ICICI Pru AMC IPO price band fixed at Rs 2,061-Rs 2,165, issue opens Dec 12

Mumbai: The ₹10,600 crore initial public offering (IPO) of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company will open on December 12 and close on December 16. The price band for the issue has been set at ₹2,061-2,165 per share.

The IPO pricing values the country’s second mutual fund with assets under management of ₹10.87 lakh crore at ₹1.07 lakh crore.

The market cap of HDFC Mutual Fund, the third-largest with AUM of ₹8.8 lakh crore, was at ₹54,580 crore on Monday.

The IPO will be entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of 4.89 crore shares by UK-based Prudential Corporation Holdings, the joint venture partner in the asset management company. This amounts to a 9.9% stake in the asset manager.

ICICI Bank currently owns a 51% stake in ICICI Prudential AMC, while the remaining 49% stake is held by Prudential Corporation Holdings. Separately, ICICI Bank informed exchanges that the bank will purchase additional shareholding up to 2% in ICICI AMC from Prudential Corporation Holdings.
