General Hospital 2-Week Spoilers Feb 9-20: Portia Drops Shocking Baby News & BLQ Unleashes Her Fury

General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) - Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton)

General Hospital 2-week spoilers for February 9 -20, 2026 reveal Portia Robinson‘s (Brook Kerr) baby bombshell and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) raging about something.

General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin & Carly Plot and Gio Comforts Emma

On Monday, February 9th, we are going to see Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) telling Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) that she always knows the right buttons to push. Of course, they’re talking about Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). They’re concerned about a lot of stuff right now.

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brayden Bruner) gets some comfort from Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) when she’s back from France. Emma tells Gio that she had to leave her grandmother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) behind, and Emma is very upset. She says she lost the grandmother that she knew, and Gio is there for her. Poor Anna has just been gaslit out of her mind.

Plus, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) tells Ava Jerome (Maura West) she knows exactly what she’s selling, and it certainly is an art. Lucy and Ava are going to get into it over Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), which is what Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was hoping would happen, and it looks like that’s manifesting.

GH Spoilers: Port Charles Police Commissioner Shakeups and Faison’s Return

Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) tells Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Anna is not going to be coming back as police commissioner. Dante gets an offer also on Monday, and it may be to make his interim role permanent so that he stays on as police commissioner.

Plus, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has reason to be alarmed, and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is going to tell Jason that Anna had a message for him – Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) is alive. This was part of the reason that she’s been on high alert. She and Jason had debated it, and then Anna disappeared for a while.

Something has Jack skeptical while something shocks Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and both of these may be about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Tuesday, February 10th, we have Carly offering Valentin something, and it may be some additional help.

Maybe it’s to stay as long as he needs to since nobody has come looking for him and he’s getting comfortable in her attic. Plus, Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) gets creative about something, and this may be helping Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) sneak out again to go see Valentin.

General Hospital Spoilers: Lucy Vows Vengeance and Alexis Reveals Major News for Jason

Plus, Lucy is out for vengeance. I’m sure this is on Ava, who may embarrass Lucy in front of Sidwell. I don’t think Ava’s going to take it well that Lucy basically said she was a hooker. You know, that’s not a very nice comment she was making. Sidwell is about to have his hands full with these two.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has some information for Jason. Alexis may be telling him that right now Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) is staying with her and Danny can see his sister, which would be a huge step forward.

Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) helps a very upset Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) see things differently. He’s upset about Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and her novel and the way she was talking about the cowboy character. Hopefully, Tracy can convince Cody to calm down, talk to Molly about this, and reconcile with her.

Portia’s Paternity Test Results and Kirsten Storms Returns to GH as Maxie Jones

On Wednesday, February 11th, we’ve got Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) grilling Joss. We could see Trina asking where Josslyn was during the blizzard. I wonder if she’ll try to tell a partial truth and admit that she went out to Wyndemere to see Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), but then he wasn’t there.

Sonny’s giving somebody advice, and I wonder if Dante has told him he’s been offered the police commissioner job. He’s worried about what’s going on with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), which of course Sonny’s on top of. He’s going to try to frame somebody else for the shooting.

Plus, Lucas gets a shock. That could be from anybody—his boyfriend Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), Britt, or Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Somebody gets Charlotte thinking, and we’ll see if it’s Danny. Maybe it’s about Valentin. Hopefully, it’s not about Danny and Charlotte kissing again. They’re cousins, second cousins, but still. Ew. And Jason gives somebody a warning. Maybe that’s going to be Britt, Michael, or Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Delivers Big News – DNA Results are In!

Thursday, February 12th, we’ve got Portia giving somebody some big news. I wonder if she’s going to go ahead and do the paternity test because she knows Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) isn’t going to stop badgering her until she does it. The question is, of course, who’s the daddy. With big news, that sounds kind of positive, so maybe it’s Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis are discussing their future. I guess we’ll find out soon if a baby is going to be part of it, which is the last thing Portia wants because she does not want Jordan raising any child of hers. Gio gets some advice from Brook Lynn, and this may be about how to support Emma while she’s going through these issues with her grandma Anna.

Plus, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) goes looking for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). I wonder if Nathan is going to tell her that they should move forward and shouldn’t ignore their feelings. We may see more kisses soon. That same day, of course, is when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wakes up, which means things are going to get really good from now until the end of sweeps on February 25th. This is Kirsten Storms‘ first episode back to General Hospital.

Willow’s Dark Secret Exposed and Brook Lynn Confronts Harrison Chase on GH

Friday, February 13th, Brook Lynn is not holding back. She goes off on somebody, and I suspect it might be Chase. She may have reached her limit with his constant defense of Willow. And now that Willow’s been acquitted, it’s more than that. Chase is determined to prove that Michael shot Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).

I wonder if Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Viron Weaver) might bust Chase to his wife and say that he saw him with his dad Michael’s keys. Britt is in for a shock from Nathan. I wonder if he’s going to admit his feelings for Lulu, which might make Britt’s head explode. We’ve also not really seen Nathan and Britt alone since he came back.

I wonder if we’re going to get some more hints that she has known about his location and what’s been going on with him for these past seven years. Felicia and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) make an important decision. I’m sure it’s about Maxie. Maybe it’s to go ahead and bring her back to Port Charles.

It could be to warn her that Nathan is suddenly back from the dead. Plus, Michael surprises Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) with a Valentine’s Day date, and they are definitely going to keep heating up. Plus, Lucas opens up to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) on Friday, and it may be some concerns about Marco.

General Hospital February Sweeps: Maxie Learns Nathan West Is Alive

The week of February 16th through the 20th, we’re going to have Willow continue to drug a terrified Drew. He is right to be terrified. We do know from a recent interview with Katelyn MacMullen that Willow is going to get busted. Not right away, but we’ll see if it happens by the end of sweeps. The actress said when she’s caught out, it is going to be the worst moment of her life. Now the question is: is she busted for everything at once—shooting Drew, drugging Drew, and setting up Michael—or do things come out a little at a time?

Maxie has to adjust to coming back from this coma and finding out that Nathan is alive. Spinelli is obviously going to be there supporting her, but they do have to warn her because as soon as she sees James West (Gary James Fuller), he’s going to mention that he finally got to meet his dad. Nevertheless, Maxie’s family is thrilled, especially James and Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher). We should see more of the kids, and I’m personally really glad to have Kirsten Storms back.

Lulu & Nathan Struggle on General Hospital

Lulu and Nathan are going to struggle with their feelings now that Maxie is awake. But as long as she sticks with Spinelli reasonably, they can move forward. Maxie still might have some feelings about it. Michael proves that he’s all in with Jacinda but the PCPD is investigating him and things could get awkward.

Wiley may rat out Chase, Gio is there to support Emma, and Jason needs a vial of Britt’s meds ASAP for Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to reverse engineer them, but Cullum’s got them under wraps. We’ll see what kind of plan they have to get the medication.

Anna continues to struggle, and it may be a while before she’s back in Port Charles. Joss may be in danger from Cullum. Carly and Valentin’s friendship keeps growing, and Sonny is working overtime to protect Michael.

Authorities Investigating ‘New Leads’ In Search for Savannah Guthrie’s Mom

Published

Authorities are widening their search for Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy Guthrie, after revealing law enforcement is investigating new leads.

“Many of you observed an active presence at the Guthrie residences over the weekend. That activity will continue tonight and into tomorrow as part of the ongoing investigative process, including the expansion of the search and follow-up on new leads,” the Pima County Sheriff’s Department announced via social media on Monday, February 9. . “This is all part of the investigative process, as the search for Nancy expands and new leads come in.”

Details of the “new leads” were not publicly released “to preserve the integrity of this criminal investigation.”

The authorities also stated that the FBI will handle “all aspects related to any ransom note(s) or communications involving the Guthrie family.”

Savannah Guthrie has shared a new video statement pleading for missing mom Nancy Guthrie’s safe return less than four hours before the latest ransom deadline. “I just wanted to come on and share some thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare,” Savannah, 54, said in a video shared via Instagram on Monday, […]

If anyone has additional information about Nancy’s whereabouts they are encouraged to contact law enforcement through the tip lines 1-800-CALL-FBI, the PCSD non-emergency line at 520-351-4900 or 88-CRIME.

NewsNation reporter Brian Entin shared an additional statement issued by the FBI in relation to the ongoing criminal investigation on Monday via X.

“The FBI is not aware of any continued communication between the Guthrie family and suspected kidnappers, nor have we identified a suspect or person of interest in this case at this time,” the statement read.

Earlier this month, Nancy was reported missing in Tucson, Arizona, by her family after she was last seen the previous evening. A friend of Nancy’s noticed that she did not attend that Sunday’s church service and alerted one of Nancy’s children, who checked on her home before contacting the police. (In addition to Savannah, Nancy shares daughter Annie and son Camron with late husband Charles Guthrie.)

Law enforcement officials believe that Nancy was taken from her home, as the elderly woman has mobility issues that would have made it difficult for her to leave on her own. Nancy also takes daily medications and missing a dose could be fatal.

Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN9 reported that multiple alleged ransom letters were sent to various media outlets amid Nancy’s disappearance. One note demanded $6 million in bitcoin in exchange for her safe return, while a man named Derrick Callella was arrested for sending a fake ransom note to the Guthrie family.

The Animated Series’ Changed Marvel History With These 2 Iconic Relationships [Exclusive]

Published

on

X-Men 97 Disney Plus TV Series Poster

X-Men ‘97 shattered sky-high expectations two years ago when it debuted to immaculate reviews on its way to becoming the highest-rated Marvel project in history, despite not being set in the MCU. With scores of 99% from critics and 91% from audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, it’s safe to say that X-Men ‘97 was a hit. This justified Marvel’s decision to greenlight the show for a Season 2 before the Season 1 premiere, and there’s such high demand for more mutants that the studio is already working on Season 3 before the premiere of Season 2.

One aspect of X-Men ‘97 that fans appreciated in particular was the romance. The relationships made the show feel more mature than some other Marvel properties that ran from romance rather than embracing it. While Rogue and Magneto’s relationship stole the spotlight, most fans agree that Rogue’s relationship with Gambit was the show’s beating heart, at least until Gambit’s tragic passing.

Collider’s Maggie Lovitt recently moderated a panel at Big Lick Comic-Con in Roanoke, VA, for Rogue actor Lenore Zann, who brought out Larry Houston, who produces X-Men ‘97. A fan in attendance asked Zann about Rogue’s relationship with Gambit, and Houston also chimed in with an interesting fact that many X-Men fans may not be aware of:

“We invented that relationship to try and create some character drama and interesting subject matter to make the show interesting, and it eventually became so interesting that it migrated back to the comic books as a relationship that the fans enjoyed. But, it was something we created for entertainment for you guys in the cartoon show, the same with the love triangle between Scott, Jean, and Wolverine. That was not in the [comic] books either.”

Houston also recalled a conversation with a former X-Men live-action movie director who told him he had “never read one X-Men comic,” but that he “saw the TV show and that’s how the relationship migrated into the movies and then migrated back to the comic books. It’s all created for entertainment for the fans, and it became canon by accident.” Rogue and Gambit’s relationship is far from the only thing that a movie or show writer had an idea for that was later adapted to a comic book.

What Do We Know About the Next Two Seasons of ‘X-Men ’97′?

Plot details about X-Men ‘97 Season 2 are being kept under wraps, but after the Season 1 ending saw the team left scattered in chaos across time and space, the stakes are sure to be on the rise. The show is expected to premiere sometime this summer, likely in June or July, barring any further delays. The wait between Seasons 2 and 3 is also expected to be smaller than the wait between Seasons 1 and 2. This show can operate more smoothly under the continued leadership of new writer and showrunner Matthew Chauncy after parting ways with Beau DeMayo.

Stay tuned to Collider for more updates from Big Lick Comic Con and coverage of X-Men ‘97 Seasons 2 and 3, and catch up on the first season on Disney+.

On Tuesday, February 3, per Variety, it was confirmed that “Sherri” had been cancelled after four seasons and production would officially wrap up in the fall. Debmar-Mercury, which distributes the show through producer Lionsgate, issued a statement confirming the news.

“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus via joint statement.

A Slow-Burn Crime Thriller in the Vein of ‘Zodiac’ Finally Finds Its Audience

on

WOMAN OF THE HOUR, Daniel Zovatto, 2023. ph: Leah Gallo / © Roadshow Films / Courtesy Everett Collection

Director David Fincher‘s fans got a first look at his new movie, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, with a typically exciting teaser this weekend. The movie serves as a spin-off to Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which grossed nearly $400 million worldwide in 2019, and will reunite Fincher with his frequent creative collaborator Brad Pitt. Although there’s no denying that The Adventures of Cliff Booth feels like a stepping stone for Fincher, nobody knows what he’s walking toward at this stage of his career. While his fans continue to wonder why he has hitched his wagon to Netflix — the director hasn’t had a theatrical release in over a decade — they can remind themselves of the good old days by revisiting some of his past masterpieces. Or they could check out a movie that may exist in the same universe as the film Zodiac and the show Mindhunter.

The movie in question had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023, ahead of a release on Netflix. However, since the streamer only acquired the domestic rights to the movie, it’s now seeing a spike in viewership on a rival platform. According to FlixPatrol, the film was among the most-watched titles on the global HBO Max charts over the Super Bowl weekend, when the leaderboard was topped by M3GAN 2.0. It served as the feature directorial debut of star Anna Kendrick, and was based on the stranger-than-fiction true story of how a serial killer was nabbed by the cops after appearing on a dating game show. The serial killer operated across the United States at around the same time as the Zodiac Killer, whose crimes served as the basis for Fincher’s Zodiac.

Here’s How ‘Woman of the Hour’ Was a Departure From the Norm for Serial Killer Stories

Kendrick’s movie is called Woman of the Hour. She also featured in the lead role of an aspiring actor who appeared alongside the serial killer, Rodney Alcala, in an episode of The Dating Game in 1978. The movie earned positive reviews and is now sitting at a “Certified Fresh” 91% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. The website’s consensus reads, “Deftly directed by star Anna Kendrick, Woman of the Hour uses an incredible true story as the foundation for a powerful examination of the intersection between systemic misogyny and violence.” Unlike most movies and shows about serial killers, Woman of the Hour spotlighted the victims and presented the story through the perspective of someone who escaped by the skin of her teeth.

You can watch the film at home. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Sophie Rain Takes A Stance Amid Bad Bunny Halftime Show Debate

Bad Bunny at Super Bowl LX

As backlash swirled online over Bad Bunny headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, at least one high-profile creator is making it clear she’s firmly in his corner. OnlyFans star Sophie Rain spoke out in support of the global superstar after he delivered his first-ever Super Bowl halftime performance, which brought high-energy and an unapologetic party vibe he promised fans.

When Bad Bunny was first announced as the halftime headliner, criticism quickly followed, much of it centered on his Spanish-language music, explicit lyrics, Puerto Rican roots, and outspoken political views. The artist, whose real name is Benito Martínez Ocasio, has been vocal about his opposition to aggressive immigration enforcement and previously called for the end of ICE during a Grammys speech.

Despite calls from some corners to replace him, the NFL stood by its choice. Commissioner Roger Goodell was asked again this week about Bad Bunny’s comments and made it clear the league supports artists using their platforms to express themselves.

Super Bowl Halftime Turns Into Culture War

Much of the backlash, critics noted, ignored the fact that Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory and that Bad Bunny is a U.S. citizen. Instead, the reaction fueled a broader culture war over who gets to represent America on its biggest stage, and what “American” even looks like.

But Sophie Rain wasn’t buying into the outrage.

Shortly after the halftime show performance, Rain took to X, writing, “halftime show was great, wish there wasn’t so much hate in this world.”

In a statement shared with The Blast, Rain expanded on why the performance mattered to her and to so many others watching. “Bad Bunny didn’t just perform,” she said. “He represented millions of people who don’t often see themselves in the spotlight on the biggest stage in America.”

She urged fans not to let political noise drown out what the moment meant. “If you felt seen last night, if you felt proud, hold onto that,” Rain said. “Don’t let all the political noise drown out what the moment meant. Bad Bunny didn’t perform for social media; he performed for his people and to represent what music means to him.”

Rain added that the performance sent a powerful message to those who often feel pushed aside. “He performed for the people who’ve been told they’re too loud, too foreign, too different,” she said. “And he made history doing it.”

She closed by calling for more unity and less division in pop culture and in the world. “I’m proud of artists like Benito,” Rain said. “There’s a lot of hate in the world right now. We need less of that. We need to represent all cultures equally.”

How Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show LSPR Interpreter Made History

How Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show LSPR Interpreter Made History

The Super Bowl LX halftime show proved to be more than just a musical milestone. It was also a big win for Deaf advocacy. Although Bad Bunny made history as the first predominantly Spanish-language headliner, the real breakthrough came when a Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR) interpreter provided access to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, a move that directly honors the linguistic rights of the Puerto Rican Deaf community.

Article continues below advertisement

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Honored The Puerto Rican Deaf Community

For years, the standard for accessibility at major events has been American Sign Language (ASL). However, for the 220,000 deaf or hard-of-hearing residents of Puerto Rico, ASL isn’t always used.

LSPR evolved from ASL in the early 1900s, but has developed its own unique pacing, slang, and cultural nuances that make it a separate language. Despite its importance to the Puerto Rican community, linguistic experts have categorized LSPR as an endangered language. Advocacy for its use is a fight for the survival of a specific cultural heritage, and watching it being performed during the Super Bowl only highlights the importance of maintaining the language.

How Celimar Rivera Cosme Started Working With Bad Bunny

Celimar Rivera Cosme was the LSPR interpreter who provided services during the Super Bowl halftime show. Cosme is a native of Puerto Rico. She is hard of hearing and was hired directly by the NFL to interpret Bad Bunny’s set.

However, that doesn’t mean she’s unfamiliar with the superstar. She began working with him in 2022 after an Instagram video she made went viral. According to San Francisco PBS member station KQED, she begged him to include an LSPR interpreter at his shows, and he hired her a week after she posted the video.

Celimar Rivera Cosme Explains The Importance Of LSPR

According to a 2022 report, approximately seven percent of Puerto Rico’s residents identify as either deaf or hard-of-hearing. This would account for approximately 220,000 people in their overall population of 3.2 million.

“We’ve been fighting not to lose our language, but to keep it,” Cosme told The New York Times in an interview ahead of her performance. “The Super Bowl will be an excellent platform for us to use our language.”

She was also thankful for her opportunity to showcase Puerto Rico’s culture and language during the Super Bowl, one of the most-watched sports events of the year.

“The stakes here are to show that we are friendly people, and also how we dance, our lyrics, our slang,” she told the Times. “Puerto Rico… we might be a small island, but people here have a huge, huge heart.”

Celimar Rivera Cosme Was ‘Thrilled’ To Interpret The Super Bowl

In addition, Cosme told KQED that she was “excited” to perform, knowing it would make the people of Puerto Rico “happy” to see their language showcased in such a public way.

“I’m so excited,” she said. “And the deaf people of Puerto Rico are happy that the Super Bowl will be accessible to them in their own sign language.”

She went on to say, “I know I’m going to be the one standing up there, but it’s the deaf community of my island that’s going to shine.”
