Love Is Blind alum Alexa Lemieux and estranged husband Brennon Lemieux are trying to keep their dynamic cordial amid their divorce.

“I feel like I’m in a really great place in my life,” Alexa, 31, said on the Thursday, May 21, episode of the “He Said G Said” podcast. “Obviously, divorce is tough and while things are happening it’s tough. We were still living together in the same house up until two months ago.”

Alexa and Brennon, 35, got married in 2021 after meeting sight unseen on Love Is Blind season 3. The pair welcomed daughter Vienna in 2024, one year before Alexa announced their separation in December 2025. (Brennon filed for divorce one month earlier.)

“You’re living under the same roof, and it’s a very different dynamic [while] going through a divorce,” Alexa said. “You’re going to things and then you’re coming back under the same roof, then you’re also dealing with s*** online and people saying things, and you’re still in the same house.”

Despite any awkwardness, Alexa believes that she and Brennon “are doing pretty well” maintaining an amicable relationship.

“[We’re] trying to have dinner together still and trying to find a friendly dynamic … and trying to get a healthy [relationship] and you have to coparent,” the Netflix reality star added. “Like, [we] have a child who still gets up in the middle of the night, that’s already hard when you’re more of a team. I think we try to keep things as normal as possible.”

According to Alexa, it is “much easier” now that they no longer live in the same house.

“I can just speak for myself, but I am doing really well,” she stated. “I’m really happy and grateful that I get a second chance at life. I’m excited to start dating again, like, my marriage was the first serious relationship I’d ever been in. I never dated seriously before that. … I’m excited to go on a date and get flowers, just like, be wooed a little bit.”

Before Alexa dives back into the dating scene, she acknowledges that she and Brennon are “still figuring [their dynamic] out.”

“We’re texting right now while I’m here,” she added. “That’s someone who’s going to be in my life for the rest of my life, and I commend myself for how much I’ve seen [the] big picture of this entire situation. It’s so easy to get caught up.”

Alexa continued, “All I need from him is to be a good parent, and he does that, so I’m good. … I wish him all the happiness.”

More than a week into the credentials controversy surrounding Cheyenne Bryant, Dr. Umar Johnson is weighing in. His name has been mentioned amid Bryant doubling down on having a doctorate. Despite her refusal to show receipts, Dr. Umar is standing by Cheyenne. He claims, “She hasn’t hurt anybody.” Adding that Black women, specifically, are attacking Bryant over her looks and career.

Dr. Umar Johnson Says He Hasn’t “Seen Any Wrongdoing” From Cheyenne Bryant 

On Wednesday (May 20), ‘The Art of Dialogue’ podcast released a sit-down with Dr. Umar Johnson about Bryant. In the nine-minute clip, Umar began with a direct message, addressing Cheyenne as doctor. “She says she is. That’s enough for me,” he said of using the title. He then clarified that he has a real doctorate before explaining his credentials. He recapped his brief following of her career, the transcript issue she experienced with the university she attended, and her best-selling book, ‘Live Your Promise.’ He also touched on the media rounds she’s been making, before saying she’s been “the butt of everyone’s joke” for the last two weeks.

“Cheyenne Bryant having or not having a doctorate does nothing to my doctorate. It does nothing to my career, it does nothing to my profession. I don’t have a need to investigate her, I don’t have a need to slander her, to belittle her, to malign her, to assault her. I don’t have no need to do anything against that black woman because she hasn’t hurt anybody. She is a life coach, and you don’t have to be certified, have a doctorate, or have a license to be a life coach. She ain’t misdiagnose nobody, she ain’t done no clinic work without a license. I haven’t seen any wrongdoing from Dr. Cheyenne Bryant.”

Dr. Umar then said that he believes “mostly Black women are attacking her out of jealousy.” Johnson added that women are jealous of Cheyenne Bryant’s look, her life coach career and her podcast success. “They wish they were in her position and because they are not, they are trying to destroy that woman,” Umar said. He later added that Black women’s problems with each other exceeds those of Black men.

“What they are doing to Dr. Cheyenne Bryant is absolutely unacceptable. They are destroying this woman more than Donald Trump…Candace Owens…Erika Kirk…The enemies of African people have not received the type of vitriol that Dr. Cheyenne Bryant is receiving. If y’all want to expose it, expose it and be done with it.”

Umar said he can relate to Bryant because he’s previously had to defend his credentials. Watch the full interview below.

Social Media Sounds Off Over Umar’s Take

In The Shade Room’s Instagram comment section, over 4,200 reactions appeared to be divided. While some roommates seemed to side with Umar, others saw through his stance and called out the singling of Black women. A few others likened Umar and Bryant’s hustle, implying they’re two peas in a pod.

To clarify, Johnson does have a Psy.D. (Doctor of Psychology) degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. However, he is not a licensed clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania. His dissertation can be found HERE.

“If women were jealous, she wouldn’t have gotten to the heights she got to in the first place. People feel deceived and dismissed. Period,” @crecentimaninovell added.

“As a Black woman WITH a doctorate, this absolutely harms US. We are already constantly looked down on, disrespected, and have our credentials questioned when we are in our professional settings. Unfortunately, this will set US back even further. So it is that serious, just because she looks good doesn’t mean that WE won’t be harmed by this & looks won’t save us when our validity is questioned,” @tiaramarlise wrote.

“Destroying her by asking her to show her credentials? Y’all will do anything but hold people accountable. If she cannot show her credentials, she should not be calling herself a doctor,” @victorskyes added.

What’s Going On With Dr. Cheyenne Bryant?

In one week, Cheyenne Bryant twice defended her credentials as a “doctor.” Her press runs were meant to focus on her book, but social media users have instead demanded answers about her qualifications. In a Fox5 DC interview, she defended on her “doctor” title, but flat out refused to provide proof of her doctorate.

“…I’ve earned the title, I have multiple degrees and I’m not going to prove anything to anybody and we’re going to leave it just as that,” told journalist Marissa Mitchell.

Earlier this week, Bryant appeared unbothered in an Instagram video, which she captioned with a message about “miserable people” resenting what they lack.

ABC has ordered a Grey’s Anatomy spinoff set in rural Texas — but how many other follow-up shows have there been?

The medical drama, which premiered in 2005, is focused on the personal and professional lives of surgical interns, residents and attendings at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital a.k.a Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital a.k.a Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Due to the nature of the show, Grey’s Anatomy has become known for its wild twists that often result in cast exits. The show’s success has also paved the way for several spinoffs including Private Practice and Station 19.

In May 2026, news broke that ABC scored a follow-up to Grey’s Anatomy, which will be set in rural West Texas. The upcoming series will be cocreated, written and executive produced by Shonda Rhimes and Grey’s Anatomy showrunner Meg Marinis. Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo is also executive producing the new offshoot, which will premiere midseason 2027.

‘Private Practice’

The initial spinoff, which aired from 2007 to 2013, took place at Seaside Health & Wellness Center and chronicled the life of Kate Walsh’s Dr. Addison Montgomery as she left Seattle Grace Hospital in order to join a private practice.

Unnamed Rural Texas Series

Deadline confirmed in May 2026 that ABC gave a straight-to-series order to the untitled medical drama, which is described as “an edgy drama about a team at a rural West Texas medical center — the last chance for care before miles of nowhere.”

Michelle Pfeiffer is revealing the reality behind the idyllic setting of her hit show The Madison.

The three-time Oscar nominee shot the Paramount+ drama, created by Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan, in rural Montana, which meant getting back to basics.

“There is no bathroom. Even the outhouse is not real. There’s no AC, there’s no plumbing, there isn’t anything,” Pfeiffer, 68, shared in an interview with the Los Angeles Times published on Monday, May 18. “But it is breathtakingly beautiful. It is glorious.”

“It took a while [to adjust],” she said. “It was all a little bit rushed for everyone. So there weren’t certain things, sort of accommodations, set up. We didn’t really have trailers there because they were shooting 360 [degrees], so they couldn’t have a bunch of trailers around. So there really was no place for us to sit.”

Pfeiffer added, “There was no bathroom nearby. There was no food. In the winter, it was cold [and] it was like, ‘Could we have a heater?’ And in the summer, it was like, ‘Could I get an umbrella because the sun’s really intense?’”

In The Madison, Pfeiffer plays Stacy Clyburn, the matriarch of the Clyburn family, who relocate from New York City to Montana in the wake of patriarch Preston Clyburn’s death. The cast includes Kurt Russell, Matthew Fox, Patrick J. Adams, Beau Garrett and more.

Pfeiffer previously revealed she signed on to star in the series before there was even a script.

“I committed to it without even having read anything. It was really just him explaining the scope of the character and kind of the outline of where it was going,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight in March.

Pfeiffer continued, “I said, ‘Well, I’d really love to read something.’ And he said, ‘No, I really like to cast it first and then I write.’ I said, ‘Well, I’d really like to read something and then I commit.’ We went back and forth over a couple of weeks like that, and then I realized I wasn’t going to win this argument and I was either going to have to commit or give it up.”

The Madison’s first season, consisting of six episodes, premiered in March. The show was quietly renewed for a second season, also consisting of six episodes, before it premiered. Season 2 has already filmed, but a premiere date has not yet been announced.

Following the success of season 1 on Paramount+, the network renewed The Madison for a third season in April.

dySister Wives star Kody Brown has a tendency to move from one topic to another, which often has little to do with the subject at hand. In a new social media post, he does this once again when he divulges some info about his siblings harassing him to do something.

Kody Brown Doesn’t See Sister Wives Like Other Polygamy Shows

Kody Brown speaks to a Sister Wives fan who claims polygamy shows are her guilty pleasure. This started Kody on the road to explaining why his TLC series is different from all the rest of the polygamy shows offered today.

He suggests that many of the shows about polygamy are toxic, which is unlike Sister Wives. Then he describes his series as a show about a loving family. Now this newer polygamy documentary series has emerged, which Kody has yet to see. But he believes it follows suit with the rest of the polygamy shows, except for his, of course.

Kody’s Siblings

The name of the new show is Trust Me, and it is billed as a documentary, Trust Me—The False Prophet. Kody said his siblings are harassing him to watch it. He claims he’s heard that this new series demonstrates a “creepy side” to polygamy.

Kody talks about this in a Cameo video that he made for a fan. The Sister Wives star then suggests to this fan that she watch it. It sounds like he believes it will demonstrate the contrast between his show and all the other ones depicting the polygamous lifestyle.

While Kody Brown’s siblings weren’t part of the Brown family series, we got a fleeting glimpse of a couple of his brothers throughout the Sister Wives seasons. And once in a blue moon, he also talked about them on Sister Wives.

Sister Wives: The Other Shows Are Different

Kody suggests his TV show wasn’t about toxic behavior. Instead, it was about the love of an unconventional family. However, he did say he thought his family was fun. And then he added how “it was fun until it was not fun.”

But did he forget how some of his less-than-stellar behavior found its way onto the Sister Wives screen? Not to mention what his three ex-wives had to say about the treatment they endured from their shared hubby.

He now says he chose to do the Sister Wives show because polygamy is seen as very cultlike. Kody said he never saw his church like a cult. He defines a cult as “easy to get into and hard to get out of.”

He says his church was just the opposite. With his church it was hard to get into and “super easy” to get out of. He just “walked away” from his church. So, they were nothing like a cult, Kody declared.

Why Harass Kody to Watch the New Show?

So, why would his siblings want Kody Brown to watch Trust Me? Kody never said why he thought they were riding him to tune in. According to the description offered by Rotten Tomatoes, this documentary is about a cult expert and her videographer husband embedding themselves in one of the groups that make up Utah’s FLDS community.

What they discovered was called “disturbing.” Anyway, when this fan shared her guilty pleasure of watching shows about polygamy, Kody jumped right in with this documentary, suggesting she could watch it. And then shared how his siblings want him to watch it as well.

There’s the headstrong Dorothy (Arthur), her mother Sophia (Getty), the man-hungry Blanche (McClanahan) and practical-minded Rose (White). Together, these broads may butt heads, but they’re always there for one another when it counts.

The Golden Girls is an ultimate feel-good comfort sitcom, with top-to-bottom charismatic performances from the leading ladies and moments that are sure to make you laugh out loud. At the time, the show was groundbreaking for its progressive depiction of older women navigating things like sex, dating and friendship, smashing stereotypes about aging.

The Emmy-winning Taxi chronicles the lives of a group of New York cab drivers, the employees of the Sunshine Cab Company. Largely set in the company’s Manhattan fleet garage, the eclectic characters of Taxi include their overbearing dispatcher Louis (Danny DeVito), struggling actor Bobby (Jeff Conaway), aspiring boxer Tony (Tony Danza), receptionist Elaine and mechanic Latka Gravis (Andy Kaufman). Taxi is still widely regarded as one of the best comedy shows of all time and one of the best shows of all time, period. The show boasts a terrific blend of sharp, character-driven comedy and genuinely tender drama. The memorable performances, including those from Hirsch, DeVito and Christopher Lloyd in particular, have continued to be seen as iconic, in characters that are hilarious, complex and deeply relatable.

The galactic explorations of the crew aboard the USS Enterprise-D take center stage in this second live-action series in the Star Trek franchise. Nearly a century after Captain Kirk (William Shatner) finished his original five-year mission, Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) now carries on Kirk’s legacy as he explores brave new worlds with his eclectic crew, including Commander William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton).

The massive success of Star Trek: The Next Generation brought with it not just an all-new generation of viewers into the Star Trek fandom, but also helped to lay the groundwork for the subsequent spinoff shows that have continued on for the past few decades. It is still frequently considered one of the best TV shows of all time, praised for its well-written, intellectual sci-fi stories and terrific ensemble cast.
