16 Years Later, DC’s 2-Part Action Spy Series Is Still One of Its Greatest Hidden Gems
Fifteen years ago, we were still a few years out from the major superhero craze that hit television, but longtime DC Comics fans still had plenty to celebrate. Sure, Smallville was about to end, but that didn’t mean DC adaptations were down for the count. In 2010, Fox introduced a mid-season replacement series in the style of Burn Notice and other action-spy programs titled Human Target. Like many, you’ve likely forgotten about this stellar short-term action drama, but if you’re looking for some comic book-inspired entertainment that fits stylishly into the 21st century, look no further than this Mark Valley-led series.
‘Human Target’ Breathed New Life Into DC Comics’ Christopher Chance
If you’ve never heard of Human Target, that’s probably because it’s not DC Comics’ most popular brand. The television series was based on a DC Comics character created by comic legends Len Wein and Carmine Infantino back in the ’70s (not to be confused with another “Human Target” from the ’50s), updating the role for modern day. That character? Christopher Chance, a former assassin and private contractor who assumes the identities of those he’s hired to protect to weed out the threats against them, thus becoming a literal “human target.”
Chance wove in and out of comics for decades, appearing in issues of Detective Comics, Action Comics, and a handful of solo series in that time, but it wasn’t until Jericho co-creator Jonathan E. Steinberg took a stab at bringing him back to the small screen that Christopher Chance really got his due. Although this wasn’t the first Human Target series — back in the ’90s, ABC ran a seven-episode Human Target show with Rick Springfield as Chance — the Fox version is the most memorable, and is still highly worth the binge.
Played by Mark Valley, Human Target breathed new life into the Christopher Chance character, introducing a supporting cast that added a completely different dynamic. His close friendships with Winston (Chi McBride) and hitman Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) not only make Chance better at his job, but help fill out the world beyond Chance’s complicated personal history. Human Target was particularly notable for its infusion of humor in the midst of intense action and dramatic sequences, long before that became the standard for every action-based Hollywood project. Though the show itself was certainly a departure from the original comic book series, the basic concept of Christopher Chance and his mission remained, with plenty of on-screen charisma from the show’s leads to keep fans glued to the screen. And that’s not to mention how fun the promos were.
Over the course of two seasons and 25 episodes, Human Target put Chance (and the audience) through a brand-new case of near-death, high-octane adventure with every installment. Each episode was jam-packed with recognizable guest stars, explosive action sequences, and witty banter between the three leads that you could never quite get enough of. Bear McCreary of Battlestar Galactica and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fame was responsible for the show’s rousing and orchestral score (at least during the first season), establishing that Human Target was a serious network television drama that fans ought to pay attention to. Whether you were familiar with Chance’s DC Comics roots or not, it didn’t matter, because just as Chance brought everyone up to speed about each new weekly job, so too was the show easily accessible for anyone with an interest.
‘Human Target’ Offers a Type of Action Hero That’s a Perfect Fit for TV
Fresh off his time on Fringe, Mark Valley was the perfect performer to embody the part of Christopher Chance. Always exuding an air of confidence, no matter the situation he found himself in, Valley’s charisma and skills made him stand out compared to most action heroes who grace the screens of network TV. It certainly helped that Valley had a military look about him, having served in the U.S. Army in his youth. But despite that, Valley once told Collider that what Chance goes through on-screen is far more exhilarating than his actual military experience. Still, we can see that Valley — who previously starred in Boston Legal — is clearly at home on a show like this, strolling through spy-like missions with the swagger of James Bond and the investigative capabilities of Batman.
Throughout the show (though especially the first season), we follow Chance as he runs from his past by trying to make a new life in the present. Since his complicated backstory threatens to put his team in danger at any moment, Chance often finds himself at the crosshairs with the assassin types he once called family, namely his former brother-like figure, Baptiste (played by the ever-talented Lennie James). But Chance is a man who believes in second chances. Having been on the wrong end of the gun barrel for too many years, this former assassin has turned over a new leaf and has vowed to protect lives as best he can rather than take them. It’s an age-old tale, but one that Human Target makes its own with a likable cast and clever plots that breathe fresh air into the action TV genre.
‘Human Target’ Tried To Rebrand for Season 2, but Was Ultimately Cancelled
After a first season that exceeded fan expectations, Fox decided to switch things up going into Season 2. Steinberg left the show in favor of Matt Miller, who introduced two new characters to Chance’s team: financier Ilsa Pucci (Indira Varma) and former thief Ames (Janet Montgomery). Ahead of Season 2, Valley and Hailey spoke to Collider, where the former noted his excitement for the upcoming changes. “I think it’s a show that’s already started on a very interesting, very adventurous and very fun path, and it’s just going to continue,” Valley explained. The results were fairly mixed, with some claiming that Fox ruined a good thing by adding new characters and expanding the world. Others were taken by these female additions to the male-dominated show, which opened the door for fascinating new stories to explore.
But Human Target wasn’t meant to be a long-term investment. After the show’s second season, Fox cancelled the drama, and Christopher Chance hasn’t been back since. Well, Mark Valley’s take on the character, anyway. Another version of Chance was introduced in the Arrowverse several years later, played by Wil Traval, but sadly, there was no connection between them. Instead, Human Target fell to the wayside. The second season wasn’t even released on home video like the first, making it generally a tough show to find online.
For many, the action drama was swept up and forgotten, which is a shame considering how much potential Human Target had long-term. The good news is, this one doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, so the quick two-season binge won’t feel like you’re missing a definitive conclusion by the end.

Euphoria Season 3 Finale Kills Off Zendaya’s Character Rue
Euphoria went out with a bang after the season 3 finale killed off a crucial main character halfway into the episode.
During the Sunday, May 31, episode of the hit HBO series, Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) killed Rue (Zendaya) after he found out that she was working undercover to take him down. He gave her pain killers that were laced with fentanyl — and she ultimately overdosed halfway into the episode.
Ali (Colman Domingo) found Rue dead on his couch and the rest of the episode followed his mission to get revenge on Alamo. The final episode of the show was Ali at the farm that Rue spent time at in the season 3 premiere where he said grace at the dinner table in her honor.
While Rue’s death may come as a shock to some, other fans were prepared for Zendaya’s arc to get wrapped up in the presumed series finale. The actress was previously asked by Drew Barrymore in April whether the show was over for good after season 3.
“I think so, yeah,” she said on Barrymore’s eponymous talk show. “That closure is coming.”
Creator Sam Levinson, meanwhile, was more vague.
“[I write] every season like it’s the last season,” he told Variety in April. “[I have] no plans [for season 4].”
He continued: “I want to finish this as strong as I can. I’m cutting [episodes] 7 and 8 still. I’m putting some finishing touches. I just want to deliver a f***ing slam dunk season.”

Rue wasn’t the only major casualty in the show’s third season. Jacob Elordi‘s character, Nate, also suffered a grim fate when he was killed in a box in the ground from a rattlesnake bite.
“That was a cool way to go. Nate was someone who has made so many mistakes and made so many dark choices,” Elordi explained in a segment that aired after the May 24 episode. “It’s cool to see it all come to what it’s come to.”
Elordi recalled having to film in a coffin, adding, “My shoulders were touching the side and they couldn’t move my arms. Then they would drill the lid on it and it would get dark. It was really nice, actually. It was quite peaceful in there.”
The stunt team, meanwhile, stressed how important it was to make sure the actor had oxygen. They praised Elordi for agreeing to spend “minimal time in the coffin.” Levinson, for his part, said he “wanted to shoot it with a real snake” so a rattlesnake and a boa constrictor were both featured on screen.
“Snakes were rattling, which was really alarming when you are locked in a box,” Elordi noted. “They had a boa constrictor that they put a fake rattler on the end of it.”
He continued: “He was super cute. He was really cuddly. So he kind of just sidled up next to me and it was nice. But he was really sleepy. He was a sleepy snake. I had to kind of nudge him to get him to come up. And that was it.”
At the end of the segment, Elordi reflected on his time playing Nate.
“It’s a bittersweet thing,” he said. “This show is a massive part of — not just my career — but my life. It’s been amazing and I’m so proud of being a part of this.”
Euphoria is streaming on HBO Max.

Noah Brown Shares How Rescuers Found Brother Matt’s Remains
Noah Brown is opening up about the search efforts and subsequent discovery of his late brother Matt Brown’s remains.
“For the past couple days, I’ve been communicating back and forth with the different search teams,” Noah exclusively tells Us Weekly. “There [were] two separate search teams that were going to look for him. They were nonprofits and we’re all communicating.”
He continued, “One of the smaller, more local teams decided to go out yesterday, and about — I think it’s 3:20-something, 3:27, 3:28, something like that — they texted me and told me they had found him. So I rushed down to the spot.”
Local authorities confirmed Matt’s body was recovered from the Okanogan River in Washington state on Saturday, May 30.
“A group of private citizens conducting a search along the Okanogan River located a deceased individual in the river,” a Sunday, may 31, updated press release shared by the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office’s official Facebook page read in part. “The individual was recovered and brought to shore, where he was positively identified as Matthew Brown.”
Noah tells Us that rather than “leaving the body where it was,” the small search team decided to load Matt “into a small skiff” and move his body “to shore.”

“Then myself and the rest of the people that were looking hauled the skiff up further on the shore, and that’s where it was … when the coroner came,” he adds. “Right now, all I can say is that he was lost in the river. He was lost in the river and we found him.”
According to Noah, his brother’s body is currently with “the coroner” and “they’re going to do an autopsy.”
They haven’t yet released the cause of death,” he tells Us, though is brother Bear Brown shared in a Saturday social media post that he believes his brother Matt’s death was “self-inflicted.”
Noah confirmed via TikTok on Saturday that he was present when his brother’s body was found and helped local authorities to ID his body. The Alaskan Bush People star tells Us that he is still processing the moment he realized the body was his brother’s.
“I’m kind of compartmentalizing, kind of focusing on, like, what the next thing is I’m supposed to do,” he says of the moment he saw his brother’s remains. “I knew I needed to be there in order to be able to identify him. It’s not just for the sheriffs and everything.”
He continues, “My family has this thing that if we don’t see the body and one of us is able to confirm otherwise, there is, like, a little glimmer of hope that maybe they’re still out there. His ID was on him, his social security was on him. And I, personally, I personally ID’d him. They unzipped the body bag for me, and I was able to visually ID [my brother].”
As to why he was the family member to positively ID his brother after he went missing, Noah tells us he was simply “in the vicinity.”
“I just happened to be the one to be taking the lead on it because, I guess, I was the most prepared to do it,” he says. “To kind of take all that responsibility.”
On Sunday, the Brown Family issued an exclusive statement to Us Weekly, speaking out for the first time as a collective unit after Matt’s untimely death.
“We are incredibly proud of the lives he touched. Some of the messages we treasure most are from people who told us Matt’s honesty about addiction and recovery gave them hope during their own darkest moments,” the family said in part. “At the same time, Matt spent many years battling serious mental health challenges and addiction. These were complex struggles that affected every aspect of his life.”
They continued, “Like countless families facing similar circumstances, we experienced periods of hope, recovery, setbacks, heartbreak, reconciliation, and renewed hope again.”

Kimberly Schlapman Details Caring for Mom Amid Parkinson’s
Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman has opened up about caring for her mom, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
“It’s 24-hour care,” Schlapman, 56, told USA Today in an interview published on Saturday, May 30, of the experience she’s undertaken since her 78-year-old mother Barbara’s diagnosis was presented about 20 years ago.
“When she was diagnosed, we didn’t understand what her care would mean,” she continued. “We didn’t know enough about the disease to know where we were headed.”
Schlapman, who works with her family as well as hired help to care for Barbara, recalled the day in 2005 when Barbara’s hand tremor led to a doctor informing her that she may have Parkinson’s disease, a movement disorder of the nervous system that worsens over time according to the Mayo Clinic.
“I was like, what? What? Because no one in our family, to our knowledge, has had Parkinson’s before,” Schlapman detailed, before adding that once the suspicion evolved into a diagnosis, the family did not understand what care for Barbara would look like.
Feeling the need to “be in multiple places at once,” Schlapman, who shares two daughters, Daisy, 18, and Dolly, 9, with husband Stephen, told the outlet that she relishes the responsibility to provide care for her loved ones.
“I love being a mama. I also know what my mama has meant to me in my life. Now I get an opportunity to care for her. That’s incredibly important to me,” Schlapman said. “I also have a job where people rely on me.”
Schlapman, who is also an avid cook, spoke wider about the need for more people to openly discuss the realities of living with Parkinson’s disease.
“There is no shame in this disease,” Schlapman said. “And there are so many of us out there living with it that we need each other and we need to talk about it. And the more we talk about it, the better off our loved ones are going to be because their care is going to be better and people are going to understand it more.”
Schlapman also noted that she recently moved closer to her mom to ensure she’s an active member of Barbara’s support team. “I just wouldn’t have it any other way,” she told the outlet. “We’re very, very involved in her care and with her doctors, and there’s one of us at every appointment she has.”

Dua Lipa Marries Callum Turner Before Epic Sicily Bash
Dua Lipa has officially entered a new chapter in her life after quietly marrying actor Callum Turner in an intimate London ceremony.
While the pair is still preparing for a star-studded celebration in Italy, they have already made their union official.
The low-key event offered a glimpse into their romance before what many insiders are calling one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of the year.
According to The Daily Mail, the singer and the actor tied the knot on Saturday morning at the historic Old Marylebone Town Hall in London.
Their legal ceremony was deliberately understated, taking place before a much larger wedding celebration planned for Sicily later this month.
Dua Lipa, 30, looked every bit the modern bride in a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit paired with white gloves, a Bulgari necklace, and a dramatic, wide-brimmed hat created by renowned milliner Stephen Jones.
Carrying a yellow bouquet and wearing white Christian Louboutin heels, she emerged from the registry office holding hands with her new husband.
Turner, 36, opted for a tailored navy suit that complemented the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere of the occasion. The couple was surrounded by close family members who cheered them on as they exited the venue.
The ceremony reportedly lasted between 30 and 40 minutes. Afterward, the newlyweds celebrated in characteristically modest fashion by climbing into a black London cab and heading off together. Family members joked that Dua Lipa specifically wanted a black cab to mark the occasion.
A Bridal Look Inspired By Fashion History
Observers quickly noticed similarities between Dua Lipa’s wedding ensemble and one of the most memorable celebrity bridal looks of all time.
Her outfit appeared to draw inspiration from Bianca Jagger’s famous 1971 wedding attire at her wedding to Mick Jagger.
Bianca famously wore a white Yves Saint Laurent tuxedo jacket paired with a flowing skirt and oversized hat, creating an enduring fashion moment.
Dua Lipa’s modern interpretation echoed that same glamorous 1970s aesthetic. The singer’s sophisticated styling balanced timeless elegance with contemporary flair, making her legal ceremony look instantly memorable.
The setting itself added another interesting layer to the occasion. The ceremony took place in the Sammy Ofer Center, a venue named after the late Israeli shipping magnate.
While the wedding was intentionally private, photos of the couple leaving the venue quickly spread online, drawing admiration from fans who have followed their whirlwind romance since it became public in 2024.
Dua Lipa Prepares For Showbiz Wedding Of The Year
Although the London ceremony made their marriage official, an even grander celebration is still ahead.
The newlyweds are expected to host a lavish three-day event in Palermo, Sicily, beginning later this week. Industry insiders have already described the gathering as the “showbiz wedding of the year.”
One source close to the event told the Daily Mail’s Katie Hind, “This is going to be the coolest wedding, and so glam.”
The insider added, “Both Dua and Callum have been so excited and have been really involved with the planning. They want it to be epic.”
Reports suggest no expense has been spared. The pair is believed to have reserved an entire floor of suites at the luxurious Villa Igiea hotel overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The wedding ceremony itself is expected to take place at the stunning 17th-century Villa Valguarnera in Bagheria.
Several major names from music and fashion are reportedly expected to attend, including Sir Elton John, Mark Ronson, Charli XCX, Donatella Versace, and Simon Porte Jacquemus.
Engagement Joy Led To Marriage

Long before their wedding day arrived, Dua Lipa openly expressed her excitement about spending her future with Callum Turner.
During an interview with British Vogue last year, she confirmed their engagement by saying, “Yeah we‘re engaged. It’s very exciting…”
She continued, “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.”
At the time, both were balancing demanding professional schedules. Dua Lipa was focused on touring while Turner was immersed in filming commitments.
Discussing their plans, the singer explained, “I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period…”
She also admitted that weddings had never previously occupied much space in her imagination.
“I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
Dua Lipa Opens Up About Family Dreams

As their relationship grew more serious, Dua Lipa also reflected on the future she hopes to build with Callum Turner.
The singer revealed that she was deeply touched by the engagement ring he chose for her.
She said, “It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
Marriage is not the only milestone she has been considering. Dua Lipa has also spoken candidly about wanting children one day, even though she remains uncertain about balancing motherhood with her demanding career.
“I’d love to have kids one day,” she said.
However, she acknowledged the practical questions that continue to weigh on her mind.
She added, “But it’s like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I’d have to take.”
For now, those questions can wait. After a quiet ceremony in London and a glamorous Sicilian celebration still to come, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have officially begun married life together while continuing to build a future that both have openly said they are excited to share.

Bruce Willis’ Wife Gives Rare Update On Actor’s Dementia Battle
Bruce Willis‘ wife, Emma Heming Willis, has shared an update on the movie star amid his struggle with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).
Emma revealed during an interview that she and the rest of her family are doing all they can to support the movie star.
Meanwhile, Bruce Willis recently received praise from a Broadway star, who recalled how generous and supportive he was during their time together on “Misery.”

During a chat with “Today” host Savannah Guthrie, Emma shared a small update about her husband and how the family has been coping with his dementia since his diagnosis.
“You know, we’re doing well,” she said, adding, “My husband is supported and loved, and we’re doing the best we can under the circumstances.”
She explained that her journey has highlighted the importance of self-care for caregivers, noting that looking after personal health is essential in order to properly support loved ones.
Emma also emphasized that there are practical, everyday steps people can take to support long-term brain health and wellbeing.
She noted, “What I’ve learned is that it’s so important to care for ourselves, and if we’re not caring for ourselves, how can we care for the people that we love in our lives? So it’s really important to prioritize our health, to prioritize our brain health.”
“There’s actually actionable things we can do today to support our brain tomorrow,” the model added.
Rumer Willis Shares Emotional Update On Her Dad’s FTD Journey

Willis, best known for “Die Hard” and “The Sixth Sense,” retired from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects communication and language skills.
His family later revealed in 2023 that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia, a degenerative brain disease.
At the time, they announced that he was stepping away from his career and asked for public understanding, while also expressing hope for greater awareness and research into the condition.
More recently, Willis’ eldest daughter, Rumer, shared a deeply personal update about how the diagnosis has reshaped her family’s outlook on life, time, and gratitude.
Speaking on “The Inside Edit” podcast with stylist Maeve Reilly, Rumer said life has not been the same since her father’s diagnosis, but emphasized that she feels grateful for the moments they still share.
She also expressed appreciation that her young daughter, 3-year-old Louetta, has been able to spend time with her grandfather, noting that not all future generations may have that same opportunity.
Rumer Willis Says Bruce Willis’ FTD Has Given Him A ‘Tenderness’

As the daughter of Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer said the family has remained closely bonded throughout the journey.
Willis also shares daughters Mabel and Evelyn with his wife, Emma Heming Willis. She described the situation as deeply difficult but said the family continues to support one another.
Rumer also noted that the illness has revealed a gentler side of her father, saying that despite the changes brought on by FTD, she has noticed more “sweetness” and “tenderness” in his personality than she remembered from his earlier, more rugged public image.
Bruce Willis’ Daughter Admitted He Wasn’t Truly ‘Doing Great’

She added that she was initially unaware of how widespread FTD is until her father’s diagnosis, but since speaking out, many people have reached out to share similar experiences with loved ones affected by the disease.
In a previous Instagram Q&A, Rumer said that while her father’s condition has clearly changed him, there are still moments where his personality and “spark” remain visible.
She acknowledged the difficult reality of FTD, adding that while no one with the condition is truly “doing great,” Willis is as stable as can be expected given the circumstances.
Laurie Metcalf Reflects On Bruce Willis’s Generosity During ‘Misery’ Broadway Run

More recently, Broadway star Laurie Metcalf described Willis as “an incredibly generous man,” recalling their time working together on the 2015 Broadway adaptation of “Misery” as he continues to live with frontotemporal dementia.
Speaking on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, the 70-year-old actress reflected on her close working relationship with Willis, 71, saying he was known for regularly surprising cast and crew with gifts during the production.
Metcalf said the pair developed an easy rapport while performing in the stage version of Stephen King’s 1987 novel, with much of their time spent backstage talking about everyday life, including family and personal routines.

She also shared that Willis once recommended dining at Nobu for a family outing, a suggestion she later followed.
According to Metcalf, Willis quietly covered the cost of a dinner she shared with her son, only for her to later learn the actor had already taken care of the bill.
She added that Willis’s presence also had a major impact on the show’s success, drawing large audiences throughout its Broadway run.
“He filled every seat in that house,” she said, noting that the production consistently sold out as fans turned up to see him perform.

How Happy Hours’ Constance Wu and Katie Holmes Bonded
Constance Wu is revealing how she managed to build a bond with her Happy Hours costar Katie Holmes.
“You know, we … both started our careers in television and we’re about the same age,” Wu, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly on May 20 while attending the American Ballet Theatre’s Spring Gala in New York City. “We both have kids, so there was just a lot to bond on.” (Wu shares two children with her partner, Ryan Kattner, while Homes, 47, shares daughter Siri with ex-husband Tom Cruise.)
Wu continued, “I just also really like her. She and I also read books – like, people don’t read books anymore but we read a lot. So, you know, we like to talk books, we like to talk music, we like to talk ballet. She’s a great person.”
Holmes is listed as the director and writer of the first installment of her most recent project, Happy Hours, also starring Joshua Jackson, Mary-Louise Parker, Joe Tippett, Jack Martin, Johnna Dias-Watson, Nathan Darrow, John McGinty and Donald Webber Jr.
The “character-driven dramedy” follows two people (Jackson and Holmes) as they navigate “their relationship within the challenges of careers and family responsibilities and the pursuit of love, despite life’s inevitable obstacles,” per Deadline.

Production of the first installment began in summer 2025 in New York City. Since news of the project first broke, fans of the beloved series Dawson’s Creek have been clamoring for a chance to see Holmes and Jackson reunite onscreen.
“If this is a Dawson’s Creek reboot after 23 years I’m here for it! And let’s make it right this time and call it Pacey’s Creek,” one X user wrote after photos of Holmes and Jackson reuniting on set went viral.
“This is 20 years in the making… we finally get to see the adult story of Joey & Pacey,” another fan posted at the time.
As Wu continues to work alongside Homes and the rest of her costars, she’s being honest about what it’s actually like trying to find that elusive work-life balance as a working mom in Hollywood.
“I haven’t figured it out yet,” Wu candidly told Us on May 20. “One will inevitably get more time and attention [family or career], and if I have to choose which one’s getting more time and attention it’s going to be my kids and motherhood.”
She continued, “Which I tell myself actually makes my acting work better, because the richer your life experience is the deeper you can go into your characters. That’s what I tell myself.”

Jennifer Aniston Reportedly ‘Hinting’ At An ‘Impromptu Wedding’
Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Jim Curtis are happier than ever, with insiders claiming the couple may even be considering a spontaneous wedding celebration during an upcoming trip to Mexico.
Sources say the actress has found a sense of peace in the relationship, while Curtis has become a natural fit within her inner circle.
As romance rumors continue to swirl, Jennifer Aniston has also been turning heads with a subtle new hair transformation while filming season five of “The Morning Show” in Los Angeles.

Aniston is reportedly in a very great place with her hypnotist boyfriend, Curtis, as the couple approaches their first anniversary together, with new speculation suggesting they may even be considering a spontaneous wedding celebration.
According to recent reports, the pair is planning a romantic trip to Mexico in the coming weeks to mark the milestone at a luxury resort in Los Cabos.
“She’s beyond excited,” a source told Star Magazine, noting that the actress has “even started hinting that they might have an impromptu wedding, just a very tiny gathering of their very closest friends.”
The “We Are The Millers” star, 57, is said to have a strong fondness for Mexico, and its proximity to Los Angeles reportedly makes it an easy destination for quick trips.
One source noted that friends wouldn’t be difficult to gather if she decided to make the occasion more significant, with several allegedly open to the idea.
If they do decide to exchange vows, sources say the ceremony would likely be relaxed and intimate, “something low-key on the sand with margaritas and not much else.”
A larger celebration back in Los Angeles has also reportedly been discussed as a possible follow-up.
The Couple’s Relationship Has Deepened Over The Last Few Months

The latest update comes after reports earlier this month claimed Aniston and Curtis are stronger than ever following the romance rumors that first surfaced after their Mallorca vacation last summer.
According to insiders, the relationship has brought Aniston a sense of happiness that the actress has always longed for.
“It’s a great partnership and makes Jen very happy,” one source shared with People Magazine, describing Curtis as someone with warm, positive energy who naturally connects with people.
Jennifer Aniston And Jim Curtis Always Make Time To See Each Other Amid Their Busy Schedule

Despite Curtis and Aniston’s packed schedules, the couple reportedly makes their relationship a priority.
Aniston is currently filming season five of “The Morning Show” alongside Reese Witherspoon, but insiders say the pair still find time for each other throughout the week and enjoy spending time with their close-knit group of friends.
Sources also claim the relationship grew from a genuine friendship first, which helped “make their relationship feel much more genuine from the start.”
The Couple Went Instagram Official With A Sweet Photo
After initially keeping things private, Aniston and Curtis officially confirmed their romance on social media late last year with a cozy Instagram post from their Mallorca trip.
Since then, those close to the couple say they have become “inseparable,” with a source telling Us Weekly, “This is the most comfortable she has felt in a long time, and it’s still going well.”
Curtis has also hinted that 2026 could bring even more exciting moments for the pair. Reflecting on the past year, he reportedly shared that while many wonderful things happened, it was ultimately the people in his life who mattered most.
Unsurprisingly, many interpreted his comment as a nod to his relationship with the “Friends” star.
Jennifer Aniston Debuts Fresh Blonde Look While Reflecting On Iconic ‘Rachel’ Hair Era

Meanwhile, Aniston has also been making headlines for a subtle style refresh while filming the new season of “The Morning Show” in Los Angeles.
According to InStyle, the actress was recently spotted on set debuting slightly brighter blonde tones with soft platinum highlights framing her face.
She styled the updated look in a classic side part and paired it with a sophisticated outfit featuring a tan coat, coordinating top, black midi skirt, and slingback heels, accessorized with gold jewelry and a matching handbag.
Aniston’s hair has long been one of her most recognizable trademarks, dating back to her time on “Friends,” where her layered haircut became a worldwide phenomenon known as “The Rachel,” inspired by her character Rachel Green.
Ironically, despite the hairstyle’s massive popularity, Aniston has admitted she was never a fan of it herself. In a past interview with Allure, she jokingly called longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan “the bane of my existence” for creating the iconic look, later adding that she thought it was “the ugliest haircut” she had ever had.

McComb also shared a series of photos from the celebratory event, including one image where she was seen smiling as she wrapped her arms around Campbell while at the altar.
McComb was previously married to the late Van Der Beek from 2003 to 2010. That same year, James exchanged vows with Kimberly Van Der Beek. The pair went on to welcome six children.
News broke in February that James died at age 48 following a battle with stage III colorectal cancer. McComb, for her part, paid tribute to James in an emotional Instagram post at the time.
“Thank you for everyone who has reached out,” she wrote. “I appreciate and feel all your love. I am heartbroken over the loss of beloved James. I am especially heartbroken for his incredible wife Kimberly, his beautiful children and his amazing family, Jim, Jared, Juliana and all of his family and friends who I know he loved deeply.”
Alongside the message, McComb uploaded a black-and-white photo of her hugging James. She explained in the caption that the image was from her 21st birthday and James’ Dawson’s Creek had yet to air.
“This is how I will always see James innocent, kind and pure of heart,” she wrote. “What a journey we shared over the years. I sit here in immense gratitude for the special connection, friendship and love that James and I shared that has endured through decades. I will treasure the last loving words we exchanged. James was a beautiful soul filled with so much light, love, talent, humor, depth, sensitivity, knowledge and a deep love of God that shined through him. He shined so bright yet was so humble and human. Always searching, always growing, always going deeper, always chasing things outside his comfort zone.”
She continued, “I know that James loved being a father so much and oh how he loved Kimberly with his everything. True soulmates. How she showed up for him with such grace is so beautiful and something I will forever admire. James was a blessing to all that knew him and because of his boldness to share his journey with the world so bravely is now a blessing to all.”
In the caption, McComb asked God to “please hold Kimberly, his children, his family and everyone who is mourning his loss in your arms.”
“You are the healer of all healers,” she concluded. “Thank you Jesus for bringing this beautiful soul into the world and into all of our lives. I love you James. I know you had a lot of loved ones up there welcoming you home. God bless you. Till we meet again you sweet soul you. Prayers up 🙏❤️.”

Taylor Frankie Paul Reflects On Mistakes In New Post
Taylor Frankie Paul is reflecting on her past mistakes on the last day of Mental Health Awareness Month. On Instagram, the “SLOMW” reality star revealed that she was still processing the drama that unfolded in her life from March to May 2026. In addition, she shared an important message with her followers who might also be struggling.
Paul recently shared a new slideshow of photos on her Instagram, speaking about what she’s learned throughout Mental Health Awareness Month.
“Still processing two shows were put on pause. Balled it up in both shows, made some boys cry and now I’m bawling,” she wrote. “What is life? …Take it seriously, learn lessons but don’t forget to be silly too. It’s okay to smile again after making mistakes. Today is the last day of mental health awareness month and just know if you’re out there struggling you’re not alone.”
Paul previously opened up about Mental Health Awareness Month in early May, according to The Blast. After sharing an AI-generated photo of herself with bruises and scratches, Paul said the photo represented how she was feeling in real life.
“Patches for pain, heat relaxes the tension, IV helps hydrate and supplement when lacking all nutrients due to no appetite, bandaids were deliberate—pain you cannot see,” she captioned the picture.
Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season Of ‘The Bachelorette’ Was Axed After Shocking Video Surfaces

Paul’s post comes months after sources revealed production on season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” had been halted due to her alleged domestic disputes with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
Shortly after, a video of Paul appearing to assault Mortensen with her fists was shared online. Also in the clip, Paul can be seen throwing two heavy, metal chairs at Mortensen, one of which hit her minor daughter, leaving a visible mark.
The video was shared days before Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” was set to begin. However, ABC and Disney pulled the plug on the program after public backlash.
“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney representative said.
Taylor Frankie Paul Broke Her Silence After Learning Programs Had Been Impacted

Paul spoke out after the video’s release, admitting she was struggling with what had been going on.
“It’s just heavy. It’s a heavy time, and it’s unfortunate,” she said. “I’m struggling for sure, but also at the same time I feel like if I don’t show up, then I’m just giving these opportunities away and not enjoying what we’ve worked on and something super exciting that’s coming. I just feel like it was the right thing to do… show up even though it’s hard.”
Mortensen, meanwhile, shared his own statement through his rep, revealing that he had hoped to keep his and Paul’s personal matters out of the public eye.
“He kind of just lets it all happen to him, and I think he realizes with the severity of everything now that he just can’t do that,” the statement read.
Season 5 Of ‘The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’ Will Be Different

According to a previous report from The Blast, season 5 of “SLOMW” will return to Hulu, but not the way fans are used to.
Instead of a full season of episodes, viewers will only get the five episodes filmed before the show’s cameras went down in March 2026.
But that doesn’t mean the popular reality series is going anywhere anytime soon.
“Right now, they’re just filming confessionals for season 5,” a source said. “They’ve decided they’re not going to film the rest of season 5, but apparently they’re still going to film season 6.”
A ‘Mormon Wives’ Spin-Off Is Coming To Hulu

Another report from The Blast reveals that Hulu is expanding the “Mormon Wives” franchise with a series set in Orange County, California.
While details about the new series have been kept under wraps, the show will include Bobbi Althoff, Madison Bontempo, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Chandler Hagginson, Ashleigh Pease, and McCall DaPron.
Jen Affleck will also be part of the group.
“A new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity,” the show’s synopsis reads. “While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo.”
Continuing, it reads, “Scandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to #MomTok.”

Sydney Sweeney Enjoys Times Square Date With Boyfriend
Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun bump up their love with a poignant walk around NYC!
The movie star and her freshly minted beau were spotted on the streets of the Big Apple getting the best out of their nights in the spirit of their whirlwind romance, which has caught the attention of many spectators.
Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have both been in long-term relationships in the past, with the former’s engagement to business Jonathan Davino and the latter’s marriage to mining heiress Yael Cohen, which produced three kids.
Sweeney and Braun had a blast in NYC on Saturday, ending the evening with a visit to Times Square. The couple was seen together earlier, both wearing fashionable all-black outfits. While the actress was clad in a short black dress with a deep neckline, Braun went with a black suit.
Braun told the world on Instagram of how the late-night adventure started after Sweeney admitted that she had never been to Times Square before. The video showed the duo riding rental bikes through the city before stopping for food.
At one point, Sweeney, dressed casually in a blue hoodie and sunglasses, sampled a burger. When Braun asked for her verdict, she gave an approving response, indicating that she enjoyed it.
The actress then went to the bright lights and zesty energy of Times Square, posing in front of a giant digital billboard promoting her American Eagle campaign. As noted by Page Six, Sweeney danced along to “Empire State of Mind,” the iconic New York anthem playing in the background.
Scooter Braun Gushed Over His Partner’s Acting Prowess

In an interview on Suzy Weiss’ “Second Thought” podcast on May 28, the music executive shared his take on the new season of “Euphoria.” Braun admitted that the show has generated a lot of mixed feelings, but he added that he still loves it.
He conceded that his judgment could be subjective and singled out one of the show’s principal stars as an outstanding performer, a veiled reference to Sweeney. The Blast noted that Braun was enthusiastic about the actress, describing her as genuine, intelligent, generous, and grounded among her best attributes.
The former talent manager also admitted that the romance hit him “out of the blue” and called the romance “one of the most surprising things in his life.”
Braun Reportedly Has One Surprising Take On Sydney Sweeney’s Explicit Scenes

Braun’s praise for Sweeney came shortly after reports surfaced about his reaction to the actress’ controversial scenes in the latest season of Euphoria. According to a source, the media personality has remained supportive of Sweeney despite the criticism surrounding her role.
The insider claimed he understands that certain scenes are part of the entertainment industry and respects the actress’s commitment to her work. Instead of influencing her decision on what she is doing with her career, the former manager reportedly believes in her instinct and backs her creative selections.
The source also noted that there has been no tension in their relationship because of the public scrutiny of Sweeney’s performance. Much of the criticism centered on Sweeney’s character storyline involving OnlyFans, as well as several attention-grabbing wardrobe choices that quickly went viral online.
Though many applauded her for having the courage to take risks as a performer, some industry watchers voiced concerns that the increased attention on her provocative roles might detract from her overall acting skills. Beyond Euphoria, Sweeney has also taken on intimate and provocative scenes in other recent projects, including The Housemaid, further fueling discussions about the direction of her career.
The Emmy Nominee Had The Perfect Caption For Her ‘Euphoria’ Character’s Craziest Season

The model revisited the whirlwind that was Cassie Howard’s journey in “Euphoria” Season 3. The actress shared a collection of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the hit HBO series on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into some of the season’s most memorable moments.
The post also had screenshots of Cassie and Nate’s wedding, video from their time at the Silver Slipper Strip Club, and pictures relating to the controversial OnlyFans storyline she had.
Cinemablend noted that Sweeney’s content was accompanied by a short caption that seemed to perfectly encapsulate the experience of playing Cassie during one of her most dramatic seasons yet.
Cassie’s storyline has sparked mixed reactions from viewers. While some praised the bold direction of her arc, others criticized the handling of her subscription-content storyline.
During the season, there was quite a bit of discussion surrounding the character’s actions and how the show depicted online content creation. Sweeney, despite the furor, hinted in her post that she had enjoyed the experience of being part of the final season of the Emmy-winning drama.
Whether the tribute marks the end of Season 3 or a farewell to the series itself remains unclear, as creator Sam Levinson has yet to confirm if another season is on the horizon.
Sydney Sweeney Is Not Breaking A Sweat Over Her Nude Scenes Backlash

The actress was not the only personality related to the HBO series catching flak for their creative decisions. Producer Levinson also got an earful from critics, prompting him to defend the storyline, especially in relation to Cassie’s questionable costumes and scenes.
As stated by The Blast, he explained that the idea behind those scenes was to elicit humor and some level of healthy absurdity, not to send a provocative tone.
According to Levinson, the humor stemmed from the bizarre situations surrounding the character, including having her housekeeper film the videos, which added another layer of satire to the story.
Sweeney also lent her voice to the pushback against the critics, emphasizing that none of the decisions surrounding her characters go out without passing through her table. She previously affirmed that Levinson never pressured her into filming raunchy scenes, and if need be, adjustments often came in where necessary.
She bemoaned the unhealthy fixation on the elements of nudity in her performance rather than recognizing the massive amount of work that goes behind the scenes to achieve anything.
