Carmen Electra embraced every inch of her nutritious breakfast while visiting the European city of Berlin.

Electra, who rose to fame as lifeguard Lani McKenzie on the original iteration of Baywatch between 1997 and 1998, recently spoke to Us about Fox’s upcoming Baywatch reboot. Discussing one of the series’ new stars Brooks Nader, Electra stressed the need to maintain peak physical fitness to nail the role. “Basically [I] said, ‘Just be ready. Make sure that you’re in your top physical shape,’” she told Us on August 6 before adding that “running in the sand, diving over [and] jumping over waves, diving into the water” isn’t as easy as it sounds.

“You’re going to be coming out of the water, looking into the camera, and they’re going to say, ‘Don’t close your eyes.’ And your eyes are going to be burning,” she recalled telling Nader, 29. Despite the saltwater potentially affecting one’s vision, Electra reiterated that Nader will need to “open those beautiful eyes, and [she’s] going to need to look gorgeous coming out of that water, and you know the slow-motion run.”

Electra’s Baywatch series premiered on NBC in 1989 and focused on California lifeguards — with David Hasselhoff at the helm — who saved lives as beachgoers swam, encountered sharks and came up against the odd serial killer.
