10 Most Exciting Apple TV Shows To Binge-Watch, Ranked
Apple TV has built one of the most impressive catalogs in streaming over the years. Their shows reflect a dedication and quality that’s tough to see anywhere else; perhaps even statistically, Apple TV has the least amount of criticized original programming, and though their volume is disproportionate compared to other streamers, it’s commendable to see a deliberateness in a streamer’s release schedule.
Though Apple TV is known for its versatile drama content, it has a range of genres across all shows; not all of them are exciting, but some are so fun and easy to watch that they’re worth a binge-watch. From dystopian thrillers to spy dramas and historical epics, these are the most exciting Apple TV shows to binge-watch.
10
‘Bad Sisters’ (2022–2024)
Bad Sisters is exciting because it’s one of the rare shows that prepares you for what is about to happen. It doesn’t spare its leads any trauma or heavy-hitting truths, showing them as more than just heroes of a story but rather as very regular people, humans who try to do the right thing. Bad Sisters was co-created by and stars Sharon Horgan, known for her dry, sarcastic humor; she’s surrounded by other Irish actors in this adaptation of the Belgian series Clan, adding her stamp of dark humor into the story. With two seasons and 18 episodes so far, this is one of the easiest shows to binge-watch over a long weekend.
Bad Sisters is a black comedy-thriller that follows the five Garvey sisters—Eva, Grace, Ursula, Bibi, and Becka—who become inescapably drawn together by the untimely “accidental” death of Grace’s (Anne-Marie Duff) abusive husband, John Paul (Claes Bang). The first season flashes between past and present as two life insurance investigators (Brian Gleeson and Daryl McCormack) look into John Paul’s death, revealing the sisters’ various attempts to kill the monstrous man who made their lives hell. The second season jumps ahead two years, exploring the guilt and consequences of their actions. The chemistry between the sisters feels genuine, and while Season 2 may lack the oomph of the first, Bad Sisters is one of the best original series on Apple TV.

‘The Studio’ (2025–Present)
The Studio may not be the first thing you think of when you hear “exciting,” since this adjective is typically attributed to thrillers and action. However, one look at The Studio‘s pilot episode will make you realize just why this black comedy/satire is so fun. There’s one episode that was fully filmed as a single take (aptly called “The Oner”), and some extended scenes and episodes throughout the show are also continuous, or at least appear to be, to achieve the perfect flow of events. This is why The Studio is so exciting—so much happens in a span of 20–30 minutes, and it avalanches into incredible slapstick events.
The Studio follows Matt Remick (Seth Rogen), the newly appointed head of a fictional movie studio, Continental. It’s a clever Hollywood satire that explores the tension between artistic integrity and corporate demands, with Matt representing integrity and the increasing demand for IP-focused content symbolizing the industry’s urgency to keep up with trends. People around Rogen are just as ridiculous and brilliant, from Kathryn Hahn to Catherine O’Hara, who passed away before getting the chance to star in Season 2. You’ll finish The Studio within a single day, for sure.

‘Your Friends and Neighbors’ (2025–Present)
For anyone chronically online, you must have seen that meme of Jon Hamm dancing in a nightclub under some blue lights to a 2010s house tune; that scene is from Your Friends and Neighbors, one of the quietest and most underrated bangers streaming on Apple TV right now. Many consider this to be Hamm’s best role since Mad Men, as he delivers sharp comedic timing and drama, leaning into the absurdist and black comedy nature of the show. With Season 2 premiering in April 2026, Season 3 has already been ordered, too; Jonathan Tropper‘s series is gearing up to be one of the most consistent shows on TV, though that’s not surprising for Tropper.
Your Friends and Neighbors follows Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager who loses his job when a consensual hookup with a coworker becomes an HR violation. This gives Coop’s ruthless boss a convenient excuse to lay him off while keeping his clients. Losing his job makes Coop resort to robbing his wealthy neighbors’ mansions to maintain his lifestyle, and what begins as a caper comedy evolves into a deep dive into themes of family, class privilege, and toxic masculinity. You can binge-watch the first season just ahead of the second to prepare for Coop’s new adventures.
7
‘Dark Matter’ (2024–Present)
Some viewers have called Dark Matter Apple TV’s best sci-fi show since Severance. Competition is tight in that category on Apple TV, so this isn’t for nothing; Dark Matter may be slow at some points, but it’s incredibly exciting as soon as we—and the protagonist—get the hang of the physics. Blake Crouch adapted his book into nine episodes, while Joel Edgerton is fantastic in playing two versions of the same man. As a bonus, the show uses Chicago’s urban landscape beautifully, giving noir-esque night sequences, in particular, a breathtaking atmosphere.
Dark Matter follows college physics professor Jason Dessen (Edgerton), who is a happy family man living with his wife Daniela (Jennifer Connelly) and their teenage son, Charlie (Oakes Fegley). One evening, he’s abducted by a strange man and sent into an alternate version of his life; as it turns out, Jason’s place has been taken by his doppelgänger from another dimension. Jason must go through numerous parallel realities to return to his true family, facing the most terrifying enemy imaginable: himself. Captivating from the first episode, Dark Matter is a mind-bending hard sci-fi series that roots its emotional weight in Jason’s motivation and emotions. It’s a pretty cool mix of paranoid thriller elements and complex scientific ideas.
6
‘Silo’ (2023–Present)
Silo has an interesting position on Rotten Tomatoes: it has 90% critics’ approval and only 68% audience approval; yet, when viewers discuss Silo, they’re typically very enthusiastic about the show, enjoying its layered themes, dystopian sci-fi setting, and impeccable set design and production. Silo was based on Hugh Howey‘s novel trilogy of the same name, and showrunners had planned it to be a four-part series from the start; we’re now two seasons in, awaiting the third and fourth.
Silo is set in a dystopian, devastated future, where humanity lives in a massive underground silo, a 144-story structure housing 10,000 people who believe the outside world is uninhabitable. Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson), an engineer with a rebellious nature, begins to uncover secrets about the silo’s origins and the reasons people cannot ever leave it, as well as why those who do simply never return. Silo is another series you might deem a bit slow, but this gives the narrative more tension and depth, filling the atmosphere of the show with uncertainty. Once the plot deepens, you’ll find it impossible to put this series down.
5
‘Monarch: Legacy of Monsters’ (2023–Present)
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters isn’t a widely discussed show, so we’ll summarize it with a few words: it’s a clever expansion of the MonsterVerse without asking its viewers to be experts on the subject matter. If you like the Japanese kaiju movies (Godzilla, etc.), Monarch plays on that well, though, admittedly, the monster scenes are rather limited. However, they’re completely spectacular when they arrive, keeping viewers hooked on watching; the human drama is also compelling enough to carry the episodes between monster appearances, and it’s guided by Wyatt Russell and his father, legendary actor Kurt Russell.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is set in 2015, after the battle between Godzilla and the Titans in San Francisco (as shown in 2014’s Godzilla); the story follows two siblings, Cate Randa (Anna Sawai) and Kentaro, who begin tracing their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization named Monarch. The narrative jumps between the 1950s and the present day, with Kurt and Wyatt Russell playing the same character, Lee Shaw, at different ages. Monarch is an intriguing, character-driven conspiracy thriller that happens to feature giant monsters, and it’s a show you won’t just stop watching so easily—it’ll pull you in almost instantly. Season 2 has just started, too, so you’ll surely catch up quickly.
4
‘Chief of War’ (2025–Present)
Jason Momoa returns to Apple TV to produce a groundbreaking series that we can safely claim hasn’t been done in such a manner until now. Chief of War is his decade-long passion project, and it’s unique because it’s performed almost entirely in the Hawaiian language, with costumes and weapons crafted to historical specifications. Beyond that, experts translated dialogue, the cast learned to speak the language, and filming took place in New Zealand and Hawaii with minimal CGI; as a cherry on top, Hans Zimmer and James Everingham provided the cinematic, epic score.
Chief of War was based on true events, set during a time of war between the four big Hawaiian islands—Hawai’i, Maui, O’ahu, and Kaua’i—and follows the warrior chief Ka’iana (Momoa) of Maui as he tries to unify the Hawaiian islands before Western colonization in the late 18th century. It’s an ambitious and epic production, violent but human all at once, showing exceptional storytelling and even greater action, depicting Ka’iana’s ambitions, struggles, and dominance while his people learn how to trust him. You can watch the nine episodes of Chief of War instantly, since the show is incredibly immersive, and you can do it before a potential Season 2 and even 3 are announced.
3
‘Black Bird’ (2022)
Black Bird is one of the most intense and thrilling cat-and-mouse chases ever made for TV, and the fact that it’s a miniseries makes it all the better. Why? Because it’s a fully wrapped-up story, and all that’s left for you, after binge-watching it, is to give it a rewatch and enjoy all the nuances of Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser‘s character work. Egerton dials up his charm as the arrogant Jimmy Keene, but the real revelation is Hauser, who delivers a career-best performance as the unsettling Larry Hall. Hauser won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his performance, and the series truly is one of the best Apple TV has ever offered its viewers.
Black Bird was based on true events, and this six-episode series follows Jimmy Keene (Egerton), a charismatic drug dealer sentenced to 10 years in a minimum security prison. The FBI offers him a deal: transfer to a maximum-security prison, befriend suspected serial killer Larry Hall (Hauser), and get him to confess to multiple murders, including revealing where the bodies are buried. In return, Jimmy walks free, and the charges are dropped. The pacing feels deliberately slow, made to amp up the dread while giving insight into who Keene and Hall truly are. Dennis Lehane‘s masterful script makes Black Bird a well-written show, but the performances elevate it to a higher level of brilliance.
2
‘Slow Horses’ (2022–Present)
Slow Horses is an interesting breed: having started in 2022, the show has so far stacked five magnificent seasons that maintain the same level of quality throughout. Slow Horses may have a lot of episodes, but you’ll find yourself welcome at Slough House as much as anyone possibly can by the time your weekend is over. The beauty of Slow Horses is how well it can move from agents cleverly uncovering an elaborate threat to public safety to its main spies accidentally dropping a can of paint on a vital political figure without a dramatic change in tone.
Slow Horses was based on Mick Herron‘s novel series called Slough House (which is even funnier source material), which is the name of the “dumping ground” for MI5 agents who’ve screwed up so badly they can’t be fired, just banished to administrative hell (known as “slow horses”). Slough House is run by Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman), a flatulent, disheveled, and brilliantly rude spy who was once legendary. These “slow horses” keep getting dragged back into real espionage, often because Lamb is several steps ahead of everyone else, often including the criminals. Oldman’s Lamb is one of television’s greatest creations, and Slow Horses is smart, cynical, and utterly addictive.
1
‘Severance’ (2022–Present)
Severance is an incredibly ambitious series, and it works in all the ways it tries to. Set in modern times, yet somehow pristinely decorated in retro-futuristic sets and motifs, Severance deliberately feels claustrophobic, sterile, and confusing. You’re meant to get lost in the world of the “severed” before you’re rudely cut away and sent somewhere else, which turns out to be their “real life.” The show works on multiple levels: as workplace satire, a philosophical exploration of identity, and a mystery-box thriller. The Season 1 finale is one of the most compelling hours of television in recent memory, while Season 2 episodes range from great to near perfection.
Severance is set in the offices of Lumon Industries, where employees can undergo a “severance” procedure that surgically divides their memories: their “innie” exists only at work, and their “outie” remembers nothing of the job. Mark S. (Adam Scott) leads a team of innies who perform mysterious, repetitive tasks while his outie, Mark, lives blissfully unaware of his own job. When a former colleague starts leaving the team cryptic messages, they begin questioning everything, and Severance unravels into thriller territory. You will likely need roundtable discussions with friends after every episode, because Severance is television at its most ambitious and most rewarding.

Another ‘SLOMW’ Star Hits The Broadway Stage In NYC
Another “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star is taking the Broadway stage. Well, off-Broadway stage. That’s right, Connor Leavitt, husband to “Dancing With the Stars” alum Whitney Leavitt, has snagged a role in “11 to Midnight,” the high-energy street-dance show created by viral dance duo Austin and Marideth Telenko (Cost n’ Mayor). Conner’s appearance in the snappy production comes days after his wife wraps her final week in the long-running musical “Chicago.”

According to a press release sent to The Blast, professional Instagram husband and “SLOMW” star Conner is joining the cast of “11 to Midnight” for a limited three-week run.
The former finance professional has taken quite a sharp turn over the last several years, leaning more into his creative side as a performer and magician.
In addition to his online content creation, the father of three specializes in storytelling, dad jokes, and dancing.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Conner explained how excited he was about his latest opportunity, saying, “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to join the cast of 11 to Midnight and be a part of such a special, unique theater experience here in New York.”
‘SLOMW’ Star Says His Wife Was The ‘Inspiration’ Behind Him Joining Cast Of ’11 to Midnight’

Continuing, Conner praised his wife, Whitney, and cited her ambitious personality and go-getter mindset as the “inspiration” behind his pursuing his dream. He also credited her “experience onstage really helped me find a love and appreciation for the theater.”
The show takes place during one memorable hour at a New Year’s Eve apartment party somewhere in New York City.
“Seven friends – some old, some new, all tangled up in the messy magic of friendship – come together to toast the New Year. Whether it’s 1921 or 2025, the ritual remains the same – we make a wish, promise big, and hopefully score a midnight kiss,” the production’s description reads.
The production, which features street-style dancing and a “genre-hopping soundtrack,” opened on January 28, 2026. The show’s run has been extended through Sunday, May 31.
Cost N’ Mayor Gets Real About Seeing Their Show Come To Life On Stage
The production was created by the viral dancing sensation, Cost n’ Mayor, who rose to fame by sharing flashy dance videos on TikTok. During an interview with The Blast, the pair got real about what it was like to see their dreams finally come true.
“Dancing for live audiences every night and just craving that in person connection between stage and audience, and we were like, we’ve got to get back to New York and do this again. And so we started concepting out shows,” they said. “And the rest is history. We made it in a year, which is crazy to concept it, make it and get it to an off-Broadway stage in a year. It has been the greatest journey ever, and the show is so much fun, and getting to do it in front of an audience in New York every night is unreal.”
‘SLOMW’ Star Talks ‘Manifesting’ Her Best Life

As Conner prepares for his Broadway debut, his wife, Whitney, is wrapping up hers. In a previous interview with PEOPLE, the outspoken reality star got emotional while discussing the moment she learned she booked the role of Roxie Hart in “Chicago.”
“I feel like everything that I’ve been manifesting feels more within reach,” she said. “Like I can see it and it’s there and I’m reaching it and I’m going after it and I’m just so grateful.”
Will Whitney And Conner Leave ‘SLOMW’ In The Future?

Before landing that role, the mother of three booked the lead role in a rom-com film set to air in winter 2026.
With her growing resume and busy schedule, how does Whitney see “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” fitting into her future plans?
“Well, I’m figuring it out in real time,” she said, according to The Blast. “We’re figuring it out together, but it feels like that’s the trajectory of where it’s going.”
While Whitney acknowledged the role the Hulu series has played in her career, the 32-year-old believes she’s ready for her next adventure.
“… it feels like it’s time to challenge myself in other ways and fulfill these dreams and passions that I’ve been trying to get even before the show,” she said.

Lauren Burnham Explains Why She Doesn’t Like Alex Cooper
Lauren Burnham is clarifying why she’s not a huge fan of “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper.
Posting via her TikTok account on Friday, May 1, The Bachelor alum, 34, said she wanted to “clear the air” and “give you the short and not-so-sweet information” about why she had a strong dislike for Cooper.
Burnham says the beef stems from when the “Call Her Daddy” podcast previously had a recurring segment to make fun of her then-unborn daughter Alessi, 6, whom she shares with husband Arie Luyendyk Jr. (The couple are also parents to 4-year-old twins Senna and Lux and 7-month-old daughter Livvy.)
“They had this regular segment ongoing and they thought it would be funny to make fun of our unborn baby,” Burnham explained.
Burnham said she didn’t care if she and her husband were mocked, but her unborn child was crossing a line.
“Make fun of us, don’t care. But they took it too far. They made a regular segment before she was born and after she was born where they were sexualizing our child and talking very inappropriately and disgustingly about her,” Burnham added.
The reality TV alum said the comments reached the point that she and Luyendyk considered taking legal action against Cooper but ultimately chose not to.

“We thought it would blow over. She just kept going on forever. Eventually she stopped and we kind of forgot about it and now that it’s resurfacing again, it still makes me so furious,” Burnham added. “I just hope that all of this controversy that’s hanging around her right now causes her to rethink the level that she is willing to stoop to to get attention, views, whatever it is that she’s looking for because it’s not okay and that’s all I have to say about that.”
Us Weekly reached out to Cooper’s representative for comment.
Burnham previously spoke about her fury over the comments during an episode of the “Unplanned” podcast in 2023.
“I was really upset because they would mention her and then make inappropriate comments right after. It was so classless,” she said at the time.
Burnham continued, “Arie was like, ‘Don’t do anything about it.’ I was about to hire a lawyer. Honestly, they should be in big trouble for doing that. It’s not OK. I never said anything because he felt like if we addressed it publicly, it would only make it bigger. That’s what they want.”
Earlier this week, Burnham declared she was throwing her support behind Alix Earle amid the influencer’s drama with Cooper.
“Team @alixearle all the way,” Burnham wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, April 30. “It’s about time Alex Cooper gets called out. & yes, it’s personal.”

Vanessa Bryant Marks Late Daughter Gianna’s Birthday
Vanessa Bryant is commemorating her late daughter Gianna’s birthday with a poignant post.
The widow of Kobe Bryant took to Instagram on Friday, May 1, to mark what would have been her daughter’s 20th birthday.
“Happy birthday to my sweet baby angel, Gianna. Words can’t express how much I love and miss you mamacita,” Vanessa, 43, captioned the post, which featured a throwback image of herself kissing her daughter. “Mommy loves you so much! #HappyBirthday #20 💕💕”
Followers flocked to the comments section to share their support. LeBron James, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony, Kris Jenner, and Gianna’s older sister Natalia were among those who commented on the post with their love.
Kobe and Gianna – along with seven others – were tragically killed in a January 2020 helicopter crash while on the way to his Mamba Sports Academy for a basketball game. Kobe and Gianna were 43 and 13 respectively. (Kobe and Vanessa also shared daughters Natalia, 23, Bianka, 9, and Capri, 6.)
Each year, Vanessa remembers Gianna and Kobe on their respective birthdays.
“Happy birthday, Gigi! Mommy loves and misses you more than I could ever express. I love you Gianna. ❤️19 ♉️ 5/1 #Mambacita,” posted Vanessa last year.

In 2024, Vanessa reflected on what could have been as she marked what would have been Gianna’s 18th birthday.
“Happy birthday to my gorgeous girl, Gigi! I love you. I miss you. I’m so proud of you,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “2024 was your year. You would’ve been graduating high school and choosing which college to go to. (I would’ve been trying my hardest to convince you to stay close to home).”
Meanwhile, Vanessa shared an emotional tribute to Kobe in August 2025 to mark what would have been the NBA star’s 47th birthday.
“We love and miss you and Gigi so much,” Vanessa wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of the couple sharing a kiss. “Sending our love to you. Happy birthday, baby. @kobebryant ❤️.”
Vanessa and Kobe first met on the set of Eastsidaz’s “G’d Up” music video in 1999, where Vanessa was working as a backup dancer. They tied the knot in 2001 before welcoming their daughters.
Following Kobe and Gianna’s deaths, Vanessa sued Los Angeles County for invasion of privacy and negligence after Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department employees took and distributed photos of the helicopter crash. In August 2022, she was awarded $16 million in damages. The following year, she settled for nearly $29 million, all of which was donated to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.

Why Are CBS Shows Facing Changes? Fall Lineup Explained
The fall 2026 lineup is going to look a little different for CBS after some shows went through surprising changes.
CBS announced its schedule on Wednesday, April 15, with viewers noticing some substantial changes. Ghosts, Matlock and NCIS: Sydney received a shakeup by having their premieres moved to 2027 for midseason. They will join the new show Einstein, which is finally premiering in 2027 as well.
Matlock‘s timeslot will be given to Elsbeth to allow Cupertino to premiere on the same night. NCIS: Sydney, meanwhile, is moving to midseason as NCIS: Origins — which received a shorter episode order — takes over to pair off with NCIS: New York. Fire Country also received a smaller episode order.
The network originally announced a spate of early renewals in January, with only Watson and DMV left in limbo. CBS ultimately renewed 12 dramas for its next season, including all four freshman shows: Marshals, CIA, Sheriff Country and Boston Blue. The network also previously picked up two new shows for 2026-27: Robert and Michelle King’s Cupertino and Matthew Gray Gubler‘s Einstein.
In March, Watson and DMV were canceled after Eternally Yours and The Tillbrooks were expected to proceed beyond the pilot stage. The Tillbrooks, however, ultimately didn’t receive a series order.
CBS also found success with new additions such as Yellowstone spinoff Marshals, which was picked up for season 2 after its premiere was watched by 20.6 million viewers within seven days. It marked the most-watched network original series premiere without a football lead-in since 2017.
“Marshals delivered a breakout performance, capturing a massive audience across platforms and quickly establishing itself as one of TV’s most powerful new series,” CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said in a statement. “The overwhelming viewer response speaks to the strength of the Yellowstone world, the bold, character-driven storytelling from the creative team and the dynamic cast performances led by Luke Grimes.”
According to a press release, CBS had several wins with Marshals and Justin Hartley‘s Tracker. Both shows came out as the top two most‑watched during their premiere week. The debut of Luke Grimes‘ spinoff, meanwhile, ranked as CBS’ most-streamed episode ever on Paramount+.
Boston Blue and Sheriff Country also scored quick season 2 pickups, with Sheriff Country averaging 7.6 million viewers and Blue Bloods bringing in 8 million viewers and winning “every Friday night in total viewers.”

Fire Country Cuts Episode Count After Showrunner Change, Cast Exits
Fire Country is going through a massive change when it returns for season 5.
The CBS drama received a 13-episode order, which is down from its usual 20 episodes. It is joining NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney — and Matlock — as shows with a reduced episode order. Deadline reported that the change comes after the network expanded its scripted roster for the fall 2026 TV season.
Fire Country, which premiered in 2022, follows inmate Bode (Max Thieriot) as he attempts to shorten his prison sentence by volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program. By the third season, Bode is out of prison and determined to prove himself at Cal Fire.
The hit series previously went through a shakeup when news broke in April 2025 that budget cuts led to Billy Burke and Stephanie Arcila‘s exits. (Burke has yet to address his departure.)
“I had no idea ever. But at the same time, I know that this is the nature of the industry that I’m in, and I have accepted the flow of release and acceptance throughout my journey and knowing that when one door closes, another one always opens,” Arcila exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2025. “We have this beautiful eternal door of revolving desires in what we love in life. I believe that if we put resistance towards that, sometimes it stops us from fulfilling other things that we love.”
Showrunner Tia Napolitano, meanwhile, defended the decision.
“It’s a fire show. Anyone can go at any time,” she told Us in October 2025. “But in terms of losing people, we’re also adding some really fun guest cast. It’s a revolving door of people from Sharon’s past and new faces that are exciting to bring conflict and secrets and twists and turns.”
Napolitano teased how the show will have to balance “really spicing it up” while still walking a “fine line” of paying tribute to the loss.
“What we’ve done is really thread the needle of honoring — especially Vince — because Gabriella is gone, but she’s gone to a happy and successful life. She’s still out there. But we really walk this line of honoring Vince while also finding hope rather quickly,” she noted. “Looking forward, the theme of the season is rising from the ashes and recovery.”
Napolitano continued: “How do you recover from something like this? And we’re really going to see everybody rise to the occasion, in celebration of Vince, of his life and in honoring the sacrifice that he made.”
Napolitano has since exit the show and won’t be returning for season 5.
“I am beyond proud of the past four seasons of Fire Country,” she said in a January statement. “All of my gratitude to our cast, crew, writers, producers, fans, and of course CBS and CBS Studios. It’s been a beautiful ride!”
Fire Country returns to CBS on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes will be streaming the next day on Paramount+.

Landman’s Paulina Chavez Speculates on Season 3 Story Lines
Just because Paulina Chávez is in the dark about season 3 of Landman doesn’t mean she can’t speculate wildly with Us about possible story lines.
“We don’t know anything,” Chávez, 23, who plays Ariana, exclusively told Us Weekly while celebrating the National Pork Board’s new Explora Todo El Gusto Del Pork campaign. “Obviously, I do assume that we’re gonna really get into more of the nitty-gritty of these character dynamics.”
Chávez has hopes for where her character will fit in now that Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) is striking out on his own, adding, “Obviously, we have never seen how Ariana fits into the Norris family, and she’s never really interacted with [Ali Larter‘s] Angela. So I’m excited to see that.”
As Chávez is “eagerly waiting” for scripts for the hit Paramount+ series, she indulged Us by weighing in on all the possibilities when it comes to Ariana. Fresh off an engagement to Cooper (Jacob Lofland), Chávez could see them hitting another major milestone.
“A small wedding [must be] coming. But I also feel like this is a great opportunity for Ariana to maybe do something that her family has never done before, which is maybe go to college or maybe take some night classes,” the actress noted. “Especially if she is going to take more time with the baby and figure out the relationship with Cooper further.”
Chávez continued: “But she is also helping him with his goals and in the family business. I think that Ariana is going to want to do something for herself and to really help. Honestly, I see her being mentored by Rebecca, and maybe she’s following in the footsteps of making sure that they are protected legally.”
Chávez noted that Ariana would want a “small” wedding — but her future mother-in-law would not.

“Cooper and Ariana, they can hold off on it a little bit, but we’ll see. Maybe we will be in preparation for the wedding, but you won’t see it until it happens,” she noted. “Mexican weddings tend to be over the top. Angela is like a Latina mom by heart because she’s just so loud and free and open. She would want to go very extravagant with the wedding. … Maybe they’ll just go to the courthouse.”
The idea of bringing their families together sounded appealing to Chávez, who added, “I would love for Cooper to also see the dynamic between Ariana’s parents and her. I also would love to see both families meeting and see how that’s going to unravel.”
Despite planning a future together, there is one relationship milestone Chávez isn’t in a rush to explore. Chávez, whose character already shares a baby with her late ex-husband, expressed hope that Ariana and Cooper wouldn’t rush into expanding their family.
“Sometimes when you move super fast, sometimes there’s no need to [move as fast in other areas of the relationship]. There’s so much for them to still fortify and still work on their relationship and on themselves too,” she explained. “Either way, it’ll be a ride.”
Chávez also weighed in on Us‘ theory that creator Taylor Sheridan could bridge the worlds between some of his currently airing shows. From Yellowstone spinoffs Dutton Ranch and Marshals to The Madison, there are plenty of options when it comes to shows that could intersect with Landman.
“Definitely Dutton Ranch. That would be super, super cool to see — as a person who watched Yellowstone,” Chávez told Us. “That would be very interesting.”
Before Chávez returns to film the third season of Landman, she is serving as the face of Explora Todo El Gusto Del Pork, which is a new lifestyle food brand from the National Pork Board.
“This comes at a time where it’s such a fun way to show people our culture and in the way we love through food. Pork is something that is a big staple in our dishes that we make, and I feel like this is just going to pay homage to all the Latinas that have come before us and our grandmas,” she shared with Us. “I’m excited to share some of my grandma’s recipes and show the younger generation how to keep that culture going.”
She continued: “I feel like we didn’t really have much. And my sister — thankfully — sat down with my grandma and she wrote a cookbook with some of our favorite recipes. My top favorite is pozole. It’s a stew, and it’s just so yummy, and it’s just comfort food. Every year we also make tamales rojos, but on the side of that, we also make chilucas.”
For Chávez, the best meals come from her mother, whose cooking is “superior.” She adds, “I just love being home. I do like cooking when I have to. If not, I love to eat my mom’s cooking.”
Landman is currently streaming on Paramount+.

Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans Shares Update on Son Jace
Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans appears to be working hard to put her past troubles with her son Jace behind them.
Posting via Instagram on Friday, May 1, Evans, 34, shared a carousel of photos and videos that showed her with Jace, 16, as they spent quality time together at a “parents weekend.”
Evans shared a selfie of the mother-son duo together as well as snippets from a kayaking adventure they embarked on together.
“Therapy and kayaking with my best friend. Both working on ourselves at the same time 💓🥹 #ParentsWeekend #MentalHealthAwareness,” the reality TV star captioned the post.
Evans — who shares Jace with ex Andrew Lewis, Kaiser, 11, with ex Nathan Griffith, and Ensley, 9, with David Eason — also shared drawings from the weekend via her social media, which appeared to be parenting exercises.
One piece of paper read “emotional hijack” and included practical steps to take such as “Do things they enjoy. Respect their feelings” and “Build the relationship.” Evans captioned the post, “#Parenting101.”
Evans’ followers voiced their support for the family update in the comments section.
“Precious, but make sure Jake is on board with you postings😉🤔 Hope All is well with you both🫶🫶,” one wrote, while another added, “Good job momma. ❤️”
Meanwhile, another follower wrote, “He looks good. Am glad he is doing well. So proud of him.”

In March, news broke that Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, filed for emergency custody of Jace after the teen allegedly pulled a gun on his relatives in February. (Jace was living with Barbara in North Carolina at the time, while Jenelle is based in Las Vegas with her younger two children.)
Barbara’s motion was denied but Lewis started a GoFundMe page to raise money for “medical and legal” expenses for his son, which Evans later slammed as a “scam.”
Evans previously shared an update on Jace on the April 13, episode of the “La Femme Talk” podcast.
“I’ll let you know something that I haven’t told anyone,” Evans said on the podcast. “You know I’ve been very quiet online, and behind the scenes, I’ve been actually getting help for my son as needed, and he’s in a safe place [in a] holistic approach.”
She continued, “I think that’s the most important thing. A lot of people, they think since I’m being so quiet that I might not be doing anything and not taking action. But just know that if I’m quiet, I’m up to something.”
