While it’s widely understood that Alfred Hitchcock hit his creative stride in the 1950s — this was when he made classics such as Vertigo, Rear Window, and North by Northwest — he had cultivated a robust career decades earlier. This was before his move to Hollywood, when he was still making British movies. Hitchcock’s career began in the silent era, and not many of his early films have survived. However, one of his classic British movies from the 1930s is now streaming for free on a brand-new platform. It joins The Lady Vanishes, another classic from that era, which has inspired everything from Jodie Foster’s Flightplan to the Netflix movie Fractured.
The classic was released in 1935 and is based on a novel of the same name by John Buchan. It set the template for several future Hitchcockian thrillers that revolved around a case of mistaken identity. The movie follows a man who is accused of murder and then becomes entangled in an espionage plot. A movie that was released as recently as this year shares virtually the same premise. We’re talking, of course, about Mutiny, the action movie starring Jason Statham. Like the Hitchcock classic, Mutiny follows Statham’s character as he goes on a quest to clear his name and uncover a human trafficking ring.

The Name Has Been Determined Your Bond Is…
Six actors. One role. Your answers point to the Bond who shares your presence, your method, and your particular way of carrying the weight of being the most dangerous person in the room.
Dr. No — You Only Live Twice · 1962–1967
Sean Connery
Advertisement
You are the original — and you carry that fact without needing to announce it. There is an authority in the way you occupy a room that others spend careers trying to replicate.
You don’t explain yourself, justify yourself, or soften yourself for anyone’s comfort. The confidence is structural, not performed.
Connery’s Bond established everything — the tone, the danger, the cool — because Connery himself had the innate presence to make something that had never existed feel inevitable.
You share that quality: the sense that you were always going to end up exactly here, doing exactly this.
The name is Bond. In your case, it always was.
Live and Let Die — A View to a Kill · 1973–1985
Roger Moore
Advertisement
You understand something that more serious people miss: that wit is its own form of intelligence, and that making people laugh is not a retreat from danger but a way of mastering it.
Moore’s Bond is underrated precisely because the effortlessness looks easy — and effortlessness is the hardest thing to manufacture.
You have the same quality: a lightness that disarms people before they realise how sharp you actually are.
The raised eyebrow, the perfectly timed quip, the refusal to be rattled — these are not affectations. They are a philosophy about how to move through a world that would like to take itself too seriously.
You have never let it.
The Living Daylights · Licence to Kill · 1987–1989
Timothy Dalton
Advertisement
You took the role seriously when everyone wanted you to coast — and that refusal to take the easy version of anything is the most defining thing about you.
Dalton’s Bond has genuine moral weight: he feels the cost of what he does, he has lines he won’t cross, and he is not interested in the version of himself that pretends otherwise.
You share that intensity. You push harder than the situation technically requires, because you have a standard and you hold yourself to it.
He was ahead of his time — the Bond the franchise wasn’t quite ready for yet, arriving exactly when he was meant to.
You know what that feels like.
GoldenEye — Die Another Day · 1995–2002
Pierce Brosnan
Advertisement
You are the complete package — and you know it, which is part of what makes you so effective and occasionally so infuriating to the people around you.
Brosnan arrived at the role looking exactly like Bond was supposed to look, and he delivered on that expectation with a professionalism that made it seem effortless.
You have the same quality: a smooth competence, a charm that operates like a precision instrument, and the ability to make even difficult things look like they weren’t.
His era was the most commercially successful in the franchise’s history. There is a reason for that.
The reason is that some people simply fit their moment perfectly. You are one of those people.
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service · 1969
George Lazenby
Advertisement
You stepped into something enormous with less preparation than anyone around you thought was sufficient — and you delivered something genuine anyway, which is the more impressive achievement.
Lazenby’s single outing is, by many measures, one of the finest Bond films ever made — and he is not a small part of why.
You share his quality of raw authenticity: less polished than the alternatives, more honest for it, capable of something real that technique alone can’t produce.
He was underestimated, and then he wasn’t, and then history caught up with him.
You are the kind of person history catches up with. Give it time.
Casino Royale — No Time to Die · 2006–2021
Daniel Craig
Advertisement
You stripped everything back and found what was underneath — and what was underneath was harder, more honest, and more human than anyone expected.
Craig’s Bond is the franchise’s most psychologically complete: a man doing a brutal job, carrying its costs imperfectly, capable of love and loss in ways that can’t be dismissed.
You share that depth. You don’t hide behind the role or the charm or the suit — you let the work show what it actually costs.
He was controversial from the moment he was announced and definitive by the time he was finished. The sceptics became the believers.
That arc — of being underestimated and then undeniable — is one you know intimately.

The 1935 Classics Has Illustrious Fans
The classic is The 39 Steps, starring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll. The film now holds a “Certified Fresh” 96% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “Packed with twists and turns, this essential early Alfred Hitchcock feature hints at the dazzling heights he’d reach later in his career.” Years later, the legendary screenwriter of Chinatown, Robert Towne, said, “It’s not much of an exaggeration to say that all contemporary escapist entertainment begins with The 39 Steps.” The great Orson Welles was a huge fan as well, hailing The 39 Steps as a “masterpiece.” You can watch the movie for free on JustWatch TV, which is currently in beta phase, but slated to be launched in earnest this October. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Lil Wayne Talks Wedding Plans And Calls Madison His Fiancée
As for what we know about the couple, Lil Wayne recently gave fans a little insight into his wedding plans. On the October 7, episode of ‘The Joint Venture Show,’ host Craig Carton asked the rapper who he would want to perform at his wedding, and Wayne named R&B legend Anita Baker as his first choice. He also mentioned Keith Sweat and Babyface as possible alternatives, while leaving the final song selection up to his bride-to-be.
Wayne has also been getting excited about wedding festivities after congratulating rapper B.G. on his engagement to Brooke Jones in a video message, joking that he would be the best man and needed to know what color suit to wear. During the clip, Wayne panned the camera to Madi and proudly told viewers, “This is my fiancée,” before asking the couple to let him know what color they would be wearing.
Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, are finding solace in one another in the wake of their son Presley Gerber’s unexpected death at 27.
Crawford, 60, and Rande, 67, were spotted holding hands while walking along Zuma Beach in Malibu, California, on Saturday, October 10, in photos obtained by People. The couple went incognito, each wearing baseball caps and sunglasses for the outing.
Us confirmed nearly three weeks earlier that the supermodel and the businessman’s son had died on September 20.
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” a rep for Crawford and Rande, who also share daughter Kaia, told Us in a statement.
Cindy Crawford expressed her love for son Presley Gerber in a sweet birthday tribute shared just two months before his death. “Happy birthday @presleygerber 🎂 I’m so proud of the man you’ve become, but I’ll always see you as my little boy! Love you ❤️,” Crawford, 60, wrote via Instagram on July 2. Alongside her […]
A cause of death has yet to be revealed at the time of publication, pending an ongoing investigation amid authorities’ suspicions of an alleged overdose. Presley and his family had been candid about the model’s substance abuse struggles prior to his death.

“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” Kaia, 25, told Vogue in August of her brother’s addiction battle. “I think that’s also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.”
Presley’s family, who reportedly had his remains cremated, have since received support from their famous friends.
“I don’t think we’re even in the position of even being able to talk about it,” George Clooney, Rande’s close friend and Casamigos business partner, told Entertainment Tonight on Friday, October 9. “Quite honestly, it’s one of the most devastating things that’s happened to our family, and their family.”
Just days after Presley Gerber’s shocking death, his family is moving forward with burial plans. Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s son was cremated at the Rose Family Funeral Home, TMZ reported on Friday, September 25, following his death on Sunday, September 20. He was 27. Presley’s ashes will be kept at his parents’ home in […]
He continued, “As you can imagine, it’s the worst thing that could happen to the family.”
While neither Crawford, Rande nor Kaia have further addressed Presley’s untimely death, several of his former girlfriends have offered their public condolences.

Summer House alum Lexi Wood separately paid tribute to Presley, who she briefly dated in 2022.

“It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years,” Wood, 28, wrote via Instagram late last month. “Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it. Everyone who loved Presley and was loved by him knows he was one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people. He loved so deeply, so purely, was incredibly romantic and thoughtful.”
Not so basic! CHAM founder Christy Cham is giving everyday staples a serious upgrade with her better-than-basics line of long sleeves, tees, dresses, skirts, pants, cardigans, and more, already worn by Ariana Grande and Khloé Kardashian.
Before launching in 2023, Cham worked as a costume designer on film sets with directors including Martin Scorsese, giving her a behind-the-scenes look at the power of a good outfit.CHAM/Instagram
“There was a gap in the market for high end basics and something that was giving you more than just a t-shirt, but not a blouse,” she tells ET.
When dreaming up the pieces she wanted in her own closet, Cham turned to Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, and other style muses, even naming designs after them.
“Those ’90s icons are the people who inspired me most when I first started CHAM. The simplicity of the ’90s where the most important thing was fit and fabric is what I’ve always loved,” she explains.CHAM/Instagram
Naturally, those elements became the foundation of the brand, starting with its proprietary fabric made to feel like a second skin.
“Working in costume design taught me that the ultimate goal is to make someone feel confident in what they’re wearing. … I also learned that everything is amplified on camera. A fabric can read differently, colors can appear brighter, and even a small fit issue can suddenly look messy on screen,” she notes.
“I wanted something sheer, but not too sheer; stretchy, but that would still hold you in, and something that looked high-end and not just like workout material.”

CHAM/Instagram
The silhouettes have a few tricks up their sleeves too, with keyhole necklines, slits, off-the-shoulder styles, cutouts, mini lengths, and more, adding a little something extra to everyday staples.
“When fitting actors, everything had to be incredibly precise. We learned all these little strategies with proportion and fit to create the illusion of a longer torso, slimmer arms, or a more flattering shape. It made me a perfectionist about fit, proportion, and fabric, and really taught me how much the right clothing can transform the way someone looks, and more importantly, how they feel.”
That attention to detail also carries over to the color palette, with shades of red, brown, black, cream, navy, orange, and green, all chosen to make getting dressed that much easier.Hagop Kalaidjian/@hagop
“I choose colors that work well together so they can be easily mixed and matched. I keep the tones softer and focus on flattering undertones, while offering enough variety that everyone can find a color they naturally feel good in,” she says.
And because what’s underneath counts too, the fashion expert took the label one layer deeper by launching undergarments, which she celebrated at Body Shop in West Hollywood, California, on Oct. 3.
“I wanted to create something that was simple, but still sexy that makes a woman feel her best without showing under tight or sheer clothing.”CHAM/Instagram
For anyone looking to make their basics a little less basic, CHAM also offers a wide variety of charms for a playful, personal touch.
“I’ve always gravitated toward cute accessories that make an outfit feel a little less serious and more fun. It feels very in line with fashion right now and the whole whimsymaxxing idea. I’m constantly clipping charms onto skirts, tops, or bags.”
John Cena may not be putting on the Peacemaker helmet again anytime soon, but the actor appears perfectly comfortable waiting for James Gunn to call his number.
During a recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz, Cena opened up about his future as Christopher Smith following the second season of Peacemaker and where the character currently fits within Gunn and Peter Safran’s expanding DC Universe.
When asked whether he had worn the Peacemaker helmet since finishing the second season, Cena gave a straightforward answer: “No.”
That doesn’t mean Cena is walking away from the character. The actor made it clear that he remains committed to Gunn and is willing to return whenever the DC Studios co-CEO needs him.
Cena explained that he has already had an opportunity to play a character who was relatively unknown to mainstream audiences and believes it is now important for Gunn to devote his attention to some of DC’s biggest characters.
“I got to step back.”
Cena pointed to characters such as Superman as examples of the massive pieces Gunn is currently responsible for establishing within the new DCU.
Peacemaker [dc studios]
The comments come as Gunn continues building an interconnected universe across film and television. David Corenswet’s Superman has become one of the central figures of the franchise, while projects involving Batman, Wonder Woman and several other major DC characters remain in various stages of development.

Cena’s comments shouldn’t necessarily be interpreted as the end of Peacemaker.
The second season left Christopher Smith’s story open for continuation, and Gunn has previously avoided giving fans a definitive answer about exactly when Peacemaker or the other members of the 11th Street Kids will return.
For now, Cena appears content to wait.
After helping turn one of DC’s more obscure characters into a major live-action fan favorite, Peacemaker may simply be taking a temporary backseat while Gunn continues putting the larger pieces of the DCU into place.
Former Girls Next Door star Holly Madison has entered the chat as Jessica Biel’s upcoming Playmates filmcontinues to raise eyebrows.
“I can’t wait to see it,” Madison, 46, told TMZ on Saturday, October 10, sharing her support for Biel’s costar Lily-Rose Depp and the director and screenwriter, Lorraine Nicholson, amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the film and its subject matter.
In the upcoming coming-of-age movie, Elle (Indiana Elle) befriends Anna (Depp) as the duo vy to become the next Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine. Lewis Pullman is set to star as the late magazine founder, Hugh Hefner, who died in 2017. Biel, 44, landed the role as a fictionalized version of Hefner’s wife. (Hefner was married to Mildred Williams from 1949 to 1959, to Kimberley Conrad from 1989 to 2010 and to Crystal Hefner from 2012 until his death.)
While Biel has not publicly addressed her involvement, her role has already drawn backlash from critics who argue the movie downplays some of the more serious allegations made against Hefner.
“Please reconsider playing Hugh Hefner’s ‘wife’ if this film intends to romanticize him or the Playboy world,” Crystal, 40, told Biel in a Thursday, October 8, social media post. “I was actually his wife, and I experienced sexual, emotional, financial and physical abuse in this relationship.”
Acknowledging other abuse allegations against Hugh, Crystal hoped the filmmakers made certain changes to the production.
“I hope everyone involved in this film takes the time to listen to the women who lived it before helping Hollywood turn it back into nostalgia,” she said.
Crystal has previously been outspoken about her time in the Playboy Mansion, which she alleged was “traumatizing” in her 2024 memoir, Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself.
“Life in the mansion wasn’t the fairy tale I had once hoped it would be,” she wrote in one passage. “From the outside, sure, it had all the trappings of a fairy tale. But it wasn’t, and everyone who lived there knew it.”
The truth behind the fantasy. The Playboy Mansion is the stuff of pop culture legend, but former Playmates have been brutally honest about what life was really like there — and how the late Hugh Hefner treated them. Holly Madison was never technically a Playmate, but she did live with Hefner, who died in September […]
Crystal later filed a complaint against the Hugh M. Hefner Foundation in February, expressing concern if Hugh’s explicit scrapbooks were to be made public.
“My focus is on how Hugh Hefner’s personal scrapbooks chronicle private moments that took place behind closed doors,” she said during a press conference at the time. “There are serious and unresolved concerns about the scope of what these books contain. The materials span decades, beginning in the 1960s, and may include images of girls who were underage at the time and could not consent to how their images would be retained or controlled.”

It was a major week for Stephen King‘s fans, who got to watch not one but two new shows targeted directly at them. Only one of these new titles, however, is actually based on a King story. The other, Netflix’s Below, simply borrows some of the iconic writer’s narrative techniques. Starring Josh Hartnett and Mackenzie Davis, Below emerged as an instant hit on Netflix after its October 8 release. According to FlixPatrol, it’s currently the streamer’s number-one show worldwide. Below was released only a day after the real King adaptation, the third based on his very first novel. The seven-part limited series has announced itself as a massive hit on Prime Video, successfully taking the top spot.
According to FlixPatrol, the new show pulled off the incredible feat of defeating not only Reacher, but the Reacher spin-off Neagley. Both shows have delivered incredible results for Prime Video this year, with the fourth season of Reacher breaking viewership records for the title and Neagley having amassed more than 3 billion minutes watched in two weeks, according to the latest Nielsen report. Reacher typically retains a top-10 spot on the global Prime Video leaderboard throughout the year, and Neagley is still relatively new. For the King adaptation to unseat both action shows is quite a remarkable feat.

The Lights Just Went Out Your Nightmare Is…
Four franchises, four completely different ways of getting underneath
your skin. This is the one built out of your particular fear, why it works so well on you, and what
it would leave behind.
A Nightmare on Elm Street · Since 1984
Elm Street
Your nightmare does not wait outside the door. It waits for you
to close your eyes, which you are going to have to do eventually, because nobody has ever
won that particular argument.
Freddy is horror’s cruellest idea: a threat that lives in the one place you cannot
guard, cannot lock, and cannot avoid forever.
You are the one who is fine during the film and wide awake at two in the morning. Your
own head is where this does its damage.
These films understood exhaustion as a horror engine. The kids on Elm Street do not lose
because they are weak. They lose because they are tired.
You can lock every door in the house. You still have to sleep.

Child’s Play · Chucky · Since 1988
Chucky
Your nightmare is not really the doll. It is the face of the
person you tell, and the way they decide, very kindly, that you have imagined all of it.
Chucky works precisely because he is absurd. That is the trap: the more accurately you
describe him, the less anybody is going to believe you.
You are the one shouting at the screen because the characters are not listening. You
know that feeling from real life too.
The franchise is at its best when the adults in the room are the real obstacle, and you
have met those adults.
By the time somebody finally believes you, you will have handled most of it on your own.
Scream · Ghostface · Since 1996
Scream
Your nightmare has your number, knows your name, and has almost
certainly been inside your house before. The worst part is that you already know them.
Scream is the only one of these where the killer takes the mask off and turns out to be
somebody who was at the party.
You are the person who calls the twist out loud before it lands. You watch people the
same way you watch films.
The franchise made the rules of horror part of the plot, which means the survivors are
the ones paying attention. You would be paying attention.
Everybody is a suspect, including the person who just offered to walk you home.
The Conjuring · The Warren Files · Since 2013
The Conjuring
Your nightmare is not really about you. It is about the people
asleep down the hall, and the feeling that whatever is here is not interested in leaving.
The Conjuring films are domestic horror. The house, the family, the perfectly ordinary
room that quietly stops feeling ordinary.
Your instinct is to get everybody into one room. Your fear is protective rather than
personal, which is rarer than it sounds.
This is the one franchise where belief is the weapon. The people who come through it are
the ones who are not alone and refuse to be.
Whatever is here did not come for you. It came for the household, and you are the one
standing in the hallway.

Mike Flanagan Has an Incredible Track Record
We’re talking, of course, about Carrie. Spearheaded by frequent King collaborator Mike Flanagan — the director previously adapted Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep, and The Life of Chuck — Carrie follows in the footsteps of Brian De Palma‘s 1976 original and Kimberly Peirce‘s 2013 remake. The new show received positive reviews, and is currently sitting at a “Certified Fresh” 85% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. The site’s consensus reads, “Mike Flanagan aptly expands this teen mythos with added compassion and ingenuity, bringing a modern touch to a timeless work and giving all performers involved the opportunity to shine while witnessing the ascension of a fascinatingly new Carrie.” Flanagan is also working on a long-awaited adaptation of King’s magnum opus, The Dark Tower, but first, he’s set to release a hotly anticipated reboot of The Exorcist franchise, titled The Exorcist: Martyrs. Zeta-Jones recently admitted that she has not read her husband’s newly released book. Her tight schedule has been the major reason for not reading the book; however, she encouraged others to read the memoir regardless.
Michael Douglas and Zeta-Jones have been married for over 25 years. There is also a 25-year age gap between the couple. The veteran actor was previously married to Diandra Luker before their divorce in 2000.
Michael Douglas Says ‘Ooh Yeah!’ To Catherine Zeta-Jones Not Reading His Memoir
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Douglas was asked about Zeta-Jones admitting she had not read his memoir. Kimmel mentioned that she had told an interviewer she was not planning to read it. He then asked Douglas if he thought that decision was probably for the best.
Douglas paused for two seconds and blurted out “Ooh yeah!” before pointing to the 25-year age gap between himself and his wife. He explained that he had opened up about his past, including his relationship with actress Kathleen Turner. The pair had an affair while making “Romancing the Stone,” years before Douglas met Zeta-Jones.
The actor noted that Zeta-Jones was only seven years old when the affair happened. The actor said Zeta-Jones “wouldn’t know her husband for, you know, 25 years ahead.” “So I think she’s had to accept the fact that with having this kind of age difference, you may have had a life before you ever saw her for the first time,” he added.
Kimmel joked that Zeta-Jones might previously have believed Douglas was a virgin when they married. The actor responded that Kimmel knew she had said that, playing along with the joke. When asked whether he contacted the women he wrote about, including Turner, Douglas confirmed by saying, “I did.”
Zeta-Jones Highlighted Her Packed Schedule As Reason For Memoir Snub
Zeta-Jones’ decision not to read her husband’s book was because of her demanding work schedule. She spoke with Willie Geist on “Today.” She explained that she had only recently finished filming the third season of “Wednesday.” She said she had spent seven months shooting the series in Dublin before moving straight into another project.
After wrapping “Wednesday,” Zeta-Jones flew to London to work on “Kill Jackie.” She then traveled to Spain before appearing on the morning show with Geist. She said to him, “And now I’m here talking to you, [Willie Geist] on the fabulous Today show.”
The Welsh actress said she had “no intention” of reading about her husband when she was already tired at night. She encouraged other people to read the book. The Blast reported that she told readers to “hold onto their cowboy hats.”

‘One Helluva Of A Ride’ Is Filled With Michael Douglas’ Past Relationship Secrets
In the “One Helluva of a Ride” memoir, Douglas wrote about past romances, including his affair with Turner during “Romancing the Stone.” He also wrote about his relationship with Jeanne Tripplehorn during “Basic Instinct.”
The Hollywood actor also discussed his heavy cocaine use during the 1970s. He recalled one evening taking the drug with O.J. Simpson. He described drunkenly insulting Julia Roberts at the 1990 Golden Globes. The memoir also revealed an FBI threat connected to a possible needle attack at the 1992 Oscars.
Douglas explained his decision to become more candid about his past in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “Your 80s may be a good time to share,” he said, reflecting on why he chose to tell these stories now. He also said that trying to do the right thing sometimes left him looking like “the bad guy.”
“One Helluva of a Ride” talked about Douglas’ relationship with his first wife, Luker. The former couple continued sharing their Mallorca home after their divorce. Douglas described the arrangement as “uncomfortable.” The actor and his wife eventually became the sole owners of the Mallorca home.
Douglas’ memoir shed light on his relationship with Tripplehorn during “Basic Instinct.” Audiences had long speculated about an offscreen romance between Douglas and Sharon Stone because of their chemistry in the 1992 thriller. Douglas’ account revealed that his feelings were directed toward Tripplehorn, who played his therapist.

Mike Ditka, the legendary Chicago Bears player and coach who became one of the most recognizable figures in NFL history, has died. He was 86.
Ditka’s family announced his passing on Friday, October 9. A cause of death has not been announced.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Mike Ditka,” his family said in a statement. “While the world knew Mike as a Hall of Fame football player, legendary coach, and leader of the Chicago Bears’ Super Bowl XX championship team, we knew him as the heart of our family.”

Known throughout his career as “Iron Mike” and later simply “Da Coach,” Ditka built a legacy in Chicago that spanned generations.
The Bears selected Ditka with the fifth overall pick in the 1961 NFL Draft. The tight end immediately established himself as one of the league’s brightest young stars, recording 1,076 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns during his rookie season and earning NFL Rookie of the Year honors.
Ditka spent six seasons with Chicago before playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. He won an NFL championship with the Bears in 1963 and later captured Super Bowl VI as a member of the Cowboys.
His accomplishments eventually made him the first tight end ever inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, earning his place in Canton in 1988.

But for generations of football fans, Ditka will forever be associated with the 1985 Chicago Bears.
Ditka returned to Chicago as head coach in 1982 and transformed the Bears into one of the NFL’s dominant teams. The 1985 squad finished the regular season 15-1 before overwhelming the New England Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl XX.
The championship team became a cultural phenomenon, with personalities including Walter Payton, Jim McMahon, William “The Refrigerator” Perry and Mike Singletary helping make the Bears one of the most memorable teams in NFL history.
Ditka coached the Bears for 11 seasons and led Chicago to seven playoff appearances. He later returned to coaching with the New Orleans Saints.

He also remained a familiar face to football fans long after leaving the sidelines, working as an NFL analyst and broadcaster while continuing to be closely associated with the Bears and the city of Chicago.
Following news of his death, the Bears paid tribute to one of the most important figures in franchise history.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of legendary and treasured Chicago Bear and Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Ditka,” the organization said.
Ditka leaves behind a legacy few figures in professional football could match — an NFL champion as a player, a Super Bowl champion as an assistant coach and the head coach who delivered Chicago its only Super Bowl championship.

Young Mazino has officially signed with Creative Artists Agency, a move that cements the rising actor’s status as one of Hollywood’s most in-demand new talents following an Emmy-nominated breakout and a fast-growing slate of film, television and video game projects.
The news, confirmed exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter, lands at a pivotal moment for Young Mazino, whose career has accelerated rapidly since his star turn as Paul Cho in Netflix and A24’s dark comedy “Beef.” That performance, opposite Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, earned him an Emmy nomination for best supporting actor in a limited series and opened doors that had previously been shut to the Asian-American actor, who spent years in smaller television roles on shows like “Blindspot,” “New Amsterdam” and “Blue Bloods” before his breakthrough.
From Supporting Roles to Leading Man: Young Mazino’s Rise
Mazino’s trajectory mirrors a broader shift in Hollywood casting, where streaming hits have increasingly become launching pads for actors who once struggled to land substantial roles. After “Beef” put him on the map, Mazino landed the role of Jesse in the second season of HBO’s acclaimed drama “The Last of Us,” created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, further raising his profile among prestige television audiences.
He also appeared alongside Ayo Edebiri in A24’s psychological thriller “Opus,” written and directed by Mark Anthony Green, adding another credit to a filmography that increasingly leans toward buzzy, critically watched projects rather than one-off guest spots.

A Packed Slate Across Film, TV and Gaming
The CAA signing comes as Young Mazino’s workload spans multiple entertainment mediums simultaneously. He currently stars in “Via Negativa,” director Hannah Peterson’s adaptation of Daniel Hornsby’s novel of the same name, which premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Festival to industry attention. He is also lending his voice to the character Gef in Netflix’s animated feature “Steps,” appearing alongside Ali Wong and Stephanie Hsu when the film premieres in November.
Perhaps most notably for fans outside traditional film and television circles, Mazino is stepping into the video game world as the voice and motion-capture performer behind Private Park, the lead protagonist of Activision’s highly anticipated “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4,” slated for release on October 23. The role marks a significant crossover moment, placing Young Mazino at the center of one of gaming’s most commercially dominant franchises and signaling studios’ growing interest in casting recognizable screen actors for motion-capture leads.
What the CAA Deal Signals
Representation shifts like this one are often read by industry insiders as a bellwether for where an actor’s career is headed next. Signing with a major agency like CAA typically precedes a wave of higher-profile film offers, awards-season campaigns, and brand partnerships, suggesting that Young Mazino’s team is positioning him for an even bigger few years ahead.
Mazino will continue to be represented by Gerald Lee at 1V1 Entertainment, Stephanie Moy at M88, and Michael Auerbach at Jackoway Austen, alongside his new partnership with CAA and continued work with Narrative PR. For an actor who spent years in background and supporting parts before his “Beef” breakout, the combination of awards recognition, prestige television, acclaimed independent film and a tentpole video game franchise suggests Hollywood has taken notice — and that Young Mazino’s rise is only accelerating.
