Miguel’s Ex Nazanin Mandi Reveals Engagement After Secret Child
Nazanin Mandi has found her happily ever after, and the 40-year-old is sharing the news. Mandi was previously married to singer Miguel.
The pair started dating as teenagers around 2005 and dated for over a decade before getting married. Mandi filed for a divorce in 2021, and after a brief reconciliation, finalized in 2023.
Mandi and Pimentel’s story has had its fair share of plot twists, including a secret baby just two years after their divorce. Now, it seems the model has finally found a love story worth talking about.
Nazanin Mandi Announces Engagement To Michael Gilroy
In an open love letter to her future husband on Instagram, the “Forever Mood” singer gushed about her new beau, confirming he popped the big question.
“My Michael,” she began. “The respect, peace, and love we share are otherworldly. They are the foundation of everything we are building together. The model then gave her fiancé his flowers, writing:
“You are truly one of one. The man who changed my life in the deepest, most sincere way. I would happily experience every tear, every moment of loneliness, and every season of solitude all over again, knowing you would be waiting for me at the end of it all.”
The declaration of love continued as she expressed how much being Michael’s wife meant to her, calling it an honor.
The story might be straight out of a storybook. However, Mandi revealed the real magic was in the little details.
“The proposal was a complete fairytale, but our truest joy lies in the calm we bring out in one another daily. Our tranquil home, snacks and laughter in bed until 2 a.m., school drop-offs, and the greatest gifts of all ~ Queen Soraya and the expansion of our family & legacy, I can’t wait,” she gushed.

As Mandi looked forward to a new chapter of her life, her ex-husband Miguel has been busy writing a new story of his own.
Barely a month ago, the “Sure Thing” singer’s partner, Margaret Zhang, displayed her baby bump at the HollyShorts Film Festival in Los Angeles.
BCK Online reported that the “Adorn” singer attended the HollyShorts Film Festival opening night on August 13, where he received the Music Visionary Award. Zhang joined him for the special screening of “Papá Melissa,” a documentary the couple co-produced.
Miguel Revealed His First Child Two Years After Divorce From Nazanin Mandi
The second child comes a year after the singer shocked fans with news of his 1-year-old child, Angelito, who he had secretly welcomed with the fashion designer a year earlier.
The “Sure Thing” singer posted a joint social media post with Zhang to celebrate his firstborn’s first birthday. “Our baby turned one today,” the caption of the post read, showing the singer holding his child with a blurred-out face.
The Grammy-winning artist also used the opportunity to share his new song, which was directed by partner Zhang. “Papa wrote you a song; hope it always reminds you of how loved you are,” he rounded up the caption, nudging everyone to listen to it and cry, per The Blast.
Miguel Pimentel Revealed The Reason His Marriage To Nazanin Mandi Ended
Nearly three years after Mandi and Miguel called it quits, the Hollywood star revisited the chapter and shared why he believes their marriage ended.
He revealed he was focused on his career and not mentally prepared for a relationship, confessing he could have communicated that better to Mandi at the start. The Blast reported that Miguel admitted to several actions on his end that set them up for failure, although he did not go into detail.
Pimentel defended his actions, adding, “But when you meet someone, and you’re like, ‘Man, I really need something special here,’ I can see where everything happened.” He confirmed, however, that he and Mandi still share a tremendous amount of love.
Miguel And Nazanin Mandi Got Divorced Three Years Ago
Despite a 17-year relationship, three of which they spent married, Miguel and Mandi could not seem to get on the same page, and in 2023, the award-winning singer revealed that their divorce was finalized.
According to The Blast, they had entered into a written agreement regarding their marriage and property, leaving them with just a signature to officially end things.
The former lovebirds had no children, and custody issues were part of the court proceedings.

Princess Alexandra of Hanover took style notes from her late grandmother Grace Kelly.
Alexandra, 27, was as good as gold in a beaded vintage Givenchy dress once worn by Kelly, who died at age 52 in 1982.
In the photo shared via Instagram, Alexandra stunned in the dress featuring thick straps, a scoop neck, a fitted bodice and a small train. The royal, who is the daughter of Princess Caroline, accessorized with a black clutch, a delicate necklace and of course, her stunning yellow diamond trilogy engagement ring from her longtime love Ben-Sylvester Strautmann.
Alexandra let the look speak for itself and rocked soft glam including black eyeliner, mascara, rosy cheeks and pink, lined lips. Her strawberry blonde hair was parted down the middle and worn down and in a blowout.
“Yellow mood in archival givenchy 🌝,” Alexandra captioned the post. Her fans praised the vintage style moment in the comments section.

Kelly first wore the gown in 1962 while celebrating the wedding of Don Juan Carlos de Borbon, the Prince of Spain, and Princess Sofia of Greece, in Athens. For the evening, she styled the dress with a diamond necklace and earrings, white gloves, a small purse and a sash across her chest. She made the look even more elegant with soft makeup including long lashes, as well as a sleek bun.
Kelly attended the wedding with her husband, Rainier III of Monaco, who died at age 81 in 2005.
Kelly and Rainer III tied the knot in April 1956. The following year, she gave birth to Caroline, now 69. In 1958, they again expanded their family when they welcomed Prince Albert II, now 68, and later Princess Stéphanie, now 61.

Former Notre Dame football player Phil Jurkovec was arrested over the weekend after allegedly stealing a rental box truck from the parking lot of a Pennsylvania hospital.
Jurkovec, 26, was hit with a pair of felony charges for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, according to court documents viewed by Us.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday, September 18, at Wexford Hospital in Allegheny County just outside of Pittsburgh. Police were called to the hospital’s valet lot, where an employee of equipment rental company Rental Time said he was about to start loading tables and chairs into the truck when it was stolen.
“He heard the doors open and close and all of a sudden the truck just took off,” Rental Time owner Deborah Clager told CBS News. “I thought he was joking. There’s no way this is happening.”

“It’s easy to spot,” Clager said, adding she was “shocked” when she learned who the alleged thief was. “It’s not a sports car that’s easy to zip in and out. It’s a huge, 18-foot box truck.”
Court records show Jurkovec was unable to post the $25,000 bail and he is being held at Allegheny County Jail. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 30.

Jurkovec is a former four-star recruit who came out of high school as the No. 2-ranked quarterback in Pennsylvania and the tenth-ranked QB in the country. He began his career at Notre Dame, where he played from 2018 to 2019, before transferring to Boston College and eventually playing at Pittsburgh.
His best season came in the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign with the Eagles, where he started 10 games, throwing for 2,558 yards and 17 touchdowns.
After college, he was invited to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ minicamp in 2024 but did not make the team. He later worked as a legislative aide for Pennsylvania state representative Josh Kail, but a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania House Republicans said his employment ended in November 2025.

Forget ‘Black Mirror,’ This 10-Episode Sci-Fi Series Is the Perfect Replacement on Prime Video
If you finished watching Black Mirror but aren’t in the mood for yet another story about technology taking over your life, it is time to dive into Electric Dreams. Based on the work of Philip K. Dick, one of the most eminent science fiction writers, Electric Dreams turns 10 of his stories into standalone episodes filled with complex topics such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, political paranoia, alien invasions, and more.
The series aired in 2017-2018, and its cast made it even more impressive. Looking at the cast, one would think it is not an anthology but a blockbuster. The series features Bryan Cranston, Steve Buscemi, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Juno Temple, Janelle Monáe, Richard Madden, Holliday Grainger, Maura Tierney, Greg Kinnear, Vera Farmiga, among others.
What Is ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’ About?
The show’s biggest strength is its variety. Each episode has a different focus: “The Hood Maker” follows a telepath recruited by the police in a society that treats people with mind-reading abilities as a dangerous underclass; “The Commuter” turns an ordinary train station into the gateway to an impossible town where people’s troubles can seemingly disappear; “Real Life” dives into virtual reality and identity, while “Human Is” asks whether someone who comes back from an alien planet is still the same person.
Then there are stories like “Autofac,” which imagines a post-apocalyptic world where an automated factory continues churning out products long after humanity has effectively disappeared, and “Kill All Others,” a particularly pointed story about political propaganda, conformity, and a population becoming disturbingly comfortable with dehumanizing rhetoric. That’s a lot of ground to cover in 10 episodes. It’s also exactly why Electric Dreams works so well as a binge; if one story doesn’t click, another is only an hour away.
‘Electric Dreams’ Is More ‘Blade Runner’ Than ‘Black Mirror’
Black Mirror frequently takes a piece of technology and asks what happens when humanity uses it in the worst possible way, while Electric Dreams is more interested in the philosophical mess underneath the technology. Its stories repeatedly circle questions about memory, identity, grief, love, free will, and the definition of humanity itself.
Dick’s work has influenced some of the most recognizable science-fiction movies and television shows of the past several decades, including Blade Runner, The Man in the High Castle, and Minority Report. His stories explored the possibility that reality itself might be unreliable—and that humans might not be particularly good at recognizing what is real.
Several episodes make that idea particularly unsettling. “The Father Thing” follows a young boy who becomes convinced that an alien has replaced his father, and the aforementioned “Human Is” similarly centers on a man who returns from an alien world seemingly transformed, only for his wife to discover that the person she thought she knew may no longer be there.
These Are the ‘Electric Dreams’ Episodes You Shouldn’t Miss
Like most anthologies, Electric Dreams has its share of uneven installments. “The Commuter” is arguably the season’s standout, with Timothy Spall giving the story an emotional center as a father desperate to escape the pain surrounding his family. The episode has the eerie simplicity of classic The Twilight Zone, but its real power comes from its refusal to treat an easier life as automatically better.
“Impossible Planet” is another highlight, blending space adventure with a surprisingly tender story about memory, aging and grief. Meanwhile, “Autofac” benefits enormously from the pairing of Temple and Monáe, turning a familiar story about automation and corporate excess into one of the season’s most entertaining hours.
“Kill All Others” feels especially difficult to ignore now. Mel Rodriguez plays an ordinary man who hears a political candidate deliver a horrifying command that everyone else seems willing to dismiss. As the phrase spreads, the episode becomes a grim examination of propaganda, racial division, and the danger of treating increasingly extreme rhetoric as background noise.
For anyone missing smart, unsettling science fiction that isn’t afraid to get weird, Electric Dreams remains one of Prime Video’s most overlooked genre offerings. It may not be as consistently brilliant as the best of Black Mirror, but with 10 self-contained stories and a ridiculous amount of talent packed into them, it’s an easy recommendation for anyone looking for something that will make them question reality — and possibly themselves.

Comedy and horror have been intertwined since the dawn of both genres on the big screen, as scares and laughs stem from the same nerves in our bodies. One of the templates of modern comedy-horror hybrids is nearly 40 years old, but it hasn’t aged a day. You can’t tell the story of Widow’s Bay‘s success without acknowledging landmarks like Beetlejuice, Tim Burton‘s breakthrough 1988 film that shattered the line between farce and terror. Despite its imitators, and even a 2024 legacy sequel directed by Burton, nothing has ever touched the power of Beetlejuice, which has been one of HBO Max’s top 10 most-streamed films for several weeks.
‘Beetlejuice’ Combines High Art and Popular Sensibilities
Despite the towering legacy surrounding it today, Beetlejuice‘s premise and execution are shockingly simple and effortlessly structured. The Maitlands, a deceased couple sheltering in a nice small town residence, attempt to scare off the Deetzes, a frustrating family who have moved from the big city to purchase their home. Following this setup, what follows is 90 minutes of rollicking laughs, chills, and wildly inventive visual storytelling. Revisiting it all these years later, it’s easy to forget the seamlessness of the story construction, as well as the sparse presence of its titular character, played by Michael Keaton in a career-changing role that proved he was a screen presence unlike any other. Beetlejuice is filled wall-to-wall with great scenes, from the iconic “Day-O” number in the dining room to Beetlejuice’s first meeting with Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara Maitland (Geena Davis). By the end, this skit-heavy film has the weight of a cinematic masterpiece.
Beetlejuice is a transformative experience for impressionable viewers and savvy film buffs alike, and the blend of Burton’s fascination with German Expressionism and classic slapstick appeals to all audiences. The gothic imagery, canted angles, and heightened production design recall the indelible cinematography of F.W. Murnau‘s influential silent movies, notably Nosferatu. Infusing the cinema of Murnau or Fritz Lang with pop elements is Burton’s special gift, and his second feature film is the most succinct outline of this flourish. Burton has walked in the footsteps of legendary animator Ray Harryhausen throughout his career, and Beetlejuice was a brilliant evolution of stop-motion animation and miniature sets.
Of course, Beetlejuice is a shotgun blast of sheer entertainment, fueled by the film’s comedic influences, from the Looney Tunes and The Three Stooges. The surrealist imagery of German Expressionism perfectly suited the wacky hijinks inspired by the classic cartoon series, and the slapstick of the Stooges and the Marx Brothers added another element of absurdity. Burton, whose follow-ups, including Edward Scissorhands and Ed Wood, cemented his idiosyncratic style, recognized the particular cohesiveness between comedy and horror. Throughout Beetlejuice, your body is prompted to both laugh and shudder at some of the garish visuals and haunted themes. Even with such an ornate concept, the film operates like a well-oiled machine.
The Enduring Legacy of ‘Beetlejuice’
Beetlejuice‘s seismic influence extends beyond other comedy-horror hybrids like Widow’s Bay. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, in 2024, reunited Burton with Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara, and Winona Ryder and had 36 years of build-up as a cultural artifact. Along with a cartoon series and a wave of merchandise lines, Beetlejuice‘s aesthetic and attitude defined an entire generation. Lydia Deetz, played by Ryder in a career-making turn, represented the rebellious, disaffected angst of teenage life and perfectly juxtaposed the WASP-y and conformist nature of the Maitlands. Burton’s idiosyncratic style and worldview, including gothic imagery, alienated outsiders, dissection of the idyllic American suburb, and an anarchic spirit, were firmly cemented in just his second feature.
Buried under all the zany charisma and farcical set pieces is a melancholic streak that has made Beetlejuice thrive as something more than an inventive comedy-horror experiment. The film taps into the vulnerable souls of teens and young adults who feel misunderstood, and Lydia’s curious fascination with death and the afterlife is equally morbid and enlightening. Most impressive of all, Beetlejuice lacks any self-importance when reflecting on these themes. Because the film is so refined and immaculately constructed, this leaves room for the audience to interpret greater meanings into this absurdist story. All these years later, with countless imitators, the juice is forever loose.

The fourth annual $100K Charity Giveaway is back, with $100,000 pledged to Nevada nonprofits and $100,000 pledged to Arizona nonprofits, and voting opens to the public this month
A Las Vegas law firm is putting $200,000 on the table for charity, and leaving it up to the public to decide exactly how it gets split.
Dimopoulos Law Firm has officially relaunched its $100K Charity Giveaway for a fourth year, pledging $100,000 to charities in Nevada and $100,000 to charities in Arizona. Six nonprofits, three per state, are competing for a share of the money, but there’s no risk of walking away empty-handed. Every organization is guaranteed a donation. Public votes simply determine how much each one receives.
HOW THE VOTING WORKS
Voting opened September 21 at 5 p.m. Pacific at 100KGiveaway.com and stays open through October 31 at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific. Winners will be announced December 1, once vote totals are verified.
Nevada voters can choose from Make-A-Wish Nevada, GiGi’s Playhouse Las Vegas, and The Shade Tree, which provides shelter and support to women and children experiencing homelessness or domestic violence. In Arizona, the field includes Phoenix Children’s Foundation, GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix, and the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children.
Nevada charities are only ranked against other Nevada charities, and the same goes for Arizona, so it’s a state-by-state competition rather than one combined leaderboard. First place in each state earns $50,000, second place earns $30,000, and third place still takes home $20,000. Ties are split evenly between the tied organizations. Regardless of how the vote breaks down, each state’s full $100,000 is guaranteed to reach the charities.
Anyone 18 or older and a U.S. resident can vote once per day, and there’s no purchase, donation, survey, or signup required to participate. The vote itself doesn’t come with a personal prize either. All $200,000 goes directly to the six nonprofits.
A CAMPAIGN BUILT TO OUTLAST THE CHECKS
Steve Dimopoulos, founder of Dimopoulos Law Firm, says the campaign is about more than the dollar amount.
“No one should have to face their hardest days alone,” Dimopoulos said. “Our message for this campaign is simple: Together We Win. These charities do extraordinary work, and we want more people to know about it. If this campaign helps a family find support, brings a charity a new volunteer, or inspires someone else to give, its impact can continue long after we’ve delivered the checks.”
That extended impact is by design. On top of the $200,000 in donations, Dimopoulos Law is separately covering paid promotional campaigns for all six participating charities, including social media advertising, radio spots, and sponsorships with local radio personalities, at no cost to the organizations. The goal is to give each charity a bigger platform than a single check could provide, helping them connect with new donors, volunteers, and families who need their services.

Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian are two stylish peas in a pod.
“OK guys, this looks a little crazy right now, but this is what it really looks like!” Jenner, 29, said via YouTube while showing racks of clothes for her to potentially pack for a trip to Saint Tropez. “I’m going to a wedding so I’m gonna try all of my dresses on [and] make sure the tailoring is good and then start packing.”
“We’re fitting this right now,” she said while backing away from the camera in the butter yellow dress, featuring underwire cups, spaghetti straps, a corset bodice and a ruched skirt finished with a thigh-high slit. “It’s going to look a lot better,” Jenner told the camera of the design.
In the next clip, Jenner got a spray tan before hopping on her private jet. “Europe, here we come!” she said.
Kardashian, 45, first wore the look in May 2018 while attending a dinner hosted by the Business of Fashion. At the time, she styled the piece with a gold chain bracelet and Versace hair clips pinning back her mane.
For glam, she donned glowy skin, filled-in eyebrows, long lashes, smokey eyeshadow and nude, glossy lips.
This isn’t the first time Jenner has gotten her style inspo from Kardashian. In 2015, Kardashian wore a white strapless Mikoh bikini featuring a bandeau top with strings attaching her cups and matching low-rise bottoms. Jenner wore the same look, pairing the swimsuit with a gold watch, a statement necklace and black sunglasses.

It’s never a bad time to be Russell Crowe — except if you’re being asked about Gladiator II in interviews even though you’re not in it — but this week is turning out to be especially epic. Last Friday, Crowe delivered his best-reviewed film in nearly three decades, the Western drama The Weight, which also features Ethan Hawke. With the sort of reviews that The Weight has received — it’s sitting at a “Certified Fresh” 93% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes — it can be safely assumed that the film will also do well when it hits the home video market. That said, it grossed more than $2 million in its domestic box office debut this past weekend, playing in roughly 1,500 theaters nationwide. The Weight‘s 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, makes it Crowe’s best-reviewed movie since The Insider, which was released in 1999. The aggregator’s consensus reads, “The Weight turns a stripped-down tale of desperation into a gripping, hard-hitting thriller, elevated by Ethan Hawke’s magnetic performance and Padraic McKinley’s assured direction.”
Russell Crowe’s Audience Is Showing Up for Him
Coinciding with the film’s release, three of Crowe’s earlier movies have found a new life on streaming. According to FlixPatrol, the crime thriller film The Get Out is currently the number-one movie domestically on Paramount+, while Crowe’s 2024 thriller Sleeping Dogs charts globally on Prime Video. Neither The Get Out nor Sleeping Dogs was particularly well-received — the two films hold 45% and 44% scores on Rotten Tomatoes — but the third Crowe movie on the streaming charts is something of a modern classic. We’re talking about Peter Weir‘s epic historical action movie Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, which is currently among the most-watched movies on the domestic Apple TV leaderboard. Anna Camp took inspiration from a fan favorite reality TV host while leading HGTV’s A Very Haunted Renovation.
“I have to say, I’m a huge Love Island fan, and everyone would say, ‘What are you doing now, Anna?’ And I was like, ‘I’m kind of the Ariana Madix of HGTV’s Haunted Renovation,’” Camp, 43, exclusively tells Us while promoting her new home renovation series.
“She was my hero, my reality host hero, you could say,” the Pitch Perfect star adds of Madix, 41, who has hosted Peacock’s Love Island USA since season 6 in 2024.
A Very Haunted Renovation, which premiered on HGTV on September 15, follows six designers who spend 31 days inside Fremont, Ohio’s Bihl Manor, a famously haunted Victorian home, to renovate it and win a $50,000 cash prize. The contestants must eat, sleep, live, and work inside the haunted house while tackling elimination challenges and fighting their own fears — a recipe for some serious tension.
“Sometimes when you’re watching them, and they say things like that, you’re like, ‘Wait, they’re not joking,’” Camp tells Us of contestants who declared they weren’t there to make friends. “‘Oh no, they’re really serious right now.’ And it would get really tense in those, like, elimination rooms. And I found myself, like, very involved, like personally with everyone, and I wanted everyone to just be happy.”
She continues, “I started trying to make jokes, like break the silence, and then the producer in my ear would be like, ‘Anna, this is serious, be scary,’ and I’d be like, ‘Sorry, have to snap back into character.’ But yeah, no, I got very involved watching everyone compete and say some really crazy things to each other.”
Camp is no stranger to the horror world, as she starred in the supernatural film From Black in 2023 and the slasher sequel Scream 7 earlier this year. Plus, Camp tells Us she’s a longtime fan of HGTV, making A Very Haunted Renovation the perfect project for her.
“I’ve always been just, like, fascinated by how much work that they get done and the amount of time that these designers do it in,” she explains. “So I was just very excited to jump at the chance to host the show, especially because it dealt with ghosts.”
Camp adds, “I welcome the spooky vibes and the scare stuff. And a lot of crazy things happened during the shoot too. So it was really fun.”
Of course, it wouldn’t be a haunted reality series without a few ghost sightings — something else Camp is no stranger to.
“Most recently, I’m staying in an Airbnb here in New York, and I think it’s haunted because I keep going back to my closet, and I have things hanging really nicely, and I keep going back, and there’s one shirt on the ground on a hanger. It’s like, why does this one shirt keep falling off the hanger, and the garbage can door keeps opening, and I keep pushing it back, and then two seconds later it will be open?” she shares.
“Maybe they’re following me,” Camp says of the spirits at Bihl Manor. “The ghosts are following me. As long as they’re friendly, I’m OK with it.”
