UPDATE — 8/12/26, 12:55 p.m. ET: Chelsea Freeman, the wife of Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman, explained why she was admitted to the hospital with a “health scare” earlier this month. 

“Woke up in the middle of the night with really sharp, intense chest and back pain,” she shared via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 11. “Thought I was having a heart attack so I called 911. It was honestly really scary, especially because Freddie was on the road.”

Chelsea, 35, said her troponin levels were elevated, so she underwent “a heart CT, chest X-rays and an echo.” Troponin is a group of proteins found in heart and skeletal muscle cells that help control muscle contraction.

“I saw a cardiologist for a follow up today and he thinks it may have been pericarditis or myocarditis,” she said. 

Pericarditis is the swelling and irritation of the pericardium, the thin, two-layered sac surrounding the heart, while myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle usually caused by a viral infection.

“He’s having me do another echo next week to follow up,” Chelsea added. “Thankfully I’m feeling much better now 🤍.”

Chelsea Freeman, the wife of Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman, shared a photo after suddenly being admitted to the hospital. 

“Had a little health scare yesterday…” Chelsea, 35, wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, August 6. “But thankfully I’m home & doing okay. So grateful for the amazing EMTs, nurses, doctors & my family who took such good care of me.”

She added, “A good reminder that health really is everything & if something feels off, getting checked out is always the right choice. Taking it easy for a few days 🤍.”

While Chelsea did not go into detail about what she was dealing with, she shared a picture of her arm hooked up to an IV. 

Earlier this year, Chelsea updated her followers about another trip to the hospital. 

“Real life today,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on April 9. “Had a colonoscopy this morning. Was so nervous…but the actual procedure was really easy. The prep was my least favorite part. Worth it for the peace of mind. If you’ve been putting something off…this is your sign to get checked.”

Less than two weeks later, Chelsea and Freddie, 36, welcomed their fourth baby via surrogate. 

“London Rosemary Joy Freeman 💕,” the couple wrote via Instagram on April 21, with the first photo of the newborn. “April 19, 2026.”

The pair announced in February that they were expecting their fourth child. 

“Worth the wait. Baby No. 4 is on the way and our hearts are already so full,” the Freemans wrote in a joint Instagram post. “We are incredibly grateful for the amazing woman helping bring our baby into our lives, and we’re choosing to honor her privacy as we walk this chapter.”

Chelsea and Freddie, who got married in November 2014, also share three sons: Charlie, 9, Brandon, 5, and Maximus, 5. 

After experiencing fertility issues, Chelsea and Freddie decided to use a surrogate for their second child. However, just days after undergoing the embryo transfer, Chelsea found out she was pregnant. Thus, Brandon and Maximus were born within less than two months of each other.

Chelsea spoke exclusively with Us in March 2025 about his “miracle” recovery. 

“He’s been so resilient,” she said. “It’s been amazing to see. He’s still in [physical therapy] two times a week. It will be a full one-year recovery before he’s back to complete normal.”

Chelsea added, “It was very, very, very intense. It obviously taught us that health is everything. It was awful. He was fully paralyzed on a ventilator. Seeing him able to play outside, it’s really a miracle for how sick he was.”

Tom Segura is finally letting fans in on his feelings about his bombshell divorce.

The comedian opened up about coming to terms with the end of his marriage to Christina Pazsitzky after being together for about two decades. This comes after she addressed the elephant in the room, highlighting their dedication to their kids despite the split.

Tom Segura met his estranged wife in the late 90s while they were building careers in the same niche. The pair became friends before love came into the picture. They tied the knot in 2008 and welcomed two sons before their eventual split.

Segura finally addressed the surprising news of his split from Pazsitzky on a recent episode of their joint “Your Mom’s House” podcast. During the Wednesday episode, titled “Your Dad’s House,” the comedian described the breakup as a “horrible experience.”

He told listeners that the “awful” split happened “many months” ago before it became public knowledge, and the whole situation has been an emotional “rollercoaster” for him. “Your emotions change many times a day,” Segura explained, adding, “You don’t feel the same all the time. It’s really tough on you.”

The news of their split after 18 years of marriage broke the internet last month; however, insiders noted that the former couple has remained “completely amicable” and would continue to co-host their successful comedy podcast.

Viewers noticed that the pair had been releasing individually hosted podcast episodes rather than featuring each other, as they had previously. Segura claims that his absence is not due to the split but rather because he has been out of town recently.

His estranged wife backed up the claim on a July 15 episode of the show, telling viewers that “Tom Segura is in L.A.” and later explained that the episodes were pre-recorded and not released in real time.

Segura, while speaking on the recent episode of the podcast, noted that he has been “bothered” by comments bashing his absence and raising claims that he made her “address this alone.”

He explained that they have been “recording episodes separately for a long time,” and since “her episode was first, she addressed it first.”  

The Former Couple Still ‘Talk Every Day’

A relationship that lasted nearly two decades is not one to fizzle out so quickly. According to Segura, they still maintain a cordial relationship despite their breakup and are focusing on co-parenting their sons, Ellis and Julian.

When news of their split first made waves last month, a source told news outlets, “They had a special and productive relationship, creating one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry and, more importantly, two kids.”

Segura stressed that they continue to support each other’s endeavors while trying to give their sons the best life they can. “We talk every day. Just so people know, I support Christina in everything she does. She supports me,” the 47-year-old author shared with his podcast listeners.

The entertainer further clarified that he does not wish to keep talking about the terrible experience; hence, he will not do any interviews, podcast episodes, or talk to the press about his divorce from Pazsitzky.

The Bold and the Beautiful early spoilers for the week of August 17th bring suspense with Finn (Tanner Novlan) terrified as something unexpected and scary happens with his wife Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Plus, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is amped up and continues to spiral about what Katie Logan (Heather Tom) has done. Also, the week of August 17th through the 21st, we’ve got R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) making his big youth line pitch, and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) bringing Brooke home to LA in a really bad mood.

And as we always do on early edition day, we’re going to go over what’s happening the rest of this week on The Bold and the Beautiful and then we get into what is coming next week. So, let’s get right to it.

Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy & Finn Reunite

On Wednesday, August 12th’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we’re gonna pick right back up where we left off on Tuesday’s episode where Finn is happily reunited with Steffy in Monaco and they’re smooching in front of the church. But while they’re getting romantic, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is lurking nearby and her watching them kiss is kind of creepy. This is very special because they’re celebrating the anniversary of when Steffy learned Finn was alive after Sheila shot and nearly killed them both.

The Bold and the Beautiful also filmed at the beach. So, it looks like Steffy and Finn might head over to enjoy the warm sand along the Mediterranean Sea. Unfortunately, Sheila follows. She has the same driver taking her around and may have him tail them. And Steffy spots Sheila on the beach in Monte Carlo. Steffy thinks Sheila will fly under the radar since Sheila is hiding under a towel.

But Steffy yanks it off, recognizes her, and then starts raging at Finn’s mom. So, he may have to explain that yes, Sheila was on the plane, but he told her to go back to the States, but she didn’t. Finn heard Sheila bought a return ticket, but then she decided she had time to spare and sightseeing led Sheila to outright stalking. So Steffy’s going to be totally infuriated.

Also picking up from Tuesday, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is on one knee asking Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) to marry him. And she asked Deacon if he is serious. He is. But Taylor thinks getting married at their age is ridiculous and not necessary. And furthermore, she’s afraid getting married will ruin them.

B&B Spoilers: Danger in Monaco and Business Battles

Thursday, August 13th on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ridge is romancing Brooke. She’s very upset that Fanny Greyson (Elsa Esnoult) inked a fragrance deal with Katie. And Fanny told Brooke, “Look, I came to Forrester first and y’all turned me away.” So that’s the issue. Katie’s working with someone the Forresters know but aren’t working with.

Ridge tries to get Brooke into a better mood, but I’m sure she’s already planning to go attack Katie once they’re back in LA. I can see Brooke calling her names again over this fragrance deal. And of course, this will have Ridge and Brooke ready to embrace R.J.’s idea about a new youth line.

Also, Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) tells Carter how much she loves him. And then Daphne confides in Carter that she feels like it’s really unfair that she’s been cheated by this early menopause diagnosis. And Carter tells Daphne that she can still carry a child, so they may start talking about IVF. Steffy may offer Daphne one of her frozen eggs. That way, she can experience pregnancy and birth, even if it’s with a borrowed egg.

Bold and Beautiful: Carter Determined to Start a Family with Daphne

Friday, August 14th, on The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter is doing everything he can to help Daphne. So, she and Carter might start looking into in vitro options, egg donors, and just how the whole process would work to educate themselves. Steffy is extremely emotional on Friday. This may be during her confrontation with Sheila.

Or when Steffy finds herself in danger and Sheila saves her life. So, we may get an actual cliffhanger as the week ends. Something happens and Steffy supposedly in danger with Sheila riding to the rescue. And it looks like Steffy may take a fall and she’s dangling and about to plummet to her death. But then Sheila saves her and they hug.

It definitely looks like we’re getting life and death in Monaco. That’s what Brad Bell teased about what goes on there that is going to change everything forever. So, after their nasty showdown on the beach, Steffy may storm off angry and take a misstep and then Sheila follows and saves her. So, looks like Ridge and Brooke are flying back to LA without Steffy.

There’s extras that are playing flight attendants on Thursday and Friday, and that may be to get Ridge and Brooke on the private jet back to LA. So, with the business meetings done, Ridge is probably going to take Brooke home. That way, Steffy can enjoy her time in Monte Carlo with Finn. But, of course, they have no idea that Sheila is there with them.

B&B Spoilers: Willow Sheila’s Dream Finally Come True?

Then the week of August 17th through the 21st, I expect some carryover from the Friday cliffhanger as we see this life-changing event unfold in Monte Carlo. So, it looks like Sheila may finally get the place she wants in Finn and Steffy’s lives on probation probably. But if Sheila is welcomed into the family, Christmas is going to be awkward with Deacon and Taylor also there.

But if Sheila can see Finn and Hayes, I bet she would suck it up and say, “Okay.” And if Sheila does save Steffy, as we expect, we know Finn will be forever grateful. And honestly, Ridge might have to let up on Sheila. Yes, she shot Steffy before, but then Sheila saved Taylor’s life. And if she now saved Steffy’s life, reasonably, that’s a game changer.

I expect we’re going to see Brooke confront Katie over the fragrance deal. Brooke feels like Katie’s stealing every page out of the Forrester Creations playbook. And to some extent, she is. But also, most major clothing brands have accessories and fragrance and jewelry and lots more.

Bold and the Beautiful: R.J. and Electra Get Closer

Meliss Dylan (Sydney Bullock) and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) heat up and they have a night of passion soon. Dylan finally gets what she wants from Will. And I do wonder if Dylan’s going to overhear R.J. getting amped up about pitching Electra’s youth line and realizes she can leverage that information.

R.J. and Electra get closer professionally and personally. And with Brooke and Ridge back to LA first, they may be the first ones to hear R.J.’s big idea that the new youth line features Electra as the face and also the muse behind the dresses with R.J. and Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) being the designers working with her.

If R.J. pitches this line not just as a much-needed youth line, but also as a way to clap back at Katie and Hope for their betrayal, that’s one more reason for Ridge to jump all over this without hesitation. And as we predicted a while back, Forrester is facing financial trouble. Eric’s couture line was costly and it didn’t sell as well as they hoped.

Ridge just told Steffy and Brooke about the disappointing sales figures. So, they need something big and they need it fast or Forrester might be in serious trouble. Also, Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) debuts as Dylan’s mom in about two weeks. It’ll be right at the end of this month, and I’m really excited about it.

Beyond the Gates early spoilers for the week of August 17th are going to see Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) really worried that Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) is going to let Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) blow up her life all over again. Plus, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is furious about his sister Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) targeting Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). Worst yet, she’s falling for it.

We’re also expecting to see Haley Lawson (Marquita Goings) busted at last. But if you’ve seen photos of her getting arrested, I’ve got some things to tell you about these alleged spoiler photos. And as we always do on early edition day, we talk about what is happening the rest of this week and then we get into what is happening the week ahead.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Kat Watching Haley Like a Hawk

On Wednesday, August 12th’s episode of Beyond the Gates, we’ve got Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) continuing to focus on Haley. She’s got her cat’s undivided attention up at the hospital and she’s very suspicious not just about what happened to Bill and what Haley’s been up to, but also why Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is snuggled up to that little tiny toxic woman.

And when Haley notices Kat’s eyes on her, she might target Kat because Haley is definitely not going down without a fight. And of course, she’s afraid that one of the tests on Bill might show the toxin she’s been giving Bill, but Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) assumes the guy who gave it to him was right and it won’t show up on the test.

Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) heads over to Bill’s law office and to his house. And Naomi is looking for his prenup with Haley. And Naomi is also planning to pack up some things to bring back to Bill. But things get spicy at the law firm because Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) is confronting Naomi and he says, “Bill’s not even gone and you’re here marking your territory.” And Naomi is angry and she claps back at Tomas. What the hell did you just say to me?

Also, Dani goes to Vanessa for advice. So Dani may also have to answer some hard questions from Vanessa before she shares her thoughts with her. I think she’s going to ask her, “Seeing Bill going through this life and death ordeal, surgery, almost dying, did that change anything for you?”

BTG Spoilers: Andre Blindsided by Dani

Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) of course was stunned to find out Dani was in with Bill when he got up to the hospital. And Andre is looking for advice from Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson), and it may be about the Dani and Bill situation. Also, Ted and Kat are chatting up at the hospital, and Ted’s asking his daughter how the cousins are holding up. And Kat says they’re nervous about their dad. She says Chelsea’s unraveling. Naomi is lawyering to distract herself and says, “Don’t get me started on Aunt Dani.”

So, I wonder if she will tell Ted about the husband remark that Dani made. Also, Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson) tells something to Jessica that’s hard for her to hear. And we’re going to see Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) trying to help Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller) who’s going through this heartbreak after Jessica has dumped him. So, I think the dads may be secretly relieved because then Tyrell won’t be thinking he should fly to California every week.

Beyond the Gates: Hospital Crisis and Deceptions

Thursday, August 13th on Beyond the Gates. Joey and Vanessa are not on the same page about Heather. Not at all. Vanessa thinks they bonded, but Heather was playing her. Also, Smitty considers an interesting new opportunity, and you are not going to want to miss it when Andre visits Bill up at the hospital on Thursday. And things get tense.

I wonder if somebody’s told Bill by then that Dani called him her husband, and Andre might hear some upset things from Bill. I do wonder if there’s a chance he spills the sexy elevator secret to Andre. Ashley and Grayson Perez (Jordie Vilasuso) are worried about Naomi. The stress over Bill’s getting to her. And I do hope Naomi finds that prenup.

But Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) is planning a surprise for Naomi with Grayson and Ashley’s help to distract his wife. Caroline Lee (Ellie Wang) and Haley are playing each other. So, Caroline may have figured out some things. And of course, she literally saved Bill’s life. And I’m sure that Haley wishes Caroline had just let him die on the floor.

BTG Spoilers: Vanessa Shocked & Joey Blasts Heather

Friday, August 14th on Beyond the Gates, Vanessa meets Noah while he’s out with her daughter Deanna McBride (Angela Fairley). And I’m sure Vanessa will be intrigued to find out that he is Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) son since she’s so close to Nicole. Plus, Joey confronts Heather. He knows she’s in the DMV to start something and doesn’t want her using Vanessa as a pawn in her agenda. Of course, Heather won’t stop, and Joey’s not going to like that at all.

Chelsea has an update for Kat, and it may be about Haley. Plus, all eyes are on Dani after her emotional declaration about Bill still being her husband. So, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), Vernon, and Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) all face off with Dani, and they’re asking her some really tough questions the last day of the week because she’s on the brink of ruining her marriage to Andre, which is very healthy for the sake of Bill, who ruined her life.

One couple reaches a new understanding. Maybe Dani and Andre. Scary. It may be Bill and Haley. Also, Andre played down this stalker as just somebody who’s going to go away if he doesn’t respond. But by the end of this week, his stalker lures Andre to a rendezvous. And I am so curious if his stalker is psychotic Heather Armstrong.

Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Randy in Trouble

Then the week of August 17th through the 21st, we have Madison Montgomery (Kenjah McNeil) due back to the DMV soon. And I do wonder if she’s going to be the one to crack the case and figure out that Bill was poisoned. So Randy, of course, is worried that he might be dragged down if Haley’s busted. And Joey’s got a close eye on this.

He already suspected Randy and Haley were up to no good. And with Vernon calling Joey about Randy, that raised another red flag. So, let’s talk now about these photos you might have seen of Haley being arrested by a couple of cops. I’ve seen them on Facebook. I’ve seen them on some sketchy YouTube channels that just do a lot of clickbait fanfiction stuff. So, I’m going to show you the pictures, but as I have put right on there, they’re fake. It’s AI.

These are not legit spoiler pics. Look at this. In one photo, it’s female cops. In the other, it’s two guy cops. You can tell it’s AI because there’s Caroline holding up a test tube. She is a paralegal, not a doctor. But the people doing these AI things were so sloppy. If you’ve seen these and are waiting for this scene, keep on waiting. These are deep fakes made by scammers looking for clicks.

BTG Spoilers: The Duprees Eager for Hayley’s Downfall

And now, of course, the Duprees would love to see Haley arrested. Dani in particular. So would the fans. Heck, I want to see her arrested, but these pics aren’t legit. I am going to keep fingers crossed that Haley faces real consequences soon. We may see Cat figure it out. Maybe Madison gets a clue. Either way, it’s long overdue time for Haley to go down.

Dani faces ongoing questions from her family. She really needs to come clean to Andre about the elevator incident and all of it, including why Dani so freaked out over Bill right now. She was kissing his hand when Haley burst into Bill’s room. This is so messy. So so soapy. I am loving it.

None of the Duprees want Dani back with Bill, not even their daughters, because he’s treated Dani like garbage, even years before horrible Haley came on the scene. Bill’s zipper can’t stay up, and he’ll probably be back to it even if Dani reunites with him. He may need one of those Tony Stark chest batteries for that pacemaker, as much as Bill likes to fool around.

When it comes to the finale — and the aftermath at the reunion — Jowsey teased that he had to “make the hardest decision” about his life.

“During the final nights, I couldn’t sleep. I didn’t want to hurt anyone or break anyone’s heart. I was spiraling,” he confessed to Us. “I was like, ‘This is meant to be the coolest thing ever, but it’s at the expense of someone else.’”

Michelle’s podcast, “IMO,” has featured a slew of celebrity guests, from Angel Reese to Keke Palmer to Stallion, who recently announced her upcoming album with a fiery social media post. While speaking with Michelle on her show, Stallion said that she was looking forward to bringing her alter ego, Tina Snow, back to the forefront.

“I think giving her a proper rollout, a proper title, a reintroduction to Hotties that may not have been with me since 2017, 2018, I think that this is gonna be a new experience for them,” she told the “Becoming” author. “Tina is grown now, babe. She has been through lots of life since y’all heard from her last.”

While Stallion’s latest album doesn’t have a release date just yet, it’s coming two years after she released “ACT II: Megan,” in the summer of 2024.

“Act III is going to be one of my favorite projects I ever put out because I definitely took my time with this one,” the rapper told Michelle before revealing she asked to have peace and quiet for an extended period of time to complete her project.

“For Act III, I went home, and I was like, ‘Nobody bother me. I gotta finish my album,’” she said. “So, this has been the most organized and the most calm I’ve been making music in a while.”

Stallion hasn’t given the fans a peek of what’s to come, but it’s safe to assume she may reference her messy split from NBA champion Klay Thompson. She revealed they went their separate ways with a shocking Instagram post, claiming that the former Golden State Warriors star cheated on her.

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’” she posted, per The Blast. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous????’”

Elsewhere during her interview with Michelle, Stallion opened up about how challenging things have been for her while living her life in the public eye.

“Being me is, it’s a rollercoaster,” she said. “Like some days I feel like, ‘yes, hell yeah. We on top.’ But then some days, I feel like, ‘oh my gosh, I need to go get under my bed.’ Like I don’t want to see anybody. I don’t want anybody to see me. I’m so tired. I’m tired of people talking about me.”

Despite that, Stallion said that she often has moments where she realizes she’s blessed beyond measure. “So even though I have like a lot of good days, I, I mean, I can’t have the good without the bad. But what I’ve been learning lately is how to express more gratitude,” she said, adding that she’s learned to pray and express gratitude rather than praying to request more.

Stallion also said that while she’s been growing and changing over the last few years, she’s learned more about herself than she could’ve imagined.

“I feel like strong shows up in so many different ways,” she said. “It’s not about being tough or just stoic. It’s about what you look like. I think it’s about being. Like, brave enough to keep going. Brave enough to be like, I don’t want to do this. Just brave enough to feel how you feel and have your boundaries. Saying yes to everything doesn’t make you strong.”

Recently, Papoose’s eldest daughter Dejanae Mackie, hopped on a livestream while kicking it in what appeared to be a hotel room with Claressa Shields and others. As Dejanae read through the comments from her stream, she squinted at the screen and appeared to catch a little shade from someone who seemingly called her a “flip-flopper.” Dejanae didn’t name-drop anyone. She simply read the comment and said, “These people call me […] What y’all call me a flip-flopper?” 

Claressa Shields also jumped in to defend Dejanae. In a video LiveBitez shared, Shields told her that the internet stays mad but she wasn’t sweating the negativity. She also made it clear to those watching that she considers Dejane to be her stepdaughter. “They be mad about nothing.” Shields added, “This my stepdaughter what the f**k you want me to do about it? He just showed up and he had kids. His kids is my step kids.”

After a roller-coaster third season, which managed to win back many fans after a divisive second, House of the Dragon‘s latest installment came to an explosive end this past Sunday with “The Treasons at Tumbleton,” which debuted on August 9. Written by Ryan Condal and Ti Mikkel, and directed by Andrij Parekh, the episode delivered plenty of jaw-dropping twists, satisfying ends, and set-up for the fourth and final season: Alys Rivers’ (Gayle Rankin) backstory got a big update, Ormund Hightower (James Norton) faced a gruesome end, and Helaena Targaryen (Phia Saban) tragically jumped to her death.

Called “stunning” in Aidan Kelley‘s review for Collider, the finale felt like the perfect culmination for a mammoth season of fantasy television that had many millions of viewers gripped, with the opener, “Salt and Sea, Fire and Blood,” even earning 21.5 million global viewers within its first three days. On IMDb, the Season 3 finale scored a massive 9.1/10 rating from users, making it one of the highest-rated episodes in the show’s three-season history. But being compelled to rate on IMDb isn’t the only way the finale has impacted viewers.

At the time of writing, the series that started it all, Game of Thrones, has staged a major streaming comeback, officially ranking as the most-streamed series on the Apple TV store in the world. The highest heights in this fantasy franchise, based on the works of George R.R. Martin, came in Game of Thrones, including Season 3, Episode 9, “The Rains of Castamere,” and Season 6, Episode 10, “The Winds of Winter,” just two examples. House of the Dragon Season 4 is predicted to air sometime in 2028.

So one of the best shows of all time is topping the Apple TV Store charts. But what else is popular? Other shows proving solid competition for Game of Thrones include Bruno Heller‘s 2014 crime drama Gotham, Taylor Sheridan‘s most recent returning series, Lioness, and even House of the Dragon​​​​​​. On the movie side of the charts, it’s no surprise that Spider-Man: No Way Home is the most-streamed title, considering that Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to break records at the box office.

Days of Our Lives early spoilers for the week starting August 17th shock with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) being assaulted by somebody really surprising, not one of the usual suspects. Plus, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) is freaking out and acting out as time runs out for Titan thanks to his and Xander’s big blunders.

Also, the week of August 17th through the 21st, there is Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) in labor. We’ve got Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) dying and being moved up to the hospital and lots more drama with Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte). And as we always do on Early Edition Day, we’re going to start with what is coming the rest of this week and then we’ll head into all the drama ahead next week.

Days of our Lives: Philip Down in the Dumps

With that in mind, on Wednesday, August 12th, on Days of Our Lives, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is feeling horrible about Titan going down the tubes in 30 days since EJ called in the loan after Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) bailed out their company. But then blabbed to EJ that she did it. So, Xander decides to try something drastic. And I wonder if he’s going to turn to some illegal enterprise or some shady criminal type and he might take out another bad loan to replace EJ’s bad loan.

And speaking of desperate, Philip is in the same spot and he pitches a risky idea to Gabi. Philip was looking at sports betting sites. But he’s more likely to lose than win and certainly isn’t going to raise two million like they need. We’re also going to have more scenes this week with Xander, Philip, and Gabi putting their heads together trying to figure out how to save Titan from EJ.

DOOL Spoilers: Brady’s Difficult Talk with Rachel

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has a really serious and sad talk with his daughter Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote). And it’s about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). And of course, Rachel’s going to be crying in Brady’s arms. She is very worried that her mom Kristen will never come back. And Brady doesn’t like that Kristen left and just made cryptic statements about EJ and then bailed.

However, I think we all know that Brady’s life is going to be a lot easier without Kristen in it, and she won’t be being a bad influence on Rachel. So, silver lining. Arianna Hernandez (Vico Escorcia) and Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) plan a surprise for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard). Also, Aaron and Tate are flexing and doing some martial arts moves at Tate’s gym.

Develin St. John, the water guru played by John Oliver, continues tormenting EJ on Wednesday. And of course, he’s really sick with the flu. Looks like things may get physical. And Develin punches EJ. So, we could see Develin furious that EJ’s company tainted the Smith Island water supply. It’s kind of a really weird cameo if I’m being honest.

Days of Our Lives: Crisis in the Basement and Custody Battles

Thursday, August 13th on Days of Our Lives, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) needs his father-in-law Steve’s help. And of course, we’ve got Alex frustrated with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) for meddling with Joy and the custody thing. But he may also tell Steve that Stephanie’s insisting on moving out so he can have Kelsey at their place while Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) recovering from spinal stenosis that may require surgery.

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) are really worried about missing Lexie. And now Theo has filled his dad Abe in on what he learned about Lexie. And of course, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) got critical info from Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) about where Lexie is. So, feels like somebody’s going to drop a hint to Theo about where to find his mother. Maybe Marlena. Because Paulina and Marlena are leaning on each other this week.

Also, Chanel thinks she might be in labor by the end of the week when she’s supposed to be induced 3 weeks from now. And in the summer promo, we know it looks bad. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) is checking Chanel out at the hospital. Johnny says that Chanel is bleeding and Kayla tells Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) they got to go and Chanel is really scared.

Days Spoilers: Dimitri’s Wild Demands

Plus, Dimitri won’t stop in his quest and we’ll see if he accepts Leo’s deal to let Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) go if he stays behind. Then again, we may see Dimitri making a more serious demand that stuns Leo.

You know, something like Dimitri wants Leo to marry him before he’ll let Gwen go with Rafe, and Gwen is considering a tempting offer from Rafe. Now, he told Dimitri he wants to put Gwen and EJ both in prison for their crimes. But Rafe may settle for Gwen testifying against EJ if Rafe gives her immunity. Because come on, EJ’s the bigger fish, as Leo said.

Days of our Lives Spoilers:

Friday, August 14th on Days of Our Lives. Lonnie’s there to comfort Abe at the Bistro on his birthday. That same day, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has a crisis of conscience. So, I wonder if he’ll tell Theo that he needs to go to the DiMera mansion and down in the tunnels and he’ll find Lexie there. Theo and Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) do find something devastating on Friday.

And at the mansion this week, Theo is threatening Rita Leskey (Maggie Carney) and tells her, “If you don’t get out of the way, I will make you get out of the way.” She relents but probably goes to warn EJ that Theo and Chad are going down there. They head into the tunnels and then Theo with Chad hot on his heels heads right into Lexie’s room calling out for his mom.

And from there Theo is going to call Abe and tell him what’s going on because he joins Theo at Lexie’s deathbed in the DiMera basement. And this is when Theo and Abe are going to get Lexie out of there into the hospital so she doesn’t die down in those DiMera tunnels where she first got infected with the thing that killed her.

Also, Cat gets worrisome news and she may learn more about what’s going on with Rafe and Alamania. Rita and EJ have to act fast. Develin St. John has one last episode on Friday before John Oliver’s cameo on Days of Our Lives is done. And of course, Develin is really ticked about the chorus seal tainting the water on Smith Island.

DOOL Spoilers: Chad Rages at Kat

Then the week of August 17th through the 21st, we’re going to see EJ and Rita dealing with the aftermath of Develin St. John’s visit. And once EJ’s flu is done, that’s the least of his worries. He’s got more trouble coming once Rafe’s back from Alamania with Gwen. And Cat soon faces Chad’s fury over all her secrets and lies. And honestly, he may never talk to Cat again after all of this.

We’ll find out if Leo is going to be stuck with Dimitri in Alamania. We know that Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) was planning to fly there to save Leo from wicked Dimitri. Also, Javi soon realizes he’s still in love with Leo and doesn’t want Gus (Michael Ocampo), which is sure to infuriate Dimitri.

Chanel gives birth. But it’s going to be high risk. And Johnny’s going to be terrified, of course, after the breast cancer and the chemo that Chanel may not survive this. But hopefully she does and little Quattro are both healthy. Well, it’s time soon for Abe and Theo to plan Lexie’s memorial. But first, she’ll be in Salem University Hospital with Abe and Theo at her bedside.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Abe Flips Out on EJ

EJ has recovered enough to come to the hospital to see Lexie. But Abe doesn’t want EJ there and rages at him to get out. Theo’s devastated over losing his mom, Lexie, soon and may turn to Stephanie again for some chat and some comfort. And with her moving out of Alex’s place, this Theo and Stephanie vibe feels like the potential for trouble.

Paulina will be there for Abe and his grief. But with Lexie on her deathbed, Abe may not be able to see beyond his devastation. And I think it’ll be really interesting to see how long it takes Paulina and Abe to reunite after Lexie transitions and he loses her again.

Xander and Philip’s devastation and stress amps up. Now, Gwen may have enough money to save Titan, and she is back in Salem soon, so that’s an option. Haley and Tate talk about the future, and of course, in the next couple of months, they are leaving Salem, and so are Johnny and Chanel because all four actors were fired after Christmas break last year.

Young and the Restless early weekly spoilers for the week starting August 17th excite with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) riding to the rescue as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) circles the drain and does something horrible.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Tells Jack about Billy

On Wednesday, August 12th on Young and the Restless, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) promises Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) that things are going to be good from now on and that she’ll never lose him. And Devon is really energized by his new plan to start this liberal arts college. Meanwhile, Abby is excited to see Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

They come into Society and she insists she treat them. She’s asking how it’s going. Jack says his recovery is going well. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) also chats them up and reveals that he hired Billy. Turns out Diane knew, but she didn’t tell Jack. And he’s upset that this was kept from him.

But then Cane says Billy is fixated on a wild goose chase at Chancellor and warns Jack that if Billy doesn’t stop, Cane may have to fire Billy right after he started. So, Diane thinks Billy’s fixated again and it’s like a drug. And Jack tells Diane that Nick’s out of rehab but missing. And Diane asked if he heard that from Nikki.

Jack says yes, because she asked him to be Nick’s sponsor. Now, Diane’s not happy that Jack’s so close to Nikki again. But Jack insists she and Victor are reunited. They’re off traveling and Diane’s his best friend. So, she thinks Nikki’s crazy to take Victor back. And they are hoping the best for Nick.

Y&R Spoilers: Lily Supports the Men in Her Life

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) tells Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) he’s looking at a new procedure that might restore his hand. That way he can be a surgeon again. Nate worries about ditching her at Winters with Devon also leaving, but Lily says, “No, you go do that or I’ll fire you.”

And she says she can run Winters and Cane can keep running Chancellor for her. Devon comes to see Nate over at his place and he fills Devon in on the chance that he may get to be a surgeon again. And Devon has lots of regrets because he’s the reason Nate ended his medical career. He ended it for him, basically. Devon and Nate encourage each other. They hug it out. It’s all bygones.

And then Nate says that Lily’s fine with it, so he’s going for it. Meanwhile, Lily fills in Cane on Devon leaving Winters and Nate trying to go back to being a surgeon. Cane wants to know if she wants Chancellor back and Lily’s impressed he offered, but she wants to run Winters herself and leave Chancellor in Cane’s capable hands.

Young and Restless: Addiction, Obsession, and Family Crisis

Nick has sex with Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) in his ratty motel room while they are both high. And Nick’s ready to walk out. He writes Marie a note, a note about, “I hope you get the help you need.” Something like that. But then he notices she’s not moving. She is overdosed. So Nick does CPR and she wakes up. Marie begs Nick not to do it, but he calls 911, does it anyway. Paramedics show up and they take Marie away. And then Nick’s lying in bed alone crying. He just feels so gross. And he finally calls Sharon and tells her that he’s doing really badly. And then Nick asked Sharon to please come get him.

Thursday, August 13th on Young and the Restless. Kyle and Jack hear a secret from Billy. He may be telling them about Jill’s secret that he’s chasing and what he’s digging into at Chancellor. Then again, Billy might blab about Newman Media and Adam going behind Victor’s back. And we may see Jack asking Billy questions based on what Cane had told him.

Nikki and Victor are traveling in Italy, but it looks like they abruptly end their trip. And Nikki and Victor are home early this week and it’s about their son because the two of them are discussing how worried they are about Nick. The good news is that Sharon’s on the way to get him and it looks like Nick may be back in rehab by the end of the week. That sex and drug bender might have scared him straight. I’m curious to see if he tells Sharon that he had sex with some random druggy woman.

Y&R Spoilers: Billy’s Unraveling

Then on Friday, August 14th, on Young and the Restless, Billy makes things difficult for Lily and Cane. And of course, Billy’s coming between them. And I’m guessing it’s about his fixation on this Jill secret and digging into Chancellor’s archives. Cane might be seeing that Lily was right. And he never should have hired Billy. Remember, Lily didn’t even want Cane to make him the offer. Now, there’s already issues with Billy, and that’s why Cane told Jack he might have to fire him. And that’s right after he started at Chancellor. And if Cane lets Billy go abruptly, that’ll probably send him off the deep end.

This week, we’ve got Sharon over at the new ranch. She’s talking to Nikki and Victoria. So, I suspect Sharon is telling them that Nick reached out to her and asked for help, and she took him back to rehab because he relapsed and hit rock bottom at last. Nikki is hiding her true feelings, trying to keep up a brave front. Of course, she is worried sick about Nick. And terribly, Nikki still blames herself for Nick’s addiction simply because Nikki’s got the addiction gene, and she feels like she passed all these problems on to Nick and that she set a bad example, but it’s not Nikki’s fault that Nick’s an addict.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Adam & Chelsea Talk Things Out

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) rehash the past. And I think this is all back to them struggling with all the Newman drama. And of course, both Adam and Chelsea are really worried about Nick and also about where they go from here because both of them are really annoyed with Victor and Chelsea and Adam are tired of being under his thumb.

If Victor comes back from Italy and goes in hot against Adam, this might be a breaking point for him and Chelsea. Also, I’m curious to see if Victor returns still intent on the vendetta and going after Billy, which means going after Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). So, maybe there’s a miracle. Maybe Nick hitting rock bottom will make Victor finally stop what he’s doing and change his ways. But I won’t hold my breath.

Then the week of August 17th through the 21st on The Young and the Restless, we may be seeing more of Marie because Jade Harlow was cast in a recurring role and she’s had like two maybe three episodes at this point. So, I do suspect we might see her at rehab with Nick. And if so, Sharon may be stunned to see this woman in Nick’s life. And of course, Marie’s married, but her marriage is fractured and she just cheated with Nick. So, we’ll see.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Danny Romances Christine

Danny Romalotti (Michael Damson) surprises Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) with a new love song very soon, and we’re going to be seeing more of them at the Shadow Room. Billy is playing with fire and he’s making terrible decisions. And at this point, he’s so close to losing Sally, which means he won’t be there for their baby. And I don’t know what’s going to stop Billy. He’s as bad as Victor in his own way.

Lily and Cain keep moving forward with their renewed relationship. And hopefully Billy doesn’t make things worse for them. Chelsea and Adam are stressing over both Sally and Nick. They’re worried about them both. And Victor is making things hard on Chelsea and Adam. So, we may see them making a big decision soon to just break away from all the drama that comes with being around Victor. And we may see Victoria and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sparking.

And we may get a kiss the week of August 17th through the 21st after the almost kiss we got with Victoria and Kyle. This week, Matt and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) keep getting deeper involved. Everybody hates it, and she’s going to be parading Matt around at this Shadow Room soon, and I expect Christine and Danny to be completely horrified. Also, expect more with Mariah soon.
