10 Actors Who Appeared in Both Harry Potter and Star Wars

Published

on

Warwick Davis as Professor Flitwick in 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone'

It’s time to break the illusion: actors are not actually the characters they play. And yes, that means they might cross multiple major franchises. In the world of major pop culture movie franchises, there are very few that are bigger and more beloved than Star Wars and Harry Potter. Though one is a science fiction space opera and the other is a magical fantasy epic, there is a crossover in themes, thus drawing in a familiar demographic.

The two major IPs are massive, but one shocking fact is that they only share a handful of performers who have appeared in both worlds. The names on this list must have played a part, either big or small, physical or vocal, in both franchises. For Star Wars, the expanse includes films, spin-offs, and television series, both live-action and animated. For Harry Potter, we’re limiting it to simply the eight films and not the Fantastic Beasts films — sorry Jude Law, Mads Mikkelsen, and Jessica Williams. It’s time to journey through the Wizarding World and a galaxy far, far away to celebrate 10 actors who were granted the chance to play in both worlds.

Warwick Davis

There might not be a more distinct individual to play in both universes than the incomparable Warwick Davis. A heavy-hitter actor in heavy-hitting franchises, the unique thing about Davis and his tenure in both worlds is that it wasn’t a one-and-done experience; the British acting legend has played multiple roles across multiple projects in both universes. It all started when he began his acting career at 11 years old, portraying Wicket W. Warrick, the brave Ewok who befriends Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), in Return of the Jedi. The character was so beloved that he was carried over into multiple other projects, including the Ewok TV series and The Rise of Skywalker. Davis became part of the Star Wars family, tacking on various roles in a handful more films, including Anakin Skywalker’s (Jake Lloyd) friend Wald and the alien Weazel in The Phantom Menace, Wollivan in The Force Awakens, Weeteef Cyubee in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, DD-BD in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Wodibin and Kedpin Shoklop in The Last Jedi. Needless to say, Davis is a go-to for Lucasfilm.

Now, in the Harry Potter Universe, Davis is most famous for portraying Professor Filius Flitwick. He had two different iterations of the Charms Master and Head of Ravenclaw House as he appeared as an elderly wizard with a long, white beard in Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets, while director Alfonso Cuarón gave the character a youthful, clean-shaven makeover for Prisoner of Azkaban onward. But wait, there’s more! In Sorcerer’s Stone, Davis was briefly seen as a goblin bank teller at Gringotts. In Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2, he took over the role of Griphook from Verne Troyer, though Davis had dubbed his voice as Troyer was American, and the British rule was in favor of the production. It would be unfair to call Davis a utility player, but it’s evident that the actor is more than reliable; he’s iconic.

Domhnall Gleeson

One of the more prominent figures to play major roles in both universes is the Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson. While we may know him as a rule-keeper as Ned Sampson on The Paper, in both franchises, Gleeson took a walk on the dark side, as a good guy and a bad guy. In the earlier part of his career, Gleeson took on the iconic role of Bill Weasley in Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2. The eldest son of Arthur and Molly Weasley (Mark Williams and Julie Walters) and older brother to Ron (Rupert Grint), Ginny (Bonnie Wright), and the rest of the Weasley siblings, Bill is a highly accomplished wizard, having served as Head Boy at Hogwarts and working as a Curse-Breaker for Gringotts. In the first part, Bill marries Fleur Delacour (Clémence Poésy), where the cremation is overrun by Death Eaters. He then becomes a protector of the Order, providing shelter for many survivors, before ultimately braving the front lines against Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). Though the character was largely shafted in the front end of the series, he stands out as a good guy in the final chapter. As a legacy child in the film, he is also one in real life, as he is the son of Brendan Gleeson, best known as Mad-Eye Moody.

Now, to his notorious brush with the dark side as General Armitage Hux. Appearing in all three films in the sequel trilogy, Hux is a ruthless, highly ambitious, and fanatical high-ranking officer in the First Order. Hux had a fierce loyalty to the Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis), but his bitter rivalry with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) led to a power struggle and a diminished role. Jealousy and pride ultimately caused Hux to become a spy against his own regime, which ultimately resulted in death. Hux was a fascinating character because Gleeson was quite committed to his highly divisive role.

Julian Glover

English actor Julian Glover has had quite a prolific career on stage and screen. The classically trained performer may have an Olivier Award, but his legacy comes from playing iconic villains and authority figures across major pop culture universes, including Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Grand Maester Pycelle in Game of Thrones. But for the two franchises we’re here to discuss, Glover started his reign as General Maximillian Veers, the Imperial officer who led the AT-AT walker assault on the Rebel base on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back. Unlike many of the officers under Darth Vader’s command, Veers was highly competent and earned Vader’s genuine respect for destroying the massive shield generator protecting the Rebel base, paving the way for the Imperial victory.

His role in the Wizarding World is a bit more unique. He served as the voice of the giant spider Aragog in Chamber of Secrets and Half-Blood Prince. The sentient Acromantula owned by Rubeus Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane) and raised in secret, Aragog was falsely blamed for opening the Chamber of Secrets when they were at school together. His major contribution in his first film was revealing the truth about the basilisk to Harry (Daniel Radcliffe). The spider passes away in his second appearance, in which Harris holds an emotional funeral, attended by Harry and Professor Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent). It’s a consequential death as it gives Harry the chance to bond with Slughorn. Though Glover hasn’t been a part of any major pop culture franchises since, he did appear in a project with Warwick Davis: Willow. It’s all tied together!

Gryffindor Tower · Scarlet & Gold

🦁 Gryffindor

You have nerve. Not the reckless kind, but the deep, quiet courage that shows up even when you’re terrified — especially then.

  • Gryffindors don’t act because they’re fearless — they act because they understand that some things are worth being afraid for.
  • You stand up for people when it would be easier to look away.
  • You charge toward what’s right even when the odds are terrible.
  • Harry, Hermione, Ron — the heroes of Hogwarts’s greatest chapter — all called the tower with the scarlet and gold home. And now, so do you.

Slytherin Dungeon · Emerald & Silver

🐍 Slytherin

You are driven, sharp, and utterly clear-eyed about what you want and how to get there.

  • Slytherin has long been misunderstood — painted as the house of villains when it is, at its best, the house of those who refuse to accept limits placed on them by others.
  • You are resourceful, strategic, and you play the long game.
  • You know your worth. You protect your own fiercely.
  • The dungeon common room with its view of the Black Lake is yours — and the ambitions that will take you further than anyone expects are yours too.

Hufflepuff Basement · Yellow & Black

🦡 Hufflepuff

You are the kind of person that makes the world genuinely better just by being in it.

  • Hufflepuff is not the “safe” house or the “leftover” house — it is the house of those with the greatest heart and the most unwavering integrity.
  • You show up. You work hard. You don’t need glory or recognition — you do what’s right because it’s right.
  • Your loyalty never wavers, even when tested.
  • Nymphadora Tonks, Cedric Diggory, Newt Scamander — some of the wizarding world’s finest. And now you join them.

Your mind is your greatest gift, and you’ve always known it.

  • Ravenclaws are the thinkers, the questioners, the ones who find a puzzle irresistible and a good book better company than most people.
  • Ravenclaw is not merely about intelligence — it’s about the love of learning, the pursuit of truth, and the rare courage to admit you don’t know something yet.
  • You see the world with unusual clarity and depth.
  • Luna Lovegood, Filius Flitwick, Rowena Ravenclaw herself — all extraordinary, all original. And so are you.

Shirley Henderson

Babu Frik in a scene from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Image via Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

At the age of 36, Shirley Henderson played a child in Chamber of Secrets. Her time was spent playing one of the most iconic characters in the entire series: Moaning Myrtle. First appearing in Chamber of Secrets, Moaning Myrtle is a ghost of a former Ravenclaw student who was killed by the basilisk in the second-floor girls’ bathroom in 1943. Now, stuck there for eternity, she is known for her emotional outbursts and wailing. Played brilliantly by Henderson, she was known for teasing and mocking Hermione (Emma Watson), flooding the bathroom, and ultimately being a hero to Harry during the Triwizard Games in Goblet of Fire. The little ghost girl has become the role the Scottish star is known for playing. It’s the voice! Whether appearing in a guest role in Doctor Who or a prominent part on Dept. Q, audiences struggle to separate the star from the ghost on camera.

In the Star Wars universe, her face was not used, as she voiced the breakout character Babu Frik in Rise of Skywalker. The skilled alien mechanic with the memorable catchphrase worked with the Spice Runners on Kijimi, helping Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and Zorii Bliss (Keri Russell) by translating Sith text from C-3PO’s memory, despite the risk of wiping out the droid completely. If you were eager to see more Anzellans like Babu Frik, you were in luck as Henderson was featured in The Mandalorian as well as The Mandalorian and Grogu. It’s safe to say, in both of these worlds, Henderson will forever be remembered by her voice.

5

Kathryn Hunter

andor-kathryn-hunter Image via Disney+

There are certain actors that you see that you instantly know by face, but might not remember them by name. It’s not necessarily a knock to their work; it’s a mark of their ability to be transformative as a character actor. One such case is Kathryn Hunter. Known for her work in physical theater prior to her time on the big and small screens, she first rose to prominence in these worlds as Arabella Figg in the Harry Potter series. Seen in Order of the Phoenix, Mrs. Figg first appears after the Dementors attack, with her cane and iconic string bag, where she instructs Harry to keep his wand out should more attack. She walks Harry and an incapacitated Dudley Dursley (Harry Melling) home, alerting them that she had been instructed by Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) to watch over him. She serves as the sole, eccentric testimony in Harry’s disciplinary hearing. Harry’s cat-loving neighbor is revealed to be a Squib and a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

Motherly figures are very much Hunter’s alley, as that is exactly who she played in Andor. In the Disney+ series, she portrays Eedy Karn, the overbearing mother of disgraced former Imperial officer Syril Karn (Kyle Soller). An integral figure to learn major insights on the antagonist, she is known for relentlessly berating Syril, but pulls strings with the mysterious “Uncle Harlo” to get him a new desk job in the Bureau of Standards, a significant step down for Syril. Hunter, with limited screen time, ensured her character was a breakout one, thanks to her physical performance and a hilariously accessible nagging-mother archetype. And she always looked simply poised and put together in her galaxy couture. How could we not love her?

6

Jason Isaacs

There are a lot of interesting baddies in the Wizarding World. While there may be a tiered system of evil that sees Lord Voldemort at the tippy top, the next slot would likely be given to Lucius Malfoy. A major character in the franchise, Lucius was made exceptionally sinister thanks to his portrayal by legendary actor Jason Isaacs. With a sprawling career before and after his time in Harry Potter, it’s the long, luscious blond locks that have made him most recognizable to mainstream audiences. We could be here forever discussing his arc, but Lucius is remembered as the father of Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton). The wealthy pure-blood wizard is a devoted Death Eater who served Voldemort, using his wealth and connections to advance his pure-blood supremacist ideology. Cold and aristocratic, Lucius was an instigator of mischief before his ultimate fall from grace following his botched mission at the Department of Mysteries. Though he eventually shifts his loyalty, Lucius remains an iconic antagonist.

Up in space, Isaac lent his voice to the beloved animated series Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: Tales of the Empire. He voices the Grand Inquisitor, the former Jedi Temple Guard-turned-dark-side assassin who leads the Empire’s Jedi-hunting Inquisitorius. Tasked to hunt down surviving Jedi after Order 66, his mission is under the direct orders of Darth Vader (James Earl Jones). He is ultimately defeated by Kanan Jarrus (Freddie Prinze Jr.), but later appears as a ghost to guide Kanan to knighthood. Ruthless and cruel, wielding a spinning, double-bladed lightsaber, he is known for choosing death over failure. Unfortunately for Isaacs, when the character made his live-action appearance in the series Obi-Wan Kenobi, the role was played by Rupert Friend, another British icon well-versed in playing villains.

7

Fiona Shaw

Fiona Shaw as Petunia Dursley in 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone'

With a profound stature and a versatility that grants her the chance to do Shakespeare, comedies, thrillers, and more, Fiona Shaw remains one of the most revered British actresses of all time. Right from the jump, Shaw was introduced to Harry Potter fans as portraying Harry’s aunt, Petunia Dursley. The sister of Harry’s mother, Petunia and her husband, Vernon (Richard Griffiths), take Harry in after his parents are killed. The strict, magic-averse Muggle isn’t a typical villain; instead, she shows her disdain through bitter resentment, jealousy, and repressed trauma. Since the Dursleys are widely meant to be disliked, she is often involved in comical magical moments, including the infamous moment when Aunt Marge (Pam Ferris) inflates and floats away in Prisoner of Azkaban.

The wild thing about Shaw’s trajectory from Harry Potter to Star Wars is that on Andor, she took on another adoptive mother figure, Maarva Andor, a fiercely protective woman. Alongside her husband, Clem (Gary Beadle), they rescued a young orphan from the planet Kenari, known later as Cassian (Diego Luna). After the Empire hanged her husband, she refused to flee, becoming a hardened salvager and a respected leader in the Daughters of Ferrix. Upon her death, a posthumous message was played at her funeral procession that led to the massive citizen revolt on Rix Road. A woman who clearly has range, Shaw’s versatility in both major franchises was on full display. Love or hate her characters, they are memorable nevertheless.

8

Natalia Tena

Tonks inside the Department of Mysteries in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Image via Warner Bros. Pictures

One of the fun parts of playing in both of these fantasy worlds is the incredible opportunity to transform completely into a character. For some actors, that means putting on an iconic costume and wigs or wearing prosthetics that render them almost unrecognizable. For Natalia Tena, she got to evolve into her character through imagery, where purple seemed to be her go-to color. Tena played Nymphadora Tonks in Harry Potter. First arriving in Order of the Phoenix, Tonks was a half-blood witch and a Metamorphmagus. Often seen aiding Harry in times of need, she’s also known to love and marry Remus Lupin (David Thewlis). By the final parts, Tonks and Lupin join in to defend the school from Voldemort’s army, only to fall victim to death at the Battle of Hogwarts.

After Harry Potter, Tena was part of the mega series Game of Thrones as the major character Osha, giving her even further recognition. Looking to add another notch on her belt, Tena appeared in a single episode of The Mandalorian as Xi’an. And that’s where the purple returned again. The Twi’lek is part of the crew hired by Ranzar Malk (Mark Boone Jr.) to break her brother, Qun (Ismael Cruz Cordova), out of a New Republic prison transport. Her connection to Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) is one of a romantic and professional entanglement. But after things were left acrimoniously, she brought an aggressive and antagonistic demeanor to their reunion, even attempting to betray him and leave him for dead. But no one messes with Mando, as he outsmarts her, locking her and her crew in a transport cell. Though she had only a single appearance in the series, it was memorable, marked by an iconic costume.

9

David Tennant

huyang-ahsoka-droid-star-wars Image via Lucasfilm

David Tennant is no stranger to major franchises. His most prominent role was playing the Tenth Doctor, and later the Fourteenth Doctor, on the beloved British series Doctor Who. Having experience in major fandoms gave him a sense of what it would be like to explore even bigger ones in Harry Potter and Star Wars. Just as Tennant was starting his run on Doctor Who, he joined Goblet of Fire to play Barty Crouch Jr. He is famously the secret villain of the film, disguising himself as Mad-Eye Moody using Polyjuice Potion to manipulate the Triwizard Tournament and aid in Lord Voldemort’s return. Known for the tongue flick, the tic serves as a connection to his madness, as well as his loyalty to the Dark Lord. Perhaps his run as Barty Crouch Jr. helped land him the equally devious and villainous Kilgrave in Jessica Jones.

In the Star Wars universe, it was time for something completely different. Tennant lent his voice to Professor Huyang, an ancient and highly knowledgeable droid who serves as a lightsaber architect and mentor to the Jedi. His first appearance in the role came in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where he helped a group of young Jedi build their first lightsabers on the training ship Crucible. He even mentored Yoda (Tom Kane) and Mace Windu (Terrence C. Carson)! Huyang served as a vital figure, providing Jedi history and context. It was even more important when the character made his live-action debut in Ahsoka. There, he accompanied Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) on her travels, offering technical and moral guidance and Jedi philosophy. The beloved character showed up once more in Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, repairing a lightsaber that once belonged to Jedi Master Barabo. For his role in The Clone Wars, Tennant won an Emmy for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program. Whether evil, heroic, or philosophic, Tennant can do it all.

10

Ian Whyte

This entry may deserve a bit of a caveat. Many of the actors on this list have given their whole selves to their characters. Others, it was simply a voice. For Ian Whyte, his face never appears on screen; instead, it’s either his voice, his lower body, or his puppeteering. Let’s explain. Technically, Whyte is credited as playing Madame Olympe Maxime. If you’re confused and believe your eyes saw Frances de la Tour in the part, you’re not wrong. Whyte served as the body and stunt double for de la Tour in order to give the 8’6″ half-giant headmistress of Beauxbaxtons her large presence. He also returned for Deathly Hallows Part 1 for additional stuntwork. At 7’1″, Whyte has been a go-to for larger-than-life characters in an assortment of films and series, including Game of Thrones, Alien vs Predator, and Prometheus.

In The Force Awakens, Whyte was the stunt double for the original Chewbacca actor, Peter Mayhew. From there, the franchise trusted him to take on an assortment of space creatures, including Bollie Prindel, a Urodel Resistance pilot, in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi; Vetch, an alien of Ferrix, in Andor; Moroff, the heavy-set, furry Gigoran mercenary in Rogue One; and Crusher Roodown, a massive, horned Unkar Plutt scavenger, in The Force Awakens. Though you may not recognize him physically, if you see a giant creature, it’s likely Whyte bringing it to life.

Before Netflix’s Anticipated Spin-Off, You Need To Watch This Stellar 3-Part Series

Published

on

Heartstopper

From Stranger Things to Heartbreak High, Netflix is full of coming-of-age stories that cater to its teen audiences and beyond. Among the best in the genre is Heartstopper, a romance series that first premiered on April 22, 2022, and is based on the graphic novel series written and illustrated by Alice Oseman. Starring Kit Connor and Joe Locke, the series not only put these two actors on the map, but depicted one of the streaming platform’s most heartfelt, diverse and chart-topping romances to date.

After coming out with three seasons, however, Heartstopper is changing it up in its final hurrah. On July 17, 2026, Netflix will be releasing Heartstopper Forever, a spin-off movie with the last chapter of Nick (Connor) and Charlie’s (Locke) love story. The movie will no doubt bring back the magic that made Heartstopper so endearing for three seasons, all while promising an unexpected and potentially tumultuous ending for the characters viewers have gotten to know and love.

‘Heartstopper’ Is Netflix’s Best Teen Romance Series

Before getting into the spin-off movie, viewers who haven’t seen any of Heartstopper yet should first tune into the series. Going back to Season 1, the series follows a shy, openly gay student named Charlie as he’s paired in class with Nick, a charming rugby player who, by all accounts, is straight. As their friendship blossoms, however, Nick makes major revelations about his own sexuality, while Charlie comes to terms with the bullying he’s faced in the past, and the lingering effects it’s had on his personal life and self-esteem. Together with their ride-or-die friends, Charlie and Nick navigate teenhood and their feelings together, with literal sparks flying between them when they’re around each other. All in all, the series manages to be an uplifting, bubbly romantic comedy, all while not shying away from major dilemmas, internal struggles and the classic growing pains of becoming an adult.

Throughout its three seasons, Heartstopper has established itself as one of Netflix’s best teen dramas. When Season 1 was first released, the series became an overnight sensation, reaching over 53.46 million hours viewed in its first three weeks. Two years later, Season 2 drew 55.5 million hours viewed in the same amount of time, with Season 3 achieving similar success. The critical acclaim of the series has been ever more impressive, reaching an average 98% among critics on Rotten Tomatoes in all three seasons, with Seasons 1 and 3 earning a rare 100%.

What Can Viewers Expect From ‘Heartstopper Forever’?

As viewers of the series eagerly await the spin-off movie coming out next month, there are already some clues as to what the new and final chapter will entail. Directed by Wash Westmoreland, Heartstopper Forever will take off from where Season 3 ended, as Nick continues to explore universities and what it would mean for his and Charlie’s relationship if he were to move far away, while Charlie embarks on his last year at Truham Grammar School while dealing with his mental health struggles. Joining Connor and Locke in the feature-length finale are William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Rhea Norwood, and Leila Khan. A synopsis for the third season reads:

“After Season 3, the couple is inseparable. But, with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet.”

With that said, while it might be disappointing for Heartstopper fans to hear that their beloved show will be coming to an end, the series is promising a satisfying, heartfelt finale that will not only please viewers and critics alike, but will surely top the charts. Since 2022, Heartstopper has become one of Netflix’s most moving and successful teen shows, and its spin-off feature-film finale will likely only continue that trend, and end on a high note.

It’s the End of an Era for Gerard Butler’s 111-Minute Action Flop on Paramount+

Published

on

the-bounty-hunter-gerard-butler-jennifer-anniston-social

Despite how synonymous he now is with the action genre, Gerard Butler was a far more experimental movie star several years ago. In fact, for a decade, he was just as well-known for his romantic movies. One of them is currently streaming on Paramount+ in the United States, but it won’t stick around for much longer. The movie was released in theaters in 2010, only a few years after Butler became a bona fide movie star thanks to Zack Snyder‘s 300. This was during the time he headlined films such as The Ugly Truth, P.S. I Love You, and Playing for Keeps. The movie we’re talking about, however, is arguably the most popular romance title he starred in.

It also features Jennifer Aniston, and was directed by Andy Tennant, who previously made Hitch and Fool’s Gold. Produced on a reported budget of approximately $45 million, the film grossed more than $135 million worldwide. It wasn’t well-received by critics, though, and now holds a poor 13% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. We’re talking, of course, about The Bounty Hunter. The Rotten Tomatoes consensus for the film reads, “Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston remain as attractive as ever, but The Bounty Hunter‘s formula script doesn’t know what to do with them — or the audience’s attention.”

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston’s Action Comedy Is Leaving Paramount+

the-bounty-hunter-gerard-butler-jennifer-anniston-social

The Bounty Hunter is currently streaming on Paramount+, but only until July 1. Meanwhile, Butler has mostly moved away from romance movies of all kinds. He focuses almost exclusively on the action and sci-fi genres, although he recently experienced major success with the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon. He also starred in two action sequels, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera and Greenland 2: Migration. While the former did solid box-office business and even better on home video, Greenland 2 was a major commercial misfire. More recently, Butler was part of the eclectic ensemble of Julian Schnabel‘s Netflix film In the Hand of Dante, which also features Oscar Isaac, Gal Gadot, John Malkovich, Al Pacino, and Martin Scorsese. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Mitchel Musso Opens Up About ‘Sister’ Miley Cyrus

Published

Miley Cyrus at Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special

Mitchel Musso says he’d do anything for his “sister,” Miley Cyrus.

Days after trashing the “Hannah Montana” 20th anniversary special, the “Hey” singer got candid about his relationship with the 33-year-old and their co-star, Emily Osment.

Exactly one year ago, Mitchel Musso made headlines when he clapped back at Cyrus’ claim that he used to smoke pot on the set of the Disney Channel original series.

On an episode of the “Joe Vulpis Podcast,” Musso, 34, opened up about his relationship with his “Hannah Montana” co-stars, Cyrus and Osment, who played Hannah and Lilly.

“This is our middle school, high school, college — we graduated a class of three,” he said about the trio.

“Hannah Montana” aired on Disney from 2006 to 2011. In addition to the show’s 98 episodes, the cast also filmed a feature film that included the chart-topping hit, “The Climb.”

“It was just me, Miley, and Emily, right?” Musso said. “So, it was everything to us. If we weren’t on set together, we were out snowboarding together. We were hanging out in Tennessee at the house.”

According to Musso, the trio “never wanted to be apart” from each other while filming the Disney series, adding that their little group had “so many inside jokes.”

“It was our little, it was our clique, you know, us three,” he added.

And speaking about his clique, Musso said that while he doesn’t speak with Cyrus much today, when they do, it’s like old times, calling the “Flowers” singer one of “the coolest people.”

“One of the most impressive people and watching her career…it’s not like I talk to Miley every single day, but you know the once or twice a year that I do get to speak with her, she’s my sister, you know what I mean? I’d do anything for Miles,” he said.

Musso’s comments about his Disney co-stars come days after he made headlines for trashing the show’s 20th anniversary special, which included a sit-down interview with “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper and new versions of “Best of Both Worlds” and “This Is The Life.”

Although Musso wasn’t part of the special, he said it “wasn’t presented correctly” for him to even want to have a role in it. “It’s too long of a wait to do it in a way that isn’t even close to, in my opinion, correct,” he said.

“The kid in me was banking on it, like ‘I can’t wait for us to all be on set again,’” he added. “And it just didn’t work out that way.”

Osment Wasn’t Included In The 20th Anniversary Special Either

And Musso wasn’t the only “Hannah Montana” alum who missed out on the special. Osment also took a back seat this time, telling her fans online that she had too many conflicts to make it work.

“‘Hannah Montana’ changed my life, it gave me a lifelong respect for this medium of comedy, it taught me discipline, patience, timing and respect working in an adult space so young,” she said of the series.

The “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” actress went on to say that she’s loved interacting with fans of the show over the years and has enjoyed seeing the series’ legacy live on.

“I can’t tell you what your sweet messages mean to me and how lucky I feel to have been [a part] of this once in a generation goliath of a television show,” she said. “Thank you for letting me into your living rooms and I hope to still be there many years from now. Would never be where I am without you guys, working on another beautiful show I love so dearly. With all my heart, THANK YOU!”

According to a previous report from The Blast, Cyrus spilled some “Hannah Montana” secrets while preparing for the show’s 20th anniversary. Last year, the singer said that someone used to smoke pot on the show’s set and implied that Musso was the one known to light up.

The “Shout It Out” singer clapped back, though, calling Cyrus a revisionist historian. “That’s not how I remember it,” he said. “I’ve got plenty of stories from those years that might be worth having a conversation about.”

‘Star Trek’ Has Nothing on This Sci-Fi Series That Quietly Built a Massive TV Universe

Published

on

stargate sg1 a matter of time

The science fiction genre has seen the birth of numerous science fiction franchises over the years, from Star Wars and Star Trek to cult classics like Babylon 5. One of the most underrated is the Stargate franchise, which officially kicked off with Stargate: SG-1. Showrunners Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner deserve credit not only for launching a series that continues to hold a dedicated fanbase 25 years after its inception but also for having that series serve as a launching pad for a whole franchise. While it’s common for shows like Peacemaker and Loki to spin out of feature films, SG-1 didn’t have the luxury of a streaming service or an era where genre fare was commonplace. Its origin story boils down to unexpected success.

SG-1 sprung into being due to a deal between Showtime and MGM Studios, with the latter owning the rights to the Stargate film. With Stargate proving to be a massive success at the box office, director/co-writer Roland Emmerich and his creative partner Dean Devlin pitched two more Stargate films. Each of the proposed sequels would have delved into the origin of various myths in Earth culture, and revealed that the chyrons on the Stargate were in fact coordinates to other alien worlds. “Whether it was Bigfoot, or the Yeti — we were going to tie everything together into a larger mythology. And it was going to be so much fun. It was going to be so wild,” Devlin said during an interview for the Dial the Gate podcast.

The Stargate TV Series Brought Back Beloved Characters With New Faces

Those films never came to be as MGM saw more value in a television series. The network hired Wright and Glassner, who’d previously worked on the Showtime revival of The Outer Limits. Together, they crafted a story that took place roughly one year after the events of the Stargate films and saw the return of protagonists Jack O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) and Dr. Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks). O’Neill and Jackson become part of a specialized “SG” team that also includes tech genius Samantha “Sam” Carter (Amanda Tapping) and the mysterious alien warrior Teal’c (Christopher Judge). Throughout SG-1‘s entire run, the team would utilize the Stargate to travel to other worlds and confront interstellar threats such as the shapeshifting Goa’uld.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix
Advertisement

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max
Advertisement

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner
Advertisement

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune
Advertisement

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars
Advertisement

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Ironically, SG-1 would contain many of the elements that Emmerich and Devilin had pitched for their potential Stargate trilogy. The Goa’uld’s highest-ranking members, the System Lords, were named after gods in various mythologies, including Apophis (Peter Williams) and Ba’al (Cliff Simon). It turns out that Ra, the alien warlord whom O’Neill and Jackson battled in the Stargate film, was also a member of the Goa’uld. Wright and Glassner also explored the possibility of the Stargate connecting to other worlds, allowing the show to put its own spin on mythological figures.

There were takes on Norse, Japanese, and even Babylonian gods, which gave the creators the ability to establish a rich universe and continue with the film’s theme of “ancient astronauts.” This also allowed the series to tackle religious themes, specifically how others do terrible things in the name of faith. Teal’c formerly served Apophis but wound up defecting to SG-1 in order to free his people, the Jaffa.

The New Stargate Cast Developed the Characters, Adding More Depth Over Time

A major draw of the series was the chemistry between the cast, especially Anderson and Shanks. Both step into the roles left by Kurt Russell and David Spader with ease; Shanks even won producers over with his pitch-perfect impression of Spader. But they also made the characters their own. Anderson constantly sought to make O’Neill a more flippant and approachable character than he was in the film, and he frequently had the chance to show how little regard the Colonel had for bureaucracy. Shanks’s performance as Jackson is equally compelling, as his intellect and compassion prove to be a solution to many problems the SG-1 team faces. Their interactions with Tapping’s Carter and Judge’s Teal’C make for some memorable dynamics; both O’Neill and Carter struggle with their feelings for each other, and Teal’C learns more about humanity.

And unlike other sci-fi series, SG-1 knew how to balance its darker scenes with moments of levity. Watching the series, it’s clear that the SG-1 team cares deeply about each other, and, as it turns out, that care extended to the behind-the-scenes matters as the actors collaborated with the crew on shaping their characters. Anderson, for example, asked for O’Neill to be more sarcastic, while Judge felt Teal’c should be more stoic.

Stargate: SG-1 would last for 10 seasons and weather several changes. Shanks and Anderson would have reduced roles in later seasons, and the show shifted from Showtime to the SyFy Channel with Season 6. Despite this, the show received critical acclaim as well as stellar ratings. The feature-length SG-1 pilot “Children of the Gods” was one of Showtime’s biggest series premieres and, combined with Battlestar Galactica, the series helped put SyFy on the map. Naturally, given SG-1‘s success, spin-offs were soon put into production.

Two feature films, Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate Continuum, were developed for a DVD release. The Ark of Truth serves as the grand conclusion to SG-1’s battle with the alien race known as the Ori, and Continuum finds them attempting to fix the past after Ba’al changes history so that the Goa’uld conquered Earth. Both films, despite being direct-to-DVD, take the SG-1 story and escalate it to cinematic heights — the danger feels bigger and the scope more epic.

Stargate Led to Further Spin-Offs and Launched Genres Stars Into the Mainstream

stargate sg1 a matter of time Image via Showtime

There would also be spin-off series in the form of Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe, and the prequel Stargate Origins. Atlantis premiered between the Season 7 finale and the Season 8 premiere of SG-1 and follows a new team led by Lt. Colonel John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) as they discover the lost city of Atlantis and wind up in a battle with the malevolent Wraith. Universe finds a team of scientists forced to board an ancient alien ship called Destiny after their base is attacked, and escape using a Stargate — but wind up in a distant galaxy.

Origins is rather self-explanatory: Catherine Langford (Ellie Gall) aims to save her father after he is sent through a Stargate. All of these series continued to build out the universe of Stargate, but only Atlantis matched SG-1 in terms of fan engagement and character development. The SG-1 crew would also appear in various episodes of Atlantis and Universe, especially Tapping’s Carter, who served as a major character in the former.

This 19-Episode ‘Stargate SG-1’ Meets ‘12 Monkeys’ Series Is One of TV’s Best Sci-Fi Shows

The countdown started in 2002.

The Stargate franchise was home to many genre alums over the course of its run. Farscape alum Ben Browder joined SG-1 in its final two seasons as Cameron Mitchell, Jason Momoa had a recurring role on Atlantis as Ronan Dex, which is rather ironic given his future role in Aquaman, and Ming-Na Wen had a recurring (later regular) role on Universe. Other sci-fi alums who appeared in the franchise include Robert Picardo and Morena Baccarin. Baccarin’s fellow Firefly alums Jewel Staite and Adam Baldwin also had recurring roles in Atlantis.

Though Stargate SG-1 has been off the air for years, its fanbase is still going strong. There’s been a “Gatecon” convention dedicated to the series, and rumors have swirled of a potential new Stargate installment once MGM became a part of Amazon. None of it would be possible without the groundwork that SG-1 laid, as it took the foundation of a cult film and built upon it to make one of the most interesting science fiction universes ever put on the small screen.

JWoww Fires Back After Wedding Guest List Controversy

Published

Jenni “JWoww” Farley isn’t letting wedding drama overshadow her newlywed bliss. Days after reports surfaced claiming certain “Jersey Shore” cast members were blindsided by being left off the guest list for her surprise wedding to Zack Carpinello, the reality star is pushing back against the controversy and defending her decision to keep the celebration intimate. While some former co-stars reportedly felt snubbed, JWoww says the reaction only reinforced why certain people weren’t invited in the first place.

Farley recently addressed the growing controversy in a TikTok video, making it clear that she was frustrated by the public discussion surrounding her guest list. “It is infuriating” that she’s “now getting caught up in retweets and tabloids about who was invited and who wasn’t invited,” she said.

“If you were a true friend or family member, none of this would be public right now,” Farley continued. “You would’ve [come] to me. But you can’t come to me, because then you can’t play victim to your own fake ass narrative.”

The reality star explained that she and Carpinello intentionally limited the guest list to around 50 of their closest family members and friends. “These people that are sh-t talking and creating these anonymous threads and tabloids things are the whole reason why they weren’t invited,” she added. “You proved my point.”

Despite the headlines surrounding who wasn’t there, Farley and Carpinello are choosing to focus on the people who were.

“We’re still taking it all in,” the couple told Page Six while sharing photos from their wedding celebration. “Every moment [of the wedding] felt intentional and filled with love. It was a beautiful reminder of how fortunate we are to have such incredible people in our lives, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin our marriage.”

The pair tied the knot on Wednesday at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey, surprising guests who believed they were attending a screening of Farley’s upcoming project, “Nanny Cam.”

While reports claimed Angelina Pivarnick and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro were left off the guest list, several of Farley’s longtime “Jersey Shore” castmates were in attendance. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Nicole Cortese, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino were among those who celebrated with the newlyweds.

A source previously told Page Six that Pivarnick was “angry” about being excluded from the intimate ceremony because she had been “working with her for years,” though Farley has declined to address any specific names publicly.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was also not invited to the wedding, while Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino were invited but did not attend.

JWoww Says The Wedding Was Designed To Be Personal, Not A Production

Farley has also opened up about why she and Carpinello chose to keep their wedding celebration so intimate. “We envisioned a small, meaningful celebration focused on the people who matter most to us,” Farley told PEOPLE. “We weren’t interested in throwing the biggest wedding possible. We wanted an unforgettable moment shared with our closest family and friends. The goal was creating memories, not creating a production.”

According to the reality star, every aspect of the ceremony was intentionally designed to reflect the couple’s relationship rather than meet outside expectations. “More than anything, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us,” she continued. “The surprise element, the family focus, and the intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful.”

Farley and Carpinello also made it a priority to ensure their wedding day celebrated the family they have built together over the past seven years. The reality star shares daughter Meilani, 11, and son Greyson, 10, with ex-husband Roger Mathews, and the couple wanted both children to play a meaningful role in the special day.

According to PEOPLE, Carpinello gifted his stepdaughter a ruby birthstone ring, while Greyson received a soccer-themed present to commemorate the occasion. “This wedding is about our family, not just the two of us,” the newlyweds shared. “We wanted the day to celebrate not only our love story but also the family we’ve built together over the last seven years.”

By incorporating thoughtful gifts and making the children part of the festivities, Farley and Carpinello said they wanted Meilani and Greyson to feel “celebrated and included every step of the way” as they officially began this new chapter together.

Tia Mowry is living her best life with her new boyfriend by her side.

Years after the “Sister, Sister” actress divorced her ex-husband, Cory Hardrict, she found love again with her partner, Javone Williams, whom she described as super smart and “so wonderful.”

In March 2026, Tia Mowry opened up about how her “boundaries” had changed since separating from her ex.

Tia recently sat down with SiriusXM’s “Today Radio Show” to discuss a range of topics, including her new relationship with Williams, a teacher, artist, and reader.

According to Mowry, their connection is so strong that they do things together that help push them to be better, like going to the “Buddhist temple” every week and reading before bed.

“He’s a wonderful human being,” Tia said. “His emotional intelligence, it’s amazing.”

Later in the interview, Mowry said that she “manifested” her new relationship with Williams after a friend of hers told her to “listen to music, put some candles on and just write out a list of what you would like in a partner.”

“I’m glad that it came around the time…because I really wouldn’t have known what I wanted three years ago. I really needed to sit in like solitude and like learn who I am first before I even figured out what it was and what it is that I want. So I did do that,” she said.

“And not only did I do that, I’m a huge believer in like neuroscience,” the mother of two added. “So I would literally close my eyes, and I would meditate about my partner, and I would meditate about the feeling that I would want to feel, and the feeling was my nervous system being safe, and that’s exactly what he does, like he’s amazing, like he’s so wonderful.”

“I knew when I really started to focus on my happiness,” she said in 2022. “I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK — meaning our children, our friends, our family.”

Tia went on to say that life is about more than those things, adding that when women begin focusing on themselves and “self-love,” they’ll recognize their value. “And it’s not easy. It’s a hard journey, but at the end of the day, I feel like it is so, so worth it,” she continued.

Tia Must Be Feeling ‘Secure’ About Her New Relationship With Williams

According to a previous report from The Blast, Tia told the media that, following her divorce, she was keeping certain aspects of her personal life private. She shared that she would only post about her relationship when she felt “secure” with where things were between them.

“If I am feeling secure about something, then I’m okay sharing, because everybody wants to say what they want to say. When you are secure with yourself, then you’re like, ‘This is just noise,’” she said.

The actress said that she’s normally a bit nervous posting about her love life, and to protect herself, she’s used to creating “a boundary.”

“So yeah, it’s all about what I feel secure about, and also just [what I’m] passionate about, that I’m open to talk about,” she added.

24 Years Later, Bruce Willis’ Criminally Underrated WWII Masterpiece Is Streaming for Free

Published

on

Colin Farrell as Lieutenant Thomas Hart and Bruce Willis as Colonel William McNamara on a cropped poster for 'Hart's War'

War dramas will always be popular, with the intensity and truth behind their stories a perfect way to captivate a global audience. Right now, one of the best war films of the year is proving popular on PVOD. The WWII drama-thriller Pressure, which stars Brendan Fraser and Andrew Scott, follows the 72 hours before D-Day, and somehow finds a fresh lens through which to look at one of the most-told war stories in modern media.

The success of Pressure will likely point people in the direction of other war epics, with one such gem about to make its way to a free streamer. Set in 1944 after the Battle of the Bulge, Hart’s War follows Bruce Willis as a senior-ranking Allied officer, Colonel William McNamara, alongside Lieutenant Thomas Hart (Colin Farrell), who is tortured at a German prisoner of war camp and gives up information valuable to the Allied strategy. McNamara then recruits Hart to defend Lieutenant Lincoln Scott (Terrence Howard), a black prisoner of war accused of murdering a white prisoner.

Hart’s War was first released in 2002 and is based on the novel by John Katzenbach. The film is directed by Gregory Hoblit, who is best known for directing 1996’s Primal Fear, and was one of the last movies he made to date. Hart’s War was sadly met with mixed reviews from critics, scoring just 60% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, but it did earn a strong 3/4-star review from the great Roger Ebert. If you’re looking for your next gripping war drama, you’re in luck, as Hart’s War will be available to stream for free on Plex, starting July 1.

Did ‘Hart’s War’ Perform Well at the Box Office?

Hart’s War didn’t manage to impress critics on the whole, but could it at least find some success at the box office? Sadly, the film was one of the biggest flops of 2002, scoring just $33 million in global revenue against a budget of $70 million. This is an undeniable disaster for a film led by Willis during the height of his Hollywood power, just three years after he starred in M. Night Shyamalan‘s The Sixth Sense. Hart’s War faced tough box office competition upon debut, including Black Hawk Down, A Beautiful Mind, and Peter Pan: Return to Neverland.

Hart’s War is streaming for free on Plex next month. Stay tuned to Collider for the latest streaming stories.

Part Three’, Robert Pattinson’s Best Fantasy Sequel Is Leaving HBO Max

Published

on

01424748_poster_w780.jpg

What a year Robert Pattinson is having so far. The actor starred alongside Zendaya in the critically acclaimed cringe comedy The Drama, which emerged as a word-of-mouth hit in theaters earlier this year. The Drama grossed more than $130 million worldwide against a reported budget of $28 million. Interestingly, Pattinson and Zendaya will appear alongside each other in two more movies this year — The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan, and then in Dune: Part Three, directed by Denis Villeneuve. The latter film isn’t the first fantasy-adjacent threequel that Pattinson has starred in. Many years ago, Pattinson was at the forefront of the Twilight Saga franchise, also starring Kristen Stewart. Both stars have significantly distanced themselves from the series, which was immensely successful at the box office, but not exactly admired by critics.

None of the franchise’s five installments is rated “fresh” on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, although some are considerably better than others. Arguably the best installment of the series is the third movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The film is currently streaming on HBO Max, but will be removed from the platform soon, along with its two follow-ups, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2.

The Sorting Hat Speaks
Your House Has Been Chosen

After careful deliberation, the Sorting Hat has made its decision. This is the house your values, your instincts, and your particular way of being in the world were made for.

Ravenclaw Tower · Blue & Bronze

🦅 Ravenclaw

Your mind is your greatest gift, and you’ve always known it.

  • Ravenclaws are the thinkers, the questioners, the ones who find a puzzle irresistible and a good book better company than most people.
  • Ravenclaw is not merely about intelligence — it’s about the love of learning, the pursuit of truth, and the rare courage to admit you don’t know something yet.
  • You see the world with unusual clarity and depth.
  • Luna Lovegood, Filius Flitwick, Rowena Ravenclaw herself — all extraordinary, all original. And so are you.

Here’s How Long You Have To Watch ‘Eclipse’ on HBO Max

Eclipse was the only installment of the series to be directed by David Slade, who took over from Chris Weitz and Catherine Hardwicke. The movie grossed $760 million worldwide against a reported budget of $68 million, and received mixed reviews from critics. Everyone was in agreement that Eclipse marked an improvement over the series’ second installment, The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Eclipse now holds a 46% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “Stuffed with characters and overly reliant on uninspired dialogue, Eclipse won’t win The Twilight Saga many new converts, despite an improved blend of romance and action fantasy.” You can watch the movie on HBO Max until July 1. The Odyssey will be released in theaters later in July, and Dune: Part Three will debut theatrically in December. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
