My off-duty wardrobe is colorful, fun and expressive, but my workwear attire is almost the opposite. It’s practical, pared back and, at times, a little dull. Adhering to an office dress code policy tends to mean I repeat the same sensible outfits again and again, but I finally found an office‑friendly dress that makes me look forward to getting ready for work again.

As a hybrid employee, I oscillate between comfort‑first outfits at home and more structured pieces in the office, and this stretchy fit‑and‑flare dress from Quince manages to bridge both worlds; it’s comfortable enough for WFH days yet polished enough for in-office hours. It’s also the first work dress I’ve worn in a while that doesn’t make me self-conscious about my midsection, thanks to the fit-and-flare silhouette that looks stunning on every shape and size. I know my ‘mom-belly’ is still there, but the dress glides right over my tummy so I don’t spend the day adjusting the fabric or overthinking the fit.

In true quiet‑luxury fashion, the Quince Ultra-Stretch Ponte Short-Sleeve Midi Dress relies on structure, great tailoring and a minimalist silhouette that speaks for itself. Living in the thick of Texas heat, I need pieces that are breathable all year long, and this one actually keeps me cool no matter the forecast. For those who are also ultra busty, like me, this dress has impeccable design details that provide a naturally ‘lifted’ look.

Made with a durable double-knit ponte fabric, the stretchy midi dress is incredibly forgiving and resistant to annoying snafus like wrinkling, piling or fading. I own the dress in three colors that I rotate on the regular, including orchid blue and espresso, and they all look remarkably pristine . . . even after countless washes, coffee spills, kids tugging at the hem and the general chaos of working-mom life.

Like any good thing, this figure‑flattering dress is a cult-favorite among Quince shoppers, with reviewers raving that it is “comfortable and moves with ease,” “perfect to dress up or dress down” and “floats away from the belly area.”

“I was speaking at a conference, and it was a real confidence booster for me,” one shopper wrote. “I felt good in it, and after my talk, I got so many compliments! It’s a definite winner for a professional, polished look . . . I am more pear-shaped, so it worked well for my body type.”

Whether you’re on the hunt for a slimming work dress or simply a flattering piece that makes getting ready easier, this quiet-luxury find is the reason so many shoppers keep coming back for a second — or third — color. Myself, included!

‘Marshals’ Can’t Escape Its ‘Yellowstone’ Roots As It Sets Up a Colossal New Rivalry

Published

on

Randall Clegg (Michael Cudlitz) confronts Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) and Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel) in the 'Marshals' episode "The Gathering Storm"

Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers for Marshals Episode 4.This week, Marshals takes another leap into the greater world of Yellowstone as fallout from Kayce Dutton’s (Luke Grimes) past follows him to the present. “The Gathering Storm” has many meanings in this episode, which is chock-full of enough Yellowstone references and revelations to keep you on your toes. With more packed into this episode than the last few put together, Marshals continues to teeter the line between being a direct Yellowstone sequel and a spin-off that pushes to forge its own path and identity.

‘Marshals’ Sets the Stage for a Coming Storm Against Kayce Dutton

“The Gathering Storm” begins at Yellowstone East Camp as Kayce Dutton answers the door armed. As usual, Tate (Brecken Merrill) is at his maternal grandfather’s house, and so conveniently written out while Kayce deals with the aftermath of the bullet-on-the-doorstep threat from the end of last week’s episode. Thankfully, there’s no threat at all. It’s just Pete “Cal” Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green) with some security equipment to help Kayce prepare for whatever threat is coming. While Cal thinks Randall Clegg (Michael Cudlitz) is the man behind the threat after they killed his kin in combat, Kayce knows it could be anyone who hates his family name. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take long before we learn that the former is the truth in this case.

That night at the Bullet ‘n Barrel Saloon, Marshals sets up several different plotlines that the show has no room to pay off in this episode. Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) flirts with her new cowboy love interest Ty (Tyler Courtad), Cal seemingly pines after the local bartender Maddie (Morgan Lindholm) — before a brief sidebar with a local named Henry (Gabriel Casdorph) about the Clegg family — and Miles (Tatanka Means) runs into a family member named Sabrina (Chelsea Gray) to discuss his past at Broken Rock. But all this is preamble because the real action doesn’t start until the next day, when, at Marshals HQ, the team is met by Harry Gifford (Brett Cullen), who reveals that Randall Clegg is claiming that his son Carson’s civil rights were violated when Kayce killed him last week. With Kayce under the microscope (and benched for the time being), Cruz is left in charge of the internal investigation. So, rather than stick around and twiddle their thumbs, Kayce and Cal go off and help the Department of Forestry in the hunt for “transplant” rancher Tom Weaver (Chris Mulkey), after his daughter, Dolly (Ellyn Jameson), believes he has gone missing in the nearby Bridger Mountains.

Tulsa King

⚖️
Mayor of Kingstown

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.

You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

But for those thinking that the Clegg complaint is just background this week, it becomes clear that this will be Marshals‘ main focus going forward, especially after Gifford hounds Cruz about finding the Dutton skeletons in Kayce’s closet. Even if the Clegg evidence comes up empty, he wants Cruz to fish for something that the DOJ can use against Kayce. Turns out, the lawyer who filed Clegg’s complaint, Andrew Schroeder (David Lascher), has a history of filing claims against law enforcement. However, Belle (Arielle Kebbel) knows Schroeder well, so she and Cruz go to confront the weasel. However, things don’t go as planned, as Randall Clegg shows up in the flesh to reveal that he plans to make the “Dutton finally learn that a badge isn’t a shield for their sins.” Whatever they do or don’t uncover, he plans to go public with everything.

Back in the mountains, Kayce and Cal spot the smoke from a helicopter crash site and recognize that they’re close to Tom Weaver. The only problem is, they’re immediately held at gunpoint by an unknown man (Braxton Hale), who has been hiding out in the woods for some time. He claims that, after losing his job, house, and wife, he’s now fled to the wilderness to live off the land. After disarming him, they decide to let him go to get to Tom in time, but only under the stipulation that he goes to turn himself in. Arriving at the crash, they find Tom injured and the pilot, Helen, to be in particularly rough shape. But just as they try to stabilize her, a grizzly bear shows up and literally rocks the boat. Although Kayce manages to scare the beast off with a few shots in the air (despite the fact that that’s typically more likely to get a bear to charge at you), it’s too late for the pilot.

Meanwhile, back at HQ, Cruz, Belle, and Miles discuss Kayce and his history. Having realized that the best thing they can do to help his case is dig into his past, they discover that he has an exemplary service record in the Navy. Looking beyond his time in the Armed Forces, Miles notes that the folks on Broken Rock once whispered about Kayce’s assault on the local Montana-based militia that took Tate, which, for the uninitiated, occurred at the tail end of Yellowstone Season 2. Although Kayce’s father, John Dutton (Kevin Costner), was the Livestock Commissioner at the time (and retired only weeks later), it was a sketchy enough situation that it could be labeled “frontier justice.” At the very least, it will give Randall Clegg the ammo he needs. When they explain this to Gifford, he wants to use it as leverage against Kayce to get him fired, but pivots to claiming that Kayce killed Carson Clegg in revenge for shooting a man on the Rez who knew his dead wife.

Back in the mountains, Kayce criticizes Tom for valuing his ranch more than the life of his pilot. Although there were no adverse weather conditions reported before they took off, the pilot recognized the turning winds and staggered their seating to distribute their weight properly. In the end, this ended up saving Tom’s life, and Kayce notes that he should be grateful. But while they are at odds at first, they bond over the fact that neither one of them was able to pick their fathers. Like Kayce, Tom felt trapped in his Wall Street father’s shadow, and moving from New York to Montana to start a ranch was the best way to make a name for himself and start something new. Kayce certainly understands. But this is when things get a bit tricky. As Cal helps Kayce and Tom rappel down the mountain, they’re shot at by the man they’d previously let go before Cal can return fire. The former SEAL leader wants to jump back into the fray and hunt the man down, but Kayce convinces him to stick with the mission and get Tom back to his family.

Meanwhile, when Gifford and Miles return to HQ, they reveal that Kayce’s late wife, Monica (Kelsey Asbille), was beloved by the man whom the Cleggs’ shot on the Rez last week. Because Gifford’s the absolute worst, he believes this is enough of a smoking gun to hang Kayce and ostracize him from the Marshals, hoping to railroad him with the weight of the DOJ behind him. As Miles puts it to the rest of the group, “Government’s the windshield, the rest of us are bugs.” But when Miles recalls the events of the Clegg shooting once more to Belle and Cruz, the trio realize that the Clegg brothers didn’t have eyes on Kayce or Miles yet when the IED went off. As it turns out, the Clegg family had been piggybacking on local wildlife cameras in the area for years, and that footage ultimately proved Kayce’s innocence. Upon clearing her teammate, Cruz confronts Gifford about trying to play her against her team, and it’s clear she won’t get to ever again.

With his name cleared and his job secure, Kayce goes to the hospital to meet with a recovering Tom Weaver. Surrounded by family, namely his doting daughter Dolly, Tom rewards Kayce for saving his life by lending him some ranch hands to help with East Camp. To Tom, the Dutton heir is the type of lawman whose career he wants to ensure continues. And with that, Marshals solves the mystery of how Kayce can be a lawman and a cowboy at the same time. Oh, and if you’ve been wondering about some other Marshals mysteries over the first few episodes, the final few minutes of “The Gathering Storm” peppers in a few more revelations…

Will Kayce ever bond with his team? It turns out, Kayce surprises them by showing up at the saloon to enjoy a celebratory drink. Who was that strange man in the mountains? Cal reveals that the guy who shot at them was a serial bomber named Rudy Carpenter, who will definitely be coming back for seconds at some point in the future. Will Kayce ever get a new love interest? That’s answered the moment Kayce introduces Dolly Weaver, who hopes that he’ll give her a crash course in all things Big Sky. And what’s the story between Cal and this bartender that seems to hate his guts? As he reveals to Belle, Maddie is his estranged daughter whom he moved to the area to be closer to. With all of this in mind, Marshals has a lot of material to work with as Kayce seeks to atone for his family’s sins.

Marshals airs Sundays on CBS and is available for streaming the next day on Paramount+.

Pros & Cons
  • The rivalry between Kayce Dutton and Randall Clegg is promising
  • The father conversations between Kayce and Tom was a necessary coda to the former’s time on Yellowstone
  • Clearing Kayce’s name will hopefully mean we can move past all the “let’s talk about Kayce’s past” scenes between the Marshals
  • That is not how you should deal with a grizzly bear…
  • Kayce and Cal leaving their weapons behind feels like a massive oversight.

Man Arrested After Child Sex Dolls Found at Area Landfill

Published

on

A twisted discovery at a Utah landfill has led to the arrest of a 54-year-old man who allegedly believed he had adequately covered his tracks, police claim.

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shane Alexander Larson, who lives in Cedar City, on Friday, March 20.

A week earlier, a worker at a Utah landfill called 911 after coming across a discarded box containing sex dolls resembling children.

The shipping label, police alleged, was left on the box that the dolls were shipped in, and while Larson had used a Sharpie marker to black out his name and address, police said in a booking affidavit that the text was “still legible.”

Cops successfully obtained a search warrant from a judge, which they later served at Larson’s home, where police allegedly found more than a dozen of the life-like dolls in his possession. Five of the dolls, authorities allege, were “made to appear consistent with pre-pubescent juvenile females.”

Several electronic devices were also confiscated from Larson’s home and will be searched as part of the investigation, according to investigators.

Larson was charged with six counts of distributing or purchasing a child sex doll, a third-degree felony, and six counts of possession of a child sex doll, a misdemeanor.

When questioned by police, Larson allegedly admitted that the dolls found at the garbage dump were his and that he is the one who discarded them. He said he got rid of the dolls “because they appeared to look too young,” according to the arrest report.

It was unclear if Larson was represented by a defense attorney on Sunday, March 22. He has yet to enter pleas to any of the charges.

In 2023, Utah passed HB108, a law to ban “child sex dolls,” defining them as anatomically correct dolls with features that resemble minors and that are intended for sexual use.

The enrolled bill makes possession a class A misdemeanor with a mandatory minimum $2,500 fine. It further makes distributing or purchasing a child sex doll a third-degree felony with a mandatory minimum fine of $10,000.

The arrest comes after authorities in New Orleans arrested a man for possessing child porn and importing a child sex doll. Jamie Borne was detained on February 25 after a routine probation turned up a “child-size sex doll” in his bedroom.

HBO’s Funniest, Darkest Sitcom Is a 10/10 Binge Before It Returns for Season 3

Published

on

romy-and-michele-high-school-reunion

What distinguishes HBO’s comedies from other premium networks is their self-awareness and ability to direct ruthless satire back at Hollywood. Although the notion of presenting fictional characters alongside real celebrities originated with The Larry Sanders Show, The Comeback takes meta comedy to a new level with its scathing look at the industry’s treatment of women. It’s a hilarious show that gives Lisa Kudrow her best role outside of Friends, but it also hits so close to the truth that it can be painful to watch. None of the artificiality often present in Hollywood satires applies to The Comeback, which is equally abrasive to people in different positions within the industry. Although it is highly critical of the very notion of celebrity, The Comeback does not deny the allure of famous people.

What Is ‘The Comeback’ About?

While HBO is known for inserting dark protagonists into its shows, Kudrow’s performance in The Comeback is no less monumental than that of James Gandolfini in The Sopranos or Idris Elba in The Wire. Kudrow stars as Valerie Cherish, a sitcom actress who has feared fading into obscurity. To gain momentum for what she predicts will be a return to prominence, Valerie hires a camera crew to document her every move, resulting in a mockumentary style for the series. This intimate look at the private lives of famous people was groundbreaking when The Comeback debuted in 2005, but it now feels like an accepted part of the media landscape.

What’s most brilliant about The Comeback is that the series presents a character in a sympathetic situation, even thoughshe is completely narcissistic. The unfortunate reality that the show recognized early on, and continues to retain, is that women are held to different standards in the industry, particularly when it comes to age. Valerie had never earned her “big break” when she was younger, and the only way for her to be part of a new sitcom is to accept the degrading role of “Aunt Sassy,” a highly quirky role that doesn’t have any nuance. The Comeback frequently exposes the sexist rhetoric that Valerie faces about her viability as a star, but the show doesn’t go as far as to suggest that she is a victim. Valerie feels entitled to the perks of being a celebrity and believes her life is worthy of documentation; as a result, the show isn’t exploitative because Valerie has control over how her story is broadcast.

Lisa Kudrow’s ‘Romy and Michele’ Sequel Is Going To Be Worth the 29-Year Wait [Exclusive]

The cult 1997 comedy has had a sequel brewing for years.

The Comeback is clever because it presents a character who somewhat mirrors Kudrow herself. Kudrow has obviously had more success than Valerie ever did because Friends was such a phenomenon, but they both face the risk of being defined by a single role. The difference is that Valerie is trying to take an old-school approach to becoming a sitcom breakout star in a generation where television culture is completely different because of the different routes of distribution; comparatively, Kudrow was able to earn an actual “comeback” because The Comeback itself is something daring and experimental, and only could have been done on HBO. Even though Valerie is disruptive and often causes incidents, Kudrow is so inherently charismatic that it’s hard not to root for her; at the same time, it’s inevitable that Valerie won’t be content with any success that comes her way, as she is always striving for more.

HBO’s ‘The Comeback’ Has a Unique Release Strategy

Given that Kudrow is also one of the show’s creators, it is impossible to imagine anyone else in the role. That said, The Comeback deserves more credit for its amazing supporting cast, especially since it includes both fictional characters and celebrities who appear as exaggerated versions of themselves. Damian Young’s performance as Valerie’s husband, Mark Berman, offers the perspective of a non-celebrity who expresses discomfort with the invasive presence of camera crews in their daily lives. Although the banter between Mark and Valerie exists to represent the realistic struggles of a Hollywood power couple, it does not toothlessly retain the status quo; the end of the second season, in which Mark realizes Valerie has been documenting some of their most serious marital quarrels, is the type of daring comedy that is as cringe-inducing as it is hilarious.

What’s most unique about The Comeback is that the series has taken extended breaks between seasons, allowing it to acknowledge the rapidly changing ways Hollywood has changed overits run. The first season was cancelled after thirteen episodes in 2005, but returned nine years later for a revival in which Valerie attempted to produce her own reality pilot. The third and final season is set in contemporary times, where artificial intelligence threatens to dismantle the entire creative process. It’s a snapshot of the different tools used to tackle emerging trends, and it continues to age well because it shows how out-of-fashion those trends become after a short time. The Comeback doesn’t always present a particularly flattering portrayal of the entertainment industry, but the fact that it can mine such fruitful comedy while being brutally honest is a testament to the uniqueness of what it’s already achieved.

Bachelor Nation’s Jade Roper Recalls ‘Weird’ Body Dysmorphia Feelings Over 3 Years

Bachelor Nation alum Jade Roper is reflecting on the time she struggled with body dysmorphia.

“OK, body dysmorphia is so weird. I was going back through photos in my phone, and this popped up from three years ago. I remember missing an event because I thought I looked so terrible in this dress, that my body looked bad,” Roper, 39, wrote via her Instagram Story on Saturday, March 21.

She continued, “Now, I’m like huhhh, what did I see that was so terrible, I think I actually look kind of hot. I think as I’ve gotten older, even just three years, I have such a better relationship with my body though.”

Alongside the message, Roper shared a mirror selfie of her posing in a black gown with a thigh-high split. She gave a soft smile for the camera, styling her shoulder-length hair slightly tousled.

Roper has been candid about her various states of mental health through the years, sharing in 2021 that she struggled with depression after welcoming her and Tanner Tolbert’s second child. (Roper and Tolbert, who met on Bachelor in Paradise, are parents to daughter Emmy, 8, and sons Brooks, 6, and Reed, 5.)

“Some days I really struggle with what content to share on here. Someone messaged me yesterday saying that they were going to unfollow me because of all my complaining about motherhood since Reed was born, and that I need to be the person I was when it was just Emmy and Brooks,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Fact is, I was fighting a dark depression for the first 6 month[s] after Brooks was born and no one would have known it. And fact is, I’m not that perceived person they spoke of anymore.”

Roper noted that she’s “learning as I go,” hoping to share the “imperfect moments” with her followers to spark a “human connection.”

“For anyone out there hanging on by a thread, needing to know they are loved and not failing; and, honestly for myself when I’m needing to hear a kind voice speak my truths to me. To remind me on the days where I can’t find the light, that it’s still there,” she wrote. “I want people to know you can carry both joy and grief together. That we can feel madly in love with our children, but also like we are carrying broken pieces of ourselves around. That you can wake up at 7 am with gratitude in your heart and still be crying by 8 am.”

Jade Roper got candid about how she’s holding up after suffering a miscarriage. “I’ve been ok,” Roper, 36, wrote via her Instagram story on Monday, October 16. “I recently told my manager that I’m tired of being in my sad girl era, and ready to feel better, but I’m also recognizing grief doesn’t work that […]

She continued, “I want people to know some days it’s OK to not be OK. That it’s enough if all you did today for yourself was to simply get out of bed and nourish your body. So I’m going to continue to keep posting pictures that show the hair grease, the under eye bags, the unclothed children, the sleep deprivation, and perhaps the little bit of sadness behind the eyes, because none of us have it all together all the time, especially during this pandemic. I can’t be a highlight reel.”

Roper noted that she hopes her content gives her followers “a big deep breath of air, one that exhales all the way out of your chest.”

“That breath that speaks permission you are OK to be here, just the way you are in this moment, no judgment, just simply being,” she wrote. “Hugs, Jade❤️.”

Justin Bieber Usher Fallout Linked To Hidden Past

Published

on

Justin Bieber and Usher

The long-standing tension between Justin Bieber and Usher has quietly simmered for years, but recent events suggest it has finally reached a breaking point.

What once looked like a successful mentor-protégé relationship now appears strained by unresolved issues, personal choices, and lingering resentment that insiders say trace back to Bieber’s early rise in the music industry.

For years, insiders say Usher has felt increasingly sidelined by Justin Bieber, the very artist he helped introduce to the world. That tension reportedly erupted during Oscars weekend.

“On Oscar night, it reached a boiling point,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “Usher feels Justin’s behavior of late and in particular on the night has been out of line.”

The confrontation allegedly took place at Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s afterparty, where emotions ran high. According to sources, Usher approached Bieber with intensity, though the situation never escalated physically.

“[Usher] held himself back,” the insider claimed. “Out of respect for Jay-Z and Beyoncé, he chose not to escalate the situation further, but some feel like he was ready for a fight.”

From Usher’s perspective, the issue goes deeper than a single interaction. Sources say he felt “brushed off” yet again, reinforcing a pattern that has built over time.

“From his perspective, there’s a level of loyalty and gratitude that hasn’t been reciprocated, and the distance between them has come off as dismissive and disrespectful,” the first source continued.

They added, “Usher, who played a key role in helping Justin get his start, feels that history matters.”

While Usher may see the & as a lack of appreciation, those close to Bieber tell a very different story. According to insiders, Bieber’s distance is intentional and rooted in deeper personal concerns, as he feels Usher “just didn’t protect him.”

That statement has become central to understanding Bieber’s mindset. A second source pushed back on claims of disrespect, suggesting that Bieber’s behavior may stem from internal struggles rather than hostility.

They said, “Justin was at a party with his friends and with his wife [Hailey Bieber] and having a great time. What [Usher’s] taking as disrespect may actually be him feeling guilty or ashamed.”

Another insider added that Bieber’s strained relationship with his past management plays a significant role.

“He feels taken advantage of and has some disdain for his past management,” a third source told the Daily Mail. “There’s always been tension after Justin blew up.”

These comments point to a broader narrative, one where Bieber is reassessing relationships tied to his early fame.

To understand the current fallout, it’s important to revisit how the relationship began. Usher was instrumental in Bieber’s rise, helping him secure a deal and navigate the industry at a young age.

“I saw a future of an artist who was very bright based off of his passion,” Usher once told Oprah Winfrey. “I saw the potential of success. It was really always left up to him and I always told him that. I said, ‘You can go as far as you want to go, if you want to go there.’”

Usher’s belief in Bieber helped open major doors, including a pivotal introduction to L.A. Reid.

“This kid was beautiful, like a woman can be beautiful and men rarely are, and he turned it on as soon as he stepped into the room,” Reid wrote in his memoir, “Sing to Me: My Story of Making Music, Finding Magic, and Searching for Who’s Next.”

He added, “Usher didn’t just bring me a kid with an amazing voice, he brought me a born entertainer, someone who would become the biggest of them all.”

However, that early exposure also brought Bieber into circles that have since become controversial. His connection to Sean “Diddy” Combs resurfaced in troubling ways during Combs’ legal issues.

These experiences appear to have shaped Bieber’s current outlook on trust and loyalty within the industry.

Super Bowl Snub Deepened The Divide

The fracture between the two artists became more visible in recent years, particularly around Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2024.

Sources say Usher had hoped to share the stage with Justin Bieber, but the younger star declined.

An insider previously shared, “Justin is flattered that one of his mentors, Usher, wants him to be a part of the Super Bowl, but he is leaning towards letting Usher do his thing and Justin would rather have the opportunity to do the Super Bowl on his own in the future if he were to be asked.”

While Usher publicly supported Bieber’s decision, insiders now claim it hurt more than he let on. That moment reportedly added to the growing emotional distance between them.

The Oscars encounter marked the first time they had been in the same room in years, making the unresolved tension impossible to ignore.

Loyalty, Gratitude And Independence Clash

At the heart of the feud lies a fundamental disagreement about loyalty and independence.

Usher, according to sources, believes he deserves recognition for his role in Justin Bieber’s success. Bieber, on the other hand, sees his journey as one he ultimately navigated on his own.

“Usher was around from the beginning ever since Justin was a kid,” the second source added, noting that “it’s baffling” that Usher would not know why there’s an issue.

However, others argue that Bieber’s growth and achievements have been largely self-driven in recent years. His separation from longtime manager Scooter Braun and the fallout surrounding financial disputes have only reinforced his desire for autonomy.

Complicating matters further is Usher’s continued relationship with Braun, which insiders say has made Bieber even more hesitant to reconnect.

Ultimately, what once seemed like an unbreakable bond has evolved into a complex and emotionally charged rift.

While both artists have shaped each other’s careers in undeniable ways, their current distance reflects deeper issues that go far beyond fame or public perception.

For now, it appears that reconciliation is far from certain.

Today cohost Savannah Guthrie has frequently appealed to the public for help following the mysterious disappearance of her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, in Arizona. Pima County police suspect that Nancy was abducted from her home in the Catalina Foothills north of Tucson, Arizona, in the early hours of February 1, 2026. Per law enforcement, a […]

Savannah and her family further stressed that they won’t be able to find peace until Nancy is located and she is brought home.

“We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder,” the statement concluded. “Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home. We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life but we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place of rest.”

Nancy was reported missing on February 1, with local Arizona law enforcement officers revealing that she was last seen on January 31.

“On behalf of our family we want to thank all of you for the prayers for our beloved mom, Nancy,” the Today show cohost said in a February 4 social media video with siblings Annie and Camron. “We feel them and we continue to believe that she feels them too. Our mom is a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light. She is funny, spunky and clever.”

Savannah continued, “She has grandchildren who adore her and crowd around her and cover her with kisses. She loves fun and adventure. She is a devoted friend. She is full of kindness and knowledge.”

Savannah and her siblings also acknowledged the possibility that their mother had been kidnapped, pleading for her safe return. (There have been no suspects or arrests regarding Nancy’s disappearance, aside from one arrest for making a fake ransom letter.)

“As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated,” Savannah said at the time. “We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us.”

Savannah, who has been absent from Today amid her mom’s disappearance, frequently kept fans updated via social media.

“It is Day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed,” Savannah said in a Tuesday, February 24, Instagram video. “Every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then of worrying about her and fearing about her and aching for her. “We still believe in a miracle [and] that she can come home,” she said. “We also know that she might be lost [and] she may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves, and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother and with our daddy. If this is what is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is.”

Savannah explained that the “family reward” would be given out for “any information that leads” her siblings to Nancy’s recovery.

Prince Harry Ally Blasts ‘Spiteful’ Decision To Strip Him Of His Security

Published

Debate over security for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has intensified, with allies calling the loss of taxpayer-funded protection unfair while officials weigh political risks and ongoing threats.

The review comes as the couple faces fresh scrutiny over their Hollywood standing, following setbacks in their Netflix deal.

Critics argue Prince Harry and Meghan’s influence may be fading, raising broader questions about their public image, professional momentum, and long-term positioning in the UK and internationally.

Prince Harry Faces Ongoing Security Dispute As Friend Condemns Decision

A close associate of Prince Harry has criticized the decision to deny him publicly funded security in the UK, calling it “spiteful” as discussions continue over whether protection should be restored for him and Meghan Markle.

The couple lost automatic police protection funded by taxpayers after stepping back from their roles as senior royals and moving to the United States.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Harry’s friend Alex Rayner, who served alongside him in Afghanistan and joined him on an expedition to the North Pole, argued that the decision does not reflect Harry’s military service.

Rayner pointed out that “Harry is a royal who’s significantly served in the Armed Forces,” and questioned why he should now be expected to cover his own security costs, especially when other royals continue to receive protection.

He also referenced the upcoming Invictus Games, set to take place in Birmingham this July, where Harry is expected to appear, asking whether adequate support is being provided for such a high-profile event. “Are we not supporting him for that?” he questioned.

Meanwhile, government officials are reportedly divided on the issue. Members of the committee responsible for royal protection decisions, the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec), are said to be weighing the risks of reinstating security.

Some civil servants, including those from the Home Office and other departments, are concerned about potential political fallout and public reaction if taxpayer-funded protection is reinstated.

Sources suggest there is an ongoing debate within the group. While security and policing experts reportedly believe protection is necessary due to credible threats, others worry about the optics and political consequences of the move.

A detailed risk assessment is currently underway, but no final decision has been made.

The issue follows a legal setback for Harry last year, when he lost a court case arguing he was entitled to a formal review of the risks he faces.

He later described the outcome as a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up” and expressed frustration with the role of royal officials.

Harry has since appealed for the matter to be reconsidered, writing to Shabana Mahmood to request a fresh evaluation.

A subsequent review process was approved, and he has submitted the required documentation. He is now awaiting a final determination from the committee.

The latest developments surrounding the security arrangements for Harry and Meghan come at a time when the couple is also facing renewed questions about their influence in Hollywood, with some commentators casting doubt on their long-term momentum.

Despite securing an expanded multi-year, first-look deal with Netflix through their Archewell Productions company, reports indicate that Meghan’s lifestyle project, “As Ever,” has been dropped. The move has fueled fresh questions about their ability to maintain momentum in the industry.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield argued that the situation raises concerns about consistent delivery.

She emphasized that major partnerships of this scale are “built on execution, not just vision or vibes,” particularly in a highly competitive streaming landscape.

Schofield explained that while global recognition can initially open doors, maintaining success requires a steady stream of content that connects with audiences. Without that consistency, even globally recognized names can struggle to remain competitive in a crowded streaming market.

Similarly, commentator Hilary Fordwich also claimed that public sentiment toward Meghan and Harry has shifted, suggesting audiences have grown tired of what she described as “grievance-driven royal content.”

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Fordwich argued that the couple is now widely seen as “separated from all things royal.”

She added that their “track record of a failed brand is as bad as their plummeting poll numbers and dreadful viewership of each of their underwhelming failed ventures.”

Media executive John McDermott, co-founder of Caloroga Shark Media and creator of the “Palace Intrigue” podcast, has a different perspective, suggesting the Sussexes could benefit from adopting a different public relations approach, similar to that of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

According to McDermott, William and Kate tend to maintain a careful balance with the media, offering brief, positive appearances, such as a quick photo op of them pulling pints, throwing darts, petting a puppy, etc., before stepping back from the spotlight. This strategy, he said, helps sustain favorable coverage without overexposure.

“For Harry and Meghan, there may be something in that. Show up, look good, keep it positive. Sometimes less really is more,” he said.

Mormon Wives’ Mikayla Documents ‘Escape’ After Taylor Drama

Published

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Mikayla Matthews is finding solace away from the group’s lingering cast drama.

“After everything going on the last couple weeks, this was a very much-needed escape 🙏🏼,” Mikayla, 26, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, March 21, sharing footage of her family’s beach vacation in California. “Think I’ll stay here forever.”

Mikayla, who primarily resides in Utah, shares four children with estranged husband Jace Terry. (The couple announced their separation on Mormon Wives season 4, which premiered on Hulu earlier this month, after attempting to navigate their intimacy issues.)

Mikayla’s vacation comes shortly after production on Mormon Wives season 5 was halted amid Taylor Frankie Paul’s ongoing domestic violence allegations.

“It was a decision that all of us girls came up with and agreed on,” the mom of four wrote via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, March 18, addressing the production pause. “We didn’t feel comfortable filming with everything that was happening.”

Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that police were called to Taylor’s house in late February after an alleged altercation with her ex Dakota Mortensen.

Taylor, 31, was previously arrested in 2023 after getting into a physical altercation with Dakota, 33. She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was subsequently placed on probation. Footage from the incident was leaked Thursday, March 19, in which Taylor was seen throwing chairs at Dakota in the presence of her daughter. (Taylor shares Indy, 8, and Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul, as well as Ever, 2, with Dakota.)

After the video made headlines, ABC canceled Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette days before its scheduled Sunday, March 22, premiere.

“Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” a spokesperson for Taylor told Us in a statement. “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”
