanagaki directed from a script by Mak Tin Shu, Lei Zhilong, Shum Kwan Sin, and Frank Hui, and, during an interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub at TIFF, he confirmed that it only took a breezy 60 days to shoot The Furious. 18 days and “every night” alone were spent on a massive fight in a police station, further making the film a technical marvel carried by its remarkable choreography and killer cast.

The One Thing Rihanna Always Asks Hayden Panettiere

Published

Hayden Panettiere 1

Hayden Panettiere‘s relationship with singer Rihanna goes way back. In a new interview, the “Nashville” alum opened up about working with the mother of three years ago on the direct-to-DVD film “Bring It On: All or Nothing.” Elsewhere in the conversation, Panettiere shared her thoughts on what it feels like to have been a mainstay in the entertainment industry for over two decades, saying, “I’m having a moment!”

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Panettiere, who played Britney Allen in the 2006 third installment of the “Bring It On” franchise, reflected on how much being part of the beloved series meant to her at the time.

“I loved the passion that people had for Bring It On. When fans would come up who loved that movie, they would freak out — have a physical, visceral reaction to me that I had never seen before,” she said.

Panettiere also opened up about what it was like working with Rihanna on the film, which also starred Beyoncé’s younger sister, Solange Knowles.

“It’s so satisfying as a performer, doing anything, anyone giving you that much love, it’s incredible for your soul. And Rihanna! I met Rihanna when she was 17, and I was 16 on that,” Panettiere explained.

For those who may be unfamiliar, Rihanna wasn’t doing roundoff back handsprings in the film “Bring It On.” She was, however, judging the cheer teams during the film’s big finale.

According to Panettiere, she formed a great relationship with the “Hard” singer on the film’s set; so much so that Rihanna reportedly asks her the same question every time they see each other in public.

“I run to her all the time. And the first thing she asks is, ‘Oh, how’s your mom?’” Panettiere shared. “I met a lot of very cool people on that project, plus anything having to do with sports or being athletic, I’m in.”

“Bring It On: All or Nothing” came six years after the original film starring Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union hit theaters. The movie’s 20th anniversary will be in early August 2026, a fact Panettiere didn’t seem ready to acknowledge.

“Oh God, [is] it really?” she said on the red carpet. “I was just with one of my dear friends, Evan Ross, and we were talking about how long we’d known each other. Remember the Titans came up, and I thought in my head, I was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s been 26 years.’ So now you’re telling me Bring It On has been how many years? My head’s in my hands.”

Continuing, Panettiere, who also appeared in famed shows like “Heroes” and “Guiding Light,” joked about how quickly time has flown by since “Bring It On.”

“I’m having a moment. I cannot believe I’ve been around — I still don’t feel like a full-grown adult!” she quipped.

How Hayden Panettiere’s ‘Bring It On’ Character Has Bled Into Her Real Life

While Panettiere’s time as Britney on “Bring It On” was nearly 20 years ago, the actress recently told Gayle King on CBS Mornings that the role has bled into her real life in an unexpected way.

While having an emotional conversation about her daughter, Kaya, with the esteemed media personality, Panettiere said that her child actually refers to her as the spunky fictional cheerleader from the affluent Pacific Vista High School.

“She actually called me and FaceTimed me the other day, and she calls me ‘Britney.’ She goes, ‘Hey Britney,’” Panettiere said. “It took me a second, and I realized she was talking about Bring It On, because her friends are fans of Bring It On.”

Panettiere has been sharing more and more over the last few weeks to promote her new memoir, “This Is Me: A Reckoning.”

Throughout the book, Panettiere is extremely candid about personal challenges, including her relationships with her mother and her daughter.

Also in the book, Panettiere opens up about a frightening experience where an unnamed movie director reportedly exposed his genitals to her, as well as another instance where she was placed in a bed with a famous, naked man.

Panettiere didn’t mention names in her book, and according to a previous report from The Blast, that was intentional.

“I wanted to tell my stories without dragging anyone else in the mud, through the mud,” she said. “As much as I want to call people out, this is still an industry that I have to exist in.”

Panettiere expanded on that, stating that the unnamed men she wrote about in her book still have a strong presence in Hollywood and that mentioning them could cause major issues for her.

“They’re people I could run into again. I didn’t want to put myself in that position,” she said, adding that the stories she wrote about “happened a long time ago.”

“… it was to protect me and my company from being sued by some very p-ssed-off famous people,” she explained.

Forget Grand Theft Auto, PlayStation’s 3-Part Open World Series Is a Masterpiece From Start to Finish

Published

The Scorpion smiling in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

The world of video games is chock-full of iconic series, and at the top of the list is the Grand Theft Auto series. Rockstar Games perfected the “open world” game, as each Grand Theft Auto protagonist travels through a different city while committing a range of illegal activities. Players could spend hours and only scratch the surface of what each game brings to the table. As a result, the Grand Theft Auto franchise remains one of the most iconic video game series in pop culture, but there’s a recent series that’s managed to beat it in the “open world” aspect: Marvel’s Spider-Man for PlayStation 4.

Developed by Insomniac Games, Marvel’s Spider-Man follows Peter Parker (Yuri Lowenthal) as he finally manages to take down Wilson Fisk (Travis Willingham), aka the Kingpin of Crime. Fisk’s absence leads to the rise of criminal mastermind Mister Negative (Stephen Oyoung), whose Inner Demons start threatening New York. Spidey also has to battle the supervillain group known as the Sinister Six, led by his former mentor, Otto Octavious (William Salyers). What follows is one of the best Spider-Man stories of all time, as Marvel’s Spider-Man and its two sequels craft an open-world experience unlike any other.

Insomniac’s Take on ‘Spider-Man’ Gives Players The Perfect Web-Slinging Experience

Throughout Marvel’s Spider-Man and its sequels, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, players will get the chance to explore all of New York. They do so through a wide variety of travel methods, including web-slinging, web-slingshotting through the air, and even catching trains throughout the city. This makes you feel like you’re actually Spider-Man, and the experience doesn’t stop there. Insomniac managed to capture the way that Spider-Man moves, whether it’s gracefully swinging through the air or leaping from opponent to opponent and taking them down with a combination of webs and punches. The same goes for Miles Morales, as players can utilize his bio-electric “venom sting” and camoflauge to great effect.

It isn’t just gameplay that makes players feel like Spider-Man, though. Insomniac’s Spider-Man series also captures the dynamics of the comics perfectly, from Peter Parker’s struggle to balance his personal and superhero lives to Miles Morales dealing with his own adolescent woes, including the death of his father in the first game. Spider-Man fans can also expect new takes on iconic characters, as Mary Jane Watson (Laura Bailey) is now a reporter instead of a supermodel, J. Jonah Jameson (Darin de Paul) hosts a podcast but still spews anti-Spider-Man rhetoric, and Norman Osborn (Mark Ralston) is the mayor of New York. Insomniac tapped comic book writers including Christos Gage and Dan Slott to work on the story, and creative director Bryan Intihar said that Insomniac picked Spider-Man because of how relatable he is as a character:

“When you’re writing Spider-Man and there’s something inside your heart, you’re bringing a lot of love to the character. There were a few key lessons. For example, whenever Peter [Parker] wins, Spider-Man loses; whenever Spider-Man wins, Peter loses, right? We wanted to make sure we hit those things when we were creating our version of the story.”

Spider-Man Isn’t The Only Marvel Hero Insomniac Is Tackling

While details on a third Spider-Man game remain scarce, Insomniac is set to tackle another Marvel hero this year when it launches Marvel’s Wolverine this September. In the same vein as Marvel’s Spider-Man, the developer is bringing everything that fans love about the clawed Canadian to the video game realm. Not only will Logan be battling iconic X-Men foes including the Sentinels and Omega Red, but it’s as bloody and violent as you’d expect a Wolverine game to be. Insommniac also proves that it has a great eye for casting, as Spartacus alum Liam McIntyre is voicing Wolverine.

Grand Theft Auto may have developed the concept of the open world, but Marvel’s Spider-Man perfected said concept. It’s one of the rare video games, alongside Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham series, that makes players feel like they’ve actually stepped into an iconic superhero’s costume. Whether you’re a dyed in the wool Spider-Man fan or this is your first introduction to the web-slinger, this is a game that’s more than worth your time.
