Andy Cohen Responds to Jill Zarin’s Super Bowl Halftime Remarks
Bad Bunny took to the Super Bowl Halftime stage on February 8, delivering a high-energy performance that has drawn both praise and criticism. One of the show’s outspoken critics was “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Jill Zarin. Now, one of her former bosses, Andy Cohen, has a perfectly shady response as fans also weigh in.

Andy Cohen Had A Quick Response To Jill Zarin’s Bad Bunny Comments

Cohen took to his “Radio Andy” SiriusXM radio show on February 9 to react to what Zarin had to say about the Super Bowl. He said in the clip, “And in terms of Jill, just… I don’t know. You know, call E!” After that, Cohen’s co-host then noted that former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong had also made disparaging remarks regarding the Super Bowl.
The “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” host then said, “Two people who are not employed by Bravo anymore, so just…” Regarding Cohen saying, “Call E!,” he’s referring to the recently announced series featuring Zarin and several of her fellow “Real Housewives of New York City” alums.

The Former ‘RHONY’ Star Had Quite A Bit To Say

Zarin has never been shy about sharing her opinions, and the former “RHONY” star was no different when it came to the 2026 Super Bowl with Bad Bynny as the Halftime Show headliner. She began in the video, which she originally posted to Instagram, “So we all agree, I said it before, that it was the worst halftime show ever, and it’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish.”
She continued, “And quite frankly, I didn’t want to see him grabbing his G-area. I think it was totally inappropriate. You’ve got all these kids, young kids, watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds. Is he so insecure? Seriously.”

From there, the former “Real Housewives” star reiterated that she wished she could have understood the lyrics. She went on, “For me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing. I think it was a political statement, and I’m not taking a side one way or another. I just do. I think it was an ICE thing.”

The Reality Star Also Called Out Lady Gaga And The NFL

Zarin’s commentary on the Super Bowl Halftime Show didn’t end there. The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star also had words for the NFL and Lady Gaga, who joined Bad Bunny on stage for a Salsa rendition of “Die With a Smile.” She said, “I just think the NFL sold out, and it’s very sad because this is 75 years, and you know, shame. Shame.”
After that, she went on to assert that Gaga had gotten plastic surgery, claiming not to recognize the pop superstar. According to Zarin, “And Lady Gaga got a facelift. I didn’t recognize her. I literally had to Google her face to see who it was. We all couldn’t agree who it was, so that was kind of fun in the middle of halftime. At least it gave me something to do because it was so hard to watch.”

Fans Are Outraged Over The Former Bravo Star’s Comments
Following Zarin’s comments going viral, many fans of “The Real Housewives of New York City” reacted. One person mentioned her upcoming show, saying, “We need a petition to fire Jill Zarin before she even starts filming.” Comedian Dustin Ross said, “I never liked Jill Zarin anyway because she looks like her perfume stinks.”
Another fan wrote, “Not Jill Zarin being mad that there weren’t any ‘white people’ in Bad Bunny’s performance. Here’s to hoping her new show FLOPS.” Someone else said, “I won’t track or watch another thing about her low-budget, future flop of a show – except to report that Jill Zarin is 74.”
A different X user stated, “Someone check on Jill Zarin and Taylor Armstrong’s agents today because we’re likely inside 12 hours to a press release that they’ve been replaced for this Palm Beach project.”

Andy Cohen Recently Reacted To The Upcoming Show
Before Zarin’s comments, Cohen expressed positive views about the upcoming E! series, “The Golden Life.” According to Deadline, he said on his radio show, “I’m so excited for them. I texted the ladies yesterday. I think it’s gonna be a great show. I could never root against these women.”
Cohen continued, “I absolutely love them. I love them together. So does America. I’m gonna speak for America, and I think it’s gonna be great, and I can’t wait to watch, and I’m happy for them.”
It’s unclear when they will film “The Golden Life,” but it was previously reported that the E! network wanted to air it by the end of 2026.

Chris Evans’ Dystopian Sci-Fi Film Is Suddenly Clicking With ‘Silo’ Fans on Free Streaming
A post-apocalyptic sci-fi series, when done right, should hook you in, leave you with lingering questions, mounting curiosity, and a sense of unease that keeps you glued to its fictional dystopia. If there’s any show that has nailed that hard, it is Apple TV‘s Silo. With its success, the appetite for similarly high-concept, thought-provoking sci-fi has only grown. Fortunately, stories built around rigid hierarchies and claustrophobic futures are nothing new to film. One Chris Evans–led sci-fi blockbuster that hits many of the same thematic notes has recently resurfaced on streaming and is rapidly climbing the charts as a free-to-watch hit.
Silo follows Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson), an engineer living among the remnants of humanity inside a vast underground bunker after an apocalyptic catastrophe. The silo hides secrets beneath its rigid rules, and Juliette’s search for answers uncovers a mystery that threatens to unravel a carefully constructed lie about the world beyond its walls. Season 2 ends on a massive cliffhanger, with an uprising brewing inside the silo as newly uncovered truths ignite growing unrest. Silo mirrors Chris Evans’ post-apocalyptic film Snowpiercer (2013) in its strict class divide and ambitious high-concept world-building.
Instead of an underground bunker, the scheming in Snowpiercer unfolds aboard a massive train that endlessly circles the globe, powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. The film imagines the aftermath of a catastrophic attempt to reverse global warming that instead plunges Earth into a devastating ice age, wiping out most life on the planet. The last surviving humans are confined to the Snowpiercer, where a brutal class system takes hold. The poorest passengers are crammed into the filthy rear cars while the elite live in comfort and excess at the front. As resentment festers, a rebellion led by Evans’ Curtis Everett breaks out. Directed by Bong Joon Ho, the film also stars Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, and Ed Harris.
‘Snowpiercer’ Was a Commercial and Critical Hit
Snowpiercer was a South Korean co-production and, with a reported $40 million budget, ranks among the most expensive films ever produced in the country. The gamble paid off handsomely. The film became an international hit, shattering multiple box office records in South Korea, including the highest opening figure for a Korean film and the fastest to reach four million admissions. It ultimately grossed more than $86 million worldwide, though its U.S. box office stalled at just $4 million, due to a post-production dispute between director Joon Ho and distributor Harvey Weinstein.
Snowpiercer was also a critical success, earning a 94% rating and a consensus that praised it as “an audaciously ambitious action spectacular for filmgoers numb to effects-driven blockbusters.” More than a decade after its release, the film continues to draw audiences, ranking among the most popular titles on streaming. It’s currently available to watch for free on Pluto TV, where, at the time of writing, it sits as the fifth most popular title among U.S. viewers. The film also spawned a four-season television adaptation of the same name, which has likewise been enjoying a recent surge on the streaming charts.
You can watch Snowpiercer for free on Pluto TV, while the Snowpiercer TV series is available to stream in the US on Starz, AMC+, and on Netflix internationally.

Stephen King-Approved 4-Part Horror Series Gets a Major Streaming Boost
MGM+ is fast becoming to horror fans what Apple TV+ is to sci-fi fans in the age of streaming. While it hasn’t yet broken into the mainstream like some of its bigger streaming rivals, the Amazon-backed platform is definitely on to something, and they are doing it right. While Apple TV+ boasts sci-fi shows like Severance and Pluribus, MGM+ is positioning itself as home to some bone-chilling titles, including The Institute and Chapelwaite, both of which are based on Stephen King novels.
MGM+’s biggest export, however, is the popular mystery horror series FROM, which continues to draw comparisons with the 2004 sci-fi horror series Lost, which set the bar for a mysterious tale that only bore a hole deeper into its lore. FROM premiered its first Season in 2022 and has since consistently maintained its spot on MGM’s Top 10 charts. While rankings typically shuffle to reflect changing audience appetite, From has never slipped outside the Top 10. Even The Institute, based on King’s novel and written for television by Benjamin Cavell, has been unable to wrestle FROM‘s crown despite receiving critical acclaim.
FROM is one of the most terrifying shows on television, and it stars Lost alum Harold Perrineau in the lead role. According to data obtained from FlixPatrol, FROM has expanded its sphere of influence, dominating several streaming platforms across multiple countries. The MGM+ series was created by John Griffin, who also serves as a writer and executive producer, and the sci-fi horror has sprung to life on platforms like MGM+, Catchplay, Starz, and Paramount+, among others. The show’s global reach is also growing as the series finds itself within the Top 10 of several countries using the aforementioned platforms, including France, Italy, Morocco, and Australia.
‘FROM’ Season 4 Is Poised To Be Groundbreaking
Griffin’s FROM centers on a cursed town that traps anyone who enters. The story begins with the Matthews family, whose road trip takes a terrifying detour when they stumble into the town, only to realize there’s no way out. Alongside other trapped residents, they race to unravel the town’s dark secrets before they’re all consumed by the malevolent forces that lurk after dark. The King of Horror himself, Stephen King, approves of the show, and he is not alone, as reflected by the show’s strong score of 96% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The show has thrived for three seasons, and MGM+ quickly greenlit a fourth season after the third finished airing. Season 4 finished filming in November 2025, with a trailer dropping in early February 2026.
MGM+ has also released a full synopsis for the fourth season of FROM, which can be found below:
“In Season Four, the closer the residents of town get to the answers they seek, the more terrifying their search becomes. Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want? Will Jade and Tabitha’s revelation be the key to finally going home? How much longer can Boyd hold the town together, even as his body and mind are falling apart? And what role will the town’s most recent arrival play in the events to come? Season Four will open doors that some in town will end up wishing had remained closed.”
Stay tuned to Collider for more updates on FROM Season 4, and catch up on the first three seasons on MGM+.

This Horror Classic Still Holds the Guinness Record for Most Appearances of a Film in Other Movies
Horror is a genre that never goes out of style. From the original Universal Classic Monsters, to Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic filmography, to the massively successful The Conjuring: The Last Rites, there will always be films that terrify. However, among the endless canon of horror greats, there is one film that holds a very unique record. Night of the Living Dead may be something of a small film, but it is undoubtedly a classic. The film has not only gone on to influence countless other zombie movies, but has a deep, social meaning. And, thanks to an interesting loophole, it has also appeared in other movies more than any other film in history.
‘Night of the Living Dead’ Is One of the Most Influential Horror Films Ever Made
Released in 1968, Night of the Living Dead found great success, despite its modest status. Per Forbes, the picture made $30,000,000 against its small $114,000 budget. The film was also a critical success, and found relevancy, becoming an allegory for race, thanks to the lead character, Ben, being brought to life by African-American actor, Duane Jones. Ben was a rarity at the time, as the film avoided the use of stereotypes common for its era, and presented the character as intelligent and resourceful. Director George Romero is often credited for creating the idea of the modern zombie, with his influence still felt across the genre today, via The Walking Dead and other popular properties. But influence is not the only way the entertainment industry has continued to honor the picture.
‘Night of the Living Dead’ Has Appeared in a Record Number of Other Films
Night of the Living Dead has remained a cornerstone film, not only for its success, or its larger franchise but because of its various appearances in other pictures. According to the Guinness World Records, pieces and sections of Night of the Living Dead have appeared in 129 movies, as of January 2024. Among the most notable, clips of the picture have been featured in Halloween II, Christaine F., Fade to Black, Proof, and Stir of Echoes. However, these appearances weren’t necessarily due to the affection of various filmmakers.
This Small but Crucial Element in ‘Night of the Living Dead’ Helped the Movie Change Horror CInema
George Romero made civilization’s collapse just another item on the nightly news.
As explained by York University, the movie’s original distributor, the Walter Reade Organization, failed to properly register the picture’s copyright. The movie was originally going to be called Night of the Flesh Eaters, but the Reade Organization decided to change the name to avoid confusion with 1964’s The Flesh Eaters. During the name change process, the distributor failed to add the copyright indicator to the new title, which, according to the US Copyright Act of 1909, was a necessity. Thanks to the failure, the picture accidentally entered the Public Domain. This mistake allowed other filmmakers to feature clips of Night of the Living Dead without having to pay its creators. While this negligent accident may not be profitable, it does allow the horror classic’s legacy to live on. It continues to not only appear in various other films and documentaries, but decades after its release, Night of the Living Dead remains one of the most influential and important pieces of horror ever created.
‘Night of the Living Dead’ Has Influenced Generations of Horror
Night of the Living Dead has done more than just appear in several films over the years; it’s influenced many and is even credited with birthing the existence of a few as well. The film, of course, had follow-up films such as Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead, and a high-profile 1990 remake, to name a few. But besides its own franchise and spin-off, some of the most beloved horror flicks ever made do indeed owe their existence to the picture. According to BuzzFeed, 1981’s The Evil Dead was heavily influenced by Romero’s classic. The Kandarian Demon and the Deadites closely resemble the ghouls of Night of the Living Dead. The publication also notes the tonal similarities between the movies. Both Night of the Living Dead and The Evil Dead mix horror and comedy throughout. The Evil Dead’s director, Sam Raimi, would famously go on to make this a popular trope in many of his films, something born from Romero’s own approach.
Lord of the Rings and King Kong legend Peter Jackson was also inspired by Romero’s seminal film as well. Early in his career, Jackson directed Dead Alive. The entry is one of the zombie genre’s bloodiest films — not to mention most comical. It also contains many similarities to Night of the Living Dead, including the design of its zombies and horror elements. Perhaps the most famous example though is 2002’s Cabin Fever. Eli Roth directly credited Romero’s film for inspiring the picture and borrowed some iconic story elements to create the movie. Despite being a low-budget production, the film was incredibly successful and reinvented the zombie genre, with effects that are still being felt today. In addition to its social relevance, the picture’s Guinness World Record status may be something of a mistake, but that has helped keep the movie in the minds of horror fans everywhere.

Authorities Investigating ‘New Leads’ In Search for Savannah Guthrie’s Mom
Authorities are widening their search for Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy Guthrie, after revealing law enforcement is investigating new leads.
“Many of you observed an active presence at the Guthrie residences over the weekend. That activity will continue tonight and into tomorrow as part of the ongoing investigative process, including the expansion of the search and follow-up on new leads,” the Pima County Sheriff’s Department announced via social media on Monday, February 9. . “This is all part of the investigative process, as the search for Nancy expands and new leads come in.”
Details of the “new leads” were not publicly released “to preserve the integrity of this criminal investigation.”
The authorities also stated that the FBI will handle “all aspects related to any ransom note(s) or communications involving the Guthrie family.”
If anyone has additional information about Nancy’s whereabouts they are encouraged to contact law enforcement through the tip lines 1-800-CALL-FBI, the PCSD non-emergency line at 520-351-4900 or 88-CRIME.
NewsNation reporter Brian Entin shared an additional statement issued by the FBI in relation to the ongoing criminal investigation on Monday via X.
“The FBI is not aware of any continued communication between the Guthrie family and suspected kidnappers, nor have we identified a suspect or person of interest in this case at this time,” the statement read.
Earlier this month, Nancy was reported missing in Tucson, Arizona, by her family after she was last seen the previous evening. A friend of Nancy’s noticed that she did not attend that Sunday’s church service and alerted one of Nancy’s children, who checked on her home before contacting the police. (In addition to Savannah, Nancy shares daughter Annie and son Camron with late husband Charles Guthrie.)
Law enforcement officials believe that Nancy was taken from her home, as the elderly woman has mobility issues that would have made it difficult for her to leave on her own. Nancy also takes daily medications and missing a dose could be fatal.
Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN9 reported that multiple alleged ransom letters were sent to various media outlets amid Nancy’s disappearance. One note demanded $6 million in bitcoin in exchange for her safe return, while a man named Derrick Callella was arrested for sending a fake ransom note to the Guthrie family.
Amid the alleged ransom notes, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared in a Friday, February 6, statement that “the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are aware of a new message regarding Nancy Guthrie.” Nanos added the message was being “inspected” by investigators for “its authenticity.”
Earlier on Monday, Savannah, 54, shared a video ahead of an alleged ransom note’s 5 p.m. MST deadline. The Today host thanked her followers for their prayers and asked for their help in bringing her mom home.
“We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock, trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken, and we don’t know where, and we need your help,” Savannah said in the clip. “So, I’m coming on just to ask you, not just for your prayers, but no matter where you are, even if you’re far from Tucson, if you see anything, you hear anything, if there’s anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement.”

The Animated Series’ Changed Marvel History With These 2 Iconic Relationships [Exclusive]
X-Men ‘97 shattered sky-high expectations two years ago when it debuted to immaculate reviews on its way to becoming the highest-rated Marvel project in history, despite not being set in the MCU. With scores of 99% from critics and 91% from audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, it’s safe to say that X-Men ‘97 was a hit. This justified Marvel’s decision to greenlight the show for a Season 2 before the Season 1 premiere, and there’s such high demand for more mutants that the studio is already working on Season 3 before the premiere of Season 2.
One aspect of X-Men ‘97 that fans appreciated in particular was the romance. The relationships made the show feel more mature than some other Marvel properties that ran from romance rather than embracing it. While Rogue and Magneto’s relationship stole the spotlight, most fans agree that Rogue’s relationship with Gambit was the show’s beating heart, at least until Gambit’s tragic passing.
Collider’s Maggie Lovitt recently moderated a panel at Big Lick Comic-Con in Roanoke, VA, for Rogue actor Lenore Zann, who brought out Larry Houston, who produces X-Men ‘97. A fan in attendance asked Zann about Rogue’s relationship with Gambit, and Houston also chimed in with an interesting fact that many X-Men fans may not be aware of:
“We invented that relationship to try and create some character drama and interesting subject matter to make the show interesting, and it eventually became so interesting that it migrated back to the comic books as a relationship that the fans enjoyed. But, it was something we created for entertainment for you guys in the cartoon show, the same with the love triangle between Scott, Jean, and Wolverine. That was not in the [comic] books either.”
Houston also recalled a conversation with a former X-Men live-action movie director who told him he had “never read one X-Men comic,” but that he “saw the TV show and that’s how the relationship migrated into the movies and then migrated back to the comic books. It’s all created for entertainment for the fans, and it became canon by accident.” Rogue and Gambit’s relationship is far from the only thing that a movie or show writer had an idea for that was later adapted to a comic book.
What Do We Know About the Next Two Seasons of ‘X-Men ’97′?
Plot details about X-Men ‘97 Season 2 are being kept under wraps, but after the Season 1 ending saw the team left scattered in chaos across time and space, the stakes are sure to be on the rise. The show is expected to premiere sometime this summer, likely in June or July, barring any further delays. The wait between Seasons 2 and 3 is also expected to be smaller than the wait between Seasons 1 and 2. This show can operate more smoothly under the continued leadership of new writer and showrunner Matthew Chauncy after parting ways with Beau DeMayo.
Stay tuned to Collider for more updates from Big Lick Comic Con and coverage of X-Men ‘97 Seasons 2 and 3, and catch up on the first season on Disney+.

The Cancellation Of ‘Sherri’ Was Announced Earlier This Month

On Tuesday, February 3, per Variety, it was confirmed that “Sherri” had been cancelled after four seasons and production would officially wrap up in the fall. Debmar-Mercury, which distributes the show through producer Lionsgate, issued a statement confirming the news.
“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus via joint statement.
“We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms,” the statement continued.

The Cancellation Of Sherri Shepherd’s Show Follows The End Of Kelly Clarkson’s

“There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC,” Clarkson’s statement read in part.
“Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show.’ Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives,” she continued.
The “American Idol” winner closed her statement by thanking her fans: “I want to thank y’all so much for allowing our show to be a part of your lives, and for believing in us and hanging with us for seven incredible years.”

A Slow-Burn Crime Thriller in the Vein of ‘Zodiac’ Finally Finds Its Audience
Director David Fincher‘s fans got a first look at his new movie, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, with a typically exciting teaser this weekend. The movie serves as a spin-off to Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which grossed nearly $400 million worldwide in 2019, and will reunite Fincher with his frequent creative collaborator Brad Pitt. Although there’s no denying that The Adventures of Cliff Booth feels like a stepping stone for Fincher, nobody knows what he’s walking toward at this stage of his career. While his fans continue to wonder why he has hitched his wagon to Netflix — the director hasn’t had a theatrical release in over a decade — they can remind themselves of the good old days by revisiting some of his past masterpieces. Or they could check out a movie that may exist in the same universe as the film Zodiac and the show Mindhunter.
The movie in question had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023, ahead of a release on Netflix. However, since the streamer only acquired the domestic rights to the movie, it’s now seeing a spike in viewership on a rival platform. According to FlixPatrol, the film was among the most-watched titles on the global HBO Max charts over the Super Bowl weekend, when the leaderboard was topped by M3GAN 2.0. It served as the feature directorial debut of star Anna Kendrick, and was based on the stranger-than-fiction true story of how a serial killer was nabbed by the cops after appearing on a dating game show. The serial killer operated across the United States at around the same time as the Zodiac Killer, whose crimes served as the basis for Fincher’s Zodiac.
Here’s How ‘Woman of the Hour’ Was a Departure From the Norm for Serial Killer Stories
Kendrick’s movie is called Woman of the Hour. She also featured in the lead role of an aspiring actor who appeared alongside the serial killer, Rodney Alcala, in an episode of The Dating Game in 1978. The movie earned positive reviews and is now sitting at a “Certified Fresh” 91% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. The website’s consensus reads, “Deftly directed by star Anna Kendrick, Woman of the Hour uses an incredible true story as the foundation for a powerful examination of the intersection between systemic misogyny and violence.” Unlike most movies and shows about serial killers, Woman of the Hour spotlighted the victims and presented the story through the perspective of someone who escaped by the skin of her teeth.
