Emergency services called to three-car crash in Moses Gate

At around 1pm today (December 13) police and the ambulance service attended the scene just off St Peter’s Way.

The collision occurred where the motorway joins the Manchester Road, just before the junction with Smith’s Road, in Moses Gate.

Sean Hornby, who witnessed the scene after it happened, said: “There were three cars involved, and one of them has completely turned around, so it must have been a hell of a smash.

“You don’t see many crashes there at all, the police have it under control so there’s not much of a blockage at the moment.”

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and the North West Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
