George and Amal Clooney Evacuate Home Amid French Wildfires

Published

George and Amal Clooney have evacuated their home in France amid wildfires sweeping through the region.

Us obtained a letter that the couple, 65 and 48 respectively, sent to Didier Brémond, mayor of the southeastern French village of Brignoles. (The Clooneys have lived in an 18th century farmhouse in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur community since 2021.)

The Clooneys wrote, “Dear Didier, at this point we have no idea whether our beautiful home makes it through this terrible moment and as we evacuate Brignoles we want to emphasise 2 things, first we hope you and the people of our city are safe and second that Amal and I are committed to making sure that whatever happens to our village, we are part of this community and we’ll be part of making it whole. We love Brignoles and our friends who live there.”

Wildfires, fueled by an extreme heatwave, have ravaged Europe in recent days, forcing large-scale evacuations across France, Greece, Italy and Spain.

CNN reported that more than 3,000 people have been evacuated from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, where the Clooneys live, while French and Spanish authorities confirmed that more than 250,000 people total have been evacuated across both countries due to the fires.

“In these hours when the flames are severely testing our country, France reveals what it is: a united people, standing shoulder to shoulder,” French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted on Saturday, July 25. “Thank you to our firefighters, our military personnel, the civil security forces, our gendarmes and police officers, as well as to the farmers and entrepreneurs, who through their commitment and courage, relentlessly combat the fires.”

Macron, 48, continued, “All civil and military resources are mobilized: civil security aerial resources, Canadair, Dash, water-bomber helicopters, reinforcements from across France. … Our thoughts also go to Spain, Italy, Greece, and all the peoples who are also facing wildfires.”

“We will rebuild, we will repair, and we will be there as long as it takes,” the politician vowed.

George and Amal own various properties throughout Europe, including the historic Mill House estate in Berkshire, England, and a residence known as Villa Oleandra in Lake Como, Italy.

Last October, Clooney told The Guardian that he moved his family to France to give his 9-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, the best possible childhood.

“We live on a farm in France,” he said. “A good portion of my life growing up was on a farm [in Kentucky], and as a kid I hated the whole idea of it. But now, for [the twins], it’s like – they’re not on their iPads, you know? They have dinner with grownups and have to take their dishes in.”

The two-time Oscar winner went on, “They have a much better life. I was worried about raising our kids in LA, in the culture of Hollywood. I felt like they were never going to get a fair shake at life. France – they kind of don’t give a s*** about fame. I don’t want them to be walking around worried about paparazzi. I don’t want them being compared to somebody else’s famous kids.”

George and Amal officially received French citizenship with their twins in December 2025, per a naturalization decree published by French newspaper Journal Officiel.

‘The Big Bang Theory’s New Sci-Fi Spin-Off Is Officially Taking Over the World

Published

on

stuart-fails-to-save-the-universe-kevin-sussman-lauren-lapkis

Now firmly in its franchise era, HBO is seeing the benefits of this strategy already. Television was always uniquely reliant on sequels, so to speak — every successful show is expected to return every year with a new installment. But before the streaming boom, TV was also viewed as a venue for originality. HBO was at the forefront of producing what is now known as prestige television, and this commitment rubbed off on several other networks. In fact, in the early years, streaming platforms seemed to be relying on a similar strategy. But the pendulum has swung in a different direction now, with even HBO turning to a populist model to keep with the times. All of this is to say that the same HBO that released shows like Oz and The Wire is now releasing titles such as The Penguin, Lanterns, House of the Dragon, and a new hit that’s taking over the streaming charts.

Released as an HBO Max original, the show is a spin-off of perhaps one of the most enduring sitcoms ever made. But here’s the catch, the new spin-off isn’t a sitcom itself, but rather, has been tweaked to suit the sensibilities of a streaming audience. Created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady, the show centers on a recurring character from the original, a character who primarily stayed in the background.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

The Time Travel Show Is the Perfect Comedic Lead-In to ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

We’re talking, of course, about The Big Bang Theory and its new spin-off Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. The show stars Kevin Sussman as the titular character, owner of the comic book store frequented by the original’s protagonists. But instead of being a sitcom, it’s a multiverse-hopping sci-fi comedy. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe has received mostly positive reviews and is currently sitting at a 74% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. In her review, Collider’s Greer Riddell called the series “charming and mind-bending.” According to FlixPatrol, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe debuted at the number two spot on the domestic and global HBO Max charts, trailing House of the Dragon on both charts. ‘The Last of Us’ Officially Resurrects Joel Miller for New 2027 Release

Published

on

Pedro Pascal in The Last of Us

When it comes to popular video game adaptations, few shows or movies have picked up as much steam in recent years as The Last of Us. Based on the popular game series developed by Naughty Dog, the same studio behind the Uncharted games, The Last of Us released its first game back in 2013, and it followed with a sequel seven years later in 2020. Both games received widespread critical acclaim and several Game of the Year awards, and the show was turned into a TV show only a few years after The Last of Us Part II over on HBO. HBO recruited Pedro Pascal to play Joel in The Last of Us and Bella Ramsey to play Ellie — both actors have received Emmy nods for their performances in each of the first two seasons.

The Last of Us Part II was extremely divisive upon its release, particularly for its killing off of the main character, Joel Miller, much earlier in the game than fans expected. This did allow Ellie to step into the lead role in Part II, but fans are still not ready to say goodbye to Joel. And, thanks to a new release courtesy of Prime 1 Studio coming next year, they don’t have to. Joel Miller is officially returning in 2027 via a Real Elite Masterline collectible statue from Prime 1, but the limited edition release is only getting 350 units total. It also runs at a retail price of $1,399.00, making it one of the more expensive collectibles on the market. The Joel Miller Real Elite Masterline statue is almost indiscernible from Joel’s appearance in The Last of Us Part I, though, and a must-have for die-hard TLOU fans.

When Does ‘The Last of Us’ Season 3 Come Out?

HBO has not yet set a release date for The Last of Us Season 3, but it has been confirmed that it will be the final season of the show. This is not at all surprising and a very natural progression, especially considering how the first two seasons have adapted the events of the game. The first season of The Last of Us adapted the entirety of The Last of Us Part I, and Season 2 focused on Ellie’s perspective in The Last of Us Part II. This only leaves Abby’s perspective in The Last of Us Season 3 before the show comes to a close.

Check out the first two seasons of The Last of Us on HBO Max and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the franchise.

‘Ted Lasso’ Is Entering a New Era on Apple TV, but This Duo Still Has Its Best Story

Published

Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent and Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt in Ted Lasso Season 2

When Ted Lasso returns for Season 4 this August, it won’t just be bringing AFC Richmond back to the pitch — it’ll also introduce the Lady Greyhounds, ushering in a brand-new chapter for the beloved Apple TV comedy. With new faces set to take center stage, there’s no better time to look back at the relationships that made the original three seasons so special.

Romance has always been a defining part of the series, from Ted (Jason Sudeikis) and Rebecca’s (Hannah Waddingham) will-they-won’t-they dynamic to Keeley (Juno Temple) navigating multiple romances and Colin’s (Billy Harris) deeply personal journey. But as memorable as those love stories are, Ted Lasso‘s greatest relationship was never romantic. Instead, the show’s most rewarding arc belonged to one unlikely bromance that transformed from bitter rivalry into one of television’s most heartfelt friendships.

Roy and Jamie Hated Each Other in ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 1

When Ted Lasso and his trusted assistant Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) arrive in the United Kingdom to coach AFC Richmond, they meet two very prominent members of the struggling soccer team. The first is the bullish Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) — a once-legendary star of the sport whose age and career’s worth of injuries finally catch up to him. The second is the cocky Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster), who’s become the new star player on the team despite his braggadocious attitude and constant bullying of select team members and staff.

The Sorting Hat Speaks
Your House Has Been Chosen

After careful deliberation, the Sorting Hat has made its decision. This is the house your values, your instincts, and your particular way of being in the world were made for.

Gryffindor Tower · Scarlet & Gold

🦁 Gryffindor

You have nerve. Not the reckless kind, but the deep, quiet courage that shows up even when you’re terrified — especially then.

  • Gryffindors don’t act because they’re fearless — they act because they understand that some things are worth being afraid for.
  • You stand up for people when it would be easier to look away.
  • You charge toward what’s right even when the odds are terrible.
  • Harry, Hermione, Ron — the heroes of Hogwarts’s greatest chapter — all called the tower with the scarlet and gold home. And now, so do you.

Slytherin Dungeon · Emerald & Silver

🐍 Slytherin

You are driven, sharp, and utterly clear-eyed about what you want and how to get there.

  • Slytherin has long been misunderstood — painted as the house of villains when it is, at its best, the house of those who refuse to accept limits placed on them by others.
  • You are resourceful, strategic, and you play the long game.
  • You know your worth. You protect your own fiercely.
  • The dungeon common room with its view of the Black Lake is yours — and the ambitions that will take you further than anyone expects are yours too.

Hufflepuff Basement · Yellow & Black

🦡 Hufflepuff

You are the kind of person that makes the world genuinely better just by being in it.

  • Hufflepuff is not the “safe” house or the “leftover” house — it is the house of those with the greatest heart and the most unwavering integrity.
  • You show up. You work hard. You don’t need glory or recognition — you do what’s right because it’s right.
  • Your loyalty never wavers, even when tested.
  • Nymphadora Tonks, Cedric Diggory, Newt Scamander — some of the wizarding world’s finest. And now you join them.

Ravenclaw Tower · Blue & Bronze

🦅 Ravenclaw

Your mind is your greatest gift, and you’ve always known it.

  • Ravenclaws are the thinkers, the questioners, the ones who find a puzzle irresistible and a good book better company than most people.
  • Ravenclaw is not merely about intelligence — it’s about the love of learning, the pursuit of truth, and the rare courage to admit you don’t know something yet.
  • You see the world with unusual clarity and depth.
  • Luna Lovegood, Filius Flitwick, Rowena Ravenclaw herself — all extraordinary, all original. And so are you.

So we have a former legend who’s past his prime and a rising star who’s unimaginably arrogant. The makings of a classic sports rivalry practically writes itself, and Roy and Jamie constantly butt heads throughout the entire season. Roy is very much framed as the underdog while Jamie is the jock-esque bully, and that becomes especially true when Roy develops romantic feelings for Jamie’s then-girlfriend, Keeley. After Keeley finds out that Jamie has been unfaithful, she breaks up with the hothead and starts a relationship with the gruff yet kindhearted Roy.

Ted takes notice of Roy’s cavalier attitude and tries his best to rectify it, but before he can reach a breakthrough with the arrogant team member, Jamie is traded to another team in Manchester City.

Roy and Jamie Tolerated Each Other in ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2

Season 2 of Ted Lasso represents a significant transition period for Roy and Jamie. Roy has officially left AFC Richmond behind by retiring, deciding that he’s not physically capable of competing in the sport any longer. Instead, he’s now coaching the youth soccer team of his young beloved niece, but this does little to satiate Roy’s desire to still be involved with the game of football. He then decides to take on a job as a sports broadcaster, but his signature brand of honesty and foul mouth makes that position not a great fit. Instead, he finds his way back to AFC Richmond, this time not as a player, but as an assistant coach for Ted.

Meanwhile, Jamie is seemingly living the high life, being a contestant on a dating show that’s clearly a parody of Love Island. When Jamie is the first contestant to be voted off the show and embarrassed in front of national television, the football player realizes that his bad-boy attitude is no longer popular among his fanbase, which has also led him to get kicked off the team he got traded to. With nowhere else to turn to, Jamie finds his way back to Ted and convinces him to let him come back to play for AFC Richmond, despite treating him and the rest of the team like dirt.

Suffice it to say, most of the team’s members and employees aren’t thrilled at Jamie’s return, especially Roy. It takes quite a lot of time, but Jamie ultimately proves to Roy and his teammates that he’s changed and matured, working to mend the bridges with the people he tormented and bullied. Roy even sees the reason behind Jamie’s past behavior when he meets Jamie’s father — an unbelievably selfish and cruel man who has been abusing his son for who knows how long. After Jamie finally delivers a well-earned punch to his father, Roy is quick to put their differences aside and comforts the upset player. We see how their relationship really evolves when Jamie confesses to Roy that he told Keeley that he’s still in love with her — instead of going ballistic on Jamie, Roy forgives him. Roy does give Jamie a solid strike after the team gets promoted but quickly hugs him as they celebrate their big win.

By Season 3, Roy and Jamie are still following the same career paths, but both are continuing to evolve as people. Roy, in particular, is going through a dramatic change in his own life, as he and Keeley have officially decided to break up, supposedly due to their incredibly busy schedules. Jamie, meanwhile, is going through a personal crisis of his own when legendary player Zava (Maximilian Osinski) joins the team and suddenly overshadows him as the star player of AFC Richmond. Both of these events mark a key turning point in their lives, but it also allows Roy and Jamie to go from teammates who tolerate each other to friends who actually like each other.

Once Zava joins the team and becomes the primary source for the team’s win streak, Jamie desperately wants to prove that he’s a better player than the pretentious new transfer. Roy senses that Jamie is self-conscious about his playing ability, and offers to train Jamie to become a better player. This requires getting up at an absurdly early hour and going for long runs in the dark, but this does put Jamie on a path to becoming a much better player. While the rest of the team takes a break to explore Amsterdam, Jamie continues his training with Roy, but even he’s able to convince his mentor to unwind and take a bit of a break. They’ve already been warming up to each other quite a bit, but after Jamie teaches Roy a few tricks himself, such as the seemingly basic task of riding a bike, it’s abundantly clear that they’ve officially gone from bitter rivals to reluctant teammates to possibly even best friends.

With Ted Lasso preparing to introduce the Lady Greyhounds in Season 4, the series is entering a new era filled with fresh relationships and dynamics. Still, Roy and Jamie’s journey from bitter rivals to genuine friends will be difficult to top.

Ted Lasso Seasons 1–3 are available to stream on Apple TV, with Season 4 premiering August 4.

Cole Hauser Officially Addresses Taylor Sheridan’s Exit From ‘Dutton Ranch’

Published

on

xsieccxd8lkcaluw0wwwbw5cwsv-2.jpg

When Yellowstone wrapped, we knew that it was going to split up into other parts and run into new storylines. But its first direct sequel had a lot to live up to and, while Dutton Ranch reunited Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly as Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton, one key figure from the original series wasn’t making the journey with them.

While the grand poobah of Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan, was still involved in things from a higher level, he was no longer there day to day and left Hauser and the cast to work with an entirely new creative team, and according to the actor, that made filming Season 1 a far bigger challenge than many viewers realized. Speaking to Film Inside NYC, Hauser admitted stepping onto the Dutton Ranch set without Sheridan felt like entering unfamiliar territory.

“There were challenges, you know? Not having Taylor there, for us to really kind of be able to work with these new writers, these new directors, these people… everything had changed.” Hauser said the only real sense of continuity came from returning alongside Reilly, Finn Little and longtime Yellowstone director Christina Alexandra Voros. “The only normality that we had whatsoever on set. I enjoy a challenge – it certainly was a challenge. We worked our asses off this year. The new writers that we had, we had to figure out on our feet how to really perform and tell a story. So I’m proud of what we accomplished, and I look forward to doing it again.”

Ed Harris Tried to Leave ‘Dutton Ranch’

Hauser’s comments come just days after co-star Ed Harris revealed he was initially unhappy with his role in Dutton Ranch. Harris stated in an interview that he had been “misled” on how important his role was, prior to filming, describing himself as “underused and inconsequential” during Season 1.

Harris also revealed he was “really pissed off” when a scene that he’d shot singing karaoke was cut from the final product and it was at that point, he felt like he might want to leave the series. Despite those frustrations, Harris confirmed he will return for Season 2 after being assured his character, Everett McKinney, will have “a little bit more to do.”

Season 1 of Dutton Ranch is now streaming on Paramount+, with Season 2 currently in development.

LisaRaye McCoy Critiques Usher Fan & Social Media Weighs In

Published

Oop! LisaRaye McCoy Sounds Off On Reluctant Usher Fan As Social Media Continues To Weigh In (VIDEO)

LisaRaye McCoy has an opinion about the Usher fan who was brought onstage during a recent concert but quickly escorted off. McCoy shared her thoughts on her new YouTube show, ‘Sh*t Chat.’

RELATED: U Got It Bad? Usher Kicks Fan Off Stage After Steamy Moment Takes Unexpected Turn At ‘R&B’our (VIDEO)

LisaRaye McCoy Says Usher Fan’s Rebuttal Was ‘A Lot’ On YouTube

Usher is currently on tour with Chris Brown in ‘The R&B TOUR,’ and LisaRaye has a popular opinion about the fan who was escorted off the stage at a recent concert. Gabrielle Cheyenne was booted off the stage in Nashville, Tennessee, for failing to participate after being selected for the fan segment.
After Usher said, “I don’t think she wants to be on stage,” he waved her off and signaled security. Fans quickly dragged Cheyenne for her lack of participation, and she clapped back with a strong statement evoking her ‘PRETTY PRIVILEGE’ and desire for Brown over Usher.

“When you go to a Chris Brown and Usher concert, we have seen it enough to know that when it comes to that part, that you know what the women have done and what is expected,” she said. “So, if you go up there and do something different, other than what’s expected, people are going to look at you like you’re the dumb one because they’re like, ‘Where the hell you been? Under a rock? Because this is what it is.’”

‘The Players Club’ star didn’t stop there, and she minced no words when she said Cheyenne should have ‘kept her a*s’ in her seat.

“So, I get that she’s got a man and that maybe she’s not that kind of girl. But if you’re not that kind of girl, then you should’ve kept your a*s sitting down in your seat. Pretty as f*ck or not. You know what i’m sayin’?… And that’s just what it is. When you’re up there, that’s a part of the show. Period. That’s what they do for that part of the show. You can’t act like you didn’t know that,” she added.

“Her rebuttal was a little much,” continued the actress. “Like, she came real strong. It was like, pretty privilege or just lady-like. It’s like, ‘Wow.’ You know what I’m sayin’? So, all of that, I was taken aback. I was like, ‘Ugh.’ It’s a lot. I think there’s a way you can get your point across with the stance that she took, this pretty privilege lady, that she could’ve had said all of this lady-like…. She opened up a can of worms, and I think that they gonna get her… the intent is unstoppable.”

Fans Co-Signed LisaRaye’s Comments

Fans on Instagram quickly agreed with McCoy about Cheyenne’s actions and comments, and they weren’t any easier on her than McCoy.

User @lulu_la_veganbod replied, She knew… she went back stage for a slot & she took it 😂 it’s a lottery which performer wants you.”

@deonna_tamar added, Agreed!! She deserves every backlash she gets solely bc of her response afterwards and towards Usher!”

User @hendersonjess added, What Lisa said! That’s a part of the show! She could have declined. We didn’t even get to hear Usher sing “Can You Handle It” after she pulled that stunt!‼️”

User @t_baby83 wrote, 😂😂😂I love me some Lisa Ray!”

@mizzuniqueme13 added, Yessss! I agreed with Lisa Ray, Ughhh👏😂.”

User @shontan_godwin_ replied, Facts everyone knows what goes down on the stage.”

@finechina_aja wrote, I agree!!! She knew exactly what time it was!!! Next!!!”

At least one user was less harsh with Cheyenne. @ellisjai_styled noted, She wanted Chris and I don’t blame her.”

Cheyenne Clapped Back Hard At Fans, And Usher Weighed-In

After receiving backlash for her actions, Cheyenne responded on Facebook with some choice words, and it did not go over well.

“First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage,” she said. “I looked good you thought I wasnt gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me?? On the big screen, where you Will never be????… Their team approached us and moved us to VIP before the show even started !! PRETTY PRIVILEGES something you will never know about!! They dont say what youre going up there for!! Yall wanted me to get up there and f*ck him atp ?? CHATT FOLKS ARENT USED TO ANYTHING. Thats the most exciting thing that wouldve happened in yall little a** lives !! F*ck yall, DISRESPECTFULLY.”

She also told TMZ that she preferred Brown over Usher, and things would have gone down differently had she been onstage with him.

Usher reacted a few nights later during his concert in Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday, July 28. While bringing another fan onstage for the spicy segment, he issued a warning.

“Before we get started, don’t bring your a*s up here if you don’t wanna be here,” said Usher, prompting laughter from the audience. “God, don’t like ugly, but he most certainly don’t feel too good about pretty privilege, either.”

‘Star Wars’ Brings Back Carl Weathers 2 Years After His Death

Published

on

03153801_poster_w780.jpg

Star Wars is definitely one of those worlds, or universes, where you never really say goodbye to somebody. Characters can survive almost anything, especially in a world where being chopped in half isn’t quite the career-ending injury you might expect. But Lucasfilm has understandably taken a much more careful approach to characters whose actors have died, particularly when those performers became synonymous with their roles.

Which is why the newest chapter of The Mandalorian feels so poignant and well-handled. Two years after Carl Weathers died at the age of 76, his character Greef Karga, a huge favorite of viewers, has officially returned to Star Wars canon — although, importantly, Lucasfilm hasn’t recast the role or digitally recreated Weathers to make it happen.

Karga appears in the new comic The Mandalorian & Grogu – Danger in the Dark, a prequel story released by Mad Cave, Papercutz and Disney that leads directly into the events of The Mandalorian & Grogu, and it’s the character’s first appearance since we lost Weathers back in February 2024. The story finds Karga alive and well on Nevarro, where he’s still serving as High Magistrate and has maintained his friendship with Din Djarin and the Baby with the Magic Hands. He’s even still handing out jobs, tasking Mando and his young apprentice with dealing with a potentially explosive problem beneath the planet.

Grey Jedi

Disciplined, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the living Force, you have walked the path long enough to understand its demands — and accept them. You lead not through authority alone, but through example. You have felt the pull of the dark side and chosen otherwise, every time. That is not certainty. That is courage.

You are earnest, powerful, and brimming with potential — and you know it, which is both your greatest asset and your most dangerous flaw. You act before you think, trust your gut over your training, and sometimes confuse impatience for bravery. The Masters see something in you, though. The question isn’t whether you have what it takes — it’s whether you’ll be patient enough to find out.

You are not simply dangerous — you are certain, and that is worse. You have decided what the galaxy needs, and you have decided you are the one to deliver it. Your power is genuine and formidable, earned through sacrifice that would have broken lesser beings. But examine your victories carefully. Every Sith believed their cause was righteous. The dark side’s cruelest trick is that it agrees with you.

You were forged in fire and reshaped by those who found you at your lowest. You serve, because service gave you structure when you had none. Your allegiance is not to an ideology — it is to survival and to the master who gave you purpose. But there is something buried beneath the conditioning. The Jedi you hunt? You recognize them. Because you remember what it felt like before the choice was taken from you.

You have looked at the Jedi Code and the Sith Code and found both of them incomplete. You walk the line not out of indecision but out of conviction — you genuinely believe both extremes miss something essential. The Jedi don’t fully trust you. The Sith think you’re wasting your potential. They’re both partially right. But so are you.

What Happened to Greef Karga After ‘The Mandalorian’?

The comic picks up on the aftermath of Gorian Shard’s assault from Season 3, with scans revealing that one of the pirate vessels destroyed during the battle was carrying armed torpedoes in underground lava tubes. Karga subsequently sends Din, Grogu, and the Anzellans to disarm them, with the adventure taking place before Mando’s eventual encounter with Colonel Ward (Sigourney Weaver).

Weathers became an integral part of The Mandalorian after Greef Karga was originally conceived as a much smaller role. He ultimately appeared throughout all three seasons and even stepped behind the camera, directing the Season 2 episode “The Siege” and Season 3’s “The Foundling.” Lucasfilm also included a tribute to the actor in The Mandalorian & Grogu. Aurebesh text appearing in the movie translates to “Weathers Apollo,” simultaneously honoring Weathers and his iconic Rocky character Apollo Creed.

The Mandalorian & Grogu – Danger in the Dark is available now.

Katie Holmes’ Reaction To Daughter Cutting Ties With Tom Cruise

Published

on

Katie Holmes

Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri has officially dropped his last name, opting to legally go by “Suri Noelle,” her mother Katie Holmes’ middle name.

While the news has shocked many, an insider close to the family shared that Holmes was not “surprised” by it, noting that it’s not something that “happened overnight.”

Suri’s name change has also renewed scrutiny of her father Tom Cruise’s ties to the Church of Scientology, which is believed to be at the center of their estrangement.

Holmes wasn’t shocked by her daughter’s decision to ditch her dad Cruise’s last name, with an insider hinting that the actress saw it coming because of how “independent” Suri strives to be.

Speaking to Page Six, the source said, “Katie wasn’t surprised by Suri’s decision to legally drop ‘Cruise’ from her last name because that’s just who Suri is.”

“She’s always been incredibly independent and confident in making her own choices,” the insider continued, noting, “This also wasn’t something that happened overnight. It was a decision that evolved over time, and Katie respected Suri’s process every step of the way.”

While it’s unclear when exactly Suri legally changed her name, public data reveals that she updated her information when she signed up to vote in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in October 2024 while she was a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University. She was 18 at the time.

By registering with the name Suri Noelle, the college student confirmed that it was her official legal identity, and according to Pennsylvania courts, all residents who register to vote are mandated to use their real name.

The Name Change Move Was ‘Entirely’ Suri’s Decision: ‘This Wasn’t Something Katie Pushed Or Encouraged’

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes with daughter Suir
MEGA

The Page Six source further shared that Holmes never influenced her daughter into dropping Cruise’s surname, stressing that it was entirely Suri’s decision to adopt a brand new identity that sets her apart from her father.

“This wasn’t something Katie pushed or encouraged. It was entirely Suri’s decision,” the insider explained. “Katie has spent years raising Suri to think for herself and become her own person, and she’s incredibly proud of the confident, independent young woman she’s become.”

They continued, “She’s an adult now, and Katie has always believed those kinds of personal decisions are hers to make.”

Concluding, the source shared that “more than anything, Katie just wants Suri to be happy and live life on her own terms.”

Tom Cruise’s Daughter’s New Name Is In Tribute To Her Mother, Katie Holmes

Suri’s decision to ditch her father’s last name was first noticed in 2024 while she was still in LaGuardia High School. The unexpected shift reportedly served as a heartfelt homage to her mother Holmes, who has raised the teenager largely on her own.

“She is showing praise for her mother by using her middle name,” a source revealed to Page Six at the time, noting that Suri “wants her own identity” to live by, one entirely separate from her estranged father.

The new name initially caught the public’s eye on a casting roster for her high school production of “The Addams Family: A New Musical,” in which she played the role of Morticia Addams.

Her graduation program from LaGuardia High School similarly reflected the update. Furthermore, reports surfaced that her billing for the production of “Head Over Heels” by a local theater also credited her simply as “Suri Noelle.”

The Actor’s Loyalty To Scientology Strained His Relationship With His Daughter After His Split From Katie Holmes

Tom Cruise at
DGP/imageSPACE / MEGA

Amid Cruise’s enduring estrangement from his daughter, experts on the Church of Scientology argue that the actor’s primary allegiance rests firmly with his religion rather than his family.

Speaking with In Touch, expert Tony Ortega noted: “Tom has proven over and over again that his No.1 loyalty is to [his religion] and David Miscavige.”

This sentiment aligns with a 2019 report from Page Six, where actress Leah Remini revealed that Cruise’s standing is unmatched. She asserted he is effectively “second to” Miscavige, the current organizational leader, and is generally “considered a deity within Scientology.”

Remini also debunked the narrative that Cruise is being held against his will by the organization. According to a NewsWeek report in 2023, she clarified that high-profile devotees willingly remain due to the extraordinary social leverage they inherit.

“It’s like nothing you can imagine,” Remini stated. “The amount of power they receive from this Church is like nothing in Hollywood. There is no reason for them to leave this environment.”

Cruise even once admitted in a 2013 deposition that Holmes’ worries about Scientology played a role in their divorce, as the actress, who is a devout Catholic, wanted to protect their daughter from the organization.

Tom Cruise Once Said He Would ‘Always Be There’ For His Kids

Tom Cruise
Snorlax / MEGA

Cruise’s broken relationship with Suri today offers a staggering contrast to the picture-perfect image presented at her birth in 2006.

Back then, the movie star spoke to Vanity Fair, admitting that becoming a father was everything to him, while stressing how important it is for him to be supportive of his children.

“I always said to myself that my children would be able to depend on me and I would always be there for them and love them — that I’d never make a promise to my kids that I couldn’t keep,” Cruise insisted during the chat with the publication.

He further emphasized his deeply involved approach to raising kids, noting, “I’m not one of those people who believe you can spoil a child with too much love. You can never give a child too much love. There’s just no way.”

In addition to Suri, Cruise has two older children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman: Isabella, 33, and Connor, 31.

According to reports, Suri has no relationship with either half-sibling, with insiders claiming that, much like their father, Connor and Isabella’s loyalty to Scientology made it impossible for them to ever connect with Suri.
