Grey’s Anatomy’s Jason George Addresses Return After Exits

GREY’S ANATOMY

Jason George revealed if there are plans for him to return to Grey’s Anatomy for season 23 after the show went through multiple cast exits.

“I think I can confirm that Ben is coming back,” George, 54, exclusively told Us Weekly at the MPTF NextGen Summer Party on Sunday, May 31, confirming his involvement in the hit show’s next season. “I’m pretty certain I’m coming back.”

George, who has played Ben since season 2010, praised the show’s creative team for knowing when to help the story evolve, adding, “They’re not afraid to make the hard decisions in terms of story to keep the story as fresh and alive as possible. But they do it with respect.”

The actor broke down the process of a cast exit.

“As early as possible — as soon as you’re thinking about it — you’ll get a call and a conversation,” he explained. “I remember when I got called to do the spinoff for Station 19. I thought it was a call to [say], ‘Sorry, man, we’re writing Ben off the show.’”

George continued: “I’m thankful because there are shows in Hollywood — you hear the stories — where you find out that you’re leaving the show at the table read. You’re completely notably blindsided. I love the fact that my bosses try to give as much respect as possible in that regard.”

Going into season 23, George is “not worried” about a potential looming exit.

“Every show that gets on the air gets canceled someday,” he continued. “It’s just a matter of if people treat it with respect while you’re going along the path. So that’s what I have and that’s a good time.”

Season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy faced plenty of cast shakeups as the show reduced the minimum guarantees for its veteran cast members to 14 out of its 18 episodes per season. Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd, meanwhile, surprised viewers when they exited the show.

Katherine Heigl, Patrick Dempsey, Justin Chambers and more stars have left Grey’s Anatomy — for various reasons. Created by Shonda Rhimes and starring Ellen Pompeo, Grey’s Anatomy debuted on ABC in 2005. Pompeo (Meredith Grey) left the show as a series regular following season 19 but continued to provide voiceover narration and make special guest […]

“I don’t think they’re going to make a move in the first few episodes. But Kim and Kevin are some of the best people I’ve met my entire time in Hollywood,” George continued during his interview with Us. “We’re dear friends off camera. … I’m sad to see them go. But the fun part is that they’re always gonna be my life.”

Looking ahead, George showed support for the idea of Ben taking a break at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital to appear on the new ABC spinoff slated for a 2027 debut, adding, “[He] should visit Texas at some point in time because he has the skill sets of an EMT, firefighter, anesthesiologist and a surgeon. What else do you need? He’s an entire department unto himself so he should pop into Texas for a heartbeat. I want Ben to keep exploring.”

Grey’s Anatomy is streaming on ABC.

Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge & Steffy Launch Epic Revenge on the Logans!

Published

on

Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) - Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)

Bold and the Beautiful reveals Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) both talked to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) about her leave of absence from Forrester Creations. And at the same time, Ridge was trash talking Katie Logan (Heather Tom) fashion house to Hope.

Steffy’s going to show up and she’s going to do the same thing this week. And then Hope’s going to be sneaking around with Deacon, skulking in the back door over at Logan while lying to her mom and also to Ridge and Steffy about it. When they do find out, I think Hope may be the target of a revenge scheme.

Hope Blames Steffy For Her Exit on Bold and the Beautiful

So, we just saw while talking to Ridge that Hope blamed Steffy for her leave of absence. And Hope said basically she walked out because it’s about how poorly Steffy treated her. Hope said she’s tired of being strung along and pacified by Steffy while her line stays on halt. And after Brooke and Ridge left, Hope talked to Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) and she seemed even more intent on pursuing their fashion dream over at Katie’s fashion house.

Hope said that she was going to call the new line Hope Logan, but also by the end of the week, Steffy is suspicious about Hope’s leave of absence. So, I’m sure that Ridge is going to go back and tell Steffy what Hope said. And that’s why Steffy is going to go over to Brooke’s house to talk to her.

The Truth is Coming Out on Bold

So, bottom line is that while Hope plans to keep her new job at Logan a secret, obviously, we all know the truth is going to come out. The best case for Katie is that the Forresters won’t know about it until Hope’s new line launches. The worst case is they figure it out way before then.

Either way, Brooke’s going to feel betrayed and Ridge and Steffy are going to be beyond furious. And I think they will want payback on Hope because at that point, she would have been lying to their faces for many weeks and sneaking around with Katie, going behind their backs.

A Potential Revenge Hint From Ridge

And Bold and the Beautiful might have just dropped a hint that Ridge and Steffy may come up with this plot and blindside Hope with an absolutely epic revenge move. While Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) were talking to Hope and Deke, we saw Ridge insisting that he doesn’t want Hope to feel disrespected and then Ridge was asking her to come back to Forrester Creations soon. But if it wasn’t for Brooke pressing him, I don’t think Ridge would have talked to Hope or ask her to come back. But at the end of that conversation, that was when the red flag dropped.

Ridge said that Hope for the Future would always be part of Forrester Creations. And at face value, that sounds like that Ridge was trying to be reassuring to Hope. You know, he told Brooke’s daughter that she and her line would always have a place at Forrester Creations. But then when Hope was talking to Deke, she said, “Hope for the Future is the past.” And she’s naming her new line at Logan after herself. Just Hope Logan. And as she told Deacon, she’s putting the Forrester family behind her. But Ridge, Brooke, and Steffy don’t know any of that yet because she’s not being honest.

The Forresters’ Potential Revenge Plan on B&B

And once they find out that Katie hired Hope, the Forresters and Brooke are going to be absolutely appalled that Hope would walk away and leave their company, betray them all, and go over to Logan because in their mind, it’s a betrayal. Especially when Hope knows that they all think that Katie and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) are thieves and villains and just the worst. So, I can see Ridge and Steffy in particular wanting to clap back at Hope and get some revenge.

I think what Ridge said could be foreshadowing that thing about Hope for the Future always being part of Forrester Creations. When word gets out that Hope is at Logan, I suspect Steffy and Ridge may get really, really ruthless because don’t forget a couple of critical things. First of all, Forrester Creations owns the trademark on the brand Hope for the Future. She obviously knows she can’t call it that over at Logan.

Second of all, Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) has a full collection ready to put into production for Hope for the Future. And if you recall, he told Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) he worries it’ll never see the light of day. And with Hope gone, you would think that means exactly that. What Zende fears comes true. His designs could be permanently shelved. But maybe not. Maybe they’ll be used for payback on Katie and Hope and Bill.

How Ridge and Steffy Could Strike Back on Bold and Beautiful

Can you imagine if Ridge and Steffy decide to pull a dirty trick once they find out Hope is over at Logan? You know, they can do this payback plan. No matter when they find out, whether the Forresters learn about Hope’s line before or after Katie releases the new official Hope Logan collection, either way, they can still do some sabotage. Steffy and Ridge could release the Hope for the Future collection that Zende designed because they own the Hope for the Future name and they own Zende’s design. So, they could absolutely do it.

They might even think it’s karma that they owe to Bill and Katie because they released the Eric Forrester (John McCook) collection after he left Logan and when Eric was saying he didn’t want them using his designs. So, Steffy and Ridge could release a Hope branded collection after she leaves Forrester Creations, even knowing that Hope wouldn’t want that, wouldn’t consent, just like Eric didn’t. But just as it was totally legal for Katie and Bill to use Eric’s designs and names because of his contract with Logan, you know, same thing. Steffy and Ridge could use Zende’s design with Hope’s name because of the contract she had signed with Forrester Creations.

Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge Forrester – Steffy Forrester

Steffy & Ridge Steal Hope’s Thunder on B&B

So, Steffy and Ridge might do that to try and steal the headlines from Logan and also to try and keep her fans loyal to Forrester Creations. At a minimum, releasing another collection with Hope’s name on it, either right before or right after her Logan launch would be really problematic. Hope would be furious if Steffy and Ridge reinstated her line after she left, especially because they sidelined her over and over so many times during the last few years. And I think Bill and Katie would be really upset and I think it would amp up the animosity in this fashion rivalry.

The Escalating War on Bold

We know that Bill already wants revenge on Ridge and Brooke and Steffy for how they treated Katie and Hope and now Will. You know, they sidelined them all and drove two of them away, fired the third. And I think if Ridge and Steffy did this, you know, I don’t think Brooke would be on board with it because it would be targeting Hope. However, I’m not sure that they would let Brooke’s disapproval stop them. And of course, they could justify that it was for business reasons so that everyone knows that everything Forrester Creations does is better.

And it would kind of be a repeat of what Ridge and Steffy are doing right now. They’re hustling out a new couture collection by Eric to try and erase the memory of his line at Logan from the public and the fashion press. Just override it, get them to forget it. So yeah, I could see Ridge and Steffy doing the same thing and hustling out that Hope for the Future collection that’s just gathering dust to undermine Hope’s launch at Logan. So if they do this, things might go nuclear, and I think this could be just the beginning. We’ll see what happens.

The Simpsons Officially Drops New Animated Short With an Iconic Game Twist

Published

on

The Simpsons characters in their living room with the Monopoly Man, surrounded by Monopoly game pieces to promote Monopoly Go!

The Simpsons just released a new animated short that packs a surprising number of gags and references into just a few minutes. The legendary cartoon is promoting a new crossover with the Monopoly Go! mobile game, but it’s not phoning in the collaboration. The short — which comes in just under four minutes — pairs Mr. Burns (Harry Shearer) with Mr. Monopoly, who is voiced here by Will Ferrell. The two get competitive about who wears their wealth with more style, hinting at the kind of dynamic that could spring up between users in Monopoly Go! It’s a surprisingly organic means of bringing these two brands together, and another sign that The Simpsons could be making a comeback in the video game medium.

Whether you’re a mobile game fan or not, if you love The Simpsons, this animated short is worth a watch. It speed-runs a story pitting Mr. Burns against “‘ole Monopoly,” who turns out to be an old rival. We get some flashbacks to the two facing off in their youth with some deep-cut references to Monopoly lore — Burns refers to the Monopoly Man by his canonical surname, Pennybags, and a flashback implies that Burns helped establish some of the player pieces in the Monopoly board game.

The short is pretty clearly an ad, but it leaves time for some jokes you might expect to see in any Simpsons episode. Both Burns and Pennybags crack jokes about billionaires and privilege, and they even star in a Real Housewives parody called “Real Rich Guys of Springfield.” It’s a strong case of a true brand tie-in, persuading viewers that there’s a reason they’re seeing these two worlds collide.

‘The Simpsons’ Sell ‘Monopoly Go!’ Seamlessly

Monopoly is over a century old now, and this new mobile board game is a spin-off in every sense. First released in 2023, Monopoly Go! resembles a stripped-down version of the original repurposed for single players and an infinite loop of gameplay. Players start out with ownership of all properties on the board and play for in-game money to upgrade their landmarks. The usual trips around the board are occasionally interrupted by mini-games and “events” like “Treasure Hunts” and “Bank Heists.” The game can be played alone or with other players on their own devices.

The game has been wildly successful — it was the biggest mobile game launch of 2023 with over $1 billion in revenue, and it has remained strong ever since. In-game microtransactions and ads have kept the game profitable for its creator, Scopely, and it’s no surprise that studios are eager to get in on the action with properties like The Simpsons. That said, this crossover is shaping up to be a surprisingly great fit, with little contrivance needed to bring the brands together.

The most brilliant move these advertisers made was to focus on Mr. Burns, rather than a more central character. In another world, this might have been a tough sell — not only leaning on a side character, but vilifying the Monopoly Man in the process. However, the Simpson family gets their time to shine as well, and they’re in the right context for monopoly. This short doesn’t shy away from the fact that Mr. Burns and Pennybags are the players in this game, while Homer, Bart, and others are just pieces on the board.

This was an intentional choice, according to 20th Century Games executive Josh Drake. In an interview with IGN ahead of this game’s release, he said that finding a real connection between the brands was a part of the plan from the outset. He said that in conversations between the studio and the game developers, Drake and his team urged them to “be subversive, be Simpson-y. Don’t just be a butt-kissy, pointless brand collaboration.”

The timing was also great for The Simpsons, who are fresh off a few other video game successes. The quintessential suburban family appeared in Fortnite last year, just as the show’s own mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out was finally delisted. Fans are hoping to see more of The Simpsons in a playable format soon, with some classic games up for re-masters. In the meantime, The Simpsons Season 37 is due to return from hiatus on June 17 on Fox and Disney+. The Simpsons Monopoly Go! crossover event is going on now through July 29 in the app.

Prince Harry Enjoyed Solo Night Ahead Of Lilibet’s Birthday

Published

on

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arriving at Euston Station

Prince Harry attended a friend’s book launch without his wife, Meghan Markle, just days before the couple marked their daughter Princess Lilibet’s birthday.

Meghan has frequently faced criticism for posting photos of Archie and Lilibet on social media while simultaneously campaigning for children’s online safety. The Duchess’ team has now pushed back against the backlash, however, explaining there is a deliberate method behind her posts.

Harry’s recent outing also comes amid fresh claims that the self-exiled royals may be facing financial pressure and could eventually need to “downsize.”

Harry took a break from all the recent drama surrounding him and his estranged family as he stepped out for a rare casual night on the town without Meghan.

The Duke of Sussex attended the launch of his friend José Andrés’ new cookbook, “Spain My Way.”

For the outing, Harry kept things polished in a navy-toned look, pairing a blazer with a shirt and jeans. Andrés is a close friend of the Sussexes and even appeared on Meghan’s Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” making her absence from the event more noticeable.

In photos shared online, Harry was seen smiling as he posed with Andrés and other guests at San Laurel, the chef’s restaurant on the 10th floor of Conrad Los Angeles.

Other famous faces at the event included conductor Gustavo Dudamel, journalist Maria Shriver, actors Kyra Sedgwick and Tyler James Williams, and chefs Wolfgang Puck and Roy Choi, among others, per Hello! Magazine.

Harry’s outing came days before his youngest child, Princess Lilibet, turned 5 on Thursday, June 4.

To mark the occasion, Meghan took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself and Harry smiling as he held Lilibet in his arms. In another image, the young princess was seen admiring a flower, seemingly in the garden of the family’s Montecito home, with her face turned away from the camera.

“Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili,” Meghan captioned the post, adding a white heart emoji.

For Lilibet’s birthday last year, Meghan also shared a carousel of family moments and later gushed over how their daughter’s arrival had made their lives “brighter and better.”

Meghan has often come under fire from social media users over the way she shares photos of her children online.

Since returning to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex has posted several images of Archie and Lilibet, though their faces are typically hidden, blurred, or turned away from the camera.

Critics have argued that the posts appear to clash with Meghan’s public advocacy for children’s online safety, claiming she is still exposing the children to attention and commentary.

Meghan’s Team Pushes Back Against Online Criticism

Meghan’s team has rejected the criticism aimed at her for posting her children online. A spokesperson for the Duchess told Newsweek that there is a clear difference between sharing family moments and exposing children to public scrutiny.

“The Duchess has always been clear that there is a distinction between sharing moments from her life and exposing her children to public scrutiny,” the spokesperson said. “By obscuring their faces, she is demonstrating the very principle she advocates for: giving children privacy, agency, and protection in an increasingly digital world.”

The spokesperson added, “Far from being contradictory, by concealing their faces she is actually reflecting the message she delivered in Geneva: that parents can choose to share family experiences while still taking deliberate steps to protect identities, privacy, and digital footprint.”

Prince Harry And Meghan Reportedly Face Cost-Cutting Pressure

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan continue to face rumors about their finances after several major business ventures failed to deliver long-term stability.

The couple’s Spotify deal ended, and their Netflix partnership has also evolved beyond the original terms. Meghan’s luxury lifestyle brand has similarly drawn questions over whether it has taken off as expected.

During an appearance on “The Royal Uncensored Podcast,” commentator Maureen Callahan claimed the Sussexes may need to reduce their expenses, pointing to reports that their cost of living remains high.

“They are having a lot of trouble monetizing what they used to monetize, which is their connection to the Royal Family, which was secrets of the Royal Family,” Callahan said. “The information supply has been choked off.”

“So, the stories are that they may need to downsize from that $14m Montecito mansion,” she continued, while also weighing in on rumors that Meghan may be looking for acting work.

Brooke Shields Explains Message Behind You’re Killing Me

Published

Everything to Know About RHOSLC Alum Jen Shah's Legal Drama

Brooke Shields latest project is a prime example of art imitating life.

On Acorn TV’s You’re Killing Me (new episodes weekly through June 22), the beloved actress plays bestselling novelist Allie, who’s entering a new era of her life.

“She was a woman of my age who had still so much to offer and so much to experience and create,” Shields, 60, who also executive produces, exclusively told Us Weekly in our latest issue, on newsstands now.

Despite her boundless possibilities, Allie is “met with… this message that she’s done,” she said. “She hit a certain age and she has no value anymore… I wanted to be able to highlight that, then bring in a younger generation where [the two] can combine and communicate and be better than the sum of their parts.”

Enter Andi (Amalia Williamson). The characters form an unlikely partnership to solve murders — including the mysterious death of Allie’s friend — in their small New England town, much to the chagrin of local police detective Jack (Ed’s Tom Cavanagh).

“There’s so much that’s layered into how these two women communicate, who come from very different ages and different experiences,” Shields said. “That was the heart of it.”

“They don’t realize that they need each other to get things done,” Williamson, 26, whose Andi is an ambitious podcaster, explained to Us. “Allie is the people person. She gets the interviews, she finds out what makes people tick, she’s the motive queen. Andi’s the forensics.”

Based on the Belgian series Clan, Bad Sisters is a dark comedy thriller about the five Garvey sisters: Eva (Sharon Horgan), Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene), and Becka (Eva Hewson). The first season takes place over two timelines. In the past, Grace was married to a horrible, abusive man named Jean Paul (Claes Bang). In the present, Jean Paul has just mysteriously died, and Grace’s sisters are desperate to cover up their role in his death.

Over the course of the past timeline, Jean Paul pushes the sisters to their limits, until they have no choice but to start planning his murder. They have no experience, though, so the whole process is more trial and error. Bad Sisters has a dark and sharply funny sense of humor, but it is also a deeply compelling and intense thriller series. In the past timeline, the sisters have to deal with Jean Paul’s worsening threats against them while trying to figure out a way to make it stop. In the present, they have to try to hide their possible involvement from the insurance agents looking into Jean Paul’s death.

After following a target to an LA acting class, Barry suddenly falls in love with acting, and he becomes determined to find a way to balance these two very different lives.

Each season of Barry is an intense and carefully crafted installment that takes the series in an even darker direction. While the series is very funny, it is also very suspenseful, as outside threats in Barry’s world as a hitman pose a danger to the new life that he’s found. With each episode, Barry gets more entangled in both his life as a hitman and in the many lies that he has constructed in order to try to keep it a secret.

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

Yellowjackets is one of the most addictive thriller series, both of the 21st century and of all time. The series follows the Yellowjackets, a girls’ high school soccer team whose plane crashed on the way to Nationals, leaving them stranded in the wilderness for a year and a half. The show takes place over two timelines: the past, when the Yellowjackets are stranded, and the present, where the survivors have all tried to move on in the 25 years that have since passed.

Both of the Yellowjackets timelines are incredibly intense and impossible to look away from. At the center of the show is the question of how far their time in the wilderness pushed the Yellowjackets, not just to survive, but to gain power and a connection to the wilderness. In the present, everything that they’ve tried to bury from that time in their lives starts to resurface, and they have to figure out how to keep it all hidden.

Severance takes place in a dystopian future where nearly everything is controlled by a powerful and corrupt company called Lumon Industries. Mark Scout (Adam Scott) is a grieving widower who chose to become one of Lumon’s severed employees, getting a procedure that separated his work self from his outside self. Now, Mark’s “innie” is confined to a life only at work, while his “outie” has no idea what he really does.

There is no 21st-century thriller series with better plot twists than Severance. The series starts off with multiple main storylines that hint at something larger without revealing much to the viewer. It soon starts to unravel these storylines, giving a deeper look into just what Lumon is doing, both on the severed floor and outside of it. Severance is an intense and mind-bending thriller series that is perfect for binge-watching and will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

Jessi Draper’s Love Life Takes Unexpected Turn After Divorce

Published

on

Jessi Draper at Hulu's Get Real House Red Carpet

Jessi Draper may be stepping into a brand-new chapter, and this time, it could include romance. Following a highly publicized split from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star is putting herself back out there in a big way as a featured guest on “He Said G Said: Star Crossed,” the matchmaking series hosted by former reality stars Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann. And according to the hosts, Jessi’s dating journey may have led to something surprisingly real.

The episode, which was released today, June 4, follows Jessi Draper as she navigates life after heartbreak and opens herself up to the possibility of finding love again, something Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann said she was more than ready for.

Unlike many reality TV dating setups, Jessi wasn’t recruited for the experience; she sought it out herself. “She reached out to us,” Gibelli revealed during an interview with The Blast, explaining that Draper had been interacting with content surrounding “Star-Crossed” before finally making her interest known.

“She was like, ‘You know what? I need a good man. This sounds so fun,’” Gibelli shared, admitting she initially wasn’t sure how serious Draper was. But after continued conversations, it became clear the “Mormon Wives” personality was fully invested in giving love another shot. “She was all game,” Horstmann added. “She was like, ‘Let’s do it. Find me a man.’”

For the pair, helping Jessi find a meaningful connection felt like an easy “yes,” especially after watching parts of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and getting a glimpse into her life online. “We were just like, yeah, she deserves better,” Gibelli said.

Why Weston Richey Felt Like The Right Match

When it came time to find Jessi a potential partner, the duo said one name quickly rose to the top: Weston Richey, known to reality TV fans from “Perfect Match.”

According to the hosts, Jessi made it clear she wasn’t just casually dating; she wanted a “man.” “We just felt like he was a man,” Horstmann said of Weston, describing him as grounded, positive, and mature.

The hosts also felt the pairing made sense because both Jessi and Weston are independent and successful in their own right. “She’s a business owner. She’s very independent,” Horstmann explained, noting that Weston shared similar qualities. “I felt like they wouldn’t be intimidated by each other’s successes or pasts.”

Gibelli agreed, adding that Weston’s calm demeanor could offer balance to Jessi during a particularly chaotic season of life. “He is very much that grounding type of personality,” she said.

Sparks Flew Faster Than Expected

While reality dating shows are often filled with awkward silences and uncomfortable small talk, Gibelli and Horstmann said Jessi’s experience unfolded very differently. In fact, things appeared to click so naturally that the hosts felt like they barely needed to do their jobs. “After a while, I literally just threw my cards away because I was like, we don’t even need to be here anymore,” Gibelli admitted.

According to the hosts, Jessi and Weston quickly began bouncing off each other in conversation, effortlessly carrying the date without much guidance. “We were just watching a date,” Horstmann added.

For a show built around blind matchmaking, the easy chemistry was an encouraging sign, and potentially a promising one for Jessi’s future.

Draper’s Divorce Took A Painful Public Turn

Jessi’s dating journey comes after a deeply turbulent chapter in her personal life. Jordan Ngatikaura filed for divorce from Draper in March 2026 after five years of marriage. At the time, Draper publicly claimed the filing “blindsided” her, saying the two had allegedly agreed to wait before sharing the news with their children.

The split quickly became messy and public.

Draper later appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where she alleged Ngatikaura emotionally abused her, hacked her social media accounts, and blackmailed her. She also shared screenshots that she claimed showed her estranged husband using escort services and attending sex parties during their marriage. Ngatikaura has not publicly responded to those specific allegations.

The divorce followed an already rocky stretch for the couple, who previously separated after Draper admitted to an emotional affair with “Vanderpump Villa” star Marciano Brunette before briefly attempting reconciliation through therapy. “I definitely would change having an affair,” she previously shared. “I definitely wouldn’t want to do that again, especially publicly. Definitely a huge mistake.”

Since then, Draper has been candid with fans about healing, focusing on herself, and re-entering the dating world. And if “Star-Crossed” is any indication, her love life may finally be taking a hopeful turn.

Below Deck Med’s Joe Bradley Defends Return After Messy Season

Published

on

Captain Sandy: Hannah Is 'Still Angry' Following 'Below Deck Med' Firing

Joe Bradley knows his history on Below Deck Mediterranean is tumultuous — to say the least — but that didn’t stop him from trying to redeem himself this season despite personal struggles and a falling out with friend Nathan Gallagher.

“I’m in this industry to win. I know what I’m capable of in terms of professional capabilities. At this point, I’m absolutely thriving,” Joe exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of Below Deck Med‘s return on Monday, June 8. “Captain Sandy gave me the call — and regardless of who the bosun was going to be — I didn’t mind.”

Joe’s main focus was making Captain Sandy proud. “I can take it on the chin,” he added. “I need to do a job at the end of the day — and I know I do it well. So I wasn’t scared. I was ready with everything. Every inch of effort and motivation, I was ready to join that boat.”

In a not-so-surprising turn of events, Joe’s once close friend Nathan was once again his bosun. But while their first season together in 2024 sparked a friendship, they ultimately were at odds by the time they reunited one year later.

As soon as you step foot on a Below Deck Mediterranean charter yacht, you’re guaranteed one thing: a whole lot of drama. Throughout its Bravo run, crew members like Captain Sandy Yawn, Hannah Ferrier, Malia White and more have been know to butt heads with each other — all with the purpose of delivering a […]

“I’m a very passive person. So if you put me in any situation, at the end of the day, I’m here to do a job — regardless of any relationship on board,” he explained. “I’m going to make sure Captain Sandy is happy with me and happy with my capabilities.”

Joe revealed to Us that he was navigating personal issues before joining Akira One, saying, “My mom got diagnosed [with a health issue] and I went to look after [her], so I didn’t go back into work after season 10. She’s OK now. She had four tumors and it has been a battle. … But the beauty of this life is that this is my only financial income. The yachting industry has not only saved my life, but it’s quite literally [saved] my mom’s life financially. It’s a blessing.”

The deckhand used that positive perspective when choosing to return to Below Deck Meddespite the possible backlash from viewers.

“You will see a level of growth [this season] because I felt it. You will see that I’m comfortable in my own skin on board. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a bit boisterous at times,” he continued. “That’s where Nathan [and I differ]. I can actually be social, but I have a good time as well and do my job well. You will see growth and you will see a level of change because I’m fed up with all these [love] triangles now.”

As Below Deck Med viewers know quite well, Joe was entangled in a love triangle in season 9 with Elena Dubaich and Bri Muller. He later found himself in trouble during season 10 due to his connections with both Kizzi Kitchener and Victoria SanJuan, with the latter leading to Nathan cutting ties with Joe because of how he handled the situation.

“I’ve learned my lesson and I really do hope that you see it on this season. My job is my main priority,” he told Us before addressing the strong offscreen reaction to his presence in the franchise. “I’m going to say my [biggest] regret right now was the situation with Victoria, I could have handled that very differently. I could have handled that in a mature manner.”

He continued: “I was just boisterous. Obviously, we haven’t had any contact yet. But if I could sit down with her today, I would apologize. If she allows me one day to actually get all around and say I’m sorry for what I’ve done, I will do that.”

Joe wasn’t as surprised by the strong reaction from viewers.

Viewers have had a front row seat to some of the biggest reality TV feuds since the Below Deck franchise debuted. The show’s spinoff series Below Deck Mediterranean shocked viewers when Hannah Ferrier and Captain Sandy Yawn‘s inability to see eye to eye turned into the most memorable firing to date. Since the captain joined […]

“I understand it’s not a comfortable position — even just being a viewer. Watching myself back, I have learned from the situation. I’m really focused [on] my job right now,” he shared. “I am taming it down [in my romantic life on board] to just being one person. I don’t need to be greedy anymore. I’ve had my and I’m just ready to get the job done.”

In addition to his romantic life, Joe had to face Nathan after they fell out of touch. Joe clarified that he tried to get in contact with Nathan beforehand when seeing that he was about to welcome a baby with their former coworker Gael Cameron. Joe didn’t hear back from Nathan before they reunited in season 11.

“It doesn’t bother me in the slightest. At the end of the day, I can’t say too much, but I know who Nathan is. He’s a horrible little man, so his words don’t affect me,” Joe said. “So going into the season, what I am going to say is I went in with chest high — regardless [of] who was there. … I work my absolute [hardest]. I work my hardest every single day.”

Looking ahead, Joe is hopeful that the work he put into season 11 could lead to another return — maybe this time as a bosun. “I have never been so ready in my life,” he told Us.

Below Deck Med airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
