As Tom Cruise returns to the big screen with the off-the-wall satire Digger next month, one of his lesser known movies has become a streaming hit on HBO Max, where it’s among the top 5 most-viewed films. His follow-up, released later in the year, is the engrossing true story of Barry Seal, a TWA commercial pilot who is caught by the CIA smuggling cigars in from Cuba. He is recruited to fly reconnaissance missions over Central America, and eventually act as courier for them.
During one mission, he encounters the Medellín Cartel, who ask him to fly drugs back on his return flights. Playing both sides for his own benefit, Seal enjoys the fruits of his success, until his luck begins to run out. The unbelievable true story was brought to the big screen by Doug Liman, who had previously worked with Cruise on Edge of Tomorrow. However, this movie was a very different prospect to the 2014 hit.

When you say the name Tom Cruise, certain images come to mind – a fighter pilot with the American flag on his uniform, a spy saving the world at the last second, or a sports agent telling the love of his life, “You complete me.” For forty years, audiences have known the actor as the quintessential hero, so it’s fascinating to see him in the few roles where he plays a bad guy. In 2004’s Collateral, he played the ruthless Vincent, a man who doesn’t even blink when carrying out the most heinous of crimes. Ten years earlier, in Interview with the Vampire, he was Lestat, a bloodsucker who reveled in his evil deeds. Dept. Of Agriculture Explains Meat Recall
Star Meat Delivery Inc., based in Lucama, North Carolina, is recalling more than 167,000 pounds of raw pork, beef, and goat nationwide. The USDA said that number could grow as it continues its investigation. The agency said it discovered the problem during the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service’s routine checks. It’s not clear whether officials have arrested or criminally charged anyone.
The products ended up at the Georgia distributor A&D Foods for distribution to retail and restaurant locations nationwide.
However, the agency warned that some packages people purchased may not bear that labeling. That’s because retail stores may have applied their own stickers with pricing and safe handling instructions.
No Reports Of Illnesses Yet
Food produced without inspection may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants, the Dept of Agriculture said Tuesday (Sept. 22) in announcing the meat recall. So far, there have been no confirmed reports of illnesses or injuries from the meats, according to the USDA.
Company Responsible Reacts To Recall
Star Meat Delivery, in a statement posted on its Facebook page Thursday, pushed back at the notion that the inspection stamps on its products were somehow falsified.
“No other products sold by Star Meat Delivery were mislabeled, and no other products sold by Star Meat Delivery are part of the recall that has been issued,” the company said. “We are cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities to finalize the application and are following the recall procedures that have been put into place.”
The USDA didn’t immediately respond to Star Meat’s statement. Recalls triggered by forged inspection stamps are relatively rare, according to Keith Schneider. Keith is a food safety professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
“This is someone taking a shortcut,” he said. “Systems are in place to catch these sorts of things and it appears the system worked as intended. You can’t skip inspections.”

Plus, it’s extremely moving and affecting, with themes of what it means to belong, found family and working together in the face of adversity. However, that behind-the-scenes groundwork didn’t extend to a stint on “Dancing With The Stars,” despite earlier speculation.
Professional dancer Derek Hough had a hilarious take on it. He shared an AI-generated photo of himself and the music legend seemingly posing for cast photos.
“When Céline calls, you answer,” the caption teased, per The Blast. “Just waiting for the call.”
He added that after an encounter with Dion, he was convinced she would be the perfect dance partner.
What initially looked like an ugly family confrontation involving Milania Giudice, her mother Teresa Giudice, and sister Gia Giudice now appears to have unfolded during a much more serious personal crisis.
A since-deleted video posted by the 20-year-old showed her angrily confronting her family while police officers stood nearby at Tampa International Airport. At the time, the clip offered almost no explanation for why authorities were involved.
Newly surfaced dispatch information, however, paints a more concerning picture. Police were reportedly told Milania had recently been released from a hospital, was experiencing a mental health crisis, and had become separated from a counselor traveling with the family.
Milania Giudice’s Deleted Video Initially Looked Like A Family Blowup
Milania uploaded the brief airport video Wednesday before removing it from social media.
The footage showed several officers near the Giudice family as Milania repeatedly questioned what was happening. Teresa could be heard responding to her daughter with the same message several times: “I love you.”
Gia eventually told her mother, “Let her do what she wants to do,” before Milania angrily told Teresa to “shut the f–k up.” The video then ended.
Without further context, the exchange quickly circulated as another heated Giudice family moment. However, information released afterward suggests viewers were seeing only the final minutes of a much more complicated situation.
According to the source material obtained by Page Six, authorities had been alerted that Milania had gotten away from the people accompanying her and that a counselor was at the airport with the family.
Police Records Give The Airport Clash A More Serious Context
A computer-aided dispatch log obtained by TMZ reportedly said officers were told Milania was experiencing “suicidal thoughts/mental breakdown” and had recently been released from St. Anthony’s Hospital.
The call came into Tampa International Airport police at approximately 2:20 p.m. Wednesday and was classified as an “Assist Person” incident at the United Airlines ticket counter.
According to TMZ, one dispatch note indicated Milania had gotten away while a counselor remained with an officer, while another said Teresa could see her daughter running through the terminal.
The records also referenced a “possible Baker Act issue.” Florida’s Baker Act allows an involuntary mental-health examination under specific statutory circumstances, including when a person is believed to face a substantial risk of serious harm without intervention.
However, there has been no public confirmation that Milania was actually placed under a Baker Act hold.
Milania was located roughly 10 to 12 minutes later and ultimately returned to the gate. Airport officials told TMZ there was no arrest, no medical transport, and no formal police report generated from the airport call.

Those newly reported details also change how Teresa’s behavior in the deleted clip may be viewed.
While Milania appeared frustrated and increasingly agitated, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star did not appear to argue back. Instead, she repeatedly told her daughter that she loved her as Gia walked nearby.
The family was also reportedly traveling with a counselor, another detail that was not apparent when the video first circulated.
After Milania was located, she eventually boarded a flight with her family, according to reports.
Neither Milania nor her family has publicly provided a full account of what led to the hospital visit or airport incident.

Milania Previously Admitted She Was ‘Not In A Good Area’ Of Her Life
The latest incident comes during an already difficult year for the University of Tampa student.
As The Blast previously reported, Milania was arrested in New Jersey on May 14 and charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute.
Prosecutors alleged that she struck an individual identified as “LR” in the forehead. Milania has pleaded not guilty, meaning the allegation has not been established as fact.
After details of the arrest became public, Milania acknowledged going through a difficult period without revealing everything behind it.
“I was not in a good area in my life,” she said in June, adding that the public did not know everything happening behind the scenes.
During an August court appearance, attorney Alan Kraminsky told a judge that Milania had enrolled in anger-management classes. The hearing was postponed until September 29 to allow her to complete the program and give prosecutors additional time to review evidence and speak with officers.
Milania Has Also Been Coping With A Devastating Personal Loss
The past several months have brought another major emotional blow.
In July, Milania lost her childhood best friend, Victoria Zardoya, at just 20 years old. Zardoya suffered fatal injuries after an accidental fall while exploring the Fort Dade ruins on Egmont Key in Florida, according to PEOPLE.
Milania publicly mourned the woman she considered both a best friend and sister and later got a “Baby V” tattoo in her memory.
Other members of the Giudice family also paid tribute to Zardoya, whom Joe Giudice described as being like a daughter to him.
The late Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, raised eyebrows in royal circles with his tell-all memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister — and according to a source, King Charles III was particularly affected behind the scenes.
“Everyone inside the palace is completely beside themselves that Diana’s brother would publish such lies,” the insider exclusively tells Us, claiming that the British monarch, 77, is “devastated” by the revelations. “He doesn’t recognize the person Charles Spencer is portraying.”

“Everyone around [King] Charles during that time knows that he was anguished by her passing and it threw him into depression for years,” the source claims. “Only those closest to him know how hard of a time that period was. Insiders are aghast because they know how hard he took it.”
The insider tells Us Diana’s death was “an emotional time for everyone” who knew her or admired her from afar.
“It was a mixture of personal grief and public grief. The personal layer no one saw and there was a lot more that hasn’t been described,” the source notes. “And there was a public layer to give the public what they wanted.”
Swan Song has caused those in the palace “a lot of sadness, anger and hurt,” but not much can be done in response, the insider claims.
“They took the revelations really hard and have felt powerless,” the source alleges. “Those closest to them know the truth, that’s all that matters.”

Days before Swan Song’s publication, Buckingham Palace issued a rare statement addressing its contents.
“While we do not comment on books as a matter of principle, His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgement and color memory in ways others do not recognize even many years after such a loss,” a spokesperson for the palace told Us earlier this month.
