Kit Connor and Joe Locke in Heartstopper ForeverImage via Netflix
Based on the webcomic turned graphic novel series by Alice Oseman, Heartstopperis a coming-of-age romance series that tells the love story of teenagers Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). After being assigned to sit next to each other in form class, Nick and Charlie strike up an unlikely friendship. The two live very different lives; Charlie has been bullied at school since getting outed as gay the year before, and Nick plays for the rugby team. Still, Nick and Charlie become very close very quickly, and they start to fall for each other along the way.
Heartstopper is a truly beautiful and well-written series that puts Nick and Charlie’s romance front and center. There is a sweetness to all of their scenes, but the show also doesn’t shy away from each of their deeper struggles. Additionally, Heartstopper is full of fantastic LGBTQ+ representation all around, with a fully-developed and nuanced cast of main characters who each have their own meaningful arcs throughout the course of the series.

Santa Clarita Dietis a hilarious dark comedy series that follows a normal family living in the suburbs of Santa Clarita: married couple and realtor duo Sheila (Drew Barrymore) and Joel (Timothy Olyphant), and their teenage daughter, Abby (Liv Hewson). One day, though, Sheila gets sick with a mysterious stomach virus and suddenly dies. Immediately, she comes back to life, and Joel and Abby realize that Sheila is now a zombie.
Despite her unfortunate new circumstances, Sheila feels like becoming a zombie has finally given her the chance to truly live for the first time. She wants to take risks and feel alive, and she’s ready to shake things up. It also means killing and eating people to survive, which she’s a little more concerned about. Joel loves Sheila more than anything, so he works to figure out how to help her kill as ethically and discreetly as possible. The result is a laugh-out-loud funny series with excellent zombie lore, a wonderfully over-the-top sense of humor, and a beautiful family story at its center.

Now, the three of them encourage Julie to start singing and playing music again. They push her to re-audition for the music program, but during the audition, they accidentally play with her. Your answers have pointed to one fictional hospital above all others. This is the ward your instincts, your temperament, and your particular brand of dysfunction were built for.

Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center
The Pitt
You are built for the most unsparing version of emergency medicine television has ever shown — one that puts you inside a single fifteen-hour shift and doesn’t let you look away.
You need your work to be real, not romanticised — meaning over drama, honesty over aesthetics.
You find purpose inside the work itself, not in the chaos surrounding it.
You’ve made peace with the fact that this job takes from you constantly, and gives back in ways that are harder to name.
Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center demands exactly that kind of person — and you would not want to be anywhere else.
County General Hospital, Chicago
ER
You are the person who keeps the whole floor running — not the most brilliant in the room, but possibly the most essential.
You show up, do the work, absorb the losses, and come back the next day without needing the job to be anything other than what it is.
You care about patients as individual human beings, not as cases to solve or dramas to live through.
You believe in the system even when it fails you — and you understand that emergency medicine is about holding the line just long enough.
ER is television about endurance. You have it.

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Seattle
Grey’s Anatomy
You came to medicine with your whole self — your ambition, your emotions, your relationships, your history — and you have never quite managed to leave any of it at the door.
You feel things fully and form deep attachments to the people you work with.
Your personal and professional lives are permanently, chaotically entangled — and that entanglement drives both your greatest disasters and your most remarkable saves.
You understand that extraordinary medicine often happens at the intersection of clinical skill and profound human connection.
It’s messy at Grey Sloan. You would not have it any other way.

Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, NJ
House
You are drawn to the problem above everything else — the symptom that doesn’t fit, the diagnosis hiding underneath the obvious one.
You’re not primarily motivated by the patient as a person — though you are capable of caring, even if you’d deny it.
You work best when the stakes are highest and the standard answer is wrong.
Princeton-Plainsboro exists to house one extraordinary, impossible mind — and everyone around that mind is there because they’re smart enough to keep up.
The only way forward here is to think harder than everyone else in the room. That is exactly what you do.

Sacred Heart Hospital, California
Scrubs
You understand that medicine is tragic and absurd in almost equal measure — and that the only sane response is to hold both of those things at the same time.
You are warm, self-aware, and funnier than most people in your field.
You use humour to get through terrible moments — and at Sacred Heart, that’s not a flaw, it’s a survival strategy.
You lean on the people around you and let them lean back. The laughter and the grief are genuinely inseparable here.
Scrubs is a show about learning to become someone worthy of the job. You are still very much in the middle of that process — which is exactly right.

‘Dark’ (2017–2020)

In 2017, Netflix released one of the greatest time travel series of all time. Darkis a German sci-fi thriller series that starts with a simple premise: in 2019, a child has just disappeared from the small town of Winden, and not for the first time. Back in 1986, another child suddenly disappeared, and both of these tragedies connect back to four central families. The series moves through its initial two timelines to follow these two investigations, all while slowly revealing more about the underlying supernatural factors at play.
Dark is a brilliant and suspenseful series with clever and thoughtful storylines, complex characters, and deeply emotionally resonant themes. Its core mysteries are engaging and handled very well, culminating in some of the best TV plot twists of all time. Dark draws its viewers in early on with its mystery box style of storytelling, while also slowly delivering a series of truly gut-wrenching and tragic reveals throughout its run.

‘Midnight Mass’ (2021)
Some of Netflix’s best series, especially from this last decade, are Mike Flanagan‘s collection of horror miniseries. An especially phenomenal show among these is Midnight Mass, which is set on the small and isolated Crockett Island. Riley Flynn (Zach Gilford) returns home for the first time in a very long time, after four years in prison for killing a teenage girl in a drunk driving accident. Riley lost the new life he’d built away from home when he was arrested, so he now has to move back in with his parents and reunite with familiar faces from his past. At the same time, a new pastor named Father Paul (Hamish Linklater) comes to town to take over for the church’s aging and ill priest.
Riley struggles to both make amends to the people from his past and stick to his sobriety without the routine of prison. All the while, Father Paul starts to perform shocking miracles that quickly win the entire town over. Riley is no longer religious, but through one-on-one AA meetings, he gets to know Father Paul. Slowly, though, Riley starts to realize that Father Paul is hiding massive secrets that could affect the whole town. Midnight Mass is a terrifying and suspenseful horror series with a captivating central mystery, but it is also just a truly beautiful masterpiece of a series. It explores themes of loss, religion, and guilt in creative and insightful ways, and its characters all feel very real.
Young and the Restless early spoilers for the week beginning August 24th with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) furious at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and declaring war on him with nothing out of bounds. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is also going to be angry when she finds out what Billy is up to. And I expect we are going to see her explode at him.
Also, during the week of August 24th through the 28th, we’ll see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) taking aim at a target, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sticking to neutrality as long as he can. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) arguing with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) struggling.
And as we always do on early edition day, we’ll go over what’s happening the rest of this week and then we get into what is coming next week.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki & Victor Get Romantic
Wednesday, August 19th on Y&R. Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are enjoying some romance and they’re talking about going back to Venice. Once Nick’s out of rehab and recovered, Nikki gives Victor a poetry book and he’s reading to her. Very romantic. They agree that Nick’s at a low point of life and Nikki is just glad that Matt is off the ranch, but she’d like to see the guy gone forever. Speaking of him, Sharon is startled when Matt pops up at the coffee shop and Sharon tells Matt, “Go away.”
He asks how Nick is doing in rehab. Matt feels really bad for doing this to Nick and needs to know how he is. Sharon says Nick is feeling defeated and lost. Matt says he’s sorry. Offers to help any way he can. Sharon says just leave. Matt says he’s got a job with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’s the only one who accepts him, so he’s not leaving. But Sharon says he and Phyllis won’t last.
Matt says he’d rather stay with Phyllis than run off and escape the hate. Sharon says that she earned forgiveness she got because she is bipolar. And Matt admits, “Yeah, that’s not him. He’s sane when he did all these things.” Sharon does believe that Matt’s really changed, but she thinks he would be happier elsewhere.
Y&R Spoilers: Matt & Sharon’s Heart to Heart
And Matt tells Sharon he feels like he is meant to be in Genoa City. And she says to her, “Matt seems stuck.” And then he cries a little bit and says he is. and he really wants forgiveness from her and Nick if nobody else. But Sharon says maybe he should just forgive himself. And if Matt moves away to a new place, the people will only know the good version of him.
But he vows to stick around, earn their forgiveness, and tell Sharon he knows it may take years and she hates to hear him say that. But Matt says, “Please tell Nick I ask about him.” And then he goes. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) finds Billy drinking champagne and he tells her Sally is back soon because her sister’s surgery went well. Audra wants to know what he’s celebrating and Billy says the Abbotts now own Chancellor and he should be running it by next week.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Audra & Billy Rub Sally the Wrong Way
Audra wants to know how, but he’s light on the details and she asks Billy what Sally thinks about it. Well, she doesn’t know, but Billy is certain that Sally is going to support him. Audra reminds him Chancellor was an issue between them before and she suggests that Billy try trusting her so they can talk this through. She says they can be friends for Sally’s sake. Billy reminds Audra she has no other friends and Audra says that’s why Sally is important to her. So, Audra proposes mutual trust and Billy says okay since you’ve been good with Sally.
They toast and as they’re boozing and smiling Sally walks in, sees them together. She does not look happy. Jack tells Kyle that Billy already confronted Cane Ashby and Lily. And Jack’s telling his son that Tracy and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) want to reign Billy in, but the bottom line is Jack says Billy’s already mad that he tried to talk him down and he demanded that Cane and Billy turn over Chancellor by the end of the week. Kyle says the case is actually really strong, but Jack thinks somebody’s going to wind up suffering, whether it’s Billy or Lily.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Protective His Father
And Kyle suggests bringing in Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), but Jack says that might be bad for her heart. So Kyle and Jack agree to leave Billy to it, good or bad. Jack’s one concern is damage to John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) legacy. So, if they start taking hits at his dad, that’s the point Jack’s going to get involved. Lily tells Cane that her legal team gave her bad news.
If Billy’s documents are legit, they’re probably going to lose. Cane says the other Abbotts don’t like what Billy’s doing, but they won’t intervene. And Cane and Lily agree to fight and exploit Billy’s many weaknesses. Cane and Lily are ready to go dark.
Cane mentioned Jack’s warnings about John’s reputation. And while Lily really doesn’t want to fight with the other Abbotts, she’s not going to stop and she’ll do anything she has to to keep Chancellor. She will play dirty. She vows to make Billy regret this. Jack and Kyle run into them and Jack says sorry for what Billy’s doing.
Lily snarks that Jack hasn’t even tried to stop him. And he tells Lily he can’t talk Billy out of it. Lily doubts that and thinks that Jack is loyal to Billy, whereas Lily is motivated by loyalty to Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). And Lily makes it clear she won’t stop. Thursday, August 20th on Young and the Restless. Billy’s new Chancellor plot isn’t sitting well with Sally. I’m sure she’s going to ask what he and Audra are celebrating together. And Sally is already annoyed about that.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily Winters – Sally Spectra
Young and Restless Spoilers: Traci Gets a Happy Surprise
So, when she hears this is all about Chancellor, I expect her to completely lose it. Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), and Christine Williams reunite for a girls night at the Shadow Room and Chelsea and Adam are butting heads at the office. I’m sure this is about Billy making a grab for Chancellor. We’re also going to see Cane. He’s supposed to make a new alliance. Now, that spoiler was on Tuesday and that never manifested. So, it may be happening in another day because I think it’s going to happen pre-Friday based on a Friday spoiler or writers just wrote a bad spoiler, but I do expect Newman Media gets involved in all of this. So, Cane may go see Victor.
Young and the Restless: Chancellor War and Personal Struggles
Friday, August 21st on Young and the Restless. Lily goes to Jack asking for help. She’s hoping Jack will reign in Billy, but he already told her no. So, we’ll see if Lily has a better angle that might make Jack more sympathetic. Sharon gets an update from the rehab center about Nick and Victor has a plan to discredit Billy and Victor’s going to flip out and get in the mix once he hears that Billy is going after Chancellor.
So, he may be the one that Cane and Lily are allying with. Then the week of August 24th through the 28th, Cane and Lily are in war mode. They are gearing up to take down Billy. Even though Jack didn’t want to call Jill, Cane might actually do it. Matt keeps hoping for Sharon’s forgiveness. Matt, of course, really terrorized her, but Sharon does believe that he’s changed.
We’ll also find out if Jack has second thoughts about weighing in on this war with Billy, who’s going after Lily. We’re going to see more of Nick in rehab and whether he’s getting much closer to Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow). You’re not supposed to be involved in rehab, but Nick might dive into something with Marie while they’re going through this same struggle.
Y&R Spoilers: Billy May Lose Everyone
Billy’s obsession with Chancelloris going to strain his relationship with Sally, with Jack, and also his sisters. And Billy could end up pushing everybody away. Phyllis should have a really fun reaction to Billy snatching Chancellor from Cane. And I think she’s going to love it because she loves chaos.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie are sparking. I’m excited to see where that goes. I’m also really hoping we get good news about the surgery on Nate’s hand. We should find out about that soon. Things are going to be tense between Chelsea and Adam because of Billy and this Chancellor chaos, but this actually might smooth things over with Victor and Adam working against a common enemy. Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) seem to be edging towards saying I love you.
But Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) growing connection with Kyle isn’t sitting well with Claire. She’s already giving a little side eye about it. And Holden might have some feelings about Nate sparking with his mom Stephanie. And we’re going to see Billy hitting back at Victor after the attack he launches on him the prior week. And I’m sure Sally is going to try and get Billy to stop before it’s too late and just focus on their growing family, but he won’t do it.
MLB star Pete Crow-Armstrong previously opened up about his surprising connection to the late Hayden Panettiere. Crow-Armstrong, a standout center fielder for the Chicago Cubs, revealed in 2022 that he met Panettiere through his mom, Ashley Crow, who once starred in the series “Heroes” alongside Panettiere.
4MEGA
Crow-Armstrong, 24, revealed in a 2022 interview with NBC Chicago that he met Panettiere when he was younger through his mom. In fact, Panettiere, who played Claire in “Heroes,” used to babysit the major league baseball player. “I had the biggest crush on her. Yeah, I’d say she was probably the coolest one for me,” Crow-Armstrong said.
Crow-Armstrong said that he enjoyed being around some of the older actors and the rest of his mom’s co-stars. Even then, he stated that his parents tried to keep him as shielded from life in the spotlight as possible. “Nothing about my childhood had anything to do with the entertainment business, it felt like, because I think my parents wanted me as far away as possible,” he said.
Crow-Armstrong’s comments have resurfaced after Panettiere died suddenly on Sunday, August 16. According to The Blast, the “Remember the Titans” star was pronounced dead at a residence in South Carolina after first responders were called to a home about an “unresponsive” person.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” a statement from her team read.
First responders and officials are waiting to share more details about Panettiere’s death. However, medics shared that when they arrived on the scene, they found Panettiere in cardiac arrest. According to CNN, dispatch audio referenced a potential overdose. Even then, nothing has been confirmed yet.
According to several reports from The Blast, Panettiere spent the last few months promoting her book, “This Is Me,” in which she details her struggles with addiction. In 2023, she told a publication that she used alcohol as a “coping mechanism” after dealing with postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter, Kaya.
“Alcohol might make you feel better at that moment, but it makes you feel so much worse the next day, and then you do it all over again,” she said. Later, Panettiere said that she also used medication to help manage her depression, which she described as “extreme hopelessness.” Panettiere said that she should’ve “gone on antidepressants,” but said she used what worked. “They don’t mix well with alcohol, and I wasn’t ready to stop drinking,” she shared.
Panettiere’s Mother Said She Believes Her Daughter Is At ‘Peace’ With Her Brother
Panettiere’s mother, Lesley Vogel, released a statement after her daughter’s death and reflected on the challenges that the “Bring It On” actress had navigating the world of Hollywood.
“I think it becomes very difficult to be true to yourself, and I think Hayden sadly lost her way, and I wish it were different. I wish she had stayed true to herself because she had many incredible attributes,” she shared.
Continuing, Vogel said she feels her daughter is “at peace” with her younger brother, Jansen, who died at 28 in 2023.

Tributes Pour In For Panettiere
Panettiere’s Hollywood peers have all rushed to social media over the last several days to share their tributes and pay their respects to the late actress. Solange Knowles shared a series of pictures on her Instagram Stories and wished her former co-star peace.
“I salute your journey, and I honor the work we created together that became something that really means something to people. Reaching people we couldn’t have ever imagined at the time, as two young girls trying to keep looking to the light. The light surrounds you now. Rest easy, Hayden,” she said.
Beyond the Gates early spoilers for the week starting August 24th, including Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) danger level increasing, but he’s got no idea he’s not on the road to recovery. Plus, we’ll see Dana Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) in a lonely spiral of her own making, and it is her mess to fix.
Also, the week of August 24th through the 28th, Nicole Dupree (Daphne Duplaix) rides to the rescue, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) is making some threats, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) suspicions grow, and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) is not very happy to be interrupted.
And as we always do on early edition day, we talk about what’s happening the rest of this week and then we get into what is happening the week ahead.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Anita & Veron’s Plans Interrupted
On Wednesday, August 19th episode of BTG, we’ve got Vernon’s plans with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) getting sidelined. And my guess is that’s because somebody in the extended Dupree family needs them for something.
Recently, Vernon made the family a little squeaky when he was talking about his and Anita’s very healthy sex life. So, Vernon might have been planning an evening of romance and, you know, bedroom activities. And I do wonder if Anita and Vernon though are going to be called to come to Uptown’s open mic night.
Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) is taken by surprise. Ashley brings her to her apartment where Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) and Grayson Perez (Jordie Vilasuso) are waiting with food and drinks and they all yell surprise.
So, everything is stressing Naomi out all that’s going on with her dad, Bill. So this is a much needed night off from all of that. Plus Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre are both coloring outside the lines of their marriage. She’s keeping the elevator sex with Bill a secret, plus her ongoing concern over him, and Andre is keeping the ugly truth about Heather stalking him secret.
So, they’re both trying to protect each other and their marriage, but Dani and Andre are heading for some upset. Nicole scores points with Noah after she saved the night for him. So, with her and Kyle going to his open mic night, I wonder if Nicole is going to bring in Anita since Noah is a total fanboy for Nicole’s mom.

BTG Spoilers: Ted & Bill Bond
Then, Thursday, August 20th on Beyond the Gates, we’ve got Bill and Ted bonding over similar shared history. When I say Bill and Ted, I always think Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure. So, both of them were married to Japri daughters. Both are now divorced and on the outs with the family.
I expect Ted to stop by and see Bill, who may complain to Ted about Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) getting kicked out of his hospital room. That little vixen was trying to stop his heart, and Bill’s too dumb to realize it. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) sees Nicole having an unexpected reaction to something, and this causes her to do some self-examination while Kyle is right there watching Nicole work through it.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Marcel Clashes with Leslie
So, this may be something to do with Ted, maybe Carlton. I tend to think Ted. Maybe they run into Shanice Johnson (Earnestine Johnson) and Ted while they’re out and Nicole has some sort of jealous reaction. Leslie also has to face the issues from her romantic past before she can move forward. We all saw that lecture from Eva about the fact that she will never be with Ted. And then we had Leslie making a call to Marcel Malone (Daryl W. Handy) telling him to show up for her.
So, we’re going to see him at Leslie’s hotel room and things don’t go well. Marcel winds up walking out on Leslie who’s basically howling in frustration. So, I wonder if Marcel says he only wanted a fun time with Leslie or that he can’t be with her because she’s so hung up on Ted still. Eva Thomas Richardson (Ambyr Michelle) and Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami Friebe) have a difficult discussion and share some hard truths with each other. But they’re pretty good communicators, so I think this could be beneficial and they may get even closer to each other.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Randy Grows Suspicious
Then, Friday, August 21st on Beyond the Gates, we have Joey, of course, ordering Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) and his other henchmen to keep a much much closer eye on Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones). So, it could be that Randy is lurking right near her hotel room door or spying on it from nearby where he can see in her window.
Maybe he gets a room across the hall. But he has to carry out Joey’s orders. And I suspect Randy sees Andre going into Heather’s room, and that is information that Joey will find very intriguing. But Joey may worry that Andre is leaking information to Heather about Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) since she and Dani are so close. Joey might even share this with Bill or find another way to leverage what looks like very suspicious activity from Andre.
We’ve also got Dani and Hayley taking verbal swings at each other again. Ashley had security haul Hayley out of Bill’s room after she crawled into his hospital bed and triggered his heart monitor. So Dani may ream Hayley for risking Bill’s life like that, which is exactly what Hayley was trying to do.
Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Bill Hamilton – Leslie Thomas
BTG Spoilers: Dani & Hayley Spar
And then Madison Montgomery (Kenjah McNeil) gets conflicting info from two opponents. And since she’s back from Denmark and up at the hospital working on Bill’s case, I’m guessing she has to mediate between Hayley and Dani. Each has their own side to the story. Hayley’s desperate and Dani’s angry. All this fighting between Dani and Hayley could be what drives Bill to his breaking point. But this is also going to spark something in Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) who is haunted by unresolved trauma.
So I wonder if she’s going through some kind of flashbacks to her kidnapping and torment from her crazy stalker for some reason. Speaking of crazy, Andre is terrified of Heather. But he still rejected her when she tried to seduce him, but she’s not going to take no for an answer from Andre. They are face to face by the end of the week and things could get messy. I expect Heather to make some threats about Dani trying to force Andre’s hand. But I don’t think that he’ll respond like Heather wants.
Beyond the Gates: Hospital Drama, Threats, and Spirals
And in fact, I think Andre is going to clap back at Heather with some threats of his own. But Andre is on thin ice because let’s be real, Heather’s a sociopath. And I’m still waiting on her to show Andre that selfie that she took with Dani and Vanessa, so Andre will know that Heather can easily get to Dani. That means she can hurt her if Andre does not cooperate. And of course, we know he does not want to cooperate.
The week of August 24th through the 28th on Beyond the Gates, Joey’s got to figure out what to do with this information about Andre sneaking off to meet with Heather. I’m curious to see if Joey maybe has Andre picked up and brought to the casino to talk in private to find out what is his connection to Heather and if Vanessa is in danger. And of course, Andre is going to be stuck walking on eggshells around Heather because Andre knows whatever threat she makes, Heather is capable of following through on them. Meanwhile, Smitty is hot on her trail because he still wants to expose the identity of the Impaler.
BTG Spoilers: Hayley Desperate to Kill Bill
So, the journalist may wind up on Heather’s radar and Smitty might be in danger. Bill is frustrated with being stuck in the hospital and is pushing hard for his release. Little does he know, heading home is a dangerous proposition. Hayley will likely dose him again with those drugs and then try and ride him all the way to the grave.
Hayley has got to find a way to finish off Bill. And I’m confident she’s going to make another move soon. And of course, she wants to get away with it. So, she may need to meet with Randy again. But he’s a bit preoccupied trailing after Heather for Joey. And I wonder if Hayley’s going to wind up banned from the hospital, period, if she keeps acting up and trying to get frisky in Bill’s room.

Leslie is frustrated because Marcel walked out on her and Ted’s with Chenise and Nicole is happy with Kyle and Eva is in a really good place with Isaiah. So basically karma has come for toxic Leslie and she’s all alone and is going to be spiraling. The question is whether she can convince Marcel that she is worth pursuing for a relationship and that she can let this Ted thing go.
I don’t think she can. Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) is going to have some more run-ins with Naomi. And he basically just told her, “I answered to Bill, not you.” Which is fair and accurate. But Naomi is not going to take any disrespect from Tomas. And this is going to put Kat in a rough position because she supports Tomas. But she loves Naomi, too. So, another thing that’s about to get messy on BTG.

Marvel Studios may have another massive box office hit on its hands, as early ticket sales for Avengers: Doomsday are reportedly running well ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
According to early sales data, Avengers: Doomsday is currently pacing approximately 65% ahead of the first two days of pre-sales for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The numbers are particularly impressive considering Doomsday is still roughly four months away from its December release.
The comparison carries plenty of weight after the enormous performance of Brand New Day. The latest Spider-Man movie recently surpassed $2 billion worldwide, becoming Sony Pictures’ highest-grossing film ever and only the eighth movie in history to reach the $2 billion mark.
That makes the early pace for Doomsday an encouraging sign for Marvel Studios. Advance tickets initially went on sale for roughly 1,000 premium large-format theaters, giving the film a considerably more limited footprint than it will have once its full theatrical rollout approaches.

Avengers: Doomsday [marvel studios]
Avengers: Doomsday will bring together one of the biggest collections of Marvel characters ever assembled on screen. The film features the return of Robert Downey Jr., this time as Doctor Doom, alongside heroes from the Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Russo Brothers return to direct after previously helming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
The film will also arrive during one of the biggest box office weekends of the year. Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Threeis scheduled to open the same day, setting up the highly anticipated “Dunesday” showdown on December 18. Early demand appears strong for both films, with limited IMAX 70mm screenings of Dune: Part Three also drawing significant interest.
While advance ticket sales don’t guarantee how high a movie will ultimately climb at the box office, Doomsdayoutperforming the early pace of a Spider-Man movie that went on to cross $2 billion is certainly a strong start.

Blueface Was With Chrisean Rock When Akira Went Into Labor
The Shade Room previously reported that Blueface was with Chrisean Rock when Akira went into labor. The rapper was live-streaming as he drove Rock to the airport when he received a call from the expectant mother, who said she was having contractions every two minutes.
“I’m in labor,” Akira said. “I’m by myself.”
Blueface told his fans that he was canceling his plans to go to the hospital.
“My baby mama in labor right now,” he said. “It looks like I will be spending my time in the hospital. You guys wanna come? She’s in labor right now.”

Ayla Bell has found a pretty effective way to swerve one of adulthood’s most unavoidable small-talk questions.
The Houston-based social media star, who has built a following of millions with her dance, lifestyle, and fitness content, recently poked fun at the question of what she does for a living.
Now, Bell is explaining why the seemingly innocent question is not always so easy to answer and why she sometimes prefers to keep people guessing.
Bell walked into frame on August 10, placed a finger to her lips and swayed from side to side as Saucy Santana played in the background.
“How I be dodging them ‘what do you do for a living’ questions,” she wrote over the clip.
Followers seemed more than happy to let Bell keep her secrets. The comments quickly filled with heart-eye and fire emojis, cheeky requests for her to “bounce right over here” and fans calling her “gorgeous,” a “goddess” and their “queen.”
At least one person, however, walked straight into the joke. “What do you do!?” they asked.
Ayla Bell Reveals Why She’d Rather Keep People Guessing
Speaking exclusively with The Blast, Bell admitted that the question tends to make her laugh because explaining her career is not quite as simple as giving someone a conventional job title.
“I always laugh when people ask me what I do for a living because it’s one of those questions I never know how to answer without turning it into a whole conversation,” Bell tells The Blast.
“Social media is such a big part of my life, but there are so many different sides to what I do, so sometimes I’d rather just dodge the question completely,” she continued.
Bell Says The Viral ‘Quiet On The Creek’ Trend Was Perfect For Her
Rather than attempting to squeeze her career into a brief explanation, Ayla Bell found a much funnier way to address the question online.
“That’s why the ‘Quiet on the Creek’ trend was perfect for me — it was funny, it fit the moment, and honestly, sometimes it’s better to just keep people guessing,” she tells The Blast.
The sound also happens to fit Bell’s joke almost perfectly.
“Quiet on the Creek” began as an offhand remark from Saucy Santana, who recalled during a TikTok Live that people had to remain quiet while fishing to avoid scaring away the fish.
The phrase eventually took on a life of its own online, becoming a playful way of telling people to keep something private, mind their business or simply move in silence.
Bell’s version, however, turned the phrase into an answer for anyone curious about how she describes her increasingly unconventional career.
Ayla Bell Has Built A Massive Audience Online
For anyone who ignored Bell’s warning and still wants to know what she does, the short answer is that social media has become a significant part of her career.
Bell has amassed millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram, where her content includes dance videos, workouts, travel snapshots and glimpses into her everyday life. She also offers exclusive subscription content via links on her social profiles.
The 22-year-old’s rise has happened relatively quickly.
According to Famous Birthdays, Bell began posting on TikTok in November 2022, with one of her earliest videos showing her dancing while holding her dog. She has since built her TikTok following to more than 2 million users.
Bell’s athletic background also helps explain why fitness and movement appear so frequently in her content. Before becoming known for her online presence, she participated in track and field, and fitness remains part of the lifestyle she shares with followers.
Her content is not restricted to carefully choreographed dance clips either. Bell has given followers glimpses of her pets, including her rabbit, while her interests away from social media include spending time at the beach.
Bell Turned TikTok Into A Career In Just A Few Years
Bell’s social media trajectory also reflects how dramatically the definition of a career has changed for a generation of creators.
What began with videos posted online has grown into an audience numbering in the millions and a recognizable personal brand spanning multiple platforms.
She has also shown an ability to tap into popular music and online trends. In March 2024, for example, Bell posted a lip-sync video featuring a sped-up version of Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me.”

That mix of dancing, fitness, lifestyle content, and viral trends has helped establish the creator’s identity online without forcing her into a single category.
The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen has worn many looks since Stan Lee and Bill Everett first introduced the character to readers in 1964. He started his run within Marvel Comics wearing a mix of yellow, black, and red, before moving to the iconic red Daredevil outfit that most fans know today in one form or another. In his early days as a crime fighter, Frank Miller also depicted Matt Murdock in a more DIY all-black outfit with a bandana for his pivotal miniseries, Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. A few of these looks and others have since been translated to television thanks to the Netflix Daredevil series, its Disney+ follow-up, Born Again, and other appearances from the character over the years. However, in the wide world of comics, there’s no limit to the different designs of the character.
With Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 on the horizon, the blind lawyer is bound for another wardrobe change. Last season ended with Matt (Charlie Cox) being sent to prison after revealing his identity as the titular vigilante in a gambit to dismantle Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) empire and clear Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). That setup seems to pave the way for the introduction of his prison outfit as seen in the comics, but set photos have also shown an MCU-exclusive spin on the armored Daredevil costume that may be on the way when the show returns next year. Before then, though, Marvel has unveiled an entirely new look for the character that eschews the mask entirely in favor of something more snazzy.
Last fall, the wildly popular multiplayer team-based shooter Marvel Rivals welcomed Daredevil to its roster of heroes and villains with a fresh costume unique to the game that gives Matt a more armored, samurai-like feeling. Since then, he’s been given one new skin after another like his peers, from a summer outfit letting him show off his beach bod to an ugly Christmas sweater boldly claiming he’s not Daredevil. The official Marvel Rivals X account has now confirmed that his next new outfit will be a nearly all-red three-piece suit as part of the “Attorney at Law” bundle. It leans into his day job as a lawyer, complete with a slicked-back hairstyle that shows he means legal business. This outfit doesn’t come entirely from nowhere, as the Daredevil 2014 comic run saw Matt embracing his secret identity in the courtroom after it was revealed and he moved to San Francisco, but the new version is even more spruced up with a silver chain. The pack is set to launch on August 21, the same date as a new pair of pristine outfits for Cyclops and Phoenix.

‘Marvel Rivals’ Isn’t Slowing Down Deep Into Year Two
Marvel Rivals has remained a big draw ever since NetEase launched the free-to-play title back in late 2024. In its second full year of release, Disney touted that the game has managed to draw in over 40 million players worldwide and counting so far, which is no small feat and serves as a testament to how much the MCU in particular has cultivated a passion for these characters. There’s been no shortage of support as the game’s life has gone on, too, with 20 new playable characters added so far to bring the roster up to 53 and counting. Season 9 capitalized on the recent launch of X-Men ’97 Season 2 by adding Jubilee to the fray alongside the latest addition, The Hood, with more to come as the year draws to a close.
Marvel Rivals is available to download for free on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A Nintendo Switch 2 edition is also currently in development. Check out the official trailer for the new Daredevil: Attorney at Law pack in the player above.
