Content Warning: The following article contains spoilers for the HBO show House of the Dragon.Dragons are by far the most beloved and recognized creatures in fantasy. Thanks to their very nebulous definition, nearly every culture around the world has at least one creature that can be considered a dragon. In modern times, the most recognized dragons on television come from HBO’s series based on the works of George R. R. Martin, Game of Thrones, and its prequel, House of the Dragon.
In Martin’s works, dragons are massive beasts of a vaguely magical nature best known as the war mounts of the Valyrian Empire and the Targaryen kings of Westeros. Following a Targaryen civil war called The Dance of the Dragons, they went extinct but returned when Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) hatched three eggs with blood magic. Now that Season 3 of House of the Dragon has reached its conclusion, it’s as good a time as any to look back on the best dragons the show has given thus far before watching them die.

Stormcloud
Rider: Prince Aegon “The Younger” Targaryen

It is tradition for a dragon egg to be placed in the cradle of a Targaryen baby, hoping it will hatch and bond with the child. Such was the case for Stormcloud, the dragon to Princess Rhaenyra’s (Milly Alcock and Emma D’Arcy) fourth son, Aegon the Younger (Jacke and Rory Hard and Gruff and Jude). Since he is still a hatchling, he is unable to go to war, so he is sent away from the fighting.
There is virtually nothing to say about Stormcloud in the show, since he’s such a young dragon. He has a little more to do in the book, namely saving Aegon from the Battle of the Gullet before dying, but the show omitted Aegon and his brother, Viserys, from the naval conflict. Thus, we can only be left to speculate on what will happen with Stormcloud in Season 4.

Arrax
Rider: Prince Lucerys Velaryon
Lucerys (Elliot Grihault) riding his dragon Arrax in House of the DragonImage via HBO
Due to being unable to have children with her first husband, Ser Laenor Velaryon (Matthew Carver, Theo Nate, and John Macmillan), Rhaenyra slept with Ser Harwin Strong (Ryan Corr) and had three children. However, all three hatched dragons, like Arrax, the mount of Rhaenyra’s second son, Prince Lucerys Velaryon (Harvey Sadler and Elliot Grihault). By the time of the Dance of the Dragons, Arrax is large enough to fly and takes Luke on a mission to win the Baratheons of Storm’s End to Rhaenyra’s cause.
Arrax, unfortunately, doesn’t last long, being devoured alongside his rider after a tense chase with the mightiest dragon at the time named Vhagar. Still, he proves himself a brave and worthy mount in his short time and doesn’t hesitate to attack the much larger dragon to keep Luke safe. It’s a tragic moment that shows the bond dragons have for their riders, while also ending any chance of this war ending peacefully.

Tessarion
Rider: Prince Daeron Targaryen
Tessarion among the Hightower ArmyImage via HBO
The youngest son of Queen Alicent Hightower (Emily Carey and Olivia Cooke) and King Viserys I (Paddy Considine), Daeron (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) was raised in Oldtown with his cousin, Lord Ormund Hightower (James Norton). She is nicknamed the Blue Queen due to her vibrant-blue scales, and grows large enough to ride midway into the Dance of the Dragons. Thus, Daeron flies her over Ormund’s army as they march through the Reach, but due to Ormund’s dislike of dragons, Daeron is not allowed to ride her as much as he’d like.
Tessarion is certainly one of the prettiest dragons on the show, but it’s a shame that she isn’t given anything to do this season. What scenes we do get between her and Daeron do seem to hint at the two of them having a good bond, but we’ll have to wait until Season 4 to see how strong it is. This is an unfortunate habit with House of the Dragon, and it’s a shame that it comes at the expense of the dragons.

Vermax
Rider: Prince Jacaerys Velaryon
Vermax flying into battleImage via HBO
Rhaenyra’s eldest son, Jacaerys Velaryon (Leo Hart and Harry Collett), rode the green dragon Vermax. He was the largest of the young dragons by the time of the Dance, allowing Jace to ride him to treat with his mother’s allies and project power. Sadly, his size was not enough to save him or his rider during the Battle of the Gullet, where they were killed by pirates under the command of Sharako Lohar (Abigail Thorn).
Vermax is another young dragon who sadly doesn’t get a lot of moments to shine. Still, what time he does get is well-used, whether it’s helping Jace with politics or burning enemy ships. His death is also one of the most tragic in the series, as he is pulled beneath the waves to bleed out and drown at the same time.

Meraxes
Rider: Queen Rhaenys Targaryen

When Aegon I Targaryen began his conquest of Westeros, he tasked his favorite sister-wife, Rhaenys, with claiming the Stormlands. She rode Meraxes, the second-largest of the initial three Targaryen dragons, named after one of the gods of Old Valyria. After bringing the Stormlands to heel, she flew with the other two dragons in the Field of Fire, but, years later, was shot down and killed in the First Dornish War.
Unlike Balerion the Black Dread, who is spoken of with much relevance years after his death, Meraxes is barely mentioned on the show outside of brief lore descriptions. That said, she is still one of the dragons who created modern-day Westeros, so she cannot be completely discredited. Her skull can be seen in Dragonstone, identified by the damage to her left eye socket from the scorpion bolt that brought her down.

Dreamfyre
Riders: Princess Rhaena Targaryen and Queen Helaena Targaryen
A close-up of Dreamfyre, a dragon with dark blue scales and spikes along its head, in House of the DragonImage via HBO
One of the few adult-sized dragons on the side of Aegon II (Ty Tennant and Tom Clynn-Carney), Dreamfyre has been with House Targaryen since the reign of its third king, Maegor the Cruel. She was originally ridden by Maegor’s niece and queen, Princess Rhaena, but spent most of her life on the other side of Westeros during her rider’s self-imposed exile. When Rhaena died, Dreamfyre remained riderless until she bonded with Helaena Targaryen (Evie Allen and Phia Saban), Aegon II’s sister and queen.
While Dreamfyre hasn’t done much in the show yet, she has had a lot of impact on the lore of Westeros. The egg that Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) stole to get his brother’s attention was laid by Dreamfyre, and there are theories that she laid the eggs that would eventually hatch Daenerys’ three dragons. Though Helaena didn’t ride her too often, she is still one of the largest dragons in Westeros, and could wreak untold destruction if she’s ever let out of the Dragonpit.

Moondancer
Rider: Lady Baela Targaryen
Baela (Bethany Antonia) riding Moondancer in House of the DragonImage via HBO
One of the younger dragons on the side of the Blacks, Moondancer, is bonded to the eldest of Daemon’s daughters by Laena Velaryon (Savannah Steyn and Nanna Blondell), Baela (Shani Smethurst and Bethany Antonia). Since she isn’t large enough to engage the Green dragons, Rhaenyra commands Baela to fly Moondancer on reconnaissance missions. They gave the Hand of the King, Ser Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel), a fright on his way to subdue the Crownlands, then later partook in the Battle of the Gullet.
Moondancer is another dragon who can’t do much due to her age, but the production crew manages to give her personality through her movements and design. Like her rider, Moondancer is brave despite her age and is eager to prove herself. Her design is also striking thanks to her tiger stripes and mohawk-like frills, allowing her to stand out.

Syrax
Rider: Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen
Syrax with Rhaenyra on her backImage via HBO
A gorgeous golden-green dragon, Syrax, was chosen as the mount of Princess Rhaenyra. Despite her size, Syrax is another dragon who has not seen battle, and rarely even goes out to hunt. However, she has accompanied Rhaenyra on numerous important missions, from stopping Daemon from stealing a dragon egg to asserting Rhaenyra’s position as Queen of Westeros.
Though an adult dragon, Syrax has little to no combat experience, as demonstrated by how brutally she is savaged by the wild dragon, Sheepstealer. Nevertheless, she and her rider maintain a good connection, to the point where Syrax can feel her labor pains and lays eggs of her own, giving the two a bond through motherhood. Her design is also quite beautiful, with a more rounded face than the other dragons, which makes her look fierce but also more matronly.

Rhaegal
Rider: Jon Snow
Jon Snow riding on Rhaegal.Image via HBO
The second largest of Daenerys’ dragons, Rhaegal, was named after her eldest brother, Prince Rhaegar (Wilf Scolding), who died fighting Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy) at the Battle of the Trident. Identified by his green and bronze scales, Rhaegal is very much the middle child of the family, though he’s closer to his younger brother Viserion than his elder, Drogon. In preparation for the battle against the Night King (Richard Brake and Vladimir Furdik), Daenerys allows Jon Snow (Kit Harington) to ride him.
Rhaegal is easily the most forgettable of the three dragons from Game of Thrones. Everything he does is in the company of a second or third dragon, which leaves him with few chances to do much. His actions in Season 8 sadly continue this trend: he is taken out of the Battle of Winterfell fairly quickly, then gets killed in the next episode because Daenerys infamously “kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet.”

Sheepstealer
Rider: Lady Rhaena Targaryen
Sheepstealer in the Vale in House of the Dragon.Image via HBO
Not all of the dragons in Westeros are fully under House Targaryen’s control. One, named Sheepstealer, is a wild dragon who has never known a rider, and so flies where he wishes across Westeros. When he left Dragonstone and traveled to the Vale of Arryn, he was eventually claimed by Baela’s twin, Rhaena (Eva Ossei-Gerning and Phoebe Campbell), but a wild dragon is not so easily broken in.
Sheepstealer’s time in the wild has turned him into a formidable opponent, as seen when it took three adult dragons to subdue him. He also has one of the most distinct designs, with gnarled scales and an underbite, which further sells him as a dragon who has had to fight and hunt every day of his life. Rhaena’s attempt to tame him further highlights the unpredictable nature of dragons, and how they are not horses, but dangerous beasts who have the potential to kill thousands with a breath.

Your answers point to the great house whose words, values, and way of surviving in Westeros match your own. Bend the knee — or don’t. That’s very much up to you.

Winterfell · The North
🐺 House Stark
Winter is Coming — and you have always known it. You prepare not out of fear but out of duty, because the people who depend on you deserve someone who takes the long view.
You lead with honour even when it costs you, because you understand that a reputation built on integrity is the only one worth having.
Your loyalty to family and people runs deep — not as sentiment but as a code that doesn’t bend when things get difficult.
The North endures because Starks endure — not by being the cleverest players in the game, but by being the kind of people others are willing to follow into the cold.
You are that kind of person. The pack survives. The lone wolf dies. You already know which one you are.
Casterly Rock · The Westerlands
🦁 House Lannister
You understand the game — its rules, its exceptions, and exactly when the rules become the exception. You play it without illusions and without apology.
You are sharper than most people realise, and you have learned to use that gap to your advantage.
A Lannister always pays their debts — and you always keep your word, because your word is an instrument of power, and instruments must be kept in working order.
You love your family with a ferocity that sometimes blinds you, and you know it, and you do it anyway.
The lion doesn’t concern itself with the opinion of sheep. Neither, in the end, do you.
Dragonstone · The Iron Throne
🐉 House Targaryen
You carry a sense of destiny that is difficult to explain and impossible to ignore — the feeling that you are not simply participating in the world but meant to reshape it.
You are capable of extraordinary things, and you know it, and that knowledge is both your greatest strength and your most dangerous quality.
Fire and blood are not just words to you — they are a philosophy about what change requires and what it costs.
The Targaryens at their best were transformative rulers who broke chains and defied the limits of what anyone thought possible.
At your best, so are you. The dragon has three heads. You are one of them.
Storm’s End · The Stormlands
🦌 House Baratheon
You are a force — direct, powerful, and difficult to ignore when you enter a room or a conflict. You do not negotiate with challenges. You meet them.
Ours is the fury — and yours is a kind of intensity that commands attention, respect, and occasionally fear from those who underestimate what’s behind it.
You value strength and straight dealing. You’d rather know where you stand in a fight than navigate a web of courtly whispers.
The Baratheons built their house on the back of one of the greatest military victories in Westerosi history — and then struggled with what came after.
The lesson of your house is that winning is not the end of the story. Governing is. You are learning that too.
Highgarden · The Reach
🌹 House Tyrell
You understand that power does not always announce itself — that sometimes it arrives with flowers, good wine, and a smile that doesn’t quite reach the eyes.
Growing strong is your house’s motto, and you live it: patiently, strategically, always investing in the relationships and resources that will matter most when it counts.
You are charming by choice and calculating by nature — a combination that makes you one of the most effective players in any room you enter.
The Tyrells fed King’s Landing and shaped its politics without ever sitting on the Iron Throne — and they were arguably more powerful for it.
You know that the person who controls the food controls the kingdom. And you always know where the food is.
Anne Hathaway’s latest red carpet appearance put her growing baby bump front and center, but it was one unexpected part of her maternity look that quickly became the focus of online debate.
The actress arrived at “The End Of Oak Street” premiere in Los Angeles looking cheerful and polished, yet her outfit divided fans almost immediately.
While some praised Hathaway’s radiant appearance, others questioned the styling choice that they felt overshadowed an otherwise striking maternity moment.
3River / MEGA
Anne Hathaway’s premiere appearance was anything but a traditional maternity ensemble.
The actress wore a sleeveless light blue top that was cropped across the front before extending behind her into a short train, creating a dramatic silhouette around her growing bump.
A vivid red lining beneath the pale blue fabric added another unexpected element to the outfit.
Instead of pairing the statement top with equally formal trousers or a skirt, Hathaway opted for low-waisted denim jeans.
She completed the look with closed-toed red pumps, dangling earrings and a statement bracelet.
Her brunette hair was packed into a sleek ponytail, keeping the attention on the outfit and her pregnancy silhouette.

Hathaway appeared cheerful as she posed for photographers at Warner Bros. Studios.
Hathaway’s Denim Choice Quickly Became The Fashion Talking Point
The jeans ultimately became the part of Anne Hathaway’s outfit that generated the most debate.
While the top was clearly intended to be the centerpiece, some viewers felt the casual denim worked against the dramatic design.
Per the Daily Mail, one critic called the overall look something that “looks ridiculous,” while another complained, “It’s awful. She’s too pretty for this to happen.”
Others were even more emphatic, with one person pleading, “Please let me UNSEE this,” while another simply concluded, “This one is so wrong sorry.”
The strongest criticism focused specifically on the difference between the elaborate top and the jeans. “Jeans? JEANS?! That dazzling top deserves a better companion,” one person wrote, while another bluntly stated, “The jeans make it worse.”
Anne Hathaway Still Drew Praise For Her Pregnancy Glow
For every viewer who disliked the styling, there were others who separated Hathaway from the outfit and made it clear they still admired her appearance.
Some social media users criticized the work of her stylist rather than Hathaway herself. One Instagram commenter wrote, “I love her. I do not understand why her stylist did this to her.”
Another called the styling “very tacky,” while a different commenter described it as “Unflattering styling for a beautiful pregnant woman.” Someone else simply wrote, “Love her – outfit just No.”
However, the criticism did not represent the entire online response. Other fans appeared far more interested in Hathaway’s overall appearance than in whether every element of her outfit worked together.

On X, one admirer wrote, “She looks radiant…,” while another declared, “Anne Hathaway at a world premiere is always a win, she looks stunning.”
Hathaway Explains Why Baby No. 3 Is Her ‘Buzzer-Beater’
Anne Hathaway has been increasingly open about the pregnancy that has added an unexpected new chapter to her family life.
While promoting “The Odyssey,” the 43-year-old revealed that she and husband Adam Shulman had hoped to expand their family but were still stunned when it actually happened.
During an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in July, Hathaway described the pregnancy as “amazing” before joking, “We were so shocked it went this way, so we’re calling this one our buzzer-beater.”
Meyers, who is also a father of three, then offered Hathaway some perspective on going from two children to three, joking that once one reached that point, there was “not much you can do except watch.”
Hathaway embraced the comparison, joking that she loved the “channel” her family was currently on and that the baby would feel like “a new cast member.”
Anne Hathaway Confirmed Third Pregnancy With Playful Baby Bump Reveal
Anne Hathaway made her third pregnancy official in June, through an Instagram video in which she stepped into view in a long, flowing white skirt set with her arms folded over her midsection.
The mom of two then lowered her arms, revealing her baby bump before smiling at the camera.
Hathaway paired the reveal with Barbara Lewis’ 1965 song “Baby I’m Yours” and captioned the post, “x Baby, I’m yours x.”
The announcement quickly drew widespread attention, reportedly surpassing 800,000 likes in just over 30 minutes as friends and fans filled the comments with congratulations.
As The Blast stated, the announcement came after she had been photographed on vacation in Saint-Tropez with her bump visible in several looks, but the Instagram post marked her own confirmation of the news.
Netflix has had a big year in 2026 with some exceptionally popular new releases like War Machine, the sci-fi thriller starring Alan Ritchson. War Machine earned over 135 million views, which was enough to put it on the all-time most-watched list for Netflix original movies. The streamer has also released some new seasons of some of its biggest TV shows, like The Night Agent, which has been positioned as its answer to other popular action shows like Reacher. Netflix has the biggest subscriber base in the world, which means that it has to put out shows to please fans of all genres, even cop dramas and legal thrillers. While Prime Video has Bosch in this category, Netflix has settled on The Lincoln Lawyer as its Bosch replacement in the last few years.
The Lincoln Lawyer and Bosch are two entirely different shows, but there is quite a bit of overlap in the writing between the two, largely due to the source material. Both shows are based on a series of novels written by Michael Connelly, who is also involved as a writer and producer on both shows. Netflix has put out a new season of The Lincoln Lawyer regularly since the show first aired back in 2022, but not long after the show was picked up for Season 5, Netflix confirmed that it would be the final season of the show. The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 has already wrapped filming as of this summer, which sets the stage for the show’s grand finale in 2027. Season 5 of the show will be based on Connelly’s novel, Resurrection Walk, which was first released in 2023.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned Your Perfect Partner Is…
Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.
Rambo
Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.
James Bond
Advertisement
Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.
Indiana Jones
Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.
John McClane
Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.
Ethan Hunt
Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

What Else Is Streaming on Netflix Right Now?
The most popular show on Netflix at the time of writing is the three-part documentary series, The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare, which tells the chilling story of the four college students who were brutally murdered back in 2022. Netflix’s Yellowstone replacement, Ransom Canyon, has also wrangled a spot in the top 10 in the weeks after its Season 2 premiere. As for movies, Kevin Hart’s new action comedy, 72 Hours, is charting in the top 10 before he returns with another Henry Cavill spy thriller. Spider-Man: Homecoming is also having a moment on Netflix while Spider-Man: Brand New Day dominates the box office.

Soaking up the sun on summer vacation is right where Rachel Bilson wants to be.
“I live here now,” the O.C. and Hart of Dixie alum, 44, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 9, alongside a photo of herself in a red bikini paired with denim cut-offs.
Capturing herself lazing against a railing aboard a sleek vessel, Bilson, who is mom to daughter Briar Rose, 11, with ex-fiancé Hayden Christensen, flashed a warm smile as idyllic weather blissfully bathed the frame.
Fans were quick to praise the star’s photo, taking to her post’s comments section. “Basically Summer Roberts on the summer breeze in summer,” wrote one fan, referencing Bilson’s former O.C. character, while another wrote, “An icon just doing iconic things!”

Last month, Bilson shared further insight into her summer activities through an Instagram carousel captioned, “Sum of summer for far.” Photos showed time spent at a beach, plucking strawberries and making strawberry muffins from them, sunsets overlooking still waters, multiple books, several selfies of her tousled beach hair and one shot of her daughter fishing off a boat.
Bilson has largely kept her child out of the spotlight, however recently opened up about her coparenting relationship with Christensen, 45. During the January 20 episode of Kristin Cavallari’s “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, Bilson revealed that she and her ex have found a harmonious way to navigate their family roles. “Ours is, like, a unique version of it,” she said of her and the Star Wars actor’s coparenting journey. “We do a lot of stuff together — a lot.”

Bilson continued at the time, “We have been able to keep it very copacetic and nice for [Briar]. We weren’t ever married so we … figured out our own way. [My advice for other coparents] is communication and sometimes you have to compromise a lot.”
Bachelor Nation doesn’t just deliver romance drama, it also gives Us sultry bikini moments that demand attention. Take Hannah Godwin, for example. The candid interview also touched on Bilson’s past romance with her former O.C. costar Adam Brody, 46. “[Brody and I] were a couple on the show and a couple in real life, [and fans are] like, ‘Oh, it’s Seth and Summer’ and they really relate it to that,” she explained. “They think that’s what you are [and] who you are.”
The episode also discussed her current dating life, of which remains mostly quiet. “I’ve never been on [a dating] app, but if I’m around someone who’s on it, I look with them ‘cause it’s fun,” she told Cavallari, 39. “I’ve never done the apps. I’m a hardcore, like, ‘bedtime before 9’ kind of person, so if I’m going to go out, it has to be something I really want to do.”
Brooklyn Beckham has divided the internet after sharing a video of himself boiling pasta in water taken straight from the sea.
“Today, I’m going to make some tomato pasta. Of course, we get some pasta water,” Brooklyn, 27, said in a TikTok video that was originally posted in July 2025 and reposted on Thursday, August 6. The eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham is then seen dunking a saucepan into the water off a luxury boat before hitting a kitchen to start prepping his dish.
“Pasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel please sir,” commented one fan on the repost, while another wrote, “Tune in next time when I make a glass of water (with ice).”
For others, Brooklyn’s unusual cooking method wasn’t all that unorthodox. “What’s with all the hate?” commented one fan, while another wrote, “I think he is sweet !! And he has a passion for cooking which is clear.” One social media user even argued that Brooklyn’s dish looked appetizing. “Basic HOWEVER looks tasty to be fair,” the fan wrote.
Brooklyn Beckham spoke out directly for the first time about the months-long feud that has fractured his famous family. Beckham, 26, addressed the drama within his family — which has left him estranged from his parents, David and Victoria, and his younger brothers, Romeo and Cruz — while competing in the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star […]
When the budding chef, who often posts videos of himself cooking via his social media channels, originally posted the clip, it similarly attracted mixed reviews. While some warned him against using sea water due to the risk of consuming bacteria, others wrote about how his creation looked good. “Nice one, Brooks,” one fan commented at the time.

Brooklyn’s at-sea report comes after he recently reconnected with his godfathers, Elton John and David Furnish, amid his ongoing feud with David, 51, and Victoria, 52. On August 1, Brooklyn and wife, Nicola Peltz, were snapped vacationing with John, 79, and his husband, 63, on a yacht near France’s Nice. The photos were published by People at the time.
In the snaps, the couples were seen sitting at a table together and leaving the vessel to take in the local sights.
Brooklyn Beckham has seemingly replied to Gordon Ramsay’s comments on his ongoing family feud. Page Six confirmed on Saturday, February 14, that Beckham, 26, unfollowed Ramsay, 59, on Instagram. Ramsay, however, still follows Beckham on the social media platform. Ramsay made headlines on Friday, February 13, when he shared his opinion on the Beckham family […]
Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s parents and siblings were vacationing elsewhere. Per photos published by The Sun, the retired footballer and fashion designer were joined by sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, as well as daughter Harper, 15, as they journeyed in their own luxury boat through Spain. The family was also joined by Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, as they explored the small Spanish island of Formentera.

Brooklyn and Nicola, 31, are at odds with his parents and siblings, with Brooklyn shining a light on their tension through a scathing Instagram statement shared in January. “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” Brooklyn wrote via several Instagram Stories at the time. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”
Brooklyn Beckham’s ongoing feud with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, has made headlines for years. Brooklyn married his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, in April 2022. Rumors soon began to circulate that Nicola and Brooklyn’s mother had a falling out over a wedding gown — an allegation Brooklyn tried to stymy. “They’re always going to […]

Legendary NBA coach Don Nelson, the second-winningest coach in league history, has died. He was 86.
“On Sunday morning our beloved husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather Don Nelson peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family,” the former NBA coach’s family said in a Sunday, August 9, statement, per ESPN. “Throughout his last week, friends and family encircled him with love, sharing the blessing of his friendship and revisiting treasured memories.”
A cause of death has not been publicly revealed at the time of publication.
Nelson won five NBA titles in his 11 seasons playing for the Boston Celtics before he went on to coach 31 seasons in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks.
Andreas Rentz/Bongarts/Getty Images Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević has died at the age of 46, one day after experiencing a medical emergency. “We are absolutely devastated by Dejan Milojević’s sudden passing,” the Golden State Warriors wrote in a statement shared via X on Wednesday, January 17. “This is a shocking and tragic blow […]

“The Celtics extend our deepest condolences to Nelson’s family, loved ones, and everyone he touches through his rich and impactful life in basketball beyond,” the Celtics organization said in a statement in the wake of Nelson’s death, per ESPN.

During his time as a NBA coach Nelson made 18 playoff appearances, finishing with an overall postseason record of 75-91. He retired as the winningest coach in NBA history in 2010 — a record eventually broken by San Antonio Spurs’ head coach Gregg Popovich in March 2022.
“Don Nelson was a true innovator whose influence on the game of basketball is still felt today,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerrsaid in a Sunday statement. “He consistently challenged conventional thinking, experimented with different lineups and styles of play and saw possibilities in the game that others often did not. So much of what is now commonplace in modern NBA can be traced back to the way Nellie approached the game.”
Part of the late coach’s unique approach to professional basketball was his ability to utilize players considered to be conventionally small for the league, creating a more fast-paced offense that allowed for strategic mismatches on the court. His style was later dubbed “Nellie Ball” — a philosophy that has since spanned not only the NBA but collegiate and high school basketball programs the world over.
“Nellie was ahead of his time and there was nobody else like him,” Hall of Famer Tim Hardaway said in a statement, per ESPN. “He had an incredible impact on my career and on the game of basketball. I’m going to miss him, and my thoughts and prayers with Joy, Donnie and the entire Nelson family.”

Several players also paid their respects to the legendary coach in the wake of his death, including stars Dirk Nowitzki and Stephen Curry.

“One of the big reasons I was drafted by the Warriors was because of Dan Nelson,” Curry said in a statement on Sunday, per ESPN. “The story is he never liked rookies, but from Day 1 he challenged me and gave me an opportunity to be my best self on the court. He taught me a lot during our one season together and I’ll never forget the night he became the winningest coach in NBA history in Minnesota. We were so happy for him.”

Curry continued, “He had an immeasurable impact on the sport and will go down as one of the greatest minds in the history of the game. He’s a true icon and will be missed by the countless number of people he touched, including myself, during a legendary career.”
Nelson is survived by his wife, Joy Wolfgram, his four children from his first marriage to Sharon Strombeck, two stepsons, his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anne Hathaway’s maternity wardrobe continues to dazzle.
Rocking a powder-blue high-neck top at the world premiere of her new film The End of Oak Street in California on Sunday, August 9, the pregnant star, 43, flashed her bump as it popped atop a pair of low-slung jeans.
Positively radiant, Hathaway paired the top, which featured a long train and was lined with a red interior, with a red pop lip and red pointed heels. She wore her long dark mane back in a high ponytail that showed off drop earrings to create subtle sparkle, too.
Hathaway’s newest maternity look, which continues on from a series of beautiful ensembles sported while promoting The Odyssey, comes after she subtly flashed her bump while attending a recording of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live in New York City less than one month ago.

Hathaway, who is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, announced her pregnancy via a sweet Instagram video on June 19. (Hathaway and Shulman, 45, are already parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.)
In the clip, which was captioned “x Baby I’m yours,” the Devil Wears Prada star walked into the camera frame before shifting her hands to reveal a growing bump.
She then flashed a warm smile before jolting away from the camera.

During a July 14 appearance on the Late Night With Seth Meyers show, Hathaway confessed that she was surprised to learn that she was pregnant with her third child. “We knew what we were doing but … we were so shocked it went this way,” she said at the time, adding that she and Shulman were “calling this one our buzzer-beater,” referring to a basketball shot that succeeds right before the final buzzer.

The talk show interview also touched on how pregnancy is impacting Hathaway’s emotional state, with the film star arguing that Meyers, 52, couldn’t joke about her and director Christopher Nolan being “on a break” between 2014’s Interstellar and this year’s The Odyssey. (Hathaway starred in the former film, as well as Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises in 2012, before the latter was released last month.)
Pregnant Anne Hathaway was showered with love during her Thursday, July 16, appearance on the Today show. Hathaway, 43, and The Odyssey costar Tom Holland appeared on Thursday’s broadcast to discuss the upcoming Christopher Nolan epic. “’Anne Hathaway having five movies premiering this year and then announcing that she is pregnant is the level of […]
“You can’t say we were on a break when I’m pregnant,” Hathaway said to Meyers during their chat. “I have, like, the way my body just was like, ‘No we weren’t, he was just … in Dunkirk.’” (The historical war film was created by Nolan, 56, in 2016, and released the following year.)
Hathaway recently spoke to Access Hollywood about expectations she had while trying to conceive in her 40s. “There’s always hope until there’s not, but when you get to a certain age, that hope looks like it’s 1 percent to 2 percent,” she told the outlet while interviewed at the Odyssey premiere in New York City. “We just decided to see where life took us with a very, very healthy, realistic expectation, which was very low.”
For years, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s breakup remained one of Hollywood’s most dissected romances, with the fallout turning their private pain into a global spectacle.
So when the former couple reunited at the 2020 SAG Awards, their warm exchange instantly sent fans into a frenzy. However, what happened afterward was far quieter and arguably more meaningful.
Away from cameras, Pitt reportedly began visiting Aniston’s “The Morning Show” set for private lunches, marking an unexpected new chapter in their relationship.

Rather than making their renewed friendship a public spectacle, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reportedly found a way to spend time together that was remarkably ordinary.
According to a Daily Mail insider, the “F1” actor began turning up at the set of “The Morning Show” during its second season, with the actor being taken directly to Aniston’s trailer.
The meetings were reportedly just between the former couple. Pitt would arrive, have lunch with Aniston, and leave when she needed to return to filming.
“During season 2 of The Morning Show, Brad was coming to set and having lunch with Jen in her trailer. He would arrive and get dropped directly at her trailer for a private lunch just the two of them and then he would leave once filming for Jen resumed,” the source said.

More notably, the visits reportedly became a weekly habit. According to the insider, “Brad would come to set at least once a week. Some crew knew but had no idea who or how many. It was a standing lunch date and he stuck to it.”
Pitt And Aniston’s Friendship Reportedly Started With A Simple Exchange
The reported lunch routine was said to have followed an unexpected development at the 2020 SAG Awards.
When Brad Pitt and Aniston encountered each other backstage, their interaction became one of the night’s biggest talking points.
The former couple smiled, hugged, and briefly held hands, creating an image that quickly spread across the internet.
However, according to an insider, there was something more practical happening behind the scenes: the pair discovered that they no longer had each other’s current phone numbers.
“They both had new numbers, so they swapped and said they’d be in touch. Brad was the first one to text,” the source noted.
By then, both stars had experienced major changes in their personal lives. Pitt had separated from Angelina Jolie, while Aniston’s marriage to Justin Theroux had ended in 2018.
Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston Had Long Since Moved Beyond Their Marriage
The reason their reported friendship attracted so much attention was partly because of how heavily their breakup had been covered.
Pitt and Aniston’s relationship began in the late 1990s after they were introduced by their managers. They eventually became one of Hollywood’s most recognizable couples, making their red-carpet debut at the 1999 Emmy Awards before marrying in Malibu in July 2000.
Their wedding was anything but understated, reportedly bringing together about 200 guests and featuring 50,000 flowers, four bands and a 13-minute fireworks display. Aniston also made a playful promise to Pitt during the ceremony, referring to him as her “favorite banana milkshake.”

Their connection extended into their careers. The 62-year-old actor appeared on “Friends,” and the couple became involved in Plan B, the production company they launched in 2002.
In 2004, Aniston was still openly discussing the possibility of starting a family, telling The Guardian, “It’s time. It’s time. You know, I think you can work with a baby, I think you can work pregnant, I think you can do all of it.”
However, that version of their future did not last. The couple announced their separation in January 2005, with Aniston filing for divorce two months later.
Aniston Recalled Brad Pitt’s ‘Friends’ Cameo Years After Their Marriage Ended
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s reported private friendship has given their famously complicated history a much quieter dimension, and Aniston’s memories of their time together on “Friends” offered another glimpse of that changed perspective.
While speaking with Lisa Kudrow for Variety’s“Actors on Actors” series in June, Aniston laughed when Kudrow brought up Pitt’s memorable Thanksgiving appearance, agreeing that it was “hilarious.”

The conversation then turned to the unusual experience of having major movie stars step onto the “Friends” set, with Aniston naming Pitt alongside Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts, Isabella Rossellini and Sean Penn.
She recalled that the famous guest stars were often nervous about fitting into the sitcom’s established rhythm. Kudrow explained that even experienced actors could be unsure of the show’s tone, prompting the pair to joke about how they had learned to tell nervous guest stars to simply speak louder.
Pitt appeared as Will Colbert in the Season 8 episode “The One with the Rumor,” playing Ross’ former high school friend who helped create the “I Hate Rachel” club.

Aniston may have reached a more relaxed place when it comes to Pitt, but her willingness to speak fondly about their shared “Friends” history reportedly created an unexpected problem in her relationship with Jim Curtis.
Weeks after Aniston reminisced with Kudrow about Pitt’s “hilarious” cameo on the sitcom, a source told Closer Online the seemingly harmless remarks became a “surprising source of tension” between the actress and her boyfriend.

According to the insider, Aniston saw her ability to discuss Pitt without bitterness as a sign of “growth” and maturity, while Curtis allegedly felt some relationships were better left in the past.
The report also claimed Curtis denied being jealous, but that did not stop Pitt’s name from becoming an awkward point of discussion.
Radio and TV personality Bobby Bones is ecstatic to have been reunited with his Mirrorball Trophy, the coveted prize he won for winning Season 27 of “Dancing With the Stars.” He made the unusual decision to give it back after feeling hurt by a comment from former host Tom Bergeron. The two have since hashed it out, and after expressing regret over giving up his trophy, he now has it back in his possession.
On August 6, Bobby Bones took to social media to share that he has his Mirrorball Trophy back, captioning the photo, “Look what just came in the mail.” The radio host won the coveted award in 2018 after besting the other contestants in “Dancing With the Stars” Season 27.
Bones’ win is arguably the most controversial in the competition show’s history, as many thought he wasn’t the best dancer. Years later, he also jokingly said he “cheated” to win.
In 2025, Bones mailed back the trophy after getting hurt over something former “DWTS” host Tom Bergeron said during an interview. In late May, he expressed regret about sending it back, and now he has it.
His fans are showing their support, with many pointing out that he earned the right to have the trophy. “I’m glad you got it back. You worked SO HARD for that, you deserve it!!!” one fan commented.

In November 2025, Bones revealed in a TikTok video that he mailed his Mirrorball Trophy back to ABC.
The move came after he saw Bergeron’s interview with Parade, in which he was asked about which elimination surprised him the most. Instead of answering the question, the former “DWTS” host revealed which winner came as a surprise to him: Bobby Bones. “Bobby Bones was the first time I kind of… It was like ouch.”
Bones said it wasn’t so much about the comment as who said it, adding that he liked and admired Bergeron. “I try not to get my feelings hurt, especially about stuff like this, but this was hurtful,” he said.
Bones defended himself, saying that he didn’t even want to be in the show but was asked to do it to promote another project, which he agreed to, and he gave it his full effort. However, after hearing comments, not only from Bergeron, he felt “DWTS” didn’t like him, and he returned the trophy.

In March, Bergeron joined Bones on “The BobbyCast” where they talked about the comments he made.
Bones shared that despite his comment, he still loved Bergeron. The latter then apologized and said he should have phrased what he said better. “The fact that it hurt your feelings and that you sent your trophy back, I felt terrible about that,” Bergeron said.
He explained further, saying that saying “ouch” was more about the “balance between judge and viewer voting,” adding that many other people were surprised as well. By the finale, Bones and his pro partner, Shana Burgess, had the lowest scores in the entire competition, and they never received scores higher than 8 throughout the season.
Since the judges’ scores and fan votes each accounted for 50 percent of the result, Bones ultimately won thanks to the public vote.
The Radio Personality Said He ‘Cheated’

In 2025, Bones admitted to “cheating” his way to victory during his season, but not in a way that broke the competition’s rules.
Instead, he put more time practicing than the four hours he said were allotted. As previously reported by The Blast, after his time with Burgess was over, Bones would rent a studio and continue practicing, as he knew he was “so far behind everybody else” in terms of dancing skills.

Despite describing it as “cheating,” Bones did not break any official “DWTS” rules. The show does not place restrictions on rehearsal time, and celebrities are free to practice independently.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is breaking down the costs associated with freezing her eggs after revealing she’s taking control of her reproductive future.
“Cutting straight to the chase, this was one of the things that was most stressful for me, as well, when I was considering doing this — is cost,” the congresswoman, 36, said in a video shared via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, August 9. “My insurance does not cover one penny of this. It is 100 percent out of pocket. It doesn’t go to my deductible — nothing. It covers nothing.”
On Saturday, August 8, the Democrat representing New York City’s 14th congressional district revealed she had made the personal decision to freeze her eggs amid ongoing speculation she may one day be a frontrunner for the Democratic nominee for president.
“I want to share with you all a decision that is very personal that I have made that has taken me time to consider, weigh and save up for,” she said in a video also shared via her Instagram Stories. “And it is of a sensitive matter and a personal matter and usually I keep my private life quite private, but I have made the decision to start freezing my eggs.”
It has been a difficult road to parenthood for many celebrity parents, including Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. After in vitro fertilization didn’t work on the first try, Teigen wondered if she had done something wrong. “You just look for anything to blame, especially yourself,” Teigen explained to New York Magazine’s The Cut in April […]
Ocasio-Cortez went on to break down her personal cost of the procedure, noting that it can vary depending on a variety of factors including the clinic type, where the patient lives, medication needed and insurance costs for those who can obtain coverage.

“So, there are two main sources of costs,” she explained in her Sunday upload. “So you don’t just, like, pay one lump sum to the doctor — you pay for the medicine and then you also pay your clinic and for the procedure. So there’s two costs of it. Some places are very expensive — I am going to a place in New York City that specifically designs options for women who don’t have insurance covering it.”

She added, “So the grand total personally, for me, all in, is going to be probably between $8,000 and $9,000.”
Earlier on Sunday, Ocasio-Cortez made an appearance on ABC’s This Week, telling host Jonathan Karl why she decided to go public — and document the experience for her millions of social media followers — about her decision to freeze her eggs.

“I think, um, it’s important for us to normalize these conversations, especially in this political environment,” she said. “This [Donald Trump] administration is denying reproductive care to women across the country, from abortion rights to the ability to carry out a healthy pregnancy. I think it’s important for us as leaders to have these conversations and share these processes, especially for working women across the country, and normalize them.”
Julianne Hough is opening up about an incredibly personal process: she’s freezing her eggs. “I just want to take a moment to say thank you to Dr. Carolyn Alexander and the incredible team at SCRC. Navigating fertility is never simple, especially with endometriosis and my own personal timeline and hopes around having children… but with […]

Currently, the United States is the only industrialized nation that does not mandate paid family leave, per the Pew Research Center. The country also has the worst maternal mortality rate of any developed nation — a rate that has only risen after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, which granted pregnant people the Constitutional right to abortion access. States that have banned or severely restricted access to abortion have higher and rising rates of maternal and infant death, according to various studies.
Intensive investigative reporting from various outlets has indicated that at least 12 pregnant women have died since Roe v Wade was overturned.
Aubrey Plaza gave birth to her first child with partner Chris Abbott, marking a major milestone for the actress. Known for her roles in “Parks and Recreation,” “The White Lotus,” and “Emily the Criminal,” Plaza has generally kept her personal life out of the spotlight. The arrival of her first child adds a new chapter to the actress’ life away from Hollywood.
Aubrey Plaza is stepping into her role as a mother. The 42-year-old actress was spotted in New York cradling her newborn after watching her partner, Chris Abbott, perform in Broadway’s production of “Death of a Salesman.”
Plaza, sporting jeans and a tank top, held her baby to her chest as she exited the venue. It’s the first time she has been seen out in public since giving birth. According to a source, the actress and Abbott welcomed the baby girl in late July, per a report from TMZ.
Since her pregnancy revelation in April, Plaza had been out and about, showing off her growing baby bump. Her last official public appearance while still pregnant was at the 79th Tony Awards held in New York in early June, where she posed at the red carpet alongside Abbott. On June 25, the actress also shared a mirror selfie on Instagram Stories, in which she showed off her belly.

The newborn is the first child for both Plaza and Abbott.
The Actress’ Pregnancy Was A ‘Beautiful Surprise’
As The Blast previously reported, news about Plaza’s pregnancy broke in April, and an insider revealed that the couple was delighted. “It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year; they feel very blessed,” the source said.
In January 2025, Plaza’s husband, Jeff Baena, died by suicide. It was later revealed that the former couple, who had been together since 2011 and married since 2020, had separated months before his death.
In July that year, several sources claimed Plaza was dating Abbott after they were spotted getting cozy. The actor then became Plaza’s constant companion at public events, though they never confirmed their romantic relationship.

Aubrey Plaza Revealed How She Found Out She Was Pregnant
Plaza first publicly spoke about her pregnancy on the “Smartless” podcast with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes.
“Well, there’s a baby inside of me,” she told the hosts, who sounded baffled by the revelation. “That’s a true story?” Arnett asked, to which Plaza replied, “Yeah, that’s true.” She then told the story about how she found out that she was expecting. The actress took her dog for an ultrasound at the vet, and she decided to get a scan, too. “I got an ultrasound on my stomach, and there is a baby in there,” Plaza said.
The actress, who leans heavily into her “witchy” persona, added that the scan showed her baby “already has a cloak and a little hat.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Plaza was asked if she was excited to be a mom. “I am. Yeah. I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know? It just seems so interesting, that whole thing,” she answered.
While she didn’t have concrete plans regarding where she and Abbot wanted to raise the baby, Plaza said, “East Coast for sure.”
Before having her baby, Plaza split her time between Los Angeles and New York. In September 2025, however, she placed her Los Feliz home in Los Angeles up for sale and has since permanently relocated to New York.

Aubrey Plaza And Chris Abbott Keep Their Relationship Low-Key
Plaza and Abbott first met while working on the 2020 psychological thriller “Black Bear.” They reunited professionally to star in the theater production “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea” in 2023.
The couple has largely kept their relationship away from the public eye since they began dating, rarely discussing their personal lives in interviews or sharing details on social media. The couple has maintained a low-key presence despite both having successful careers in entertainment.
So far, neither Plaza nor Abbott has spoken publicly about their daughter’s birth.
