Brittany Cartwright Shares How She Discovered Jax’s Romance
Brittany Cartwright revealed how she discovered that her estranged husband Jax Taylor is dating her former publicist Lori Krebs.
“[Lori] sent me a text message, morning of [the release of photos of her and Jax vacationing in Mexico], two hours before the TMZ photos came out and let me know that things had changed and that she knows I will feel betrayed,” Brittany, 37, told a visibly stunned Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Wednesday, August 5. “[Lori said] she loves me and [Brittany and Jax’s son, Cruz] and she’s never told Jax anything. Come on.”
Us obtained photographs of Jax, 47, and Lori on vacation at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for the Vanderpump Rules alum’s birthday in July. A source speaking exclusively to Us described an intimate scene as Jax and Lori allegedly cuddled in a resort pool.
“They had their arms wrapped around each other and looked very close,” an eyewitness told Us. “It seemed obvious that they were very much together.”
However, a separate source exclusively told Us on Wednesday that the public perception of Lori’s personal and professional ties to both Jax and Brittany is not accurate.
“Lori understands why Brittany feels betrayed. But the narrative that they were still ‘like family’ when this all happened isn’t accurate,” the source told Us. “Brittany and Lori haven’t been close in a very long time. Their relationship had changed significantly. They saw each other only a couple of times in the past year, never spoke outside of work, and Lori’s role had been reduced primarily to coordinating media interviews. She had already been trying to transition away from representing Brittany because she increasingly felt caught in the middle of an extremely difficult situation.”
The source pointed out, “Throughout Jax’s addiction and recovery, Lori supported both of them in different ways. As Jax made progress and focused on rebuilding his life, the professional and personal dynamics shifted. None of that changes the fact that Lori understands Brittany’s hurt, but the picture being painted of their relationship at the time isn’t an accurate one.”
Jax responded to Brittany’s WWHL appearance in the Instagram comment section for the show, accusing his estranged wife of telling “blatant lies.”
During her sitdown with Andy, 58, Brittany opened up about the betrayal she felt over a formerly close confidant dating Jax. (Jax and Brittany separated in February 2024 and initiated divorce proceedings that August. They have yet to reach a settlement.)
Lori’s attorney, Michael Kernan, told People this week that it “is inaccurate to suggest that my client engaged in an unethical dual representation” and that she has not represented Jax “for well over a year.”
Brittany shared her own timeline during her interview with Andy on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday.
“She was still my publicist,” Brittany said. “She was still getting a retainer from me. She was still making 10% of things for me. She was still my friend — family, basically. I had just invited her to a 4th of July cookout at my house.”

She went on, “Now, she’s trying to say we haven’t been friends for a year and a half? … [Lori] was here [at WWHL] the last time I was here, Andy. That was in April. The lies are insane, to try to flip the image and make them look better. It’s never going to look better.”
“I expect it from Jax. I don’t care if Jax dates someone. Move on. Leave me alone,” Brittany added. “It’s what she did! She was my family member, the person I went to whenever I was being abused in that relationship.”
Jax’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has denied Cartwright’s claims of abuse.
Later in the segment, Brittany claimed that her only communication with Jax since the scandal erupted is when he “harasses [her] on our parenting app constantly.”
“He just kinda fights with himself on there,” she joked. “It’s really bad.”
Asked by Andy whether Lori and Jax are still “seeing each other,” Brittany replied, “I guess! He just recently missed his time with his son because he was in Canada [with her].”
Us has reached out to representatives for Lori and Jax for comment.
Earlier on Wednesday, Brittany spoke to People about the “complete, complete betrayal” she felt from someone who was “like a sister to me for 10 years.”
“She knows every in and out of everything in my life and still chose to sleep with the enemy, basically,” Brittany alleged.
Meanwhile, Jax seemingly confirmed his relationship with Lori last week, after a fan suggested that he should be the next Bachelor.
“No thanks I am taken,” he replied to the Instagram commenter.
In light of the controversy, Brittany has publicly received support from former Vanderpump Rules costars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute in recent days.
“I feel so bad for Brittany,” Stassi, 38, shared on the Friday, July 31, episode of the “It Girl” podcast. “I am eating this all up the same way I’m eating up the Summer House drama. It’s so believable because he’s a horrible person, but like, that publicist? I always knew she was bad news. I always knew it. I felt it. … I have really good instincts, I feel like, when it comes to shady people.”
Stassi then joked, “Honestly, I guess [Jax and Lori are] right for each other. I hope they get married and I hope it lasts.”

Jax Taylor Accuses Brittany Cartwright of ‘Blatant Lies’
Jax Taylor is coming out swinging after ex Brittany Cartwright spilled details on their relationship during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
“The amount of blatant lies in this interview is unbelievable,” Jax, 47, commented on an Instagram post shared by WWHL from Brittany’s interview on the Wednesday, August 5, episode of the Bravo talk show.
In the interview, Brittany, 37, alleged that her estranged husband recently missed parenting time with their son, Cruz, 5, because he was in Canada with the couple’s former publicist Lori Krebs, who Jax is now dating.
“I have NEVER missed my scheduled parenting time with Cruz. It’s public record that I have him every Wednesday and on weekends, and I was back in LA yesterday (Tuesday),” Jax wrote.
“Today, you refused to let me have my scheduled time with him because you’re angry over personal matters, and that’s why we have an emergency court hearing tomorrow since you continue to weaponize my son against me,” Jax claimed. “The truth will come out about everything when I finally have the opportunity to speak… and I have the receipts to back up everything I’m saying.”
Us has reached out to Brittany’s management for comment.
On Wednesday’s WWHL, Brittany shared how she found out that her ex is dating their former publicist. (Brittany filed for divorce from the Vanderpump Rules alum in August 2024.)
“[Lori] sent me a text message, morning of [the release of photos of her and Jax vacationing in Mexico], two hours before the TMZ photos came out and let me know that things had changed and that she knows I will feel betrayed,” Brittany said. “[Lori said] she loves me and [Brittany and Jax’s son, Cruz] and she’s never told Jax anything. Come on.”
In July, Us obtained photos of Jax and Lori getting cozy in a pool at the Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
“I’m shaking,” Brittany said in an interview with People published on Wednesday. “I mean, this person was not only my publicist, she was like a sister to me for 10 years. It’s just complete, complete betrayal.”
However, a source told Us on Wednesday, “Lori understands why Brittany feels betrayed. But the narrative that they were still ‘like family’ when this all happened isn’t accurate. Brittany and Lori haven’t been close in a very long time. Their relationship had changed significantly. They saw each other only a couple of times in the past year, never spoke outside of work, and Lori’s role had been reduced primarily to coordinating media interviews. “Throughout Jax’s addiction and recovery, Lori supported both of them in different ways. As Jax made progress and focused on rebuilding his life, the professional and personal dynamics shifted,” the source added. “None of that changes the fact that Lori understands Brittany’s hurt, but the picture being painted of their relationship at the time isn’t an accurate one.”

The Valley’s Most Shocking Reunion Revelations Revealed
The Valley crew is reuniting and ready to talk about the good, bad and downright wild parts of their lives during and in the wake of a drama-filled season 3.
On Wednesday, August 5, Bravo kicked off a three-part reunion special where Andy Cohen brought cast members Danny Booko, Nia Sanchez, Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Brittany Cartwright, Jasmine Goode, Jesse Lally, Michelle Saniei, Zack Wickham, Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz together again.
Right off the bat, Andy explored a variety of topics with the cast, including Brittany’s ongoing relationship with estranged husband Jax Taylor.
“I think he is sober,” she claimed, “but that doesn’t change someone’s personality.”
Keep reading to see all the revelations from the season 3 reunion and watch The Valley on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
Michelle Saniei Stays Mum on Dr. Dre Romance

Michelle Saniei Trae Patton/Bravo
After Michelle was spotted holding hands with legendary rapper Dr. Dre in Malibu earlier this year, Andy tried to get the realtor to dish on the details of her private romance.
“I don’t really want to get into it,” she said before denying ex-husband Jesse’s claim that she signed an NDA. “I’m just protecting what we have right now. It’s new, and we’re getting to know each other. We met through a mutual friend. I’m just having fun and living my life”
When asked to share his reaction to the coupling, Jesse thought it was initially “funny.”
“Everyone thought it was AI at the beginning,” he said. “For me, we are now officially divorced. She is her own person. She can do whatever she wants.”
Jesse Lally Details His Falling Out With Jax Taylor
When Jax stepped away from The Valley ahead of season 3 to focus on his ongoing sobriety journey and mental health, much of the cast kept their distance from the former Vanderpump Rules star.
Jesse, however, tried to keep his friendship with Jax off camera — until things took a turn.
“We had a bit of a falling out after BravoCon. He came after me pretty aggressively by text message about an interview [my girlfriend] Lacy and I had done on a red carpet for an addiction charity,” Jesse claimed. “He reacted without watching the interview. It really bothered me, and I finally told him two days ago on the phone.”
Brittany made it clear that Jax is untrustworthy when she reminded the cast, “He’s said horrible things about every single person on this stage — even Tom.”
Brittany Cartwright’s Divorce Status With Jax Taylor

Brittany Cartwright Trae Patton/Bravo
Nearly two years after filing for divorce from Jax, Brittany said she is still not officially split from her ex. As a result, her estranged husband’s name is still on the house.
“I pay for everything,” Brittany said of the pair’s finances, before claiming she is still paying off Jax’s $1.2 million tax debt. “I am paying his loan that he took out for his taxes against the house.”
Brittany Cartwright’s Relationship Status With Ex Brandon Hanson
During season 3 of The Valley, viewers met Brittany’s brief fling, who tried to help her recover following her mommy makeover. Although the pair broke up during filming, Brittany said Brandon reached out when his episodes aired.
When asked how much money she gave him during the relationship, Brittany was hesitant to give an exact number.
“I don’t even want to say. It’s so embarrassing,” she said. “It might have been less than $10[K], but it was less than $5[K]. It was in between.”
Brittany Cartwright Meeting With a ‘Narcissistic Abuse Coach’
Following her public breakups, Brittany revealed she is taking steps to try and avoid being lovebombed.
“There is not a doubt in my mind [that my picker is off],” she told the cast. “You guys would be proud of me. I’ve been talking to a narcissistic abuse coach. I feel like that’s really going to help me, but I see the best in everybody. What sucks is I don’t want to change that part of myself, but I have to set bigger boundaries.”
Zack expressed his feelings that Brittany may be over Jax, but she is not “over that situation and that trauma and that hurt.”

Kyle Richards Shares Her Hopes for ‘RHOBH’ Season 16
Kyle Richards is set to appear on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” as one of the seven main cast members. Now, ahead of its premiere, the actress and reality star is sharing her hopes for season 16 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Her comments came roughly a day before cast member Amanda Frances announced her exit.

Bravo hosted the premiere event for “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” in New York City on August 4. While on the red carpet, Richards spoke to Us Weekly, with the reporter asking the 57-year-old what she was “hopeful for” regarding the upcoming “RHOBH” season. Notably, as of writing, none of the cast is confirmed to be returning.
She first joked, “My boss is right behind me; ask her.” Richards then discussed Dorit Kemsley, saying, “What would I be hopeful for? I would say, if I’m coming back, let’s just say that part first; I would repair things with Dorit. I would like to be able to put that behind us and start over.”
The “RHOBH” star went on to say that she’d like to “get things off [her] mind.”
Kyle Says There Have Been No ‘Strides’ In Repairing Her Friendship With Dorit

The reporter continued the conversation with Richards by inquiring if there had been any “strides” in repairing their relationship during the “off season” from the show. She responded, “No.” After that, the mom of four stated that she had communicated with Kemsley on one occasion.
According to Richards, “I did reach out to her about her book to congratulate her, but other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything.” She was then asked if this was “upsetting,” responding, “It’s sad to me because I did care about her and I do care about her and her family, and I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been much better off leaning on each other.”
Regarding Richards’ mention of the book, Kemsley released her memoir, “Unburdened,” on June 2, with it later becoming a New York Times Bestseller.
The ‘RHOBH’ Star Previously Shared That She Had Texted Dorit Kemsley
Richards hosted an Amazon Live session in late June 2026. During the stream, a fan asked the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star if she’d been in touch with Kemsley following the release of her book.
She said, “I actually texted her. I didn’t speak with her, actually, but I texted her because even though we’re not speaking right now and we had such a hard time these last two seasons, I really want her to succeed and do well.”
Richards then mentioned the immediate success of “Unburdened,” saying, “I was happy to see that, you know, her book came out, and it was doing well, so I did send her a text.”
She went on to confirm that Kemsley responded to the text before saying, “You know, baby steps. Baby steps,” regarding a possible reconciliation.
‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Cast Is Expected To Begin Filming Soon Following Amanda Frances’ Exit

Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” concluded in May 2026. Now, several months later, the only confirmed news for season 16 is that Frances, who joined the show for the most recent installment, will not be returning.
She confirmed the news on August 5 with a lengthy social media statement. She said, in part, “My time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is complete,” before calling her decision to do the show one of her “boldest,” wildest,” and “most clarifying” of her life.
Because of the confirmed exit, many believe Bravo may have its “RHOBH” cast in place despite the lack of an announcement. Notably, actress and “RHOBH” friend of Jennifer Tilly seemingly confirmed her return with her reply to Frances’ exit. She wrote, “Amanda, good luck on your journey going forward. I can’t wait to read your new book! You are so funny and sweet and smart. We will miss you.”
‘Ultimate Girls Trip’ Premieres On August 9

Richards will appear alongside Vicki Gunvalson, Luann de Lesseps, Porsha Williams, Teresa Giudice, Gizelle Bryant, and Lisa Barlow in Bravo’s “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.” The series, which was first announced at BravoCon 2025, celebrates 20 years of the franchise.
In additon to the seven main cast members, the upcoming limited series will feature stops at most of the “Housewives” cities and include appearances from close to 100 current and former stars of the various shows.

Netflix’s 8-Part Thriller Based on a Bestselling Novel Is the Perfect Weekend Binge
Not every thriller needs to reinvent the genre; sometimes all it needs to do is keep you glued to the couch, which is exactly what The Hunting Wives accomplishes. Based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel, the eight-episode series wastes little time pulling viewers into a world where wealth, political ambition, illicit affairs, and murder all collide in spectacularly messy fashion. It’s part Southern Gothic, part erotic thriller, and part soapy murder mystery, wrapped in the kind of addictive storytelling that makes “just one more episode” already be a broken promise.
What makes The Hunting Wives such an easy recommendation is that it understands exactly what kind of show it wants to be. Every secret uncovers another, and every relationship is more complicated than it first appears; by the time Maple Brook’s carefully polished image starts to crack, it’s almost impossible to stop watching.
‘The Hunting Wives’ Knows Exactly How To Pull You Into Its World
Brittany Snow stars as Sophie O’Neil, who relocates from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to the wealthy East Texas town of Maple Brook after her husband Graham (Evan Jonigkeit) accepts a job with powerful oil executive Jed Banks (Dermot Mulroney). The move is supposed to offer a fresh start, but Sophie already carries plenty of baggage, including a traumatic incident from her past that’s left her hesitant to drink or even drive.
Maple Brook isn’t exactly welcoming, either. Sophie’s introduction to the town comes at an NRA fundraiser hosted by Jed, where she meets his wife, Margo Banks (Malin Akerman), the glamorous queen bee of an exclusive group known as the Hunting Wives. Their social calendar revolves around skeet shooting, expensive whiskey, lavish parties, and maintaining spotless public reputations, but it quickly becomes clear that almost everyone is hiding something. Before long, Sophie’s fascination with Margo turns into an obsession that pulls her deeper into the group’s orbit just as a local teenager’s murder throws the entire community into chaos.
Malin Akerman Gives the Show Its Most Addictive Performance
Akerman brings a sense of self-assurance to the role of Margo, making her a captivating presence. She is flirtatious without being too much of a cliché, devious without appearing too over-the-top, and seems to possess more knowledge than those around her. Even while Margo’s decision-making is questionable, Akerman portrays her in a manner that makes it easy to see why Sophie — and almost everyone in the vicinity — is drawn to her.
Snow gives Margo the perfect counterpart. At the beginning of the series, Sophie is put in a position where she does not fit in at all, and Snow gives her character this feeling of discomfort without making Sophie passive. The series successfully shows Sophie’s process of shifting from being careful to becoming curious, which serves as the show’s emotional center, while her relationship with Margo grows more complicated with each episode.
Their chemistry is what makes the show more interesting and unique. The murder investigation may drive the plot, but it’s the push and pull between these two women that keeps the emotional stakes rising.
The Murder Mystery Is Only Half the Fun
Many thrillers promise their viewers some big surprises, but The Hunting Wives accomplishes the promise in a unique fashion by turning almost every character into a reasonable suspect. As the story continues to unfold, fresh information emerges. Certain family secrets are revealed, political ambitions intertwine with people’s feelings, and events of the past come to life again. Every time the viewers think they are used to something, the story surprises them again.
What makes such unpredictability effective is the fact that the show never loses its own character. It uses its soapy side and doesn’t try to offer any excuses for that. It injects emotion into the show’s detective plot, creating a blend of realism, drama, humor, and, of course, romance. The way the events unfold in the show proves effective. With only eight episodes, there isn’t much of a space for useless and wasted episodes. Each episode moves the story forward while revealing another fact about the so-called perfection of Maple Brook.
Another notable feature of the series is its recognition that melodrama is not a weak point. The plot uses emotions and not ordinary relationships, making the story captivating and interesting to watch.
Not every weekend binge needs to be the next prestige phenomenon. Sometimes you just want a thriller that’s stylish, twisty, and impossible to quit. The Hunting Wives delivers exactly that, and by the time the credits roll on the first episode, don’t be surprised if you’ve already committed to watching the other seven.

Netflix’s 3-Part Spy Thriller Is the Perfect Binge Before Michael B. Jordan’s ‘Thomas Crown Affair’
Few genres are as inherently exciting as the heist caper, which might be why another version of The Thomas Crown Affair is set to release next year. Even though there have been two previous iterations of the art-robbery adventure story, every generation deserves its version of The Thomas Crown Affair because of its razor-sharp premise. The notion of a “gentleman burglar” who steals from the rich to serve the public has been iterated upon countless times in different forms of media, but the most famous might be Arsène Lupin, the fictional master of disguise created by the French author Maurice Leblanc in 1905. The original stories have been adapted into and inspired various projects, but Netflix’s international crime series Lupin is a clever reimagining of the classic character that features a star-making turn from Omar Sy.
Lupin is set in the modern day, and acknowledges all the existing facts that are known about both Leblanc and his characters. Sy stars as the professional thief Assane Diop, an immigrant from Senegal who moved with his father Babakar (Fargass Assandé) to France when he was a child. A love of the Lupin stories is what brought father and son closer together, but Babakar was falsely accused of stealing a valuable necklace, which forced Assane to fend for himself without a stable home. The tragic backstory is necessary for making Assane into a charismatic hero who has something worth fighting for; while it is exciting to see the extravagant means that he takes in order to get away with some of the most ingenious heists imaginable, Lupin is ultimately the story of justice and redemption.
‘Lupin’ Is a Revisionist Take on a Classic Character
Lupin is a cleverly constructed narrative because the series plays out like a con, offering only clues about how Assane pulls off his heists. While this might seem like a straightforward trick in caper films, it’s much harder to sustain over the course of entire television seasons. Lupin reveals just enough about Assane’s strategies for it to be believable for him to pull off his plans, but doesn’t make the mistake of revealing too much in a way that would lessen the impact of seeing them play out. It helps that there is substance between the set pieces thanks to Assane’s complex relationship with his wife, Claire (Ludivine Sagnier), who has full custody of their son, Raoul (Etan Simon). The focus on broken families offers the perfect setup to explore more of Assane’s backstory, as the flashbacks featuring his father provide important emotional context for why he chose a path of thievery.
Lupin is just grounded enough for the international espionage and adventure to feel exciting, but there is an aura of old-fashioned mischief and snark that is rare on streaming. The show also feels unabashedly massive in scale, but not because it commands a huge budget; there is an art to how Lupin utilizes the architecture of its locations, with a particular celebration of Paris and its vast cultural history. Credit is due to Louis Leterrier, a veteran French filmmaker behind several blockbusters, who helmed many of the most pivotal episodes of the show, including the electrifying pilot. Having someone used to operating in a cinematic medium helped set an aesthetic tone for Lupin that makes it unique within the streaming landscape, as it has a signature personality that doesn’t feel algorithmic. The series has even been able to acknowledge its success as a sleeper hit, given that Part 3 focuses on the challenges that Assane faces after becoming a celebrity.
‘Lupin’ Is the Perfect Binge Watch
Lupin avoids being derivative because the show matures and escalates the stakes as it goes along. The first installment of the show has a whimsical yet poignantly light-hearted tone with only occasional dips into melancholy, but it concludes with an exciting cliffhanger that sets up Part 2. Since the first two parts essentially follow a continuous storyline, Part 3 takes a major step forward in examining Assane’s past and future when his allies are put in real danger as a result of his actions. Even though Lupin pays tribute to the classical works of literature that inspired it, the show does not feel restrained by the past. Some of its strongest notes involve the institutional oppression that Assane faces due to racism, classism, and xenophobia, and his perseverance is part of what makes him such an inspiring hero.
Lupin is the rare show that is as narratively exhilarating as it is emotionally satisfying because it takes joy in its twists and turns without forgetting that there is a reason to care. In an era when streaming shows can become very bloated, the fact that each season of Lupin is relatively short makes each feel like a true event with no moment wasted. It’s become less common in the contemporary television ecosystem for a show to span more than three seasons, but Lupin warrants continuation because of the ample possibilities for escapism, intrigue, and innovative set pieces. Assane is a character who uses charisma to mask his sneaky ambitions, and the same description can be applied to Lupin as a series.

Robert Pattinson Takes Down Predators in Intense First Trailer for New Crime Thriller
Would somebody get these perverts out of here?! Robert Pattinson may be charming audiences with the greasiest, most craven performance of his career to date in Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey, but he’s about to take on one of the most memed and notorious individuals in television history, and he’s about to invite you to take a seat.
In a career full of unusual roles, this one might be the most unusual yet, because A24 has just released the latest trailer for Primetime, in which Pattinson is playing the role of Chris Hansen, the longtime host of NBC’s controversial investigative series To Catch a Predator, as the film explores the blurred line between justice, entertainment and spectacle.
Directed by Lance Oppenheim, making the jump from documentaries to feature films for the first time, Primetime is a retelling of the cultural phenomenon that was To Catch a Predator, the massively successful series that lured suspected online predators into televised sting operations before Hansen confronted them on camera. Of course, you’ll have seen the memes of Hansen leaning to the side, as he instructs you to take a seat. That’s when you know something breached the pop culture bubble.
The movie follows Hansen during the height of the show’s popularity as it transitions from something that was a ratings success into a far more complex situation, because the argument begins that it starts to cross a line between public service and tabloid sensationalism, and asking how far exactly television and its producers are willing to go in pursuit of the next big headline or story.
Pattinson is joined by an impressive cast led by Merritt Wever (Severance), Skyler Gisondo (Superman), Anna Faris (Scary Movie), and musician Phoebe Bridgers. The screenplay comes from Ajon Singh, while Pattinson also serves as a producer alongside Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen through Square Peg.
What Else Is Robert Pattinson Making?
It’s been a huge year for Pattinson, already. He kicked it off in The Drama, alongside Zendaya, in what proved to be a massive commercial success for a dark comedy. He then jumped into The Odyssey, alongside Zendaya. Later this year, he’ll appear in Dune: Part Three, alongside Zendaya.
Lastly, he’s set to appear in Here Comes the Flood alongside Zen- oops, Denzel Washington. The acclaimed Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles is behind the camera for that one. Lastly, he’s currently shooting The Batman Part II in the UK.
A24 will release Primetime in theaters nationwide September 25, 2026.

Russell Dickerson Has Strong Feelings About The Perfect S’more
Russell Dickerson may thrive beneath the bright lights and booming speakers of a concert stage, but when the country singer returns home, he craves something much quieter. Ahead of National S’mores Day on August 10, Dickerson partnered with Hershey’s to encourage families to reconnect over one of summer’s most familiar traditions.
For the country star, however, gathering around a fire and making s’mores is more than a seasonal activity. It is a chance to shut out the noise, spend time with his family, and revisit memories stretching back to childhood. During an exclusive conversation with The Blast, Dickerson revealed why the partnership felt like a natural fit and settled the heated debate over the perfect marshmallow.

When asked where his mind goes when he thinks about s’mores, Dickerson initially pointed to a beloved coming-of-age movie. “I think my favorite is watching ‘The Sandlot.’” he told The Blast. “It’s like the most iconic creation of a s’more for America.”
The movie holds even more meaning for the singer now that he can introduce it to his own family. “This is the first summer that I’ve played that movie for my kids,” Dickerson shared.
Beyond the memorable scene from “The Sandlot,” s’mores remind Dickerson of his own experiences outdoors. The “Yours” singer has always enjoyed camping, particularly because it allows him to disconnect from the demands of everyday life. “I love camping. I love shutting out the world and sitting around a fire, and those moments go hand in hand with a s’more,” he explained.
That strong association made partnering with Hershey’s an easy decision for the country star. “There are opportunities everywhere to do this thing or that thing, but when it was Hershey’s, it was like, hell yeah,” Dickerson said.
One Bite Can Take The Country Singer Back In Time

As part of the National S’mores Day campaign, Hershey’s is highlighting how the simple act of making s’mores can bridge generations, revive old memories, and help families create new ones. Dickerson understands that feeling firsthand. For him, the combination of a roasted marshmallow, graham crackers, and Hershey’s milk chocolate can instantly bring back memories of previous nights spent around a fire.
“Sitting around a fire with my family, roasting a mallow, putting it on some melty Hershey’s chocolate between two grahams, it’s just like, that is a memory,” he explained. “Just a bite just takes you to a million all of those beautiful memories that you have around a fire.”
While his career frequently takes him away from home, the ritual gives Dickerson a familiar way to reconnect with his family whenever he returns. It does not require an elaborate vacation or carefully planned event. All he needs is a fire, a few ingredients, and the people closest to him.
Russell Dickerson Finds Peace Around His Family’s Fireplace

Dickerson’s appreciation for gathering around a fire is not limited to camping trips. The singer revealed that his family has a massive fireplace at the top of the hill where they live. Its location provides an ideal place to slow down and watch the day come to an end. “At the upper part of our hill, we have this massive fireplace, and you can look out and watch the sunset,” he told The Blast.
That peaceful setting offers a sharp contrast to his life on tour. Between traveling, performing, and spending countless hours surrounded by machinery and crowds, Dickerson rarely encounters complete quiet while he is on the road. “On the road, there’s always noise and the highway and your generators and tires and obviously the concert and music, and there’s just always so much stimulation going on,” he explained.
Once he gets home, sitting beside the fire provides the reset he needs. “I think that’s why this partnership is so perfect, because my need in life is to get home and get around a fire,” Dickerson admitted. “And, of course, that’s where the s’mores happen.”
The Singer Declares Himself A Member Of Camp Gooey

Of course, no conversation about s’mores would be complete without addressing one of the snack’s biggest debates: Is the ideal marshmallow gently toasted on the outside or completely melted on the inside?
Hershey’s is inviting fans to join the “Heated Debate” by declaring themselves members of Camp Toasty or Camp Gooey. Dickerson did not hesitate to choose his side. “I’m gonna have to stick with Gooey,” he declared.
He even compared the roasting process to slowly cooking barbecue. “It’s like a brisket, you know, it’s like a smoked rib. It’s got to sit there,” Dickerson explained. “I want it to be molten all the way through.”
Russell Dickerson Explains Why The Messier The S’more, The Better

The country singer’s goal is to get the marshmallow hot enough that it melts directly into the chocolate, even if the finished product becomes slightly difficult to contain. “When it hits that Hershey’s chocolate, it just runs into lava,” he said. “You have to just eat it so fast because it’s just melting all over. That is why I’m Team Gooey.”
Whether families prefer a lightly browned marshmallow or Dickerson’s molten approach, the singer believes the real value comes from slowing down, gathering together, and creating the kinds of memories that can return with a single bite.

Is Sterling Point Based on a Book? Show’s Location Explained
Sterling Point is Prime Video’s newest YA show that feels like a story straight off BookTok — but is it actually a book adaptation?
The show, which is streaming now, follows Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin), whose life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. This leads to new friends, a love triangle and shocking family secrets being exposed — including a secret sister (played by Amélie Hoeferle).
Sterling Point isn’t based on any prior source material. Instead, it hails from creator Megan Park, who had her own coming-of-age journey after getting her start as an actress on then-ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
“I just didn’t always feel when I was in many different projects — not specifically The Secret Life of the American Teenager — it didn’t feel authentic to how I was actually experiencing my young adulthood or seeing my peers experience theirs or talking about things or in a way that felt really natural,” Park, 40, exclusively told Us.
Making the move to writing and directing with 2021’s school shooting survivor drama The Fallout and 2024’s genre-bending comedy My Old Ass allowed Park to tell a different kind of story.
“I definitely did not know this was going to be the path for me,” she added. “I definitely feel like I am trying to create a more authentic experience for the YA [young adult] space and genre — and also just for the actors.”

While a portion of the show was produced in Toronto, most of the show involved filming in the Muskoka Lakes region.
In addition to Rubin and Hoeferle, Sterling Point hinges on an ensemble cast of Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Keen Ruffalo, Bo Bragason, Daniel Quinn-Toye and more. There are also the adults — played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jay Duplass, Missi Pyle and Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers.
For Park, the goal is to expand the universe with more seasons.
“It would be so thrilling and such a gift if we got to do more. It was so shocking how different it was to film a show,” she shared. “A movie is an hour and a half and it’s a much shorter period of time that you have to make it and put it out into the world. It’s eight hours of something. So it was a lot of work and it’s been a long process.”
Park continued: “I wouldn’t say it almost killed me but it definitely aged me 10 to 20 years. It was also really rewarding though because within an hour and a half, you can only go so deep and you can only explore so much and talk about so much. When you have eight hours, you have a much bigger world and so many more characters. So it was really creatively rewarding in that sense. But I’m not going to lie, it’s a lot of work making a TV show.”
Sterling Point is streaming now on Prime Video.
