Ashley Judd Celebrates Her Midlife Era in the Ocean
Ashley Judd is living her best life at 58.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, June 11, Judd shared a video of herself splashing about in the water as she embraced her midlife era.
The post was titled, “We Don’t Care Club: Baltic Sea Edition.” The caption was a nod to the “We Do Not Care Club,” the social media movement created by Melani Sanders, which encourages women to lean into their later years.
“This installment is a healing tonic for a grave condition that often plagues adults and the overly serious: ‘Know-It-All-itis,’ ” Judd wrote in the caption.
The actress also made jokes as she frolicked in the sea. “The good news is when it’s shallow you don’t get as much sand in your crotch,” she quipped.
At another point in the video, Judd picked up seaweed, which she called “salad” before shaping it into a crown and describing herself as a “lady of the sea.”
Followers praised Judd’s enthusiastic spirit in the comments section.

“Physical beauty is obvious, you are so radiant and natural, however it’s your childlike happy spirit that is shining! A real mermaid! 🧜♀️ Fierce and gentle and of the sea. 🌊” wrote one follower.
Another added, “You are a ray of sunshine in a dark place.”
Judd has previously uploaded videos as part of the “We Don’t Care Club” movement.
“Hi, I’m Ashley and I’m a member of the We Don’t Care Club,” she declared in a July 2025 post. “Sometimes when I wear a swimsuit, I get a little chafing, like right down there, so I put on cornstarch. Good trick if you don’t know it already.”
After showing off a non-stinging type of jellyfish in her hands, Judd placed the sea creature back into the water and said she was “picking my crotch and I don’t care.”
She told fans about her “MSU Club,” or “Make Stuff Up Club,” and said that as a “postmenopausal woman, I don’t care if you don’t like the MSU Club.”
In a June 2025 Instagram post, Judd candidly opened up about being “post-menopausal since 2018.”
“And super comfortable with that. Peri, menopause, and post-menopause is human biology and medically accurate,” she wrote. “Sex education is essential. I am rejoicing in @justbeingmelani un muzzling of peri/post/menopausal expression and her inviting in all kinds of women to liberate their ‘I don’t cares!’ We are enough, we do enough, it is enough. It is okay, we are okay. It is human biology. Fact and true. To all my menopausal ladies out there, what are your don’t cares?!”

Bart Edmiston Sends Cease-And-Desist To Kymbra Li
Bart Edmiston Jr. has reportedly sent a cease-and-desist letter to content creator Kymbra Li for her alleged “false and defamatory” statements amid the Nolan Wells investigation.

Bart Edmiston Jr. Reportedly Sends Cease-And-Desist To Kymbra Li For Alleged “False” Statements
On the evening of Wednesday, July 29, Bart Edmiston Jr.’s lawyer, Russell Latino, returned to Facebook to share a post that mentioned content creator Kymbra Li. In his Facebook post, the lawyer wrote, “I had someone today call me and ask me to sue them for defaming Bart Edmiston, Jr. I love when little dogs think they are big dogs.”
He went on to say that a cease-and-desist was served to Li.
“Anyway, we served a cease and desist, demand for correction and evidence preservation notice on social media influencer, comedian, rapper, and Only Fans model ‘Kymbra Li’ today in anticipation of filing a defamation lawsuit against her,” he wrote. “I anticipate at least two more such notices going out by the end of the week. I just bought a new case of toner for my printer.”
The Sun Herald confirmed the update. Subsequently, the outlet published a copy of the five-page cease-and-desist notice. Furthermore, it demanded that Li cease her conduct, preserve evidence of her previous posts, and correct and apologize for her false statements.
Additionally, the notice alleged that Li doxxed Edmiston and his family, leading them to receive a “credible death threat.” Per the notice, Li allegedly claimed Edmiston murdered Nolan Wells and participated in concealing information.
The notice concluded with the expectation that Li would provide “written confirmation” within five days of receiving the letter. It notes that if Li does not comply with the demands by then, all “legal remedies” will be pursued.
Kymbra Li Acknowledges The Report
Since news of the notice has surfaced, Li has been active on social media. In one NFSW post, she called out TMZ. Additionally, in another post, she noted the free “marketing” from the report and potential lawsuit.
More On Bart Edmiston Jr. & The Nolan Wells Investigation
As The Shade Room previously reported, Bart Edmiston Jr. reportedly lawyered up on Wednesday, July 30. This appeared to be due to an image circulating of him on social media. Furthermore, claims alleged that the photo showed him posing with Katie McCormack, the girl with whom it is claimed that Nolan Wells allegedly stayed behind on Horn Island before he was found dead.
Furthermore, social media users claimed Edmiston Jr. allegedly had some friction with Wells over McCormack, and therefore participated in Wells’ death — a claim which his lawyer vehemently denied in an initial statement.

Wonder Man Will Not Return for Season 2 at Disney+ : Coastal House Media
With Spider-Man: Brand New Day now in theaters, excitement for the future of Marvel’s web-slinger has never been higher. While fans are enjoying Tom Holland’s latest adventure as Peter Parker, many are already looking ahead to the next Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has confirmed that a live action Miles Morales is part of the studio’s future plans following the conclusion of Sony’s Spider-Verse trilogy. At the same time, Holland has made it clear that he’s eager to help introduce the fan favorite hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Speaking about the future of the franchise, Holland said:
“I know that I have aspirations to bring Miles Morales into the universe, however that works out. We’ve got a lot of work to do to bring that to life. But yeah, I feel really strongly about it… I would love to kind of return that favor to the next generation of people that get the luxury of making these movies. So that is definitely something that I’m really working towards.”
Holland has also spoken about wanting to mentor the actor who eventually plays Miles, much like Robert Downey Jr.helped welcome him into the MCU nearly a decade ago.
With Marvel officially moving toward introducing Miles Morales, the question has shifted from if he’ll appear to whoshould play him.
Here are the three actors who continue to dominate fan casting discussions.
1. Caleb McLaughlin
If there’s one actor whose name appears more than any other, it’s Caleb McLaughlin.
Best known for his breakout role in Stranger Things, McLaughlin has repeatedly been mentioned by fans as the ideal choice to bring Miles Morales to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor has also expressed interest in playing the character, further fueling speculation.
His combination of charisma, emotional range, and action experience makes him an easy fit for a version of Miles balancing superhero responsibilities with everyday life.

2. Miles Brown
Sometimes the name is just too perfect.
Miles Brown has quietly become one of the strongest fan favorites thanks to his athletic background, youthful energy, and experience leading family-oriented productions. While he may not have the same level of mainstream recognition as McLaughlin, many Marvel fans believe he fits the age and personality of Miles Morales exceptionally well.
As Marvel continues to look toward the next generation of heroes, Brown remains one of the most frequently suggested rising stars.

3. Tyrel Jackson Williams
Long before Marvel officially acknowledged plans for a live action Miles Morales, Tyrel Jackson Williams was already winning fan polls for the role.
Known for his comedic timing and natural screen presence, Williams continues to receive support from fans who envision a slightly older version of Miles entering the MCU. Even years after those early campaigns, his name remains a consistent part of the conversation whenever casting rumors surface.

Miles Morales Is Finally Swinging Toward the MCU
Marvel hasn’t revealed when Miles Morales will officially make his live action debut, but all signs point to the character being one of the franchise’s biggest priorities after Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. With Tom Holland eager to pass the torch someday and Kevin Feige confirming that plans are already in motion, it’s only a matter of time before Marvel begins searching for the actor who will become the next Spider-Man.
Who Gets Our Vote?
If Marvel were casting today, our picks would be:
- Caleb McLaughlin
- Miles Brown
- Tyrel Jackson Williams
Each actor brings something unique to the role, but all three have built passionate fan support over the past several years. Whoever ultimately lands the part will have big shoes to fill, but they’ll also inherit one of Marvel’s most beloved heroes.

Nolan Wells’ Family Hires Audio Experts To Review Sea Tow Call
Less than a month after Nolan Wells‘ death, the internet streets haven’t stopped demanding answers and justice. Amid the public’s investment in the case, Attorney Ben Crump provided updates in a media conference on Thursday (July 30). He revealed that the family has hired experts to dig into the known facts.

Ben Crump Describes Experts Looking Into Nolan Wells’ Case
Attorney Ben Crump kicked off the media conference by shouting for justice for three Black families, including that of Nolan Wells. Then, Marc Morial, the president and CEO of the National Urban League, took over the mic. Morial spoke of the courage emanating from the families on stage, the loneliness that comes with this fight, and how his organization is standing behind these families.
Then, Ben Crump informed the audience that his team obtained the viral Sea Tow phone call and had retained audio engineers to perform a forensic audio analysis. Additionally, their team is consulting with ocean engineering experts to investigate how and where Nolan Wells’ body was found and whether it makes sense given low and high tides near Horn Island.
“It’s not adding up. So we are going to dot every I and cross every T until we find out what happened to Nolan Wells,” Crump said.
Clinging to her husband, Nolan Wells’ mother, Christine Wonsley, nodded her head up and down as Ben Crump spoke.
Attorney Crump Says They’re Seeking Justice & A Fair Investigation
Additionally, Attorney Ben Crump said they’re coordinating with the medical examiner who conducted the independent autopsy to be able to inspect Nolan Wells’ throat. As previously reported, parts of the 18-year-old’s throat were missing when his body was sent to Washington, D.C., from Mississippi for the independent autopsy.
“We are dotting Is and crossing Ts, we are focused on getting to the truth. Me and everybody on my legal team stand for the truth, no matter who it implicates or who it exonerates. We stand for justice, no matter who it convicts or who it acquits,” Crump said. “We are saying we want to make sure everybody who is remotely involved has the questions answered to make sure we have a full and fair and impartial and transparent investigation. And is that too much to ask for these broken-hearted parents?”
Crump said no one on his side is getting distracted by the backlash, thr

What’s On The Sea Tow Audio?
As mentioned, this call has been taking over social media in recent days, especially after an independent audio engineer, Jeanetta Brantley, cleaned it up, making the background noise audible. The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (MDMR) initially released the audio. During the nine-minute call, one of the teens who traveled to Horn Island with Nolan Wells informed dispatch that their boat was sinking due to a bilge pump issue. Aside from the conversation with dispatch, the viral version of the audio features other voices in the background. At one point, someone allegedly says, “Wyatt, check his chest.” Other alleged phrases and words like “Wake the f*ck up,” “Nolan,” and “Nolan, don’t die” are seemingly heard as well.
Ultimately, Sea Tow never arrived to assist the sinking boat. That’s because a man named Jerry Adkerson, reportedly the boat operator’s grandfather, called to cancel. Instead, a friend named Bart Edmiston Jr. towed the boat, according to a statement released by his family. Bart’s family has also retained a lawyer and denied allegations that he caused Nolan Wells’ death. Instead, they claim, he’s been overly cooperative with law enforcement. Their statement said they’re going after anyone spreading alleged misinformation about Bart.

Nolan Tops Box Office as Adult Version Of ‘The Odyssey’ Nears 1M Streams
It’s Odyssey season in America, and the numbers on both ends are hard to argue with.
Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey opened to $123.5 million domestically its first weekend, then set a new 2026 record for highest Monday gross with another $18.6 million. Globally, the film has already crossed $282 million, marking Nolan’s biggest worldwide opening of all time. It is, by any measure, the movie of the summer.
And then there’s the other Odyssey.

CosplayGround’s adult six-part parody of Homer’s epic, which dropped ahead of the Nolan film and has been building momentum ever since, is closing in on a million streams across platforms. The production is still pulling in thousands of new views every single day, a number that has only accelerated as Nolan’s blockbuster keeps the ancient Greek hero on everyone’s tongue.
The same story. Two completely different audiences. Both cashing in.

CosplayGround didn’t stumble into good timing. The studio built their Odyssey as a genuine production, structured as a six-episode series the creative team calls “Rhapsodies,” a nod to the oral tradition of Ancient Greek epic poetry. Written and co-produced by Yannick Dotes alongside Austin Fiascone and directed by Raphaël Massicotte, with artistic direction from Zoe Evans, the series covers the complete journey from the fall of Troy to Odysseus’ return to Ithaca and his confrontation with the suitors.
Charles Dera leads the production as Odysseus across all six episodes, a commitment that mirrors the scope of what Nolan pulled off with Matt Damon on the mainstream side.
The Casting Mirror

Part of what made the parody a talking point from the jump was how deliberately CosplayGround tracked the mainstream casting conversation. Nolan landed Lupita Nyong’o for Helen of Troy; the parody cast Ana Foxxx. Zendaya plays Athena for Nolan, with rising performer Isa Bella taking the role in the adult version, appearing as the goddess across multiple episodes in keeping with Homer’s original text. Charlize Theron is Calypso in the blockbuster; reigning Female Performer of the Year Anna Claire Clouds takes the role here.
Tiffani Time, a Las Vegas-based performer making a rapid move into full studio productions, plays Circe. Octavia Red takes on the Siren, shot with custom body paint and practical special effects makeup. Lana Smalls closes the series as Penelope. The production was filmed across real Las Vegas cave and desert locations, with a level of visual intentionality that shows up in the SFW trailer currently hosted at cosplayground.com.
Riding the Wave

The daily stream velocity tells the real story. Viewership hasn’t dropped off. If anything, every new box office headline Nolan generates sends a fresh wave of curious audiences toward the CosplayGround version. The production is bearing down on a milestone that most adult studios never reach, and it’s getting there on the back of one of the biggest mainstream films in years.
Nolan’s film has been credited with single-handedly reviving the July box office after a slow start to the month. What nobody accounted for was a six-part adult parody benefiting just as much from the hype.

Hollywood spent $250 million to bring Odysseus home. CosplayGround did it for considerably less, got there first, and is still counting streams.
Homer would probably find the whole thing very on brand.

‘The Big Bang Theory’s New Sci-Fi Spin-Off Is Officially Taking Over the World
Now firmly in its franchise era, HBO is seeing the benefits of this strategy already. Television was always uniquely reliant on sequels, so to speak — every successful show is expected to return every year with a new installment. But before the streaming boom, TV was also viewed as a venue for originality. HBO was at the forefront of producing what is now known as prestige television, and this commitment rubbed off on several other networks. In fact, in the early years, streaming platforms seemed to be relying on a similar strategy. But the pendulum has swung in a different direction now, with even HBO turning to a populist model to keep with the times. All of this is to say that the same HBO that released shows like Oz and The Wire is now releasing titles such as The Penguin, Lanterns, House of the Dragon, and a new hit that’s taking over the streaming charts.
Released as an HBO Max original, the show is a spin-off of perhaps one of the most enduring sitcoms ever made. But here’s the catch, the new spin-off isn’t a sitcom itself, but rather, has been tweaked to suit the sensibilities of a streaming audience. Created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady, the show centers on a recurring character from the original, a character who primarily stayed in the background.
The Time Travel Show Is the Perfect Comedic Lead-In to ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
We’re talking, of course, about The Big Bang Theory and its new spin-off Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. The show stars Kevin Sussman as the titular character, owner of the comic book store frequented by the original’s protagonists. But instead of being a sitcom, it’s a multiverse-hopping sci-fi comedy. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe has received mostly positive reviews and is currently sitting at a 74% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. In her review, Collider’s Greer Riddell called the series “charming and mind-bending.” According to FlixPatrol, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe debuted at the number two spot on the domestic and global HBO Max charts, trailing House of the Dragon on both charts. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

‘The Last of Us’ Officially Resurrects Joel Miller for New 2027 Release
When it comes to popular video game adaptations, few shows or movies have picked up as much steam in recent years as The Last of Us. Based on the popular game series developed by Naughty Dog, the same studio behind the Uncharted games, The Last of Us released its first game back in 2013, and it followed with a sequel seven years later in 2020. Both games received widespread critical acclaim and several Game of the Year awards, and the show was turned into a TV show only a few years after The Last of Us Part II over on HBO. HBO recruited Pedro Pascal to play Joel in The Last of Us and Bella Ramsey to play Ellie — both actors have received Emmy nods for their performances in each of the first two seasons.
The Last of Us Part II was extremely divisive upon its release, particularly for its killing off of the main character, Joel Miller, much earlier in the game than fans expected. This did allow Ellie to step into the lead role in Part II, but fans are still not ready to say goodbye to Joel. And, thanks to a new release courtesy of Prime 1 Studio coming next year, they don’t have to. Joel Miller is officially returning in 2027 via a Real Elite Masterline collectible statue from Prime 1, but the limited edition release is only getting 350 units total. It also runs at a retail price of $1,399.00, making it one of the more expensive collectibles on the market. The Joel Miller Real Elite Masterline statue is almost indiscernible from Joel’s appearance in The Last of Us Part I, though, and a must-have for die-hard TLOU fans.
When Does ‘The Last of Us’ Season 3 Come Out?
HBO has not yet set a release date for The Last of Us Season 3, but it has been confirmed that it will be the final season of the show. This is not at all surprising and a very natural progression, especially considering how the first two seasons have adapted the events of the game. The first season of The Last of Us adapted the entirety of The Last of Us Part I, and Season 2 focused on Ellie’s perspective in The Last of Us Part II. This only leaves Abby’s perspective in The Last of Us Season 3 before the show comes to a close.
Check out the first two seasons of The Last of Us on HBO Max and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the franchise.

‘Ted Lasso’ Is Entering a New Era on Apple TV, but This Duo Still Has Its Best Story
When Ted Lasso returns for Season 4 this August, it won’t just be bringing AFC Richmond back to the pitch — it’ll also introduce the Lady Greyhounds, ushering in a brand-new chapter for the beloved Apple TV comedy. With new faces set to take center stage, there’s no better time to look back at the relationships that made the original three seasons so special.
Romance has always been a defining part of the series, from Ted (Jason Sudeikis) and Rebecca’s (Hannah Waddingham) will-they-won’t-they dynamic to Keeley (Juno Temple) navigating multiple romances and Colin’s (Billy Harris) deeply personal journey. But as memorable as those love stories are, Ted Lasso‘s greatest relationship was never romantic. Instead, the show’s most rewarding arc belonged to one unlikely bromance that transformed from bitter rivalry into one of television’s most heartfelt friendships.
Roy and Jamie Hated Each Other in ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 1
When Ted Lasso and his trusted assistant Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) arrive in the United Kingdom to coach AFC Richmond, they meet two very prominent members of the struggling soccer team. The first is the bullish Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) — a once-legendary star of the sport whose age and career’s worth of injuries finally catch up to him. The second is the cocky Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster), who’s become the new star player on the team despite his braggadocious attitude and constant bullying of select team members and staff.
So we have a former legend who’s past his prime and a rising star who’s unimaginably arrogant. The makings of a classic sports rivalry practically writes itself, and Roy and Jamie constantly butt heads throughout the entire season. Roy is very much framed as the underdog while Jamie is the jock-esque bully, and that becomes especially true when Roy develops romantic feelings for Jamie’s then-girlfriend, Keeley. After Keeley finds out that Jamie has been unfaithful, she breaks up with the hothead and starts a relationship with the gruff yet kindhearted Roy.
Ted takes notice of Roy’s cavalier attitude and tries his best to rectify it, but before he can reach a breakthrough with the arrogant team member, Jamie is traded to another team in Manchester City.
Roy and Jamie Tolerated Each Other in ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2
Season 2 of Ted Lasso represents a significant transition period for Roy and Jamie. Roy has officially left AFC Richmond behind by retiring, deciding that he’s not physically capable of competing in the sport any longer. Instead, he’s now coaching the youth soccer team of his young beloved niece, but this does little to satiate Roy’s desire to still be involved with the game of football. He then decides to take on a job as a sports broadcaster, but his signature brand of honesty and foul mouth makes that position not a great fit. Instead, he finds his way back to AFC Richmond, this time not as a player, but as an assistant coach for Ted.
Meanwhile, Jamie is seemingly living the high life, being a contestant on a dating show that’s clearly a parody of Love Island. When Jamie is the first contestant to be voted off the show and embarrassed in front of national television, the football player realizes that his bad-boy attitude is no longer popular among his fanbase, which has also led him to get kicked off the team he got traded to. With nowhere else to turn to, Jamie finds his way back to Ted and convinces him to let him come back to play for AFC Richmond, despite treating him and the rest of the team like dirt.
Suffice it to say, most of the team’s members and employees aren’t thrilled at Jamie’s return, especially Roy. It takes quite a lot of time, but Jamie ultimately proves to Roy and his teammates that he’s changed and matured, working to mend the bridges with the people he tormented and bullied. Roy even sees the reason behind Jamie’s past behavior when he meets Jamie’s father — an unbelievably selfish and cruel man who has been abusing his son for who knows how long. After Jamie finally delivers a well-earned punch to his father, Roy is quick to put their differences aside and comforts the upset player. We see how their relationship really evolves when Jamie confesses to Roy that he told Keeley that he’s still in love with her — instead of going ballistic on Jamie, Roy forgives him. Roy does give Jamie a solid strike after the team gets promoted but quickly hugs him as they celebrate their big win.
Roy and Jamie Become Close Friends in ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 3
By Season 3, Roy and Jamie are still following the same career paths, but both are continuing to evolve as people. Roy, in particular, is going through a dramatic change in his own life, as he and Keeley have officially decided to break up, supposedly due to their incredibly busy schedules. Jamie, meanwhile, is going through a personal crisis of his own when legendary player Zava (Maximilian Osinski) joins the team and suddenly overshadows him as the star player of AFC Richmond. Both of these events mark a key turning point in their lives, but it also allows Roy and Jamie to go from teammates who tolerate each other to friends who actually like each other.
Once Zava joins the team and becomes the primary source for the team’s win streak, Jamie desperately wants to prove that he’s a better player than the pretentious new transfer. Roy senses that Jamie is self-conscious about his playing ability, and offers to train Jamie to become a better player. This requires getting up at an absurdly early hour and going for long runs in the dark, but this does put Jamie on a path to becoming a much better player. While the rest of the team takes a break to explore Amsterdam, Jamie continues his training with Roy, but even he’s able to convince his mentor to unwind and take a bit of a break. They’ve already been warming up to each other quite a bit, but after Jamie teaches Roy a few tricks himself, such as the seemingly basic task of riding a bike, it’s abundantly clear that they’ve officially gone from bitter rivals to reluctant teammates to possibly even best friends.
With Ted Lasso preparing to introduce the Lady Greyhounds in Season 4, the series is entering a new era filled with fresh relationships and dynamics. Still, Roy and Jamie’s journey from bitter rivals to genuine friends will be difficult to top.
Ted Lasso Seasons 1–3 are available to stream on Apple TV, with Season 4 premiering August 4.
