We’re used to seeing Meghan Markle in linen shirts and tailored trousers, but let Us tell you, she rocks sexy one-piece swimsuits just as well. It’s all about the style, and Markle may have found the most flattering, timeless swimwear of all. Somehow, her slimming look is only $38!
In an Instagram post, Markle gazed at her family playing in the ocean while wearing a low-back one-piece and sporty sneakers. We couldn’t see the front, but we didn’t need to because the low-back detail quickly stole our hearts. This Amazon twin has the same design with the addition of a tummy-control front, making it a no-brainer for anyone who wants to look good-good at the beach.
Get the Suuksess One-Piece Tummy-Control Swimsuit for $39 at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate at the date of publication but are subject to change.
This Suuksess One-Piece Tummy-Control Swimsuit features an identical chocolate color, sculpted silhouette and a plunging back that’s deep enough to feel spicy without trying too hard. It’s just as dreamy in the front, thanks to the supportive high neckline and strategic ruching.
Together, the gathers and tummy control work magic, concealing your midsection and holding you in without squeezing. The swimsuit does it so well that one happy shopper in their 40s called it the “best swimsuit” they’ve ever owned.
“It is extremely flattering and supports triple Ds great,” they wrote. “I feel very confident and comfortable in this suit. No longer having to constantly check if everything is covered properly, worry about chest sunburn and if I look at least moderately attractive.”
Another Amazon reviewer who highlighted the classy style shared: “It looks sophisticated and will be perfect for my executive retreat with coworkers.”
Style the chic one-piece with a cover-up and sandals, or opt for running sneakers for a Markle moment. Either way, it’s a staple you’ll want for every beach day, pool weekend and vacation on your agenda.

General Hospital 2-Week Spoilers Aug 10-21: Willow Loses Control! Sonny Turns Ruthless!
General Hospital 2-Week Spoilers for August 10-21, 2026 stun with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) going unhinged after Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) drugged her and that means the kids are in danger. Plus, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets aggro while he’s getting ready to make war.
Also, in the two weeks of August 10th through the 21st, we have got trouble for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) being a colossal jerk, and lots more. Let’s get right to it.
General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Lashes Out at Jason
On Monday, August 10th, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tries to get Drew to see reason. So, they’re facing off. Jason looks furious as Drew says, “You’d be very wise not to test me on this.” I’m guessing this is about Danny and Scout and those restraining orders. Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) makes a promise and then of course he’s outraged and asking Jacinda if she drugged the mother of his children.
Yes, she did. Willow is high as a kite rubbing the hair on Amelia’s doll. And Willow is blathering to their kids and she says they’re going on an adventure. They’re going to get milkshakes at Bobbie’s and then Willow tells Wylie and Amelia they’re going to drive by the lake. Dangerous, right? To see the sparkly lights and then she’s chugging more drugged coffee.
GH Spoilers: Britt Loses It
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is encouraged by the last person she expects and I’m wondering if it is hunky Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) who so far does not like Britt and the feelings mutual and we’ve got her all worked up at General Hospital.
She’s getting confrontational asking Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) how much would it cost her to show a little compassion. I think Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is going to be in Anna’s head about Britt needing to die or else she will kill Anna. And with Britt going off on her like that, Anna might really be believing the voice in her head.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is alarmed. This may be about Curtis’s trial because, let’s be real, it’s way past time for Brooklyn to tell the truth, especially when it looks like Curtis might get away with it.
General Hospital Spoilers: Joss Blasts Carly
Also, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has news for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and Joss asks her mom, “How far are you willing to go to get me out of the WSB?” So, it sounds like Josslyn suspects Carly put Josslyn’s dad, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), up to putting her in charge of his company.
Tuesday, August 11th on General Hospital, Serena Baldwin (Kelly Krueger) meets Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). They share the same mom, Dominique, but they’ve never met since Cody was adopted. Hopefully, they can connect as siblings. They both like animals. They got that in common.
Emma Scorpio-Drake is (Brayden Bruner) let down, and it may be about Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) record label guy Simon (Grady Eldridge) wanting that romance. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is taken by surprise. And this may have something to do with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) court case. Jordan’s behaving so badly, she should just be ashamed of herself, trying to blame anybody but herself at this point.
Michael suffers a loss. Maybe it’s his relationship with Jacinda. He may ditch her after what she did to Willow. Hopefully General Hospital isn’t going to kill off one of his kids. Also, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is running interference. Maybe about Willow’s mess.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Goes to War
Wednesday, August 12th in General Hospital, Sonny’s gearing up for battle. Maybe with Ava and Drew or it may be about the softball game. We know Sonny has his team for Corinthos Coffee and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is supposed to be the star pitcher. However, I don’t trust Rick not to bean Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) with a softball.
Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) opens up to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) on Wednesday and it may be about her dad Drew trying to keep her and her brother Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) apart because Drew hates Jason and judges Danny because of it. Michael’s in shock and this could concern Deception or what happened with Willow with this drugging.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is conflicted. No doubt it’s about Curtis. She and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) are looking very stressed out this week. And of course, Curtis is going to use his acquittal if he gets it to try and block Isaiah from being in Desmond’s life, even though he wants to have Jordan in there. No doubt, Curtis is 100% guilty and he really needs to face consequences, but things are looking like they’re going well for him in court.
General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Spills the Beans
Honestly, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) was playing so dirty. And of course, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) didn’t get aggressive enough because she likes Jordan. She should have been on that case to start with. This week at Portia’s house, Isaiah and Portia are there. They’re looking pretty stressed out.
Drew lets somebody in on his plan. This may be Ava Jerome (Maura West), his new partner in crime, but Martin is also continuing to do his dirty work. So, I suspect Drew comes up with a plan soon to target Sonny as he and Ava talked about. It would be interesting if Drew tried to buy Sonny’s piers.
GH Spoilers: Willow is Threatened
Thursday, August 13th on General Hospital, we’ve got somebody threatening Willow. It might be Michael trying to take advantage of this drug situation against Willow, but since his girlfriend Jacinda is the one who drugged her. And if Willow or somebody else finds out that Michael’s girlfriend did it, he’s going to be totally screwed.
Anna sets a trap and this may be for Britt. And Trina is absolutely reeling and she may find out that she has a stalker. I’m really looking forward to learning more about who the stalker is. I’m thinking it’s Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) ex-teammate Quinn (Jequan Jackson). But then again, record exec Simon is giving off a creepy vibe, so maybe it is him.
Britt is searching for Rocco. She may need a friendly face or a hug. Somebody who really cares about her. Josslyn refuses to give in. And I’m sure this is about Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) and Jax’s company and not wanting to leave the WSB.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jack Makes an Offer
On Friday, August 14th episode of General Hospital, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) makes somebody an offer. He may be having to bail out Willow again. I’d really also like to see Jack and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) bury the hatchet, but Jack’s getting killed off in the next couple of months, so I don’t think there is time.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) is shocked by a request. That could be from literally anybody. And Molly is sharing an idea with her boyfriend Cody. We’re not seeing a lot of scenes of them together. And now his sister Serena’s in town. So maybe Molly is planning something to help Cody get closer to Serena because she’s all about him embracing family.
We also have Jason talking to Carly by the end of the week. And I’m interested to see if Jason opens up to Carly about what he went through in Indonesia at the hands of the WSB torturers. She may also catch Jason up on her frustrations with Josslyn and the WSB and the sneaky move that she just tried to make with Jax.
This week over at Carly, she and Jason look very happy chatting in the kitchen. She may be worried about him leaving Sonny, but now that he’s getting out of the business, too, this is great news for everybody.
General Hospital: August 17-21 Spoilers
Danny turns to Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) for help. And also this week, we’re going to see Danny and Charlotte at the Quartermaine dock with Danny looking really upset while Charlotte looks worried.
The week of August 17th through the 21st, we should find out more about Trina’s stalker. Cody and Serena are getting to know each other, but Cody will likely not approve of his sister Serena plotting against Tracy, who is one of his besties.
There’s going to be massive fallout from Willow’s drugging for several people. Watch for Serena to up the stakes and slide in closer to Michael to help Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). And if he and Jacinda are on the outs, that’s going to make it easier.
We may see Britt in danger from Anna because of ghost Peter and of course the psychological torment that Colum caused. Drew and Ava get busy plotting against Sonny. And I do wonder how close that Drew and Ava get to each other.
Ric is there and his jealousy intensifies about Dante and we could see Ric acting out and annoying Liz because he feels so threatened by Dante. But then again, that Sonny son, so it’s so messy.
Jack Brennan is there to support Nina. He’s going to try and help with Willow. It’s too bad he’s dying soon and Nina’s going to be lonely again. Danny and Jason are trying to be the bigger person when it comes to Drew, but it’s not easy because he’s awful.
Emma and Gio’s relationship gets more strained, and Isaiah. has happy news to share with Portia. Maybe his hand is on the road to healing.

Alan Ritchson Officially Returns as Reacher in 48 Hours
While there can be no doubt that the year belongs to Zendaya, Tom Holland, and Robert Pattinson as far as theatrical success is concerned, the streaming industry has arguably seen no greater star than Alan Ritchson. His movies tend to do extremely well at home, as can be gleaned from the sustained success of Guy Ritchie‘s period action film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. More recently, the faith-based sensation Ordinary Angels attracted huge viewership on Netflix thanks to a 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Ritchson also headlined the theatrical release Motor City, which will no doubt emerge as a massive hit on the PVOD market soon. But first, the action star will reprise his career-defining role in Prime Video’s smash-hit series Reacher.
Based on the bestselling books by Lee Child, the series premiered in 2022, in the wake of two theatrical films in which the protagonist was played by Tom Cruise. Fans of Child’s novels weren’t especially pleased with the Cruise movies, which grossed around $350 million in combined global box-office revenue and received mixed critical reviews. Child, who initially defended the film, retroactively agreed with fans that Cruise was miscast as the famously hulking Reacher. Child has since stated that Ritchson was born to play the role, and audiences agree.
Here’s When Alan Ritchson Will Return as Jack Reacher
Having aired three seasons over three years, Reacher will return with an eight-episode fourth season on August 12. The franchise will expand with the spin-off series Neagley, which is slated to premiere on Prime Video on September 16, the day of Reacher‘s Season 4 finale. Developed by Nick Santora, Reacher has received excellent reviews over the course of its run. The show now holds an overall 96% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. In his review of Season 3, Collider’s Nate Richard praised Ritchson’s “irresistible performance” in the central role and appreciated the series for scaling back after an expansive second season. Reacher has been renewed for a fifth season, which has officially entered production. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

OnlyFans Model Courtney Clenney Reportedly Sentenced After Accepting Plea Deal In Fatal Stabbing Of Christian Obumseli
According to the Daily News, Courtney Clenney has been sentenced to six years in prison, with time served. As The Shade Room previously reported, in July, Clenney accepted a plea deal, which turned her second-degree murder charge, which reportedly carried a life sentence, into a manslaughter charge.
Furthermore, the outlet notes that Clenney could be released from prison in two years. This, because she’s already served four years behind bars, as she awaited her verdict for the fatal 2022 stabbing.
TMZ reports that upon her release, Clenney will reportedly have to “undergo mental health and substance abuse treatment.” Furthermore, the New York Post adds that Clennery will serve five years of probation.
Lastly, TMZ notes that she will reportedly be moved from “the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center to a state prison facility in Florida.”

More On The Fatal Stabbing Of Christian Obumseli
As The Shade Room previously reported, Christian Obumseli was fatally stabbed by his girlfriend, Courtney Clenney, on April 3, 2022. In the weeks that followed, it was alleged that Clenney was a victim of physical, emotional, and mental abuse by Obumseli. Additionally, her legal team would claim that she acted in self-defense by fatally stabbing him.
As the public debated the validity of the self-defense claim, old social media posts from Obumseli surfaced, showing him speaking disparagingly about Black people and women, per The Shade Room.
Then, footage surfaced showing Clenney apparently attacking Obumseli in a prior incident, per The Shade Room. According to the Daily News, multiple incidents about the couple’s alleged domestic history were reported, and when the fatal incident occurred, the apartment that they lived in had reportedly begun eviction proceedings against them. Per the outlet, on the day of the fatal incident, security had reportedly arrived at the unit. However, they allegedly stood outside, a move the Obumseli family says could have possibly prevented the teen’s death.
“I had just talked to him the day before, and had no knowledge that he had been killed. Today closes a legal chapter, but it certainly doesn’t close our grief. No sentence, no plea, can bring back my son to me. My only hope is to carry his memory forward and to continue healing as a family. My prayer is that after today, Christian will not simply be remembered by the public as a name connected to a criminal case,” Obumseli’s mom reportedly shared via statement, per CourtTV.

Spring Breakers 2 Official With Bella Thorne Writing and Directing
More than 40 years after The Breakfast Club first brought five very different teenagers together for a Saturday detention, Anthony Michael Hall has revealed that director John Hughes once envisioned bringing the group back together as adults.
Hall, who played Brian Johnson, “the brain,” in the beloved 1985 film, recently recalled one of his final conversations with Hughes. During that conversation, the filmmaker reportedly discussed an idea for a sequel that would reunite Brian, Claire, Bender, Allison and Andrew years after their unforgettable day at Shermer High School.
According to Hall, Hughes imagined catching up with the characters when they were in their 30s and had entered the working world.
“He was talking about the idea of doing a sequel and having us all be in our 30s and in the workplace,” Hall recalled.
The concept would have offered a fascinating continuation of the original film. The Breakfast Club centered on five students from completely different social circles who slowly discovered that the labels placed on them did not tell the full story of who they were.
Hall starred alongside Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy and Emilio Estevez, portraying the brain, princess, criminal, basket case and athlete respectively.
Ashlee Rezin/Sun-Times
Rather than simply repeating the detention setup, Hughes’ proposed sequel could have explored how those same characters changed as they entered adulthood. The pressures of popularity, parents and high school expectations could have been replaced by careers, relationships and the realities of adult life.
Unfortunately, the movie never materialized.
Hall said the conversation took place around 1988 and also included John Candy, another frequent Hughes collaborator. It remains unclear how far Hughes ever developed the idea or whether a completed screenplay exists.
The revelation is particularly interesting because talk of another Breakfast Club movie has surfaced several times over the years. Molly Ringwald previously suggested she had heard that Hughes had written some form of follow-up, while other reports have claimed the filmmaker considered different ways of revisiting the characters.
Hughes died in 2009 at the age of 59, leaving any potential continuation without the filmmaker who created the original.
Despite never receiving a sequel, The Breakfast Club has maintained an enormous cultural presence since its release on February 15, 1985. Made for roughly $1 million, the movie earned more than $50 million worldwide and became one of the defining coming-of-age films of the 1980s.
The Breakfast Club [universal pictures]
The five principal cast members also reunited publicly in 2025 for the movie’s 40th anniversary at C2E2 in Chicago, marking the first time Hall, Ringwald, Nelson, Sheedy and Estevez had all appeared together at the same convention.
Whether Hollywood would ever attempt a modern continuation remains unknown. There is currently no officially announced Breakfast Club sequel in development.
Still, Hall’s story offers fans a glimpse at what might have been. Instead of leaving Brian, Claire, Bender, Allison and Andrew behind in that library, Hughes apparently wondered the same thing audiences have wondered for decades:
What happened to the Breakfast Club after detention ended?

Gigi Hadid Shares Sweet Photos From Trip With Daughter Khai
Gigi Hadid is soaking up the last weeks of summer with her daughter by her side.
Hadid, 31, shared a series of photos via Instagram on Monday, August 10, of herself and daughter Khai, 5, enjoying a beach vacation with family.
In one photo, the model walked in the sand toward the water as she outstretched her hand for Khai while another image showed Hadid holding Khai on her hip as the mother-daughter duo pressed their heads together and gazed at the water.
“🐠,” Hadid captioned the upload, which was paired with Atomic Kitten’s song “The Tide Is High.”
Hadid welcomed her daughter with ex Zayn Malik in September 2020. The pair, who dated on-off for years, ultimately split for good in 2021.
“Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance,” she told Vogue in 2025. “That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs.”
Hadid shared that there’s still “love and a feeling of camaraderie” between her and the former One Direction singer.
“There is the hard part of the world knowing this much, and thinking they know everything,” Hadid said. “And at the end of the day, we’re not interested in giving everyone our whole story. What we are interested in is raising our daughter together, with so much respect for each other, and not just as coparents, but what we’ve been through together.”
Hadid moved on with Bradley Cooper in 2023. Earlier this month, Hadid and Cooper, 51, sparked marriage rumors when they were spotted wearing matching gold bands on their left-hand ring fingers in Paris. A source, however, exclusively told Us that the couple are wearing “promise rings,” which are not new.
“They have had the rings for a few months now,” the insider shared. “Neither of them wants to get married or have a traditional wedding, but they are very serious and committed to one another.”
The source shared that things are “going really well” between Hadid and Cooper, who shares daughter Lea, 9, with ex Irina Shayk. (The former couple were together from 2015 until their separation four years later.)
“They are inseparable when they aren’t working,” the insider said. “Their lives are fully integrated at this point and their daughters get along well and have play dates. They’ve essentially become one happy little family in their own way.”

Sami Sheen Breaks Silence on Being Called Charlie’s ‘Karma’
Sami Sheen is reacting to an unexpected title her mother, Denise Richards, gave her while on a podcast.
The young model has found herself in the center of multiple conversations surrounding her famous family, but her most recent reaction might come as a surprise to fans.
From her complicated relationship with her father, Charlie Sheen, to differences with her sister Lola Sheen, Sami has never been one to stay silent.

Sami couldn’t help but be amused after being called her father’s “karma” by podcast host Bunnie Xo on an episode of “Dumb Blonde” Podcast where Richards was a guest.
“I feel like she is kind of Charlie’s Karma… I feel like she gives him a run for his money.” Richards agreed, responding, “Oh, she does.”
The former “ Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared how the “Two and A Half Men” actor needed that Karma, explaining that Sami stands up to Charlie more than any of his children.
She went on to admire her daughter’s confidence, stating that she loved that Sami wasn’t afraid to be who she was.
The 22-year-old seemed to be intrigued by the conversation as she commented, “hahaha this is so funny,” under the post.
Sami’s reaction might come as a surprise to fans online, as she and Charlie had publicly fallen out in the past, including over the creation of her OnlyFans profile.
Denise Richards Opened Up About Her Daughters’ Relationship With Charlie Sheen
Richards also opened up about the state of her daughter’s relationship with Charlie.
The “Wild Things” actress, who was married to the “Anger Management” actor from 2002 to 2006, said that her priority through the very public divorce was protecting her daughters.
As reported by The Blast, Richards explained that at the time she wanted Sami and Lola to have a personal relationship with their father, and not to form an opinion of him based on any negativity in the news.
Now that the girls are adults, the actress wants her daughters to have open conversations with Charlie about their childhood and the events they experienced growing up.
She went as far as suggesting there were still unresolved issues in the family, referring to it as the “elephant in the room.”
Sharing her desire for a better father-daughter relationship, Richards stated, “I hope one day that they feel comfortable enough and safe enough where they could just be open and say certain things.”
Charlie Sheen’s Daughter Is Exasperated At Nepo Baby Claims

Richards’ confession on the podcast comes months after Sami disclosed she was “frustrated” with Nepo baby allegations.
According to The Blast, the young media personality revealed that she had not received a dime from Charlie in over four years and has been fully supporting herself since she was 18 years old.
She expressed displeasure at finding out he had bought a car for her sister in cash, and had refused to purchase a horse for her at the same price. As a result, they hadn’t spoken in weeks.
The OnlyFans model then encouraged fans to keep subscribing to her content, as that was how she paid for her lifestyle
Sami Sheen Moved To Tears At Estranged Father Charlie Sheen’s Docuseries

Despite having a strained relationship, Sami had an emotional reaction to her father’s Netflix docuseries “Aka Charlie Sheen.”
In a video shared on social media, the 22-year-old recorded herself in bed, letting her solemn expression do the talking. The overlay caption on the video read “I didn’t know I was the reason he got sober.”
She encouraged viewers in the comments to give the documentary a chance, with The Blast reporting that she called it a 10/10 documentary.
Many fans weighed in on the video, with some calling for reconciliation, while others advised against it.
Sami Sheen Puts Sister Feud In The Limelight With Shocking Claims
The 22-year-old’s family drama extends beyond her relationship with Charlie, as she has previously clashed with younger sister Lola Sheen.
Earlier this year, she shared on her TikTok account that her sister Lola was allegedly seeing her ex-boyfriend. This caused a lot of speculation in her comments, including the fact that the mystery ex might be micro-influencer Aiden David.
As The Blast reported, when asked how she knew, Sami alleged she “went through his phone and saw over 300 deleted text messages between them.”
Sami and Lola are no strangers to a public spat, as the former previously called her sister out for her anti LGBTQ stance.

Matthew Lillard Reveals The Truth Behind Tatum’s Killer In ‘Scream’
Thirty years after “Scream” arrived in theaters, Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich still cannot settle one of the movie’s most fiercely debated mysteries. The actors, who played killers Stu Macher and Billy Loomis in Wes Craven’s 1996 slasher, were asked to reveal which character was wearing the Ghostface costume when Tatum Riley was killed. However, Ulrich explained that the answer was never established behind the scenes, and claimed even screenwriter Kevin Williamson does not know for certain.

The question arose during a 30th-anniversary “Scream” reunion panel at Midsummer Scream in Long Beach, California. Ulrich and Lillard appeared alongside several other figures from the original movie, including Jamie Kennedy, Joseph Whipp, stunt performer Lee Waddell and Ghostface voice actor Roger L. Jackson.
When asked whether Billy or Stu killed Tatum, Ulrich admitted that the cast and filmmakers never discussed who was beneath the costume.
“To be honest, not even [screenwriter] Kevin Williamson knows who killed [Tatum]. And he wrote the damn thing,” Ulrich told the audience, per The Wrap. “And we never discussed it. So, it’s really fan theory, which I think is great. But, I don’t know. No one knows.”
Matthew Lillard Has His Own Theory About Stu Macher

Although Ulrich maintained that no one knows who killed Tatum, Lillard revealed which explanation he has personally embraced. “I always say it’s because she said ‘no’ to going to prom,” he told the crowd, pointing to Stu as the killer because Tatum, played by Rose McGowan, was his girlfriend.
Earlier in the movie, Stu attempted to persuade Tatum to attend the school dance with him. Her rejection therefore gives his character a possible personal motive beyond the murder spree he was already carrying out with Billy.
However, Lillard did not claim that his interpretation had been confirmed by Williamson, Craven, or anyone else involved in creating the film.
Tatum Riley’s Garage Death Became A ‘Scream’ Standout

Tatum’s death remains one of the original movie’s most memorable sequences. While attending a house party, she entered the garage to retrieve beer before being confronted by Ghostface. After fighting back, Tatum attempted to escape through the pet door in the garage door. Ghostface activated the mechanism while she was trapped, causing the garage door to rise and kill her.
The revelation that both Billy and Stu had been operating as Ghostface made it difficult to determine which one committed each murder. Fans have since analyzed the characters’ locations, behavior, and possible motives in hopes of assigning the individual attacks.
Yet the Midsummer Scream panel confirmed that the filmmakers did not provide Lillard and Ulrich with a definitive division of responsibility. And that lack of an official answer has allowed Tatum’s death to remain one of the franchise’s enduring unanswered questions.
The ‘Scream’ Finale Required 21 Consecutive Night Shoots

The reunion panel also gave Lillard and Ulrich an opportunity to discuss the demanding process of filming the original movie’s extended finale. The climactic house-party sequence, commonly referred to as “Scene 118,” lasts approximately 42 minutes onscreen. According to the actors, completing it required 21 consecutive nights of filming.
“When you see the film, the energy that [he and I and Neve [Campbell] and everybody is producing, we had to do daily for all that time,” Ulrich recalled. “So, that sticks out to me as being most memorable. And fun, because I got to hit [Lillard] with a phone.”
Lillard agreed that the filming schedule made the finale particularly difficult. “We shot at night. So, we were living a nocturnal life,” he explained.
The production process also moved more slowly because the filmmakers did not have multiple cameras capturing each performance simultaneously. “And also, back then, we only had one camera … you would have to do a take on every angle, every set-up multiple times,” Lillard said. “So, that sequence is really brutal and stands out in my memory.”
Despite the grueling schedule, the finale became one of the franchise’s defining sequences, revealing Billy and Stu as the killers and establishing their chaotic partnership.
Matthew Lillard Previously Embraced Another Billy And Stu Theory

The uncertainty surrounding Tatum’s killer is not the only “Scream” question Lillard has been willing to leave in the hands of fans. At a previous convention, the actor discussed the long-running interpretation that Billy and Stu’s intense relationship included romantic or sexual subtext.
Lillard acknowledged that the idea was never discussed while the original movie was being filmed. However, he said he and Ulrich have since embraced the way audiences interpret the characters. “Here’s the reality, it was never discussed on the day, it was not an issue,” Lillard explained. “But I think that we both really love it and hold on to it now as it’s sort of grown in popularity, this thought that these two characters were gay.”
The actor referred to Billy and Stu as “for sure gay” and revealed that he and Ulrich now jokingly call themselves “the first husbands of horror.”
Lillard also argued that the theory belongs to the audience, meaning it does not require official confirmation to carry meaning for viewers. “The reason is that you can’t take it away, like, nobody can strip us of that belief,” he said. “And in the world we’re living in right now, like… live with it.”
In much the same way, the mystery surrounding Tatum’s killer remains open for audiences to interpret.

Marvel Officially Confirms The Punisher’s Past Is Coming Back to Haunt Him
As one of Marvel’s darkest, most violent characters on the side of good, The Punisher is given his fair share of fittingly twisted villains to hunt down. Chief among them is Billy Russo, the criminal formerly known as Billy the Beaut until Frank Castle mangled his face, causing him to take up the name Jigsaw. He’s been a constant and deeply personal thorn in Frank’s side both on the page and in the Netflix series, committing some truly heinous crimes and finding new, demented ways to torment the vigilante, all while serving as a constant reminder of the cost of his one-man war on crime. However, there’s now another formidable foe on the prowl who became a monster after his encounter with Castle.
In Issue #5 of Benjamin Percy‘s The Punisher series, Frank took down the ghost from his past once more, though it didn’t take long for another to haunt him. The very next installment kicked off a new storyline, “The Long Bullet,” introducing Collateral Damage, an entirely new villain for Castle with a gnarly design that illustrates how much pain he’s inflicted upon him. Described as one of the Punisher’s “failures,” he’s a former victim of Frank with a metal exoskeleton piercing his infected skin to keep him alive and help him overcome spinal paralysis. More than anything, a burning rage keeps him going until he can reach Castle’s door and put a bullet in his head, not just for himself, but because he believes it’s best for the entire city.
That time has come in issue #7. The latest chapter of The Punisher finds Frank having revived his war on crime in New York after recovering from battling Jigsaw. However, it becomes clear that someone isn’t pleased that he’s back on the streets when the bodies of petty criminals and even some innocent civilians are found dead, all seemingly struck down by the same bullet. Although the authorities are quick to suspect the Punisher, they’re proven wrong when, while Frank and his old ally Microchip are patrolling and tracking the signature of the round, the bullet flies back through Frank’s hand and back to Collateral Damage. Marvel Comics has now released a preview showing the pair in the sights of the metal-clad marksman, who has rifle skills to rival Bullseye’s.
‘The Punisher’s New Villain Is a Marksman Like No Other
The few pages shared tease Collateral Damage as, well, collateral damage, someone who was caught in the crossfire in Frank’s attempts to kill someone he believes deserved it. Specifically, it’s hinted that the new villain was hurt when the Punisher sent the Kingpin to the hospital. Collateral Damage’s motive is made clear as his rifle pulls up an image of Frank and his location, and he squeezes the trigger. Killing the man who ruined his life is one thing, but completely ruining him is another, more enticing proposition made easier by having a weapon with bullets about guaranteed to hit their mark. Meanwhile, Micro reads what he can about the mystery bullet’s location while Frank is busy driving. Despite staying off the main streets, however, their attempts to track the shot go wrong when they realize the bullet is speeding their way.
Farid Karami handles the interior artwork for The Punisher #7, while the duo of David Marquez and Guru-eFX created the cover. Their art gives the best look yet at Collateral Damage, splattered in blood with his rifle in the air and a look of almost melancholy as he sets out on his hunt. Both Marquez and Guru-eFX have contributed prominently across Marvel Comics covers of late, the former notably working on Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse, while the latter counts the myriad Queen in Black and Venom comics among their recent credits.
The Punisher #7 releases on August 12. Check out the full preview in the gallery above.
