Hollyoaks star joins Emmerdale as ‘ambitious and ruthless’ new character – and it’s bad news for Billy Fletcher
A COUNTRY music star will travel between the worlds of music and acting as she makes a special appearance in Emmerdale.
Twinnie-Lee Moore is a 37 year old actress, singer, and songwriter from York, who also happens to be a country star, but she is hanging up her microphone for the time being to appear in the Yorkshire-based soap tonight.
She plays ambitious and ruthless boxing promoter Jade.
With Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) already drawn into the dark world of unlicensed boxing, Jade’s arrival will put pressure on him to continue this dangerous trade.
But Jade has an agenda and Billy’s safety is not on it.
He’s tempted by Jade’s offer and the financial promises that comes with it, but he’s also aware of the dangerous consequences it may bring.
Over the coming months, will Billy come to regret his association with callous Jade or has he already put his family in grave danger?
You may recognise Twinnie from Hollyoaks where she played Porche McQueen.
However, she took a brief break to focus on her career as a country music singer.
She has worked with greats such as Bryan Adams and is due to go on a tour with Keifer Sutherland.
But Twinnie will make a special appearance on the soap around her music commitments.
Speaking about her new role, Twinnie said: “My life has been a bit crazy recently juggling music and acting with lots of back and forth between Nashville and Yorkshire but I’ve been loving it!!
“I’ve loved being back on screen, especially as the show is shot in Yorkshire, being able to be home with family and go to work on such an iconic show has been nothing short of amazing!
“The whole team has been so welcoming and really supportive. My character is so much fun to play and I can’t wait to see how the audience reacts to her.”
During a previous appearance on Lorraine, Twinnie revealed that music has always been her lifelong passion, growing up in a musical family.
“Music my whole life,” she gushed.
” I’ve been on stage since the age of four and my first concert was Gilbert O Sullivan’s.
However, she pursued acting as her first love until a co-star persuaded her to explore her other talent,
She said: “I think what attracted me to country music is their ability to tell good stories, which is what I have tried to do in my songwriting.
“I have spent lots of time in Nashville, it is so intoxicating, I have several friends who are like family there. If you’ve never you should.”
From Hollyoaks to Hollywood
James Corden played a caretaker in the early days of the soap.
The former American TV host doesn’t have much positive to say about his time on the soap, claiming it was “hell on earth.”
Since his short-lived time on the show he has gone on to bigger things including smash hit comedy Gavin and Stacey.
Rachel Shenton joined the soap as aspiring glamour model Mitzeee Minniver in 2010.
Over two years her character was sent to prison, got pregnant and had a number of romantic affairs.
Since leaving Hollyoaks she has won an Oscar for best live action short film, The Silent Child.
Rachel has also starred in White Gold and All Creatures Great and Small
Emmett J. Scanlan played gangster turned anti-hero Brendan Brady.
Emmett played the love interest of Steve Hayes, with their romance delighting fans until it turned violent.
Since his departure Emmett has appeared in Peaky Blinders, The Fall, Gangs of London and even appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy
Emma Rigby joined Hollyoaks when she was 15 as Hannah Ahsworth.
Hannah’s eating disorder storyline was the first of it’s kind on TV while other plots included being caught in a fire, gangland drug dealing and running away.
Since leaving the soap in 2010 Emma has gone on to star in ABCs Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as the Red Queen. Other roles include guest appearances in Death In Paradise, Ripper Street and Fresh Meat
Nico Mirallegro got his big break with Hollyoaks starring as emo Barry ‘Newt’ Newton.
Nico’s main storyline in the soap was developing schizophrenia which culminated in a suicide pact.
He left the soap in 2010 and went on to star in My Mad Fat Diary, Our Girl, Rillington Place, The Ark and Common, Penance, as well as the Mike Leigh movie Peterloo and was nominated for a Bafta for his role in period drama The Village.
Ricky Whittle used Hollyoaks as a stepping stone to break America.
He played one of the soap’s resident hunks, Calvin Valentine, from 2006 to 2011 – when he was killed off at his wedding.
After leaving the soap Ricky cracked America starring in teen drama The 100 and America Gods.
He also appeared in Strictly Come Dancing in 2009.
Warren Brown joined Hollyoaks in 2005 for a year as evil Andy Holt.
His stint on the show consisted of date rape storylines and a crime spree, before eventually being killed off.
After leaving Hollyoaks, Warren became a big hitter in TV playing DS Justin Ripley in Luther, as well as major roles in a number of dramas including Liar, The Responder, Homefront and Good Cop.
Wallis Day played Holly Cunningham in the soap for years before leaving.
In 2021 Wallis won the role of Batwoman in DC’s series, taking over from Ruby Rose.
Watch out for her on Emmerdale, which airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Days of Our Lives star Drake Hogestyn’s cause of death announced
Drake Hogestyn’s cause of death has been announced.
The actor, who was well known for playing John Black in the long-running NBC soap Days of Our Lives, died on September 28 at the age of 70.
People reports that a death certificate confirms he died from pancreatic cancer, while other contributing factors to his death included vomiting, dehydration and whole body toxicity.
The actor was cremated at Rose Family Funeral Home in Simi Valley, California.
His death was announced by his family in a statement posted to the official Days Of Our Lives Instagram account. It read: “It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Drake Hogestyn. He was thrown the curve ball of his life when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, but he faced the challenge with incredible strength and determination.
“After putting up an unbelievable fight, he passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
“He was the most amazing husband, father, papa and actor. He loved performing for the Days audience and sharing the stage with the greatest cast, crew and production team in the business.
“We love him and we will miss him all the Days Of Our Lives.”
Hogestyn joined the soap in 1986 and featured over the years as a prominent cast member.
“This is a very difficult one for all of us,” Days of Our Lives executive producer Ken Corday said in a statement to People. “Hogey was the ultimate team player and there are not sufficient words to express how deeply he will be missed. His impact on our show, personally and professionally, was profound and will forever remain unmatched.”
Actor Alison Sweeney, who portrayed Samantha Brady, hailed Hogestyn as an “incredible man”.
In an Instagram post featuring a photo of the pair hugging, she added: “He was funny, generous and thoughtful. He cared about every single scene, every person.
“He loved Days, the fans, and shared that passion with everyone on set.
“My heart breaks for his family, they meant everything to him. He was such a huge part of my life at Days.
“I will miss him terribly and treasure every story, every joke & every hug.”
Kristian Alfonso, who played Hope Williams Brady, said she will always remember her late co-star as a “loving father, husband and dear friend, but mostly an incredible, passionate human being, generous and immensely kind, always”.
She paid tribute in an Instagram post with a video of photos of them laughing and smiling together.
She thanked him for the love he gave everyone on and off set, adding: “You were always our hero. Love you. Rest in peace my sweet friend.”

Tommy Fury ‘sends a secret message’ to Molly-Mae live on This Morning after he’s quizzed on cheating
TOMMY Fury ‘sent a secret message’ to Molly-Mae Hague live on This Morning after he was quizzed on the cheating allegations.
The pair, who met on ITV2’s Love Island in 2019, shocked fans when they announced their shock split in August.
Earlier today Tommy appeared on ITV’s breakfast show This Morning to talk about his new book Lightening Strikes Twice.
During his chat with hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shepherd, the boxer opened up about what the novel is about – and new chapter he added after their shock split.
Tommy could have sent out a message to Molly-Mae while on our screens as he is still wearing his promise ring that she got him.
It’s not the first time he’s worn the piece of jewellery recently.
Last month fans pointed out a huge clue that he was sending a sign to ex fiancée in one of his YouTube videos.
The reality favourite was seen wearing the gold band, that he wore before their engagement last year, on his finger throughout.
During his stint on This Morning, Tommy was faced with accusations that he had been unfaithful to Molly-Mae.
Ben said: “How do you deal with those critics because Molly-Mae put a statement out about the relationship, about the fact the relationship had ended, and (they) immediately jumped to the conclusion that you had done something wrong?
Tommy replied: “Yeah, no of course. I mean there have been a lot of critics out there and there will be critics out there until the day I die.
“Everyone will jump on the bandwagon when there’s a bandwagon to jump on.
“But at the end of the day, you know, out of respect for Molly and out of respect for myself and our relationship, I’m going to let us deal with that in private as much as we can.
“I’m just happy to be here today to talk about me book, and I want to leave all that stuff to me and Molly. We owe the respect to ourselves to do that.”
Ben was keen to get more out of the boxer.
The presenter added: “You did add an extra chapter, and there is one accusation you have addressed and there is this accusation that you cheated on Molly.”
Tommy told the hosts: “Yeah. Like I said I’m going to leave that for me and Molly to work through.
Timeline of Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury’s split
After five years together, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury split up in August 2024.
At around 4pm on Wednesday, August 14, Molly-Mae and Tommy suffer an explosive showdown and Molly-Mae announces her split from fiancé Tommy Fury, saying ‘ I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way’.
An hour later Tommy shares a separate and brief statement confirming they have parted ways, and thanks Molly-Mae for making him ‘a dad’.
The real reason they split emerges and on Thursday, August 15 The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae learned Tommy had cheated on her – leading to an explosive showdown.
On Saturday, August 17, The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae had been sent an upsetting video showing Tommy kissing a girl in a nightclub in North Macedonia on a lads holiday.
Exactly one week after the split a Danish woman accused of getting close to Tommy speaks to The Sun. On Wednesday, August 21, she denies she is the girl who kissed Tommy.
“At the end of the day a lot of that stuff has been put out there.
“The whole world has seen what we’ve been going through for the past month or two months, however long it has been.”
But Ben wanted to press for more, saying: “In the book you categorically deny it.”
“Yeah in the last chapter in there what I did was add all my feelings in there,” Tommy replied.
“I felt freely in the book to speak So that’s why I added the last chapter to keep everybody up to date.
“And it has been tough but you can read about it all in there.”
Molly and Tommy met in 2019.
The pair, who share a daughter called Bambi, got engaged last year.

Whoopi Goldberg fires back at Trump after he called her ‘filthy, dirty, disgusting’: ‘You hired me four times’
The View’s Whoopi Goldberg has clapped back at Donald Trump after he singled her out, calling her “filthy, dirty, disgusting” during his latest Pennsylvania rally.
On Thursday’s (October 10) episode of the ABC talk show, Goldberg, 68, and her co-hosts expertly fired back at the former president’s verbal attack.
“So we walked out to ‘Dirty’ by Christina Aguilera because it’s one of the words that you-know-who used when he was talking about me in particular,” Goldberg told the studio audience at the top of the hour.
“But he was talking about us at his rallies. And he spent two separate rallies ranting about Tuesday’s interview with Vice President Kamala Harris,” she added before showing a clip from Trump’s recent rally, in which he called the hosts “dumb” and claimed that Goldberg once fawned over him before he got into politics.
“Politics can do strange things to demented people,” he told the rallygoers. “Now, I’ve hired Whoopi to work for me as a comedian, before this stuff – a long time ago – and I went, and I’m not particularly shy about what I hear; her mouth was so foul, she was so filthy, dirty, disgusting, half the place left. I said I’d never hire her again.”
“I was filthy, and stand on that fact,” Goldberg said proudly to audience applause.
“I have always been filthy, and you knew that when you hired me,” she retorted. “I headlined, babe, at your casino, which I might’ve continued to play had you not run it into the ground. How dumb are you? You hired me four times.
“You hired me four times, and you didn’t know what you were getting?” she added. “How dumb are you?”
Host Sunny Hostin jumped in to add a “personal legal note.”
Speaking directly to Trump, she thanked him for “telling so many lies, and committing so many alleged crimes and providing us with material on a daily basis, you help us do our jobs and I’m so appreciative.”
“Because of people like you, a former prosecutor and legal expert can become a fixture on a show like this, and again I’m so grateful. I admit, I may have not spent as much time in a courtroom as you have,” she quipped, alluding to his string of lawsuits and legal troubles over the years.
“I was also recognized with a special achievement by the Department of Justice. You remember the Department of Justice right? It’s the agency that’s been pursuing you for decades. And like Madam Vice President Kamala Harris, I have had a history of prosecuting sex offenders, so thank you for keeping people like us in business,” she said.
“And as for dumb questions, you’re always welcome to come here and answer some, if sitting so close to a prosecutor won’t make you nervous. I’ll even give you a free View mug, not to be confused though with a mugshot.”

Strictly’s Chris McCausland reveals he & Dianne Buswell are covered in bruises after days of ‘intense’ training sessions
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Chris McCausland has admitted that he and Dianne Buswell have been left covered in bruises amid intense show rehearsals.
The comedian and his pro partner made the stark admission during an appearance on spin-off show, It Takes Two.
The duo are currently preparing to perform a Salsa routine this weekend on the show but have been hit by injuries during the long days of training and rehearsal.
Chris let his feelings be known about the dance as he insinuated it had been his hardest week of training to date but had pushed himself to his limits in order to perfect the routine.
Speaking to show host Janette Manrara, Chris said: “It’s been intense.
“There has been more lifts in it than Canary Wharf!
“There is tricks and lifts and we are both covered in bruises.”
Chris then pointed down to Dianne’s leg as he revealed she had been forced to apply body make-up across her legs in order to cover up her multitude of bruisings from this week’s training.
Comedian Chris then joked: “She’s had to use make-up to cover up all over her legs so it doesn’t look like I’ve been beating her up.”
Appearing exasperated, he then said: “It has been full-on.”
Despite this, Dianne admitted that training was going well thanks to Chris’ musicality which had allowed him to confidently pick up the moves required for the salsa.
Earlier this week, Strictly fans were left furious with Toyah Wilcox as she appeared to take a major swipe at Chris during her appearance on It Takes Two.
When she was asked if she had any advice for her fellow remaining celebs after she had been given the boot, Toyah laughed and started clapping, before pointing at the camera and shouting: “If you don’t want to do a dance off, get rid of Chris!”
Fleur then looked off camera and grimaced while Toyah then clarified: “You are all going to have to face a dance off.”
But her comment infuriated fans who took to social media to vent.
However, Toyah is now keen to set the record straight, and posted her own message on Instagram.
Sharing a picture of Chris, the singer wrote: “Just to clarify and clear up any confusion that’s flying around.
“My good friend @chrismccausland, is my favourite to win this year, I think he is inspiring and brilliant, he has worked so hard and I wish him nothing but love! Toyah x.”

1:30 My question to Ross Coulthart is : Why is this such an American phenomenon ? Why aren't other countries reporting frequent sightings and observations ? Why aren't videos of this phenomenon emerging from other parts of the world ? Most countries have militaries and radars and satellites, why are they not reporting similar incidents ?

Hell, they'll just sweep it all under the rug, like they usually do. Or just pull out the ridicule and slander narrative to keep everyone in their place. ⁶⁶⁶

Bread and circuses. UFOs and aliens are useful for keeping the masses distracted. They kept this secret for 80 years and suddenly now they are acknowledging it?

People have talked about this stuff my whole life, yet the only thing that's ever become clearer is the mental illness of those who insist they've witnessed 'aliens', and the grift of "UFO researchers".

They have been lying for almost 80 years people think now they are going to be told anything that isn't known. They have killed people to keep these Secrets.

They havn't yet disclosed the info because there are few ET groups secretly living here who are partly responsible for the cover up and more. People should still know about this and that there are very benevolent and powerful ET groups who are helping humanity to solve the situation.

Yes, keep the info coming, we've been waiting 100 years, maybe one day you'll actually find some legitimate evidence… Sorry, I'm just tired of being Charlie Brown waiting to kick the football Lucy is holding.

Is it me, or does anyone else find it strange that News Nation and this UAP phenomenon hit the scene at around the same time? Smells a little like a Gov. psyop. Just saying.

Unfortunately, I met two Alien Human Hybrids from 50,000 years in the future who didn't know they were Alien. They said there is no such thing as Aliens. Obviously, the Government never releases anything, and the entire story never comes out before the Rapture and Civilization is destroyed. These people in the Tic Tac's are the descendants of the people who went into their Deep Underground Bunkers with the Aliens in the near future.

There are many hi res videos and pics of alien ships. Then there are those who possess actual alien ships and bodies.
