Mark Wahlberg’s Best Crime Caper Is Officially Chasing Waterfalls on a New Streamer
Although he’s still a popular name, the recent run of movies for Mark Wahlberg has been wince-inducing. 2024’s Arthur the King aside, Wahlberg has not had a performance rank more than 48% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes in eight long years. From his team-up with director Mel Gibson in the action thriller Flight Risk and the disappointing Prime Video original heist thriller Play Dirty, to the action sequel, The Family Plan 2, and the disastrous recent soccer comedy Balls Up, it’s a tough time to be a Wahlberg fan.
It feels like a long time since Wahlberg earned either of his Academy Award nominations or any of his 9 Primetime Emmy nominations, but the former Marky Mark still boasts an impressive filmography. After making a name for himself in gritty, intense movies, Wahlberg’s career took a sharp comedic turn in 2010 when he teamed up with Hollywood’s resident funnyman Will Ferrell in the brilliant buddy cop satire The Other Guys, which earned plenty of praise upon arrival.
Also starring Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson, albeit for less time than you might imagine, The Other Guys couldn’t return a strong box office haul during the second half of 2010. Against a bloated budget of $100 million, the movie only earned $170 million worldwide, split between a domestic haul of $119 million and a further $51 million from overseas markets. 16 years later, and perfect for those looking for a break from disappointing recent Wahlberg comedies, The Other Guys is officially joining a new streamer. Starting June 1, you can watch the hilarious buddy cop comedy on Starz in the U.S.
What Can You See Mark Wahlberg in Next?
After such a poor run of movies, Wahlberg will be hoping to break the trend with his next project, the historical crime thriller By Any Means. “A notorious mafia hitman and a young Black FBI agent team up to investigate the murders of civil rights leaders in Mississippi in 1966,” reads the logline for the film, which stars Wahlberg alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Giancarlo Esposito, Nicole Beharie, David Strathairn, Josh Lucas, and Ethan Embry. As it stands, the Paramount project is scheduled for release in theaters on Labor Day (September 4, 2026).
The Other Guys will be streaming on Starz starting June 1, 2026. Stay tuned to Collider for more streaming stories.

8 Years Later, This Crowd-Pleasing Romantic Hit Is the Perfect Comfort-Watch on Streaming
Romantic comedies are typically relegated to streaming platforms these days, but some of them break through and when they do, they tend to do extremely well. The most recent example was 2023’s Anyone but You, but 5 years earlier, another glossy rom-com made the big leap and became more than a box office hit. It actually ended up being something of a cultural phenomenon.
Based on Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novel, Crazy Rich Asians follows Rachel Chu, a New York economics professor who travels to Singapore with her boyfriend, Nick Young, only to discover that he comes from one of the wealthiest families in Asia. You’d think that would be a bonus, but not in this story. What begins as a romantic trip quickly turns into a full-blown battlefield, as Rachel has to navigate the snobbery of old money, familial expectations, judgmental relatives, and Nick’s absolute monster of a mother, Eleanor.
Crazy Rich Asians stars Constance Wu (Hustlers) as Rachel Chu; Henry Golding (The Gentlemen) as Nick Young; Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) as Eleanor Young, Nick’s protective mother; Gemma Chan (Eternals) as Astrid Leong-Teo, Nick’s cousin; and Lisa Lu (The Last Emperor) as Shang Su Yi, the family’s matriarch. Awkwafina, Ken Jeong, Sonoya Mizuno, and Chris Pang also make appearances as extended family members and friends. Comedians Ronny Chieng and Jimmy O. Yang fill out the cast, alongside Nico Santos, Jing Lusi, and Harry Shum Jr.
How Successful Was ‘Crazy Rich Asians’?
Unbelievably so. It grossed about $239 million worldwide against a reported $30 million budget, which is huge for a romantic comedy without much in the way of A-list stars. In North America alone, it made about $174.5 million, with another $64 million internationally. The movie opened at No. 1, then had an almost ridiculous second-weekend drop of only around 6%, which is the kind of hold studios dream about. It eventually became the highest-grossing romantic comedy of the 2010s, as well as one of the most beloved, with a 91% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
Crazy Rich Asians is streaming now on HBO Max.

What Is Farm to Table? How the Movement Connects Farms, Food to People
Walk into a restaurant today and you’ll likely see a menu that reads like a road map: the name of the dairy that supplied the cheese, the ranch behind the steak, the farm down the road that grew the tomatoes. That shift didn’t happen by accident. The farm to table movement has reshaped how restaurants source food, how chefs build menus and how diners think about what’s on the plate — and its influence on grocery aisles, farmers markets and home kitchens keeps growing.
The idea sounds simple, but the philosophy behind it has changed an entire industry. Here’s what farm to table actually means, why it matters and how home cooks can tap into it.
What Does Farm to Table Mean?
At its core, farm to table describes food sourced directly from local farms, ranches, dairies or producers, with fewer middlemen between growers and consumers. The emphasis is on freshness, seasonality and transparency, and it’s often tied to sustainable agriculture and supporting local economies.
In practice, the term is most closely associated with restaurants that build direct relationships with the people who grow their ingredients.
Molly Watson, writing for The Spruce Eats, explains: “More commonly, the use of farm-to-table emphasizes a direct relationship between a farm and a restaurant. Rather than buying through a distributor or a food service, some restaurants establish relationships with farms and buy directly from them. Farmers benefit by being able to reap more of the profit their goods can earn at market, and many enjoy knowing how their food will be treated and cooked.”
That two-way relationship — chef knows farmer, farmer knows chef — is what separates a true farm-to-table operation from a restaurant that simply markets “local” ingredients.
The clearest sign of the movement’s reach is on the menu itself. Restaurants now rotate dishes with the seasons rather than printing the same lineup year-round. Many name the specific farms supplying their produce, meat and dairy. Hyper-local ingredients — sometimes grown within miles of the kitchen — have become a selling point, not a footnote.
The result is a dining culture that prizes ingredient quality and provenance over consistency. A tomato dish in July looks nothing like one in February, and that’s the point.
Why Farm to Table Matters for Diners and Farmers
The appeal cuts in two directions. Diners get fresher food and a clearer picture of where it came from. Farmers receive a larger share of the profits from their goods and greater control over how their products are used. Cutting out distributors shortens the supply chain, which supporters argue is better for local economies and for the environment.
The movement has also pushed mainstream grocers and chain restaurants to highlight sourcing — a sign that what started in independent kitchens has reshaped expectations across the food industry.
How Home Cooks Can Embrace Farm to Table
You don’t need a restaurant kitchen to cook this way. Chef Erling Wu-Bower told Samantha Lande in a Food Network piece: “For the home cook, talking to farmers at your local farmers market, or visiting a farm near where you live, is a great way to get you closer to their products personally.”
Head to a true farmers market and you’ll likely spot chefs inspecting greens, tasting fruits and plotting nightly specials of farm-to-table dishes — the same approach any home cook can take. Ask questions, taste before you buy and build meals around what’s in season instead of a fixed shopping list. That’s the entire philosophy in miniature.

Time Is Running Out To Watch One of the Most Intense War Movies Ever Made
The story behind this Oscar-winning movie’s big night in Hollywood has almost as many twists and turns as the movie itself. It will always be linked to Avatar, partly because this lean, nerve-shredding Iraq War thriller beat James Cameron’s giant sci-fi blockbuster for Best Picture. And what’s even funnier is that its director, Kathryn Bigelow, was married to Cameron once upon a time. Talk about a domestic dispute for the ages.
The Hurt Locker follows an elite Explosive Ordnance Disposal team during the Iraq War, with our focus squarely on Staff Sergeant William James, a bomb technician who seems terrifyingly comfortable when he’s around things that are about to go boom. As James joins Sergeant J.T. Sanborn and Specialist Owen Eldridge, the team moves from one life-or-death situation to another, with each mission showing us how differently these men respond to fear, pressure, and the possibility of dying at any second. We would not do well here.
The Hurt Locker stars Jeremy Renner (The Avengers) as Sergeant First Class William James, Anthony Mackie (Captain America: Brave New World) as Sergeant J.T. Sanborn, Brian Geraghty (Flight) as Specialist Owen Eldridge, Guy Pearce (L.A. Confidential) as Staff Sergeant Matt Thompson, Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) as Contractor Team Leader, David Morse (The Green Mile) as Colonel Reed, Evangeline Lilly (Real Steel) as Connie James, and Christopher Sayegh (The Stoning of Soraya M.) as Beckham.
Was ‘The Hurt Locker’ a Success?
In a manner of speaking, The Hurt Locker was a genuine critical sensation and an awards success, but it was actually only a modest box office hit. That’s not to say it didn’t do relatively well, though, as it grossed about $49.9 million worldwide against a reported $15 million budget, so it did make money theatrically, but it was never a mainstream breakout. Domestically, it made only about $17 million, which is tiny compared to most Best Picture winners.
Where it really succeeded was awards season. The Hurt Locker earned nine Oscar nominations and won six, including Best Picture, Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow, and Best Original Screenplay for Mark Boal. Bigelow also became the first woman to win the Oscar for Best Director, which was worth more than any box office total.
The Hurt Locker leaves Prime Video on May 31.

Supa Hot Fire Knocks Out Ray J in Las Vegas Boxing Match
Controversial rapper Ray J suffered a second round knockout loss to popular YouTuber Supa Hot Fire in a celebrity MMA boxing match.
The singer, 45, took on the influencer, 35, in a co-main MMA fight at internet personality Adin Ross’ UFC Apex event in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 23.
At around the 2:50 mark in the second round, the pair exchanged a few missed punches while smiling at each other. As they danced around the ring, they seemed to talk to each other and make light of the fight. As the seconds ticked down, Ray J had Supa Hot Fire up on the ropes before the YouTuber landed with a single punch to the rapper’s face near the 2:35 mark, disorienting Ray J to the point that he fell into the ropes before hitting the canvas.
The referee quickly intervened and called the match, marking a KO loss for Ray J, real name William Ray Norwood Jr.
An arguably even more fiery exchange occurred after the match, when Ray J — the brother of Brandy Norwood who famously dated Kim Kardashian — seemingly suggested that the celebrity fight was somehow rigged.

“Like a motherf***er bro. Damn bro. Like that?” Ray J told Supa Hot Fire after the fight. “For real … that’s janky as f***.”
“Say what you gotta say man,” the post-fight in-ring interviewer told Ray J.
“I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to get nobody in trouble, but damn … we took an L tonight,” Ray J responded.
“We didn’t take s***, your ass was over here … you want me to show you what you did?” the interviewer said before walking to the area where Ray J fell. “Where was ya’ll at? … he took one punch.”
Ray J then walked away from the interviewer, which seemed to bother the in-ring commentator even more.
“Ray J, this is professional man. You can’t just do what the f***… you can talk backstage,” he told the rapper while speaking into the microphone. “I ain’t even gonna interview ya’ll.”
As Ray J returned to the interviewer, the microphone picked up the rapper talking to the YouTuber, saying, “You know how much money we lost?”
“We didn’t think you was gonna win — so how ya’ll lost money? That’s a good method … if I got my ass knocked out. Look at that … you got one of those cartoon lumps,” the interviewer interjected, commenting on the welt forming on Ray J’s forehead as a result of the influencer’s punch and his knockout loss.
Ray J has been the center of controversy for some time, especially as of late when the rapper claimed he didn’t have long to live due to unspecified health issues.
“2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” he claimed in a video shared via social media on January 27. “That’s what they say.”
The singer added at the time, “I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro. My baby mama gonna be straight, my kids gonna be straight. If they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it. I did my part here. And damn, when it’s all done, burn me, don’t bury me.”
One month prior, Ray J was arrested for allegedly threatening his estranged wife, Princess Love. At the time, TMZ reported that the rapper said he had “the worst Thanksgiving in the f***ing world” before he appeared to pull a gun on Princess Love during a livestream video.

Fans Worry For Caleb Shomo’s Wife After Coming Out Gay
Beartooth fans are reacting to the news that the band’s lead singer, Caleb Shomo, is a “proudly gay man.” While his followers are showing support for the 33-year-old, they’re also expressing concern for his wife, Fleur Shomo, who broke her silence on the matter just hours ago.

On Reddit, fans of the rock band have been sharing their thoughts on the news that the group’s lead singer, Caleb Shomo, is gay.
He opened up about his sexuality in an Instagram post after months of “speculation.” In the post, Shomo called himself a “proudly gay man” before saying his sexuality is something he’s struggled with his entire life.
“It’s been difficult to navigate the feelings surrounding the subject and figure out what to do with this fact,” he said.
On Reddit, some of the band’s fans have reacted, with one saying they were “definitely a bit surprised” by his admission. Another Redditor said, “I hope he finds happiness and support, and am glad he found the strength to be true to himself. There’s enough hate in this world without us hating ourselves.”
Beartooth Fans Are Expressing Concern For Fleur Shomo, Caleb’s Wife, After He Makes A Personal Admission

While the support continued, other users also expressed concern for Caleb’s wife, Fleur, who opened up about the end of their 14-year marriage in an Instagram post of her own.
“Sucks his marriage fell apart over it as I know his wife stood by him with all the substance abuse, but you can’t change who you are so I say good for him,” one user wrote.
“I wonder what this means for his marriage and his wife. Obviously — I imagine — they discussed this in depth. I feel really bad for her, but I’m happy for him. I hope he feels free,” a second user shared.
“Good for him, but his poor wife. It has to be pretty traumatic to have your whole world be turned upside down like this,” someone else added.
“14 years of marriage, sacrifice, love & compassion… to end up turning out to be gay. Idk man, kudos to Caleb for being honest with himself because that’s a very big step, but I genuinely feel terrible for his wife though. 14 years is a big chunk outta yours & your wife’s life to just leave behind man,” said a fourth user.
Caleb Shomo Attempted To Use His Music To Address His Personal Life, But Could Never Get To ‘The Roots’
In his post, Caleb said he had been using Beartooth’s music to vocalize some of what he’d been struggling with. However, Caleb explained that he was fighting bigger issues than he realized, stopping him from getting to “the roots” of who he was.
“As you could gather if you’ve followed the band at all in the earlier years, there are 4 very self deprecating albums about exploring my religious upbringing, depression, self hatred, and hopelessness. I am grateful for all these albums, yet feel embarrassed at times that I wouldn’t allow myself to really dig up the roots for so long,” he said.
Caleb’s Wife Breaks Her Silence With A Heartfelt Post, Showing Support While Acknowledging Her Hurt
Caleb’s wife, Fleur, acknowledged her husband’s post with one of her own, admitting she was struggling to come to terms with what she’d been dealing with.
“Not really sure how to start this cause does anything even need to be said? But I guess I’ll just dive right in,” she wrote. “The past few months have been a very disorientating and hurtful time to navigate. For both of us. But I will always want to love, protect and support Caleb. I have cared more about his well being over the years than anything else in the world.”
Fleur Is Struggling To Support Herself Amid This Change
Continuing, Fleur noted the “confusion and pain” her husband likely went through over the years, adding that she’s glad he’s finally found the courage to speak.
Elsewhere in her post, Fleur got candid about how challenging it has been to deal with her husband’s revelation. “To support him whilst losing everything has been incredibly hard to figure out. You can love and support your person through the hardest time in their life, whilst also be completely demolished & lose yourself at the same time,” she explained.
She finished her post with even more love for Caleb, saying, “I hope anyone in the world going through this finds hope & courage & I hope the fans can continue to support Caleb. For now I’m going to keep focusing on what I can control & continue living my life trying to achieve what I want to achieve. And if I keep saying hi to as many dogs as possible along the way, then I’m sure things will slowly get better, day by day, piece by small piece, bird by bird.”

Amy Robach, T.J. Holmes Plan Move Abroad Amid Struggles
Former “GMA3” stars Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are reportedly considering moving abroad.
Sources claim the couple has been struggling to make a comeback since their careers were severely impacted by their affair scandal and are now looking to “reinvent” themselves.
This comes after T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach confirmed they have a wedding date, months after announcing their engagement.

The former news anchors are said to be finding it difficult to thrive and make a comeback in the US since their widely publicized firing from ABC.
This has reportedly made them consider moving to Europe in hopes of reinventing themselves while still working on their joint podcast.
“They’re thinking it’s time to reinvent themselves and see what’s out there — most likely in Europe,” a source told a media outlet. “They can still do their Amy & T.J. podcasts from there as well as explore other opportunities, like investing and writing.”
Robach herself had hinted about wanting to live abroad during an appearance on “Bill And Giuliana: The Podcast,” noting it’s on her and Holmes’ “bucket list.”
However, according to the source, Robach and Holmes have been struggling to find their footing, which is likely the reason why they want to relocate in hopes of starting afresh and leaving their workplace affair scandal behind.
It Has Been ‘Tough’ For The Former ‘GMA3’ Anchors Since Their ABC Axing

Speaking on the couple’s alleged plans to move to Europe, the source noted that things have been rough for Robach and Holmes since they were let go by ABC.
“Ever since they lost their ‘Good Morning America’ jobs, it’s been tough going,” the insider noted, per reports.
They continued, “A severe lack of popularity seems to be their biggest problem, so moving abroad and starting totally fresh checks a lot of boxes at this point.”
Things fell apart for the news anchors when their workplace romance was exposed, and it was revealed that they were still married to other people at the time.
After being fired by ABC from their “GMA3” roles in January 2023, Robach and Holmes put up a united front, opting to continue dating boldly and openly as they officially separated from their then-spouses, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig.
By October of 2025, the couple announced they had gotten engaged in September, with a wedding around the corner. However, none of this seems to have helped turn their image around.
“The constant trolling — both online and by a lot of their industry peers — has taken a heavy toll,” the source told the National Enquirer. “Socially, it’s pretty grim for them, and the cost of living is getting hard to sustain.”
Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes Spilled On The Key To Their Happy Relationship

While things might not be looking too great for Robach and Holmes when it comes to their career, the couple’s relationship seems to be waxing stronger.
After announcing their engagement last October, the pair shared insight into their relationship and the reason behind their enduring love for each other despite being consistently scrutinized by the public.
During a chat with People Magazine about their romance, Holmes said, “Friendship, the foundation of friendship, period, point blank,” prompting Robach to say, “Without a doubt.”
Holmes continued, “If you got a friend you love and you respect … you end up in a relationship that’s still the foundation of friendship.”
Robach further explained that being able to “laugh” with one’s partner makes for an easier love life, adding that “you can get through almost anything if you can laugh together.”
When Is The Couple Getting Married?

Robach and Holmes revealed they have an official wedding date during their chat with Bill and Giuliana Rancic on their podcast.
Giuliana had asked the couple “if they knew when they were tying the knot,” and Holmes replied, “We do.”
However, his response seemed to slightly shock Robach as she asked him, “Are you OK with that date? I had a date that I really wanted. You’re just telling me now on the podcast that you’re OK with that date?”
“Being here with them made me more comfortable,” Holmes explained, referring to Bill and Giuliana.
Despite the candid revelation, Robach and Holmes did not give a particular date for the ceremony, but noted that they intend to get married in a very “special” way.
T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach’s Former Spouses Have Given Them Their ‘Blessing’ To Get Married

Holmes and Robach’s former spouses, Fiebig and Shue, who have been dating each other for over a year now, seem to have moved past the initial hurt of their affair.
According to a Us Weekly, a source revealed that Robach and Holmes seem to have “the blessing of their exes to get married.”
However, while Fiebig and Shue support their former spouses’ upcoming wedding, the source noted that they have no intention to attend despite getting invitations.
