Bitcoin just exploded more than 8%, reclaiming the $68,000 level and pushing toward $70,000 — but the price move may be only part of the story.

The bigger development came from Washington.

President Donald Trump said the United States is considering buying “sizable” amounts of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, while also calling on Congress to pass the CLARITY Act and reaffirming his goal of making America the undisputed leader in crypto.

Cathie Wood and Raoul Pal believe the crypto market may finally be approaching the turning point investors have been waiting for. After months of frustration, weak sentiment, and sideways price action, improving on-chain indicators, rising institutional interest, stronger liquidity conditions, and accelerating technological adoption could create a much more powerful environment for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and the broader crypto market.

In this video, ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood explains why she believes Bitcoin is beginning to “find its legs” again. After acknowledging that ARK underestimated the weakness that followed the previous crypto sell-off, Wood says key on-chain indicators are becoming more constructive and the longer-term digital asset thesis remains firmly intact.

One of the biggest changes in Cathie Wood’s outlook involves stablecoins. She previously worried that stablecoins could take over some of the roles Bitcoin was expected to play. Today, she sees a future where both technologies benefit from the growth of digital payments, artificial intelligence, and agent-driven commerce.

As AI agents increasingly transact autonomously, stablecoins could become an important form of programmable digital money, while Bitcoin continues developing as a scarce digital asset and long-term store of value. Wood believes both could benefit as traditional finance increasingly moves toward blockchain-based infrastructure.

Cathie Wood is also extremely optimistic about the broader technology revolution. She believes artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain technology, automation, and other disruptive innovations could generate powerful productivity gains while driving costs lower across the economy.

Her most important macro prediction is that inflationary fears could eventually give way to deflation. If technological innovation pushes costs lower while productivity rises, Wood believes the next few years could create an unusually favorable environment for investors positioned around disruptive technologies and digital assets.
