A crypto tidal wave is building, and four things happened today that change everything for crypto. In this video I connect four headlines that on their own each matter, but together show how different the world is becoming from the one we’ve spent the last few years investing in. Wall Street is building new ways to access assets on chain, regulators are preparing for it, and AI could create entirely new demand for crypto rails, all developing right after the end of the multi-year balance sheet contraction. It’s a red day for Bitcoin (BTC), but I think the bigger picture is a new bull market taking shape.

I cover the New York Stock Exchange and Blockchain.com working toward tokenized stocks and ETFs for more than 44 million accounts, the head of the CFTC talking about preparing markets for assets moving on chain and trading 24/7, and BlackRock’s new research on AI agents using stablecoins and blockchain to settle payments. I also break down the Treasury’s plan to buy back up to $6 billion of longer-term debt, the end of quantitative tightening after the Fed reduced its holdings by more than $2 trillion, the post-QT dip we’re coming out of, and what a sustained business cycle expansion could mean alongside real adoption. Pullbacks of 30 to 50% are still normal in bull markets, and I explain why I’m not letting the next red candle distract me from what’s being built.
