Forget ‘The Ten Commandments,’ This Forgotten Biblical Trilogy Deserves Another Look
We may know Cecil B. DeMille best for his final film, The Ten Commandments, but did you know that Hollywood legend Cecil B. DeMille made a trilogy of biblical epics back in the day? At the point where the silent era was fading out and “talkies” were becoming popular, DeMille made three historical/religious epics that chronicled the Old Testament, New Testament, and early Church eras. Yet, it was only the final picture in this unofficial string of thematic material that utilized sound, the highly underrated and all-around provocative The Sign of the Cross. If you’ve never heard of this 1932 Old Hollywood epic, it’s a pre-Code extravaganza well worth entertaining.
‘Sign of the Cross’ Was a First Century Epic of Romance and Faith
As the third entry in his biblical epic trilogy, The Sign of the Cross is unique in that it was not based on any tale pulled from the holy scriptures. Rather, it was based on a 1895 play penned by English playwright Wilson Barrett, which DeMille had previously seen. (Interestingly, The Sign of the Cross first hit the stage in March 1895, two days after the remarkably similar serial novel, Quo Vadis, was published by Polish author Henryk Sienkiewicz. Quo Vadis would likewise be adapted.) Although The Sign of the Cross had been adapted as a 10-minute silent short in 1904 and as a 70-minute silent drama in 1914, DeMille’s 1932 remake was the most earnest adaptation of Barrett’s material. Here, the director moves beyond strict biblical fiction into historical fiction to round out his religious drama, embracing his ability to craft a larger-than-life visual spectacle that rivals even his later works. While some of the costuming was reused from previous pictures, The Sign of the Cross is quite visually stimulating.
Set several decades after Christ, the picture highlights early Christian persecution at the hands of Roman Emperor Nero (Charles Laughton) in the mid-first-century following the Great Fire of Rome in A.D. 64. More specifically, it follows the fictional Roman prefect Marcus Superbus (Fredric March), who falls for a young Christian woman named Mercia (Elissa Landi) just as Nero orders him to round up and capture all the Christians in the city. While Marcus wishes to show mercy to the new religious sect, he must keep up his Roman appearances and way of life — a way of life that keeps him and the faithful Mercia apart. The Sign of the Cross meditates on Marcus’ inability to believe in anything beyond himself, making his complete infatuation with this young Christian woman all the more brilliant and torturous. Likewise, there is a strong juxtaposition displayed here between the Christian ideals of virtue and sacrifice with Rome’s hedonistic and violent ways. This tension is what helps make The Sign of the Cross such a beautiful film.
Of course, The Sign of the Cross was also quite controversial in its day. As DeMille was known to do, the 1932 picture displays both the decadence and delinquency of Roman society, in the form of the “wicked” Empress Poppaea (Claudette Colbert). While March and Landi play Marcus and Mercia flawlessly, Colbert’s performance as Poppaea is seductively invasive. Jealous for Marcus’ affections and unashamedly lustful in her dealings, she sets her sights on Mercia as a romantic rival and finds herself at terrible odds with the doomed couple. Indeed, through characters like Poppaea and the film’s infamous Colosseum sequence, The Sign of the Cross leans into its pre-Code-era ability to revel in its depiction of ancient Rome’s decadence, showing nude women stalked by wild animals or Ancaria’s (Joyzelle Joyner) incredibly sensual dance sequence as she attempts to seduce Mercia away from her convictions. Yet, these moments of sin and seduction are contrasted marvelously with notions of faith and conviction on the part of Mercia and her fellow believers.
DeMille Rounded Out His Trilogy of Biblical Epics with This 1932 Picture
As one of the greatest filmmakers of the 20th century, DeMille was a true pioneer during the silent and early sound eras. His 1934 film, Cleopatra, was a Best Picture delight at the Oscars, and The Ten Commandments would stun both audiences and critics in 1956, concluding his work in the pictures and solidifying himself as one of the most important names in film history. (This isn’t to mention films like The Greatest Show on Earth, Samson and Delilah, and Union Pacific.) But long before working with Charlton Heston, DeMille’s unofficial biblical epic trilogy chronicled the transition from silent to sound. The Sign of the Cross was only the final entry in this series of religious epics, and the only “talkie” installment. But don’t let that dissuade you from giving his other two installments a try.
The trilogy begins, interestingly enough, with his first attempt at The Ten Commandments in 1923. Yes, his 1956 film is technically a remake of his own material, which arguably makes it even more impressive. Yet, this silent take on the Exodus story is just as engaging, especially as a blueprint from which he would later expand and improve upon. Three years later, DeMille looked to the New Testament for The King of Kings in 1927, deciding that the story of Jesus Christ was the best way to follow up that of Moses. Audiences and critics praised his tender and reverent take on Christ. It was only five years after that he tackled The Sign of the Cross, establishing the religious epic foundation he would need to revisit this historical era later on in his career. Not only did all three of these public domain films help invent the biblical epic as it would later be known and perfected, but they were the foundation for DeMille’s greatest picture ever — and one of Old Hollywood’s absolute best.

5 Best Netflix Movies of 2026 So Far, Ranked: The Rip and More
2026 has been a great year for theatrical movies, with films as varied as Project Hail Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Obsession breaking box-office records and receiving widespread critical acclaim.
It’s been a good year for Netflix, too, as the streamer has released a steady stream of high-quality films that make it worth subscribing to – at least until the next price hike.
Watch With Us loves making “best of” lists, and it’s around this time that we rank the best Netflix movies of 2026 so far.
From January’s intense action flick The Rip with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck to May’s quiet drama Remarkably Bright Creatures with Sally Field, these movies made a lasting impression on us and deserve to be watched by as many people as possible.
5. ‘Apex’

Taron Egerton as Ben and Charlize Theron as Sasha in Apex. Kane Skennar/Netflix © 2026
Still mourning the loss of her husband, Sasha (Charlize Theron) travels to Australia for two weeks of rock climbing, kayaking in rough rivers and camping in the wilderness. She gets to do all those things, but not in the way she imagined when she runs into Ben (Taron Egerton), a seemingly nice guy who really wants to hunt and kill her for sport. Sasha doesn’t want to die, but she’s at a disadvantage in a land Ben knows all too well. It’s a fight to the death between Ben and Sasha, and only one of them will emerge victorious.
Apex is an effective survival thriller that blends elements of The River Wild with Meryl Streep and The Silence of the Lambs with Anthony Hopkins‘ charismatic cannibal, Hannibal Lecter. Ben isn’t just a deranged hunter – he’s also a deranged serial killer who likes to eat his victims. Theron’s already proven herself in the action genre, and her genre is another fierce yet flawed heroine who isn’t going to go quietly into that good night.
4. ‘Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere’

Ed Matthews, Louis Theroux in Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere. Netflix
I’m a sucker for “how did we get here” documentaries, and Inside the Manosphere provides some juicy insight into a subculture that made Andrew Tate and Clavicular household names. The British journalist Louis Theroux spends the bulk of the documentary’s 90-minute runtime interviewing key figures in the alpha male movement, like Harrison Sullivan (better known as HSTikkyTokky) and Justin Waller, to find out what makes these guys tick.
The answer isn’t a surprise – it’s money. None of these really believe the toxic ideologies they’re selling; they just know they can sell them to a young male audience squeezed out by the economy and raised on a digital diet of easy-to-access porn. Inside the Manosphere deals with serious issues, but it often feels like an extended episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Theroux can’t quite believe these guys act the way they do, and when he holds a mirror to his subjects, the reflection isn’t pretty – it’s hysterical. No documentary this year has captured its subjects so truthfully, and it’s that honesty that makes Inside the Manosphere a social comedy worthy of Larry David.
3. ‘Thrash’

Phoebe Dynevor in Thrash. Netflix
Thrash slams together a natural disaster epic and a shark thriller into one fun little B-movie. When a Category 5 hurricane renders most of a small South Carolina town underwater, the survivors are forced to find dry land wherever they can. Pregnant Lisa (Phoebe Dynevor) can’t – she’s trapped in her car and can’t get out. To make matters worse, all that water lets a few hungry sharks roam the town’s flooded streets – and Lisa’s next on the menu.
The premise is juicy enough, but the execution is even better. Director Tommy Wirkola knows how to stage a decent action scene, and he generates ample suspense when the sharks start invading people’s homes looking for their next meal. Jaws this ain’t, but Thrash joins 2019’s Crawl in the modern instant trash classic hall of fame.
2. ‘Remarkably Bright Creatures’

Lewis Pullman and Sally Field in Remarkably Bright Creatures. Netflix
Octogenarian aquarium worker Tova (Sally Field) doesn’t expect much out of life, so it’s a surprise to even her that she worms so quickly to drifter Cameron (Lewis Pullman), who is young enough to be her grandson. They’re both lost souls looking for friendship and a little closure. By working together, they eventually find a way to confront some painful trauma from their pasts.
There’s nothing revolutionary about Remarkably Bright Creatures; it’s a simple picture about simple people who can’t quite get over the pain they feel resulting from the absence of a loved one. But it has a quiet grace few modern movies lack, and it gives Field another complicated woman for her to bring to life. Plus, any film with an omniscient orange octopus has to be good, right?
1. ‘The Rip’

Scott Adkins, Ben Affleck, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Teyana Taylor and Daisuke Tsuji in The Rip Claire Folger/Netflix © 2025.
When Miami cop Dane Dumars (Matt Damon) receives a tip about a stash of illegal money hidden in a suburban house, he doesn’t expect it to be $20 million. That’s a lot of cash to hand over to someone else, and he’s tempted to take some for himself. But he’s not alone, and the rest of his team, including fellow police officer JD Byrne (Ben Affleck), are suspicious of Dumars – and each other. With a lot of cash and their careers on the line, can these cops trust each other?
The Rip is one of those Netflix films you wish had been released in movie theaters. Directed by Joe Carnahan, it has the look and feel of classic cops-and-robbers action thrillers like Miami Blues and Heat. The film’s plot is a little tricky, but it all makes sense – you know who is double-crossing whom and why. The large cast, which also includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor and Kyle Chandler, is on-point – you buy them as cops who might want to break their own laws to shore up their non-existent retirement accounts. Quentin Tarantino recently cited The Rip as one of the few movies he’s enjoyed in the post-COVID era, which is all the praise a film like this needs.

Ariana Grande Changes Lyrics About Ex Ricky Alvarez
Ariana Grande gave a sweet shoutout to ex Ricky Alvarez during her Eternal Sunshine Tour stop in Austin, Texas, changing the lyrics to one of her hit tracks.
Instead of singing, “Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh,” Grande, 33, belted out, “Wrote some songs about Ricky, know he still got my back,” while performing “Thank U, Next” on Friday, June 26.
Alvarez, for his part, was in the VIP audience on Friday during the performance. He was seen smiling as Grande swapped the lyrics, per a video captured by a fan.
Grande and Alvarez, 33, were first romantically linked in 2015 before parting ways the following year. In 2018, Grande dropped her “Thank U, Next” track, referencing many of her former flames including Alvarez, Big Sean, Pete Davidson and the late Mac Miller. (Miller died in 2018 of an accidental overdose. He was 26.)
While talking about her Thank U, Next album in 2019, Grande shared Alvarez’s reaction to being featured in the song.
“Ricky loved it. He was proud. But Ricky was like, ‘Why did I get the worst line?’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He was like, ‘Everyone else’s line is so nice and mine is like, Man f*** him, he’s trash.’ I was like I could have said that,” Grande recalled during her appearance on the Zach Sang Show at the time.
She continued, “I could have said, ‘Wrote some songs about Ricky, never mind he’s trash.’ I was like, ‘I could have said that, but I didn’t.’ I said, ‘Now I listen and laugh.’ Because it didn’t work out.”
Grande, for her part, has most recently been linked to Wicked costar Ethan Slater. After meeting on set of the Blockbuster hit in 2023, the twosome began dating before news broke earlier this month that the pair called it quits.
“It’s amicable. They gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways,” a source told Us Weekly about their split. “They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months.”
The insider shared that Grande “is doing great” and has been “focused” on her Eternal Sunshine Tour and “upcoming new album,” Petal.
A separate source told Us that Grande and Slater had been “spending more time apart than usual” after their press tour for Wicked: For Good.
“They both agreed they wanted different things and had been working through what the future holds together,” the insider shared, noting that there is still admiration between the exes. “They both care about each other and hoped things would work out.”

Jeff Bridges Won’t Stop Praising AI, And It’s Bumming Us All Out
By Chris Snellgrove
| Published

Most of the time, I don’t care too much about celebrity gossip. Life’s too short for me to worry about what musician wore an oh-so-wacky dress to the Met Gala or the crazy thing a movie star blurted out on the red carpet. Every now and then, though, a celebrity I really respect says something so incredibly dumb that it forever changes my view of them. Recently, this happened with one of Hollywood’s most beloved movie stars, Jeff Bridges. On Theo Von’s podcast, the Big Lebowski star just couldn’t stop talking about how cool the AI music platform Suno is.
If you don’t already know, Suno is an app that allows you to generate relatively polished music with very little effort. You can plug in custom lyrics and micromanage things like musical styles and breaks, or you can just feed it a basic prompt and let it go to town. Of course, like all AI, the app is built on stolen content; in this case, songs whose data was stolen from actual musical artists. While it would be depressing to hear any celebrity championing such technology, it’s that much more painful hearing it from Bridges, whose Big Lebowski character remains the ultimate counterculture hero in cinema.
Boomer Discovers AI
Recently, Jeff Bridges appeared on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast. There, he introduced Von to Suno, and he started out with what sounded like words of warning: “AI is, it’s frightening, man,” he said. “It’s very frightening.” Had he stopped there, all of his fans would be cheering his (admittedly very obvious) statement. Unfortunately, Bridges just kept talking, declaring that AI is “an amalgamation of all our wisdom, our soul, our things.” Digging deeper and deeper, he proceeded to play Von a song that he created for his wife using Suno.
“You can put your demos in and with your melody and your singing. And then it’ll orchestrate it and put on a vocal,” he said before hitting play. After the song, he told the podcaster, “All the guys in Nashville are using it now instead of going into the studio and paying, you know, $10,000, they can do this for nothing, man.” To his credit, Von asked the obvious question: “But do you think that holds as much value, though? Or does it even matter?” To this, Bridges disappointingly replied, “That’s the thing, it’s changing. Everything, it’s just changing, man.”
You Can’t Spell “Abides” Without AI

Obviously, Bridges offered a caveat by calling AI “frightening,” and he’s correct that everything is changing. But it’s impossible to see this clip as anything other than a glowing endorsement for AI. This is depressing on several levels. For example, Suno has an obvious appeal to those who can’t play music, the same way that ChatGPT has an obvious appeal to those who can’t actually write or draw. But Bridges is an experienced musician with a band and everything! If he wanted to write his wife a beautiful song, he could have done it himself. Now, like so many other AI cultists, he’s taking the easy way out instead of putting forth any effort.
This gets doubly depressing when you contrast Jeff Bridges’ pro-AI statements with some of his most famous characters. In The Big Lebowski, he played a counterculture icon who was a radical protestor in the ‘60s and serves as the ultimate anti-establishment slacker. Now, the real Bridges is plugging AI, which is the very embodiment of the establishment. In Tron: Legacy, he played a gifted programmer who eventually learned that flawed humanity is always better than artificial perfection. Now, Bridges is deliberately downplaying human achievement and creativity in favor of letting algorithms do all his thinking and creating for him.

Ironically enough, Jeff Bridges is now closest in spirit to Obadiah Stane, the villain he played in the first Iron Man. In that film, he sneers something at Tony Stark that Bridges is effectively sneering at musicians right now: “You really think that just because you have an idea, it belongs to you?” The answer of everyone with an ounce of actual creativity is a resounding, “yes!” Seeing Bridges sell out for no real reason other than caping for AI is one of the most disappointing sights in the world. What’s the most disappointing sight, though? Simple: the garbage comments left by AI bros who can’t even think of their own burns!

Taylor Swift Booed At Alan Jackson Show, Leaving Fans Stunned: ‘How Nashville Treats One Of Their Own’
Taylor Swift made an unexpected appearance at Alan Jackson‘s farewell concert through a pre-recorded video tribute that was played during his final touring performance in Nashville.
Clips of the video quickly drew attention online amid claims that parts of the crowd booed the singer while her video was shown.
Taylor Swift’s appearance came shortly after she attended Tight End University with fiancé Travis Kelce, and as speculation surrounding the couple’s reported wedding plans continues to generate headlines.

Swift unexpectedly became part of the conversation at Alan Jackson’s farewell concert over the weekend after appearing in a pre-recorded tribute video honoring the country music icon.
Although the singer did not attend the event in person, her message was played during Jackson’s “Last Call: One More for the Road — The Finale” show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Shortly after clips of the tribute surfaced online, some social media users claimed they could hear boos from sections of the crowd while Swift’s video was shown, though the extent of the reaction remains unclear.
Swift’s appearance in the tribute carried special significance given her roots in country music before she transitioned into global pop stardom. Her message formed part of a broader celebration of Jackson’s legendary career, as thousands of fans gathered to mark the final stop of his touring journey.
The evening largely focused on honoring Jackson’s decades-long legacy in country music. The singer has been gradually stepping away from touring while managing Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a group of inherited disorders that affect the nerves.
Fans Defend The Singer From The Surprising Boos
Fans of Swift were quick to defend the singer from the boos, noting that she doesn’t deserve such treatment but is probably already used to it.
“There [are] a lot of jealous people in the world. I’m sure Taylor [is] used to being booed,” a fan wrote on TikTok. “She don’t have nothing to worry about. She’s beautiful, and she was there, that’s all that matters.”
“How Nashville treats one of their own…gross. Love you, Tay,” another person wrote, while a third noted, “Just white conservative men spreading their energy as per usual.”
One more fan commented, “Y’all, why can’t we all coexist and get along. You can not like someone and not be so hateful about it.”
George Kittle Praises Taylor Swift For Attending Tight End University Amid Wedding Rumors

Swift’s appearance at the tribute event came shortly after she spent time in Nashville supporting fiancé Travis Kelce during Tight End University, the annual gathering for NFL tight ends founded by Kelce alongside fellow players George Kittle and Greg Olsen.
During the multi-day event, the pop star attended several activities, including a happy hour gathering and the “Tight Ends & Friends” concert. She also surprised attendees by joining country singer Lainey Wilson onstage for a performance of her hit song “Love Story.”
Her presence at the event drew praise from Kittle, who expressed gratitude that Swift made time to attend despite ongoing speculation surrounding her upcoming wedding to Kelce. “She’s just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding,” Kittle told People Magazine. “So we’re just so thankful that they’re here.”
The San Francisco 49ers star also reflected on Swift’s involvement in last year’s event, which served as the couple’s red-carpet debut and featured a surprise performance from the singer. According to Kittle, Swift’s down-to-earth nature is part of what makes her so popular among attendees.
“She just has a great time,” he said. “She’s just hanging out, talking to my mom. Thanks mom. Shoutout, Taylor, for talking to my mom again. But she’s just so kind, and it’s awesome to have her around.”
New Reports Suggest Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Could Have Tied The Knot Privately

Meanwhile, speculation surrounding Swift and Kelce’s wedding continues to intensify. While neither has publicly confirmed any plans, recent reports have suggested the couple could be preparing for a ceremony in the near future.
According to Essentially Sports, sources have even theorized that the pair may have already completed the legal side of their marriage in private, citing the requirement for couples to “obtain a marriage license before a legal wedding ceremony can take place” in nearly every U.S. state.
Based on that requirement, some observers have theorized that Swift and Kelce could already be legally married “in any one of the couple’s favorite locations, from the Bahamas to Rhode Island” ahead of any larger public celebration. However, neither star has confirmed the reports.
The secrecy surrounding the reported celebration has only fueled public curiosity, with some reports suggesting even invited guests may not know the exact location of the event.
Alleged $20 Million Cost For Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Wedding Revealed

According to reports, the celebrations could begin with a private rehearsal dinner attended by a select group of family members and close friends, followed by a larger ceremony and reception.
Madison Square Garden has been mentioned as a possible venue due to its extensive security measures, although no official confirmation has been provided.
The event is expected to be a lavish affair, with estimates placing the overall cost between $10 million and $20 million, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Other reports have claimed that the guest list could include hundreds of attendees from the worlds of sports, music, and entertainment, with live performances potentially forming part of the celebrations.
However, with neither Swift nor Kelce addressing the rumors publicly, much of the reported wedding information remains unverified.

The Greatest TV Show Just Sold Out, And It May Ruin Everything
By Chris Snellgrove
| Published

We’re still living in the Golden Age of Television, with new must-see shows popping up all the time. However, there’s one that has yet to be dethroned as arguably the greatest series ever made: Breaking Bad. Courtesy of showrunner Vince Gilligan, Breaking Bad captivated the entire world with its tale of a cancer-ridden science teacher (Walter White) forced to sell meth in order to afford medical care. It soon went beyond this provocative premise with a tale about power, corruption, and redemption. Breaking Bad even became a cross-generational hit, appealing to Zoomers as much as it does to Millennials.
The Breaking Bad franchise continued with a movie focusing on Jesse Pinkman (El Camino) and a spinoff show about Walter’s hilariously shady lawyer (Better Call Saul). All were well-received, and the entire franchise is regarded as the standard of modern storytelling. Unfortunately, everyone’s favorite dramatic franchise just sold out. IMG Licensing and Sony Pictures Television have teamed up in order to develop an entire global licensing program dedicated to the Breaking Bad Universe.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, IMG and Sony are developing a Breaking Bad licensing program as part of a “multi-year collaboration” that “will deliver consumer products, brand partnerships and immersive fan experiences worldwide.” In conjunction with franchise creator Vince Gilligan, they hope to “identify strategic partners across key categories including premium apparel, collectibles, food and beverage, home decor, travel, publishing, and experiential activations.” The goal is simple: to appeal to existing Breaking Bad fans while bringing some new ones into the fold. What makes all of this notable is that this is “the first time Sony has appointed an external licensing agency to develop a global licensing program for the franchise.”
When I first heard this news, my heart sank a little bit. I’ve never had a problem with basic Breaking Bad merchandise; after all, as one of the most popular shows ever made, it was inevitable that the show would get its predictable bevy of t-shirts, action figures, and even blue rock candy made to look like Walter White’s signature brand of meth. However, I absolutely despised the 2023 Super Bowl commercial that brought Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul back together to sell Popcorners. It badly recreated memorable Breaking Bad scenes and ended with Cranston uttering the cringiest line of all: “I am the one who snacks.”
Breaking Bad: The Search For More Money

Maybe I’m just old and cranky, but I hated that commercial because it cheapened the entire Breaking Bad brand, all to sell some freakin’ potato chip alternative that nobody ever has or ever will actually care about. Now, that was the kind of weird stuff that was happening before executives started working with a global licensing program. Things have the potential to get a lot worse, like Star Wars-style Happy Meals, AI-powered parody commercials, reality shows, etc. Trust me: no matter how bad you think it will be, this is ultimately going to get much, much worse.
For example, I’ve got a bad feeling about those aforementioned “immersive experiences.” Are we going to get pop-up stands where you can lie down on a huge stack of fake money for a photo opportunity? Competitions where we see how well you can land an oversized pizza frisbee on top of a house? Maybe there will be an interactive game where you can attempt to save Hank from certain death. Could some of this be fun and memorable? Maybe. But all of it would serve to further dilute the IP, making Breaking Bad more like Star Wars. That is, nothing more than an excuse to sell as much merchandise as humanly possible.

As always, I could be wrong. Maybe we’ll get plenty of tasteful merch and genuinely awesome experiences, especially since Vince Gilligan is involved. But if this licensing program produces mostly crap, it will be the worst of both worlds, keeping Gilligan from meaningfully working on anything new while lowering our general opinion about his integrity as a creator. With that said, though, we can agree on one thing: all will be forgiven if they introduce Los Pollos Hermanos as a global brand selling fried chicken. Be sure to get a side order of blue meth for the most immersive experience of them all!

Sammi Giancola Sets The Record Straight After Baby Speculation
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is setting the record straight after fans speculated she might be expecting another child. The “Jersey Shore” star responded to social media comments after photos from Jenni “JWoww” Farley‘s surprise wedding sparked rumors that Giancola was pregnant again. Rather than ignore the speculation, the reality star candidly addressed the challenges she’s faced since welcoming her first child less than a year ago.

After appearing in photos from Farley’s wedding celebration, Giancola noticed some fans questioning whether she was expecting another baby. The reality television personality quickly responded in the comments section of an Instagram post shared from the event. “Guys.. I’m not pregnant again, it’s so hard to lose this baby weight!” she wrote.
The comment immediately resonated with many followers, who rushed to reassure Giancola that she looked beautiful and had nothing to explain. “You look amazing,” one supporter wrote, while others praised the star for being honest about the realities of postpartum recovery.
The Reality Star Recently Welcomed Her First Child
Giancola’s response comes less than a year after she and her husband, Justin May, welcomed their son, Vincent Keith May, in August 2025. The couple’s road to parenthood was not without challenges.
Before Vincent’s arrival, Giancola openly documented her IVF journey and the heartbreak of experiencing a miscarriage, earning support from fans who followed her story. “Some people don’t believe in IVF and stuff, so I was nervous to tell anybody,” she explained in 2024. “I was leaning on other platforms like Instagram or TikTok and seeing what other people were going through.”
Wedding Photos Sparked The Speculation
The rumors began after Giancola attended Farley’s surprise wedding to Zack Carpinello earlier this week. In photos shared from the celebration, Giancola posed alongside the bride and groom while wearing a sheer floral dress.
One image showed May gently resting his hand on her waist, leading some followers to wonder whether the couple had another baby on the way. Instead, Giancola made it clear that what some fans interpreted as a baby bump was simply the normal process of postpartum recovery.
JWoww’s Surprise Wedding Brought The ‘Jersey Shore’ Family Together

Farley’s wedding celebration came just months after Giancola and May celebrated a milestone of their own. The couple tied the knot in December 2025 after becoming engaged in March 2024.
As for Farley and Carpinello, the newlyweds managed to surprise nearly everyone in attendance. Guests reportedly arrived at Madison Modern Social in New Jersey believing they were attending a screening for Farley’s upcoming film, “Nanny Cam,” only to discover they had actually been invited to witness the couple exchange vows.
“It was a beautiful reminder of how fortunate we are to have such incredible people in our lives,” Farley later said of the intimate ceremony.
Farley and Carpinello put their own spin on the traditional wedding entrance by skipping the customary walk down the aisle in favor of personalized musical selections. A longtime James Bond enthusiast, Carpinello made his entrance to “The Name’s Bond… James Bond,” the iconic track composed by David Arnold for Casino Royale.
Farley, meanwhile, opted for a song that held special meaning for her and one of her closest friends. The reality star walked in to Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” the same song Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi used for her first dance at her wedding. “It’s a tribute to my best friend,” Farley explained, highlighting yet another heartfelt detail from the intimate ceremony.
JWoww And Zack Carpinello Chose A Nontraditional Wedding Venue

Rather than opting for a traditional wedding venue, Farley and Carpinello chose Madison Modern Social for their intimate ceremony because it let them focus on what mattered most: celebrating their love with close family and friends.
The couple said the restaurant setting helped eliminate many of the pressures often associated with larger weddings, creating a more relaxed and meaningful experience. “We wanted to focus on the moment itself instead of the pressure and expense that often comes with weddings,” the pair explained.
Despite keeping the celebration intentionally intimate, the newlyweds didn’t skimp on the details. Deep ruby-red tones, rose gold accents, candlelight, and romantic floral arrangements transformed the space into an elegant setting worthy of a fairy tale.
Farley described the overall aesthetic as “a modern ‘Beauty and the Beast’ fairy tale with a dark romance twist,” blending classic romance with a sophisticated edge that reflected the couple’s personal style.
