The blending of the science fiction and family genres has led the way to many beloved cinematic experiences over the years. There are vast creative possibilities and limitless potential within the sci-fi genre to tell stories of all types and styles, making it all the more endearing that many of these tales are equally accessible to be appreciated by children. For the past half-century of cinematic history, sci-fi family movies have been some of the most approachable and compelling out there.
Whether it be mysterious visitors from across the cosmos or massive leaps in technological advancement, these otherworldly concepts of sheer imagination lend themselves perfectly to the childlike wonder and whimsy of a family movie. Even more so, these concepts can serve as a great entry point for truly powerful thematic material and messaging that can land with older audiences just as effectively as with younger ones.
Tim Burton‘s stop-motion remake of his quirky sci-fi family short film from the ’80s, Frankenweenie remixes the classic Frankenstein story by following a young Victor Frankenstein, who uses his mad genius to resurrect his beloved dead dog Sparky. However, things quickly begin to go awry when Victor’s neighbors and peers discover what he has done, initially shocked at the return of Sparky before creating mayhem when they decide to reanimate their own deceased pets.
This unique Frankenstein adaptation stays true to some of the core themes and concepts of the original story while also making it much more approachable to younger audiences. It’s filled to the brim with Burton’s signature sense of wit and gothic charm, with a lot of the same appeal that has made several of his other stories and films family movie icons. The stop-motion animation is also a joy to watch, feeling highly impressive and intricate in its craft to a point where adults can also find great enjoyment in the film.
An absolute icon of ’80s family movies that succeeds not only thanks to the strength of its premise, but the striking execution in bringing it to life, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids has been pervasive in the history of family movie filmmaking ever since its release. The Joe Johnston film follows a scientist father (Rick Moranis) who accidentally shrinks his two children and two other neighborhood teens to the size of insects, forcing them to fight against the miniature dangers while the father searches for them.
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids does an exceptional job playing up the fantasy elements of its clearly sci-fi concept, showing both the danger and unexpected fun of being a few inches tall. On top of an exceptional leading comedic performance from Moranis and a great exploration of the concept’s potential, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids quickly became one of the most beloved family movies of the ’80s and persisted in culture throughout the ’90s and beyond.
Playing into the pervasive trend of superhero stories rising in popularity throughout sci-fi films of the 2000s, Megamind‘s family movie twist on superhero and supervillain archetypes has given it an effective niche that still feels relevant over 15 years later. The film follows the titular pompous supervillain Megamind (Will Ferrell), who faces an identity crisis after finally defeating his life-long arch-nemesis. He soon begins to realize that most of the fun of being a villain was facing off against a hero, so he creates a new hero to face.
This beloved animated superhero movie has only grown more appreciated in the years since its release, as its meta characters and fundamental understanding of hero-villain rivalries have made it a great, self-aware family experience. Today, the film is largely considered one of the most underrated films released by DreamWorks Animation and one of the all-time great superhero parody films.
The definitive family movie from fan-favorite filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, Spy Kids blended the 2000s craze with espionage and the world of super secret spies with young children using their perspective to save their family from a dastardly conspiracy and crazed villains. While the film spawned several sequels over the years, its distinct charm helps it exceed the quality of follow-up entries in the franchise.
The film follows a duo of children who believe that their parents are the most boring people on Earth, completely unaware of their previous lives as top secret agents who gave up their lives to raise them. However, when several old colleagues disappear, forcing the parents out of retirement, it doesn’t take long before the kids themselves are put up to the task to find their parents and save them from a dastardly villain.
While Disney has had its fair share of notable family movies delving into the sci-fi genre, Lilo & Stitch is easily their absolute best combination of classic family values with wild sci-fi characters and concepts. It follows Stitch, a chaotic genetic experiment from outer space who escapes confinement and crash-lands on the islands of Hawaii. Initially causing chaos, he finds an unexpected friendship with independent little girl Lilo, as their true bond gives them both new perspectives on life.
This exceptional animated comedy gets a lot of mileage out of the comedic banter and dynamic between its titular duo. With stellar animation and a great mix of heartfelt moments and top-notch comedy, Lilo & Stitch has cemented itself as one of Disney’s greatest and most acclaimed films of the 21st century so far. Even after a live-action remake that grossed over a billion dollars, nothing comes close to the exceptional filmmaking present within the original 2002 classic.
A striking evolution of 3D animation that proves just how much DreamWorks Animation has progressed as an animation studio in recent years, The Wild Robot is a glorious combination of the sci-fi, family, and adventure genres to create one of the definitive animated masterpieces of the 2020s. The film follows an intelligent helper robot who, after a shipwreck, is stranded on an uninhabited island. As it attempts to survive the harsh climate, it begins to form bonds and care for the various animals, most notably an orphaned baby goose.
While the gloriously beautiful animation does a lot to help elevate the film’s strengths, the clearest and most prominent quality is the exceptional characters. Roz the robot’s growth from an unfeeling helper into a genuine fighter and mother figure is incredibly endearing to watch on-screen. With a sequel on the way, The Wild Robot‘s legacy and prominence among modern sci-fi family movies only continues to grow.
While the film was initially a box-office bomb, The Iron Giant thrived in the home video market, with many quickly understanding its qualities and brilliant combination of 2D and 3D animation. This glorious story of unexpected friendship between a boy and a 50 ft robot perfectly complements the Red Scare aesthetic and nuclear war fears underlying the plot. Brad Bird‘s initial animated outing continues to be celebrated over 25 years later as one of the greatest animated movies of all time.
Despite coming out in the early years of 3D animation, The Iron Giant‘s stylistic visuals have aged exceptionally well into the modern age, directly complementing the style of 2D animation without ever feeling distracting. The emotional moments hit hard, and the characters feel grounded in a place of reality amidst the wild sci-fi madness around them. It can be enjoyed by adults just as much as young children, making it a true one-of-a-kind.
Spider-Man is a character that has had an overwhelming appeal with audiences and young children for generations, with many different film adaptations leaning into the character’s sheer charm and appeal. However, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse easily stands out as not just the best Spider-Man film, but one that fundamentally understands the strengths of the character and translates them to a fun, sci-fi family tale. It sees a variety of alternate universes coming together, with a whole team of Spider-People having to team up to return to their universes.
After so many great Spider-Man films, Into the Spider-Verse does the greatest job of recreating the magic and strengths of the comic on the big screen, with its stylish animation feeling at times like it was taken directly off the panel. It all works in tandem with an exceptional story of strength and growth, showing that anyone can find success and can have the title of Spider-Man and that the pains of our past can help drive us toward a greater future.
One of the greatest films from Pixar’s golden era and a masterclass of beautiful animation mixed with powerful eco-messaging, WALL·E‘s overwhelming reputation as an animated masterpiece precedes it. The film follows an incredibly cute trash robot left as the lone inhabitant of Earth, with humanity having abandoned the planet after it has been overwhelmed by a high amount of trash and decay. However, plant life has managed to find a way to exist on Earth, with WALL·E going on a journey across the cosmos to return humanity to Earth.
WALL·E features some of the greatest worldbuilding and stage-setting in a sci-fi film, with the powerful visuals of a decaying Earth contrasting perfectly with the quaint, simple, and cute life of WALL·E himself. As his journey of love and curiosity grows, there is a consistent and seamless marriage between top-notch slapstick silent comedy and exceptional eco themes. While already massively acclaimed, WALL·E has attained an overwhelming legacy as one of the definitive family movie masterpieces of the 21st century.
It’s impossible to discuss iconic and well-crafted sci-fi family movies without mentioning Steven Spielberg‘s legendary blockbuster masterpiece, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. This absolute icon of ’80s cinema exemplifies all the great strengths inherent to the sci-fi family genre, telling a timeless story of family friendship with galactic stakes and an overwhelming sense of charm from beginning to end. E.T. sees Spielberg going all out in terms of a crowd-pleasing entertainment, playing to his greatest strengths to create a true cultural moment for family filmmaking.
Time has only been kind to the strengths and influence of E.T. on wider culture. Indeed, the film has become the face of sci-fi family filmmaking as well as one of the most iconic movies of its decade. Its legacy and impact on filmmaking as a whole only continues to grow with each passing year, massively influencing every other sci-fi family movie for both the past 50 years and the next 50 years.
We all love going for a stroll down memory lane and hearing noises, seeing sights, and clicking buttons we used to click as kids, which is why it’s been such a bummer that some of the original Xbox’s most fondly remembered games have remained frustratingly difficult to revisit outside Microsoft’s consoles. While backward compatibility has become a major part of the Xbox identity, PC players have largely been left watching from the sidelines. Well, all of that has now officially changed for good.
Xbox has officially launched Backward Compatibility on PC, beginning with four classic games from the original Xbox era. Conker: Live & Reloaded, Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Fuzion Frenzy are now available through the Xbox app on PC, and all four can be purchased individually and are also included with every Xbox Game Pass plan.
Through Xbox Play Anywhere, each title can be accessed across compatible PCs, Xbox consoles and handhelds including the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X, while cloud streaming is also supported. Players who already own a digital Xbox licence for any of the four games will not need to purchase them again on PC. The updated versions include resolution scaling of up to four times the original output, VSync, fullscreen and windowed display options, anisotropic filtering and improved anti-aliasing.
Backwards compatibility has been a huge feature of the Xbox since the Xbox One began supporting the original Xbox titles and those from the Xbox 360. It continued through the Series X and S, but this is the company’s first coordinated effort to bring that legacy catalog properly to PC. And in more good news, Achievements are going to be added to selected original Xbox games on both PC and consoles later in the year. The initial four releases are expected to receive Achievement support within the coming months, which will give us all those endorphin rushes we used to get when we’d complete a level in 30 seconds or something.
Microsoft has not yet revealed which games will join the service next, although it confirmed that the library will continue expanding. For now, PC players can finally revisit the foul-mouthed squirrel who’s well known for having very bad days, control time, battle through the skies, and ruin friendships in multiplayer permanently without digging an original Xbox out of storage.
Mason Gooding is promoting several projects. This includes Netflix’s “72 Hours,” in which he stars with Kevin Hart, and his latest movie, “I Want Your Sex.” Recently, the 29-year-old heartthrob opened up about growing up with his famous dad and how he feels the “Radio” star used what he called “speed parenting” because of his busy schedule.

Mason appeared on the “Wildmen” podcast in July 2026, discussing a wealth of topics from his burgeoning career to his life growing up with Cuba as a father. He said of his childhood, “My father was an actor and grandfather [Cuba Gooding Sr.] was a singer.”
He explained, saying, “I have probably a stronger relationship and understanding based on who they were publicly than who they were privately. It wasn’t until I was older that they could — not my grandfather, God rest his soul — but like my dad would have been able to articulate like a lot of the lessons I learned as a kid.”
Regarding Mason’s grandfather, he passed away in 2017 at the age of 72. After that, he spoke specifically about his father’s parenting style, saying, “Cause when you’re a parent who’s an actor, and you’re gone for so long, then you come back, you try to … the word would be speed-parent … cause you come in for a week, and you’re like, ‘Why is that broken? Why are you failing school? Why are you fighting?’”

Mason continued reflecting on his upbringing with Cuba by stating that he was unsure about how to approach their relationship because the man he saw in interviews failed to align with what he witnessed when his dad was home.
According to the young actor, “At the time, I didn’t really understand that relationship ’cause I was like, ‘You’re so positive and charismatic in these interviews, and then you come home, and it’s a different guy,’ and I didn’t get that correlation or lack thereof.”
In reflecting, he stated, “It’s just understanding that that dissonance between who I get at home and who you are on camera will actually be a factor in how I parse out our relationship moving forward.”

Mason seemingly has a complicated relationship with his dad, Cuba. However, he still has fond memories of him, including his sharing sage acting advice. The “Scream 7” star spoke to BET in 2019, first joking that he had a hand in his father’s Oscar win.
He said at the time, “Even though technically he won the Oscar in ’97, I like to think I had some hand in that. Regarding being a good luck charm for his dad, Mason recalled, “He always said that before he got Jerry Maguire [that he] related to the character so much because he had a baby on the way, which was me, and it led up to the perfect time and atmosphere to get the role. All the stars lined up, making it what it was. Here’s hoping that same good luck rubs off on me.”
Regarding the advice Cuba shared, Mason said, “It’s not about blowing it [on camera emotion] out of proportion all the time. He said it’s about holding it down and keeping it down until the perfect moment comes and let it explode from you, and that’s what moves audiences.”

Mason’s first big role came in 2018 when he was cast in the HBO series “Ballers,” appearing in three episodes. After that, was cast in Olivia Wilde‘s 2019 film “Booksmart.” Cuba dished about his son and his early success in a 2018 PEOPLE interview.
He said at the time, “My youngest son Mason just did a stint on Ballers with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as one of the characters in that.” After that, he teased “Booksmart,” saying, “He’s got a new indie movie that he’s starring in.”
Mason’s continued to expand his career with episodic appearances on shows such as “Star Trek: Picard” and “How I Met Your Father” before scoring a role on “Love Victor,” which started in 2020.

Mason’s latest movie, “72 Hours,” was released on Netflix in July 2026. The movie, which also stars Hart, Marcello Hernandez, Teyana Taylor, and Andy Garcia, debuted at number one on the streamer’s top chart. Additionally, his other film, “I Want Your Sex,” is arriving in movie theaters on July 31. His previous movie, a thriller called “The Gates,” was released in March 2026.
According to Deadline, he’s also been tapped to star in an action film, “Last Resort,” which is scheduled to be released in 2028.

When you’re constantly in front of the camera, a bright smile essentially becomes part of the job. Just ask Erin Andrews, who keeps her pearly whites in tip-top shape with the Crest 3D Whitestrips Dental Whitening Kit.
“I’m always doing [Crest White Strips], because I’m a coffee drinker and wine drinker,” the broadcaster shared. Instead of booking a professional whitening appointment, which can be timely and costly, these fan-favorite strips are an easy way to maintain a brighter, camera-ready smile from home.
Get the Crest 3D Whitestrips Dental Whitening Kit for $63 at CVS!
This kit isn’t a quick one-and-done process. It comes with 20 treatments and is actually designed to deliver gradual results over time using the same enamel-safe whitening ingredient that dentists use to remove years of surface stains caused by coffee, tea, wine and other everyday foods and drinks. Still, it’s foolproof to use: apply the strips to clean, dry teeth, leave them on for 45 minutes and remove them when finished. The brand recommends using the product once a day for 20 days for best results.
The strips themselves are made with Advanced Seal technology, which molds comfortably to your teeth and helps them stay securely in place so you can answer emails, fold laundry, get ready for work or just chill out while the whitening strips do the heavy lifting. They conform to the shape of your teeth to ensure even coverage, helping whiten both the front and sides of each tooth for a more uniform-looking smile.
For anyone who’s frequently on the go, the whitening kit is also super easy to travel with. Each treatment comes individually wrapped, so you can slip a few packets into your carry-on or toiletry bag without sacrificing precious packing space.
One reviewer swore the results were “dramatic.”
“I am really happy with the results of the Crest White Strips. They were easy to apply and stayed on well,” they wrote. “The light was comfortable. My teeth turned out so white!”
“Only took a few days before seeing a positive difference,” another shopper shared.
Whether you’re preparing for a big event, heading on vacation, walking down the aisle or simply want to refresh your smile, the Crest 3D Whitestrips Dental Whitening Kit offers a convenient way to achieve a noticeably brighter smile without the hefty cost of professional treatments!

While there may have been concerns after the utter domination of Christopher Nolan‘s latest epic, The Odyssey, Sony can rest easy as Spider-Man: Brand New Day is tracking to deliver a humongous box-office haul in its opening weekend. Both movies feature Tom Holland; he plays the titular character’s son in The Odyssey and everyone’s favorite web-slinger in the upcoming superhero movie. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Holland’s fourth solo film as the character; he has now played Spider-Man in more movies than any other actor. But the new movie has big shoes to fill, especially after the landmark performance of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which grossed around $260 million domestically and approximately $600 million worldwide in its opening frame back in 2021. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is projected to beat these numbers.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie has received excellent early reactions and is currently sitting at a “Certified Fresh” 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie has already earned more than $100 million worldwide in pre-sales. By comparison, Spider-Man: No Way Home ended its run with more than $1.9 billion worldwide without getting a China release. The middle movie in the previous trilogy, Spider-Man: Far From Home, grossed more than $1.1 billion globally, while Holland’s first solo Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, made nearly $900 million worldwide. All three previous movies were made by Jon Watts, with the third installment earning the best reviews. Spider-Man: No Way Home, which also brought back Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire‘s versions of the superhero in a euphoric team-up, holds a “Certified Fresh” 93% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.
According to the industry analyst portal Global Box Office, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is venturing into a territory that has only been breached once before, by Avengers: Endgame. The new movie is eying a domestic debut of more than $300 million and a global debut of more than $800 million. By comparison, Avengers: Endgame made around $360 million domestically and more than $1.2 billion in its worldwide opening frame in 2019. Older viewers will remember when the original Spider-Man movie, directed by Sam Raimi, became the first film in history to gross more than $100 million in its opening weekend at the domestic box office. Spider-Man: Brand New Day also features Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, and Sadie Sink in supporting roles.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day premieres on July 31. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

“Isn’t that so crazy?” the former “E! News” host said as her past relationship continues to make headlines.
Coming off the well-received Little House on the Prairie, which is still charting worldwide, Netflix is re-engaging the Yellowstone fanbase with the second season of Ransom Canyon. Starring Minka Kelly and Josh Duhamel, Ransom Canyon is perhaps the most overt attempt that Netflix made to lure the Yellowstone loyalists away from Paramount+. The streamer famously passed on Taylor Sheridan’s magnum opus, which has become something of a platform-defining hit for Paramount+ and has spawned numerous spin-offs. The most recent Yellowstone sequels, Dutton Ranch and Marshals, have emerged as hits in their own right.
There is a massive audience for neo-Westerns out there, and Netflix can’t just be a spectator in this gold rush. Ransom Canyon premiered in April 2025 to solid viewership but lukewarm reviews, with many calling it a pale imitation of the real deal. The first season holds a 45% score on Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “Inviting one too many unflattering comparisons to more compelling dramas, Ransom Canyon is a serviceable binge for fans of rustic soap operas but a middling example of the genre.”
The second season, which debuted on Netflix on July 23, has already found a spot on the global top 10. According to FlixPatrol, the show replaced the holdover hit I Will Find You to claim the number one spot on Netflix’s domestic viewership chart. Netflix revealed that the show’s second season debuted with 4 million views in its first week. However, the reviews are still not where Netflix would like them to be. The second season currently holds a 40% score on Rotten Tomatoes. By comparison, Dutton Ranch is sitting at a “Certified Fresh” 89% score on the aggregator, while even the worst-rated season of Yellowstone — Season 1 — managed a 58% score. Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie, which offers an alternative to the Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923, currently holds a “Certified Fresh” 80% on the aggregator. The consensus for the show reads, “Little House on the Prairie dusts off the 70s and enters a new era of conscious creation and adaptation, striking the right balance between nostalgia and inspiration to craft a new and enlivened path for itself.”
Ransom Canyon Season 2 is streaming no on Netflix. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Singer Noah Kahan is opening up about his health journey like never before.
In a new interview, the 29-year-old detailed his new routine and shared the “ultimate cheat code” that’s helped him stay committed and focused on his goals.
Elsewhere in the interview, Noah Kahan, known for his single “Stick Season,” also got candid about how he protects his mental health, crediting his therapist for helping keep him “healthy” while he’s out on the road.

While speaking with E! News, Kahan said he’s recently approached his fitness journey with a different perspective, stating that while he’s on his “own health journey,” he’s trying to find foods and drinks that not only taste good but also make him feel good.
Consequently, Kahan has been drinking probiotic soda, which he said he “loves,” and he gushed about its “natural” taste, which doesn’t make him feel sick or bloated. “It’s just a really good probiotic soda,” he said.
Kahan explained that swapping unhealthy foods for foods that still let him scratch his craving itch has made a huge difference in his day-to-day life.
“The ultimate cheat code in life is to find the vices that are inconsequential to your health, right?” he said.
And while the “Great Divide” singer has been enjoying various foods that taste just as good as his previous unhealthy snacks, he said he’s learning how to enjoy his new finds without feeling guilty.
“And sometimes I feel like I have to stop myself when I’m drinking [one of my probiotic sodas]. I’m like, ‘I’m doing something bad,’ and I’m worried that my old middle school principal [is] watching me or something. And it’s like ‘No, this is good for you, and it’s good, and those two things can coexist at the same time,” he said.
This isn’t the first time that Kahan has spoken freely about his struggles with health and wellness. While appearing on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast, the indie-folk singer said he’s spent a majority of his life wishing he were someone else.
“I worry that I’ve just wasted so much time hating who I am,” he confessed. “Like I wake up and I’m like, ‘Why do I feel like s–t?’ I’m pissed. It’s a beautiful morning. The birds are f—ing chirping. It’s beautiful outside. Career success aside, I have this lovely little life, and I wish I could wake up and not be miserable for no reason; it feels like, sometimes.”
Kahan went even further, telling Shetty that he’s battled body dysmorphia, a mental health condition in which a person can’t stop thinking about perceived defects or flaws in their appearance, according to the Mayo Clinic, since he was young. He even detailed it during the Netflix documentary “Out of Body.”
“It really came out in the documentary, and watching that back is like, even my mom was just like, I had no idea,” he said. “It’s just this thing that is there within me. And yeah, really difficult concept because it’s so tied up in who you are and the feelings you’ve had since you were a kid that it’s hard to describe the body dysmorphia problem succinctly. It’s complicated, man.”
Kahan is currently on “The Great Divide” tour, stopping in cities across the world and performing some of his biggest hits for thousands of fans.
He told E! News that to help keep his body and soul in tip-top shape, he’s taking extra precautions, such as speaking to a therapist once a week.
“I [also] make sure I’m staying healthy in the gym and eating well as well as I can. I like to journal and just kind of like try to remind myself of different gratitudes I have for all of it,” he said.
And speaking of gratitude, Kahan explained that while he’s experienced an abundance of that on his current tour, he’s also learning not to be “locked” in that place, adding that it’s just as important to be honest about his feelings not only with himself, but with those around him.
“The dialogue I have with my band and my crew, my family; always being open and honest, and just letting kind of how we feel be part of the discussion every day,” he stated. “We have a really serious backdrop of mental health on this tour, and that’s been really special.”

You may have noticed that we love comfy, easy-going fashion pieces, especially in the summertime. If we could, we’d always wear bohemian chic clothing that feels effortlessly cool, relaxed and rich — and clearly, we’re not the only ones. Everyone from ‘It’ girls to celebrities like Sienna Miller, Katie Holmes, Jessica Alba and more are donning ’70s-inspired styles for the season, making it the trend to watch (and copy).
As a little refresher, ’70s summer fashion is all about loose, billowy clothing with floral patterns, ruffles, lace and other folky accents that feel true to the bohemian era of peace and love. And while the style can skew a bit costumey, these high-end-looking options are anything but. We only pulled items that look trendy yet can weave into your existing summer wardrobe. Plus, they’re from brands you and A-listers love, like Free People, Gap, Mango, Topshop and more.
1. Our Favorite: Feel groovy and modern at the very same time when you slip on this floral maxi dress. The puffed sleeves, tiered skirt and vintage-esque color palette feel just right in 1976 and 2026.
2. Laid-Back Luxe: Crochet tops may be super popular right now, but they were also a huge trend in the ’70s. Amplify the woven pattern with a drawstring front and bell sleeves, and you’re ready to hit the local record store.
3. Top Seller: While we love a classic blue denim look, these beige bell bottoms feel more aligned with the free spirit vibes. The high waist and extended leg style looks like something Farrah Fawcett would totally wear.
4. Soft Statement: Peasant-style tops may be synonymous with cottagecore vibes, but that trend is really part of an old-school revival. This peasant-inspired dress delivers a vintage appearance that we could see being worn to outdoor concerts and farmers’ markets alike.
5. Everyday Essential: Another style Fawcett wore? Raglan tees. They’re cool, chill and so ’70s. We love the red cap sleeve moment, however, it also comes in blue and brown options.
6. Quite the Charmer: Halter neck tops were (and are) all the rage, giving off a beautifully flattering look that shows off your shoulders. Pair that with a dainty crochet design, and you’re in business.
7. Anything But Basic: With a striped pattern like this and an asymmetrical hem, it’s easy to see why this Topshop top is one of our favorites. It feels funky yet modern, especially with the sleek boat neckline.
8. Comfort MVP: Whether you’re heading to a music festival or grabbing brunch with the girls, you’ll want to do so in this boho-style maxi skirt. The geometric ‘bandana’ pattern, tiers and high slit are chef’s kiss.
9. Celeb-Approved: If you want to incorporate the vintage look into your work wardrobe, consider this Quince peasant blouse. It gives off the same vibe as Holmes’ rich mom top, but with a buttoned-up twist.
10. Popular Pick: Gap’s ’70s Flare Jeans are iconic, embodying the hippie era with a loose silhouette, extended pant hem and booty-hugging fit. The high-rise and medium wash totally sell it.
11. Year-Round Staple: We’ve been eyeing this easy, breezy Free People top for a while, and this summer trend just might convince Us to grab it. The square neckline, lace trim and pretty pleats are perfect for right now and layered in the fall.
12. Closet Hero: We would be remiss if we didn’t include an effortlessly cool jumpsuit in a ’70s-inspired roundup! This Free People option literally looks like something from a vintage store due to the scrunched U-neckline, interesting side seam pockets and oversized fit. Add a bandana and brown leather boots, and you’re out the door.
13. Last But Not Least: This gorgeous eyelet top might become your new go-to staple. It has a pretty scalloped neckline, perforated floral details and flared sleeves. The semi-peplum style also makes the shirt super flattering.

Streamer HMBL Zayy kicked off his cross-country journey on March 26, setting out to walk from Philadelphia to California. His mission was to raise funds to send five teenagers to Africa and build a university where youth can learn trade skills and entrepreneurship.
The streamer isn’t new to taking on big challenges. Earlier this year, he hosted a seven-day peak stream, fasting from sunup to sundown. All of the proceeds went toward taking five Philadelphia youth to Disney World for the first time.
The walk to California was no joke. Throughout the journey, Zayy faced several obstacles, including getting hit by cars while continuing to push toward his goal. Along the way, he also met different people who supported and encouraged him. Despite the challenges, Zayy continued to share prayers throughout the entire journey. Now, he’s celebrating a major milestone
Earlier this week, HMBL Zayy celebrated on stream in front of the California state sign after completing his 3,000-mile journey.
During the emotional moment, he screamed, “3,000 miles! What they gon’ say now? What they gon’ say now? The doubters, the haters, the ones who said we wasn’t gon’ make it. What they gon’ say now? We ain’t quit. We ain’t take a ride when times got hard. We kept pushing. We fought through the pain each and every day. Mountains, the desert, wildlife. What they gon’ say now? It’s nothing that we can’t do.”

What Do You Think Roomies?
Apparently, Simone Biles and Avril Lavigne have unfinished business from Taylor Swift‘s wedding!
The world-class gymnast attended the very private wedding ceremony between the singer and her NFL player beau, Travis Kelce, earlier in the month, and is revealing that a famous vocalist parted with one of her prized possessions.
Simone Biles attended the wedding at Madison Square Garden, accompanied by her husband, Jonathan Owens, and dressed to impress in a stunning red number by Vietnamese designer Đỗ Long.

The Olympic medalist detailed the unexpected moment she discovered her expensive eyewear was no longer in her possession as she enjoyed the night at Swift and Kelce’s wedding ceremony.
Biles and her NFL player husband joined hundreds of other celebrities from the sports and music world to witness the lovebirds exchange their vows. On Sunday, July 26, during an appearance at the Faces of Fitness festival in Chicago, the athlete revealed that Lavigne might have unknowingly left the venue with her prized eyewear.
As shared by US Weekly, she added that she eventually reached out on Instagram with a light-hearted message asking if the accessory could be returned, but she does not think the “Complicated” singer has seen it yet. Biles’ story about her missing eyeglasses continues to complete the puzzle of things that may have gone down at Swift and Kelce’s union.
While her eyewear remains unreturned, the athlete can take solace that her statement-making dress left a lasting impression on internet users.
The outfit, which includes a halter neckline with a half-open back, created an optical illusion of rippling chainmail, with layers of leather interwoven with silver metallic jewels and red eyelets.
Biles paired her look with silver accessories, matching purses, and heels, styling her hair in a high bun with a side-swept fringe detail. Owens matched her aesthetic in a burgundy-and-black suit, prompting fans to gush endlessly about their flawless styling and appearance.
“The epitome of perfection. You’ve earned it all! Truly stunning and pure grace,” impressed fans wrote, declaring that Biles has set the bar high for beauty.

Swift and Kelce’s wedding was a gift that kept on giving, and it did give two guests an unexpected brush with Tom Cruise. During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” alongside Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández said the biggest surprise of the night wasn’t the star-studded guest list but getting the chance to chat with Cruise.
The SNL comedian shared with host Andy Cohen that the two bonded over growing up in households surrounded by women, calling the conversation one of the highlights of the evening. As noted by PEOPLE, Hart then jokingly teased Hernández for supposedly sneaking videos despite the wedding’s no-phone policy.
Hernández quickly laughed it off and insisted he never broke the rules, even playfully addressing Kelce to clear his name. Former NFL star Greg Olsen also had a memorable encounter at the superstar’s wedding.
In his podcast, days after the wedding, Olsen said he remembers that at the cocktail hour, Cruise went out of his way to compliment his hat, and a conversation started outside the men’s restroom that lasted but a few moments.

The American sports commentator detailed another memorable moment at the duo’s wedding, which began as soon as the groom laid eyes on Swift for the first time while she took a walk down the aisle. Appearing on The Athletic’s Starkville podcast, the veteran sportscaster recalled that Kelce became visibly emotional throughout the ceremony.
USA Today noted that Buck recalled the NFL star first tearing up as his nieces walked down the aisle before becoming even more overwhelmed when Swift made her entrance. Buck also commended the length, sincerity, humor, and personal commitment in the couple’s vows.
He revealed that the ceremony felt genuine, leaving him convinced the July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden was the couple’s official wedding rather than a symbolic event. The reception was equally special, as he had the chance to meet Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Scarlett Johansson.
Paul McCartney’s “I Want to Hold Your Hand” was another highlight of the night for the media personality. He noted that despite an estimated 1000 people present, he spent the night wondering who would come along and tell him he was not supposed to be there.

Not just for the happiest days of their lives, Swift also showed up for Biles during one of the lowest moments of her career as a gymnast. As reported by The Blast, when Biles announced her decision to step back from several events at the Tokyo Olympics due to mental health reasons, Swift was there to lift her.
The singer praised Biles’ courage in a promotional video, commending her willingness to be so open about her struggles. She described that move as a remarkable part of her encouraging story and journey, which has made her a champion and an inspiration.
Biles responded to the gesture, thanking Swift for her thoughtful words, which moved her emotionally. Swift added that the gymnast’s lifestyle had taught her valuable lessons about resilience and emotional strength.
Since making that decision in 2021, Biles had remained open about mental health topics and prioritized therapy. Although she made a remarkable return and dominated the charts at the Paris Olympics, winning three gold medals and one silver, she is still on the fence about competing in 2028.
